        Factors Affecting Organizational Performance

Nur LAILY,Nur Fadjrih ASYIK,Triyonowati TRIYONOWATI,Titik MILDAWATI 한국유통과학회 2021 The Journal of Asian Finance, Economics and Busine Vol.8 No.6

The knowledge management concept is a valuable instrument for improving organizational performance. The purpose of this research is to investigate the effect of knowledge sharing and organizational learning on innovation and organizational performance, the innovation role as a mediator of knowledge sharing and organizational learning. This is causality research with a sample comprising of 217 managers of manufacturing companies in East Java, Indonesia. Primary data were obtained using an instrument in the form of a questionnaire and analyzed using the PLS-SEM approach. The SMART-PLS is a measurement model and structural equation used to explain the relationship between variables and the mediating effects. The results showed knowledge sharing and organizational learning had a direct effect on innovation and organizational performance. Furthermore, the findings show that innovation was able to mediate the impact of organizational learning on organizational performance, but was unable to mediate knowledge sharing on organizational performance. This research confirms the positive influence of innovation and shows that it plays an essential role in mediating between variables, and it is important for organizational performance. This research has important practical implications for companies regarding the importance of implementing knowledge sharing, organizational learning, and innovation due to their proven ability to improve organizational performance.

Role of Trehalose Synthesis in Ralstonia syzygii subsp. indonesiensis PW1001 in Inducing Hypersensitive Response on Eggplant (Solanum melongena cv. Senryo-nigou)

        Nur Laili,Takafumi Mukaihara,Hidenori Matsui,Mikihiro Yamamoto,Yoshiteru Noutoshi,Kazuhiro Toyoda,Yuki Ichinose 한국식물병리학회 2021 Plant Pathology Journal Vol.37 No.6

Ralstonia syzygii subsp. indonesiensis (Rsi, former name: Ralstonia solanacearum phylotype IV) PW1001, a causal agent of potato wilt disease, induces hypersen- sitive response (HR) on its non-host eggplant (Solanum melongena cv. Senryo-nigou). The disaccharide treha- lose is involved in abiotic and biotic stress tolerance in many organisms. We found that trehalose is required for eliciting HR on eggplant by plant pathogen Rsi PW1001. In R. solanacearum, it is known that the OtsA/ OtsB pathway is the dominant trehalose synthesis path- way, and otsA and otsB encode trehalose-6-phosphate (T6P) synthase and T6P phosphatase, respectively. We generated otsA and otsB mutant strains and found that these mutant strains reduced the bacterial trehalose concentration and HR induction on eggplant leaves compared to wild-type. Trehalose functions intracellu- larly in Rsi PW1001 because addition of exogenous tre- halose did not affect the HR level and ion leakage. Requirement of trehalose in HR induction is not common in R. solanacearum species complex because mutation of otsA in Ralstonia pseudosolanacearum (former name: Ralstonia solanacearum phylotype I) RS1002 did not affect HR on the leaves of its non-host tobacco and wild eggplant Solanum torvum. Further, we also found that each otsA and otsB mutant had reduced ability to grow in a medium containing NaCl and sucrose, indicating that trehalose also has an important role in osmotic stress tolerance.

ANALYSIS OF TEACHER NEEDS TO OVERCOME BARRIERS LOCOMOTOR BASE MOTION FOR CHILDREN WITH MENTAL RETARDATION IN INCLUSIVE SCHOOL

( Nur Laily Irmawati ),( Abdul Salim ),( Dwi Aries Himawanto ) 대구대학교 한국특수교육문제연구소 2018 Asia-Pacific Journal of Intellectual Disabilities Vol.5 No.1

The problem in this research is what teachers need to overcome basic locomotor barriers for children with mental retardation in inclusive schools. This study aims to find out what teachers need to overcome the barriers of locomotor movement in children with mental retardation in inclusive schools. The study was conducted on four sports teachers in three inclusive schools in Surakarta, Indonesia. Data collection techniques were interviews of four sports teachers in inclusive schools, observations made during sports lessons and documentation. Data analysis techniques used descriptive qualitative using Miles and Huberman model analysis. Based on the results of the research can be seen that children with mental retardation in inclusive schools that have barriers in doing locomotor motion walking, waking and jumping, sports teachers in inclusion schools using media and games in every learning but the media and games can only be used by students common and can not be used to overcome basic locomotor motion barriers in children with mental retardation. it can be concluded that sports teachers in inclusive schools state that they need media and games that can be used to overcome basic locomotor barriers to the children with mental retardation in inclusion schools.

Database and Tools for Metabolic Network Analysis

Lu Shi Jing,Farah Fathiah Muzaffar Shah,Mohd Saberi Mohamad,Nur Laily Hamran,Abdul Hakim Mohamed Salleh,Safaai Deris,Hany Alashwal 한국생물공학회 2014 Biotechnology and Bioprocess Engineering Vol.19 No.4

Metabolic network analysis has attracted muchattention in the area of systems biology. It has a profoundrole in understanding the key features of organismmetabolic networks and has been successfully applied inseveral fields of systems biology, including in silico geneknockouts, production yield improvement using engineeredmicrobial strains, drug target identification, and phenotypeprediction. A variety of metabolic network databases andtools have been developed in order to assist research inthese fields. Databases that comprise biochemical data arenormally integrated with the use of metabolic networkanalysis tools in order to give a more comprehensive result. This paper reviews and compares eight databases as wellas twenty one recent tools. The aim of this review is tostudy the different types of tools in terms of the featuresand usability, as well as the databases in terms of the scopeand data provided. These tools can be categorised intothree main types: standalone tools; toolbox-based tools;and web-based tools. Furthermore, comparisons of thedatabases as well as the tools are also provided to helpsoftware developers and users gain a clearer insight and abetter understanding of metabolic network analysis. Additionally, this review also helps to provide usefulinformation that can be used as guidance in choosing toolsand databases for a particular research interest.
