<i>Flavobacterium daemonensis</i> sp. nov., isolated from Daemo Mountain soil

<P>A Gram-staining-negative, catalase- and oxidase-positive, obligately aerobic, motile by gliding, bright yellow and rod-shaped bacterial strain was isolated from soil of Daemo Mountain (Daemosan) in Seoul, Republic of Korea. Its taxonomic position was investigated by using a polyphasic study. On the basis of 16S rRNA gene sequence comparisons, strain THG–DJ7<SUP>T</SUP> was found to be most closely related to <I>Flavobacterium denitrificans</I> ED5<SUP>T</SUP> (97.9 % sequence similarity), <I>Flavobacterium ginsenosidimutans</I> THG 01<SUP>T</SUP> (97.6 %), <I>Flavobacterium kyungheensis</I> THG-107<SUP>T</SUP> (97.5 %), <I>Flavobacterium anhuiense</I> D3<SUP>T</SUP> (97.1 %) and <I>Flavobacterium ginsengisoli</I> DCY54<SUP>T</SUP> (97.0 %). The DNA–DNA relatedness between strain THG–DJ7<SUP>T</SUP> and its phylogenetically closest neighbours was below 40.0 %. The G+C content of the genomic DNA was determined to be 32.6 mol%. The only isoprenoid quinone detected in strain THG–DJ7<SUP>T</SUP> was menaquinone-6 (MK-6). The major component in the polyamine pattern was <I>sym</I>-homospermidine. The major polar lipids were found to be phosphatidylethanolamine, phosphatidyldimethylethanolamine, an unidentified aminophosphoglycolipid, phosphatidylserine and an unidentified lipid. The major fatty acids were identified as iso-C<SUB>15 : 0</SUB>, iso-C<SUB>15 : 0</SUB> 3-OH and summed feature 3 (comprising C<SUB>16 : 1</SUB>ω7<I>c</I> and/or C<SUB>16 : 1</SUB>ω6<I>c</I>). These data support the affiliation of strain THG–DJ7<SUP>T</SUP> to the genus <I>Flavobacterium</I>. We report the phenotypic, genotypic and phylogenetic characterization of strain THG–DJ7<SUP>T</SUP>. Based on the findings presented, a novel species of the genus <I>Flavobacterium</I>, <I>Flavobacterium daemonensis</I> sp. nov. is proposed, with THG–DJ7<SUP>T</SUP> ( = KACC 17651<SUP>T</SUP> = JCM 19455<SUP>T</SUP>) as the type strain.</P>
<i>Lysobacter terrae</i> sp. nov. isolated from <i>Aglaia odorata</i> rhizosphere soil

<P>A Gram-stain negative, facultatively anaerobic, non-motile, rod-shaped bacterium, designated strain THG-A13<SUP>T</SUP>, was isolated from <I>Aglaia odorata</I> rhizosphere soil in Gyeonggi-do, Republic of Korea. Based on 16S rRNA gene sequence comparisons, strain THG-A13<SUP>T</SUP> had close similarity with <I>Lysobacter niabensis</I> GH34-4<SUP>T</SUP> (98.5 %), <I>Lysobacter oryzae</I> YC6269<SUP>T</SUP> (97.9 %) and <I>Lysobacter yangpyeongensis</I> GH19-3<SUP>T</SUP> (97.3 %). Chemotaxonomic data revealed that strain THG-A13<SUP>T</SUP> possesses ubiquinone-8 (Q8) as the predominant isoprenoid quinone and iso-C<SUB>15 : 0</SUB>, iso-C<SUB>16 : 0</SUB> and iso-C<SUB>17 : 1</SUB>ω9<I>c</I> as the major fatty acids. The major polar lipids were phosphatidylethanolamine, phosphatidylglycerol) and diphosphatidylglycerol. The G+C content was 66.3 mol%. The DNA–DNA relatedness values between strain THG-A13<SUP>T</SUP> and its closest phylogenetic neighbours were below 18.0 %. These data corroborated the affiliation of strain THG-A13<SUP>T</SUP> to the genus <I>Lysobacter</I>. These data suggest that the isolate represents a novel species for which the name <I>Lysobacter terrae</I> sp. nov. is proposed, with THG-A13<SUP>T</SUP> as the type strain ( = KACC 17646<SUP>T</SUP> = JCM 19613<SUP>T</SUP>).</P>
<i>Pedobacter ureilyticus</i> sp. nov., isolated from tomato rhizosphere soil

<P>A Gram-stain-negative, strictly aerobic, rod-shaped and pinkish-yellow bacterium, which was motile by gliding and designated strain THG–T11<SUP>T</SUP>, was isolated from tomato rhizosphere soil in Gyeonggi province, Republic of Korea. Based on 16S rRNA gene sequence comparisons, strain THG-T11<SUP>T</SUP> was found to be most closely related to ‘Pedobacter <I>zeaxanthinifaciens</I>’ TDMA-5 (95.9 % sequence similarity), <I>Pedobacter agri</I> PB92<SUP>T</SUP> (94.9 %), <I>Pedobacter rhizosphaerae</I> 01-96<SUP>T</SUP> (94.6 %) and <I>Pedobacter alluvionis</I> NWER-II11<SUP>T</SUP> (94.5 %). The DNA G+C content was 38.4 mol%. The only isoprenoid quinone detected in strain THG-T11<SUP>T</SUP> was menaquinone-7 (MK-7). The major component in the polyamine pattern was <I>sym</I>-homospermidine. The major polar lipids were phosphatidylethanolamine, an unidentified phosphoglycolipid, an unidentified glycolipid, an unidentified lipid, unidentified aminophospholipids and unidentified aminolipids. The major ceramide was found to be ceramide phosphorylethanolamine. The major fatty acids were identified as iso-C<SUB>15 : 0</SUB>, summed feature 3 (C<SUB>16 : 1</SUB>ω7<I>c</I> and/or C<SUB>16 : 1</SUB>ω6<I>c</I>) and C<SUB>16 : 0</SUB>. These data support the affiliation of strain THG-T11<SUP>T</SUP> to the genus <I>Pedobacter</I>. Based on phenotypic, chemotaxonomic and phylogenetic analysis, it is proposed that strain THG-T11<SUP>T</SUP> represents a novel species of the genus <I>Pedobacter</I> for which the name <I>Pedobacter</I> <I>ureilyticus</I> sp. nov. is proposed, with THG-T11<SUP>T</SUP> as the type strain ( = KACC 17660<SUP>T</SUP> = JCM 19461<SUP>T</SUP>).</P>

The purpose of this thesis is to study the causal relationship between foreign direct investment and economic growth export in Vietnam with data from 1996 to 2019. The materials used to analyze Vietnam's economic indicators and the current state of Vietnam's foreign direct investment inflows are cited from the World bank and the General Statistics Office of Vietnam. The safety of the data must be checked when analyzing the relationship between Vietnam's economic growth and foreign direct investment. Specifically, the safety of data of variables must be checked through the method of testing the stationarity of Augmented Dickey-Fuller. At the same time, cointegration between variables must be tested through Johansen's cointegration test. The results of the unit root test and the cointegration test show that the stationary variables have a cointegration relationship, so the VECM(Vector Error Correction model) model is suitable for analysis. Research results of Granger causality show that in the short term, there is no causal relationship between Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) and economic growth, but in the long term, there is a causal relationship between FDI and economic growth. In other words, in the long term, there is a relationship between FDI and Gross domestic product (GDP), exports; which means the economic growth of Vietnam is affected by fluctuations of FDI.
Amplify-and-Forward Two-Way Relay Networks: Error Exponents and Resource Allocation

<P>In a two-way relay network, two terminals exchange information over a shared wireless half-duplex channel with the help of a relay. Due to its fundamental and practical importance, there has been an increasing interest in this channel. However, there has been little work that characterizes the fundamental tradeoff between the communication reliability and transmission rate across all signal-to-noise ratios. In this paper, we consider amplify-and-forward (AF) two-way relaying due to its simplicity. We first derive the random coding error exponent for the link in each direction. From the exponent expression, the capacity and cutoff rate for each link are also deduced. We then put forth the notion of bottleneck error exponent, which is the worst exponent decay between the two links, to give us insight into the fundamental tradeoff between the rate pair and information-exchange reliability in the two-way relay network. As applications of the error exponent analysis to design a reliable AF two-way relay network, we present two optimization framework to maximize the bottleneck error exponent, namely: i) the optimal rate allocation under a sum-rate constraint and its closed-form quasi-optimal solution that requires only knowledge of the capacity and cutoff rate of each link; and ii) the optimal power allocation under a total power constraint and perfect global channel state information, which is shown equivalently to a quasi-convex optimization problem. Numerical results verify our analysis and the effectiveness of the optimal rate and power allocations in maximizing the bottleneck error exponent, i.e. the network information-exchange reliability.</P>
