MoO3 modified CeO2/TiO2 catalyst prepared by a single step sol–gel method for selective catalytic reduction of NO with NH3

        Ye Jiang,Zhimin Xing,Xuechong Wang,Shanbo Huang,Qingyu Liu,Jingshan Yang 한국공업화학회 2015 Journal of Industrial and Engineering Chemistry Vol.29 No.-

A MoO3 modified CeO2/TiO2 catalyst was prepared by a single step sol–gel method for selective catalyticreduction of NO with NH3. The experimental results indicates that MoO3 modified CeO2/TiO2 catalystexhibited higher SCR activity and resistance to 10% H2O and 1000 ppm SO2. From the characterizationresults, it can be concluded that good physical properties, highly dispersed active species of Ce and Mo,more appearance of Ce3+ and chemisorbed oxygen, strong interaction among ceria, molybdenum andtitania, and high oxygen storage capacity might contribute to the excellent deNOx performance of CeO2–MoO3/TiO2 catalyst prepared by a single step sol–gel method.

An Approach for Identifying the Temperature of Inductance Motors by Estimating the Rotor Slot Harmonic Based on Model Predictive Control

Wang, Liguo,Jiang, Qingyue,Zhang, Chaoyu,Jin, Dongxin,Deng, Hui The Korean Institute of Power Electronics 2017 JOURNAL OF POWER ELECTRONICS Vol.17 No.3

In order to satisfy the urgent requirements for the overheating protection of induction motors, an approach that can be used to identify motor temperature has been proposed based on the rotor slots harmonic (RSH) in this paper. One method to accomplish this is to improve the calculation efficiency of the RSH by predicting the stator winding distribution harmonic order by analyzing the harmonics spectrum. Another approach is to increase the identification accuracy of the RSH by suppressing the influence of voltage flashes or current surges during temperature estimation based on model predictive control (MPC). First, an analytical expression of the stator inductance is extracted from a steady-state positive sequence motor equivalent circuit model developed from the rotor flux field orientation. Then a procedure that applies MPC for reducing the identification error of the rotor temperature caused by voltage sag or swell of the power system is given. Due to this work, the efficiency and accuracy of the RSH have been significantly improved and validated our experiments. This work can serves as a reference for the on-line temperature monitoring and overheating protection of an induction motor.

Fluoroscopically Guided Three-Tube Insertion for the Treatment of Postoperative Gastroesophageal Anastomotic Leakage

        Guowen Yin,Qingyu Xu,Shixi Chen,Xiangjun Bai,Feng Jiang,Qin Zhang,Lin Xu,Weidong Xu 대한영상의학회 2012 Korean Journal of Radiology Vol.13 No.2

Objective: To retrospectively evaluate the feasibility and effectiveness of three-tube insertion for the treatment of postoperative gastroesophageal anastomotic leakage (GEAL). Materials and Methods: From January 2007 to January 2011, 28 cases of postoperative GEAL after an esophagectomy with intrathoracic esophagogastric anastomotic procedures for esophageal and cardiac carcinoma were treated by the insertion of three tubes under fluoroscopic guidance. The three tubes consisted of a drainage tube through the leak, a nasogastric decompression tube, and a nasojejunum feeding tube. The study population consisted of 28 patients (18 males, 10 females) ranging in their ages from 36 to 72 years (mean: 59 years). We evaluated the feasibility of three-tube insertion to facilitate leakage site closure, and the patients’ nutritional benefit by checking their serum albumin levels between pre- and post-enteral feeding via the feeding tube. Results: The three tubes were successfully placed under fluoroscopic guidance in all twenty-eight patients (100%). The procedure times for the three tube insertion ranged from 30 to 70 minutes (mean time: 45 minutes). In 27 of 28 patients (96%), leakage site closure after three-tube insertion was achieved, while it was not attained in one patient who received stent implantation as a substitute. All patients showed good tolerance of the three-tube insertion in the nasal cavity. The mean time needed for leakage treatment was 21 ± 3.5 days. The serum albumin level change was significant, increasing from pre-enteral feeding (2.5 ± 0.40 g/dL) to post-enteral feeding (3.7 ± 0.51 g/dL) via the feeding tube (p < 0.001). The duration of follow-up ranged from 7 to 60 months (mean: 28 months). Conclusion: Based on the results of this study, the insertion of three tubes under fluoroscopic guidance is safe, and also provides effective relief from postesophagectomy GEAL. Moreover, our findings suggest that three-tube insertion may be used as the primary procedure to treat postoperative GEAL. Recent advances of Na3V2(PO4)3 as cathode for rechargeable zinc-based batteries

        Ding Kunpeng,Jiang Tian,Peng Jian,Wang Peng,Gou Wenshan,Xu Qingyu,Fan Qi,Wang Wei,Sun Yueming 한국탄소학회 2023 Carbon Letters Vol.33 No.4

Rechargeable zinc-based batteries (RZBs) with the advantages of high safety, low cost, abundant resources and environmental friendliness, are considered as advanced secondary battery systems that can be applied to large-scale energy storage. As an important cathode material for RZBs, NASICON-type Na3V2(PO4)3 (NVP) possesses three-dimensional and large-scale ion channels that facilitate the rapid diffusion of Zn2+, and has a higher average operating voltage compared with other vanadium-based compounds, thus exhibiting the possibility of realizing RZBs with high energy density. However, NVP still has some problems, such as poor electronic conductivity and spontaneous dissolution in aqueous solution. The sluggish kinetics of Zn2+ (de)intercalation in NVP and dendritic growth on the Zn anode also contribute to the poor rate performance and short cycle life of the batteries. In this review, optimization strategies for the electrochemical performance of RZBs with NVP as cathode are systematically elaborated, including modification of NVP cathode and optimization of electrolyte. Several mainstream energy storage mechanisms and analysis methods in this battery system are sorted out and summarized. On this basis, the development direction of NVP–RZB system is further prospected.

      • Research on Intelligent Power Supply Control Based on Sensor-less Temperature Identification of Electric Submersible Motor

        Haicong Zhang,Jianxiong Yu,Qingyue Jiang,Liguo Wang,Dianguo Xu 전력전자학회 2015 ICPE(ISPE)논문집 Vol.2015 No.6

This paper proposes a sensor-less temperature identification and an intelligent power supply method for Electric Submersible Motor (ESM) in oil wells. With measurements obtained from the proposed identification, a thermodynamics module is established for the temperature and the fault detection. Besides, the relationship between the rotor temperature and the load can be calculated. Then based on different loads, suitable ratios of voltage to frequency in different conditions can be captured. Finally, the control of the ratio enables power supply to match the oil pump output automatically. The experimental results from an ESM (12kW) in lab are shown to validate the proposed method. The whole scheme is effective and reliable and is therefore suitable to reduce the maintenance frequency of oil pumps and the power consumption of oil wells.

Equilibrium, kinetic and mechanism studies on the biosorption of Cu2+ and Ni2+ by sulfur-modified bamboo powder

        Tian Ai,Xiaojun Jiang,Hongmei Yu,Hong-Bo Xu,Dawei Pan,Qingyu Liu,Dongyu Chen,Jinyang Li 한국화학공학회 2015 Korean Journal of Chemical Engineering Vol.32 No.2

Two biosorbents were prepared using bamboo powder modified with mercaptoacetic acid and carbondisulfide, which exhibits strong adsorption properties for Cu2+ and Ni2+. The obtained materials were characterized byFTIR. Maximum adsorption for both metals was found to occur around pH 5.0-6.5. The kinetic data followed thepseudo-second-order model. The maximum adsorption capacities of Cu2+ and Ni2+ on mercaptoacetic acid modifiedbamboo powder determined from Langmuir isotherm were 103.97mg g−1 and 61.35mg g−1, respectively. While oncarbon disulfide modified bamboo powder were 128.21mg g−1 and 56.82mg g−1, respectively. The adsorption mechanismanalysis revealed that the most possible adsorption mode of Cu2+ was coordination, and Ni2+ was ion exchange. The obtained adsorbents could effectively remove Cu2+ and Ni2+ from industrial electroplating wastewater and could beused repeatedly for more than five cycles.

      • Chemical Composition of Atmospheric Aerosols in the General Environment and Around a Trunk Road in Urban and Suburban Areas in Japan

        Kazuhiko Sakamoto,Tomohiro Sakaguchi,Zhaowu Jiang,Tarek Mohamed Naser,Kazuhiko Sekiguchi,Qingyue Wang,Katsuyuki Takahashi 한국대기환경학회 2007 한국대기환경학회 학술대회논문집 Vol.- No.-

To clarify the effect of the Diesel Vehicle Exhaust Gas Regulations enforced by Tokyo Metropolis, Saitama, Kanagawa, and Chiba Prefectures in October, 2003, we compared concentration of various chemical components in size-separated SPM and traffic volume of 2002 or 2003 (before the Regulation) to that of 2003 or 2004 (after the Regulation) at the road site of National Road Route 17 and Prefecture Road Route 57. Generally, decreasing tendency in EC concentration of each particle sizes was found from 2002 and 2003 to 2003 and 2004 sampling periods, respectively. Especially, decrease in average concentration of EC<2㎛ was clear. In the next, we analyzed various correlations of chemical components in size-separated SPM and traffic volume. From their results, we concluded decrease of the EC<2㎛ concentration at the roadside was caused by this Regulation. Also, we will discuss on long term trend of mass concentrations and chemical composition for SPM and fine particles observed at general environment and around the other trunk roads in the greater Tokyo Metropolitan Area.
