We evaluated the efficiency of callus induction and plantlet regeneration from mature cotyledonary segments of groundnut cultivars VRI-2 and VRI-3. Callus cultures were induced from mature tissues using NAA and IAA in combination with KIN or BAP. Maximum induction was recorded with 3.0㎎/L IAA and 1.0㎎/L BAP. However, green, compact, and nodular calli were obtained in 2.5㎎/L of IAA or NAA combined with 1.0㎎/L of either BAP or KIN. Fresh and dry weights were highly influenced by auxin concentration. Compact and nodular call! were then transferred to shoot induction media. The highest mean number of shoots was observed in 3.0㎎/L BAP plus 0.5㎎/L IAA. Finally, the resulting plantlets were rooted with IBA and NAA.

Drought is one of the major abiotic factors affectingplant growth mainly in the tropical regions. During stressacclimation response, basal transcriptional process is criticalwhich is coordinated by several cofactors, among which TATAboxBinding Protein (TBP) - Associated Factors (TAFs) are themajor proteins involved in pre-initiation complex assembly. Insearch of novel transcriptional regulators, we identified one ofthe factors, TAF6, in a drought cDNA library generated from anadapted crop, finger millet (Eleusine coracana (L.) Gaertn). RTPCRanalysis in leaf tissues of finger millet experiencingdifferent levels of drought, revealed its stress responsiveness inthree different genotypes. The gene is also induced under salt,osmotic and oxidative stresses at seedling stage. Analysis of itspromoter in model plants indicated the presence of cis-elementsassociated with diverse stress responses. Down regulation ofNbTAF6 by virus induced gene silencing (VIGS) approachresulted in a developmentally defective and stress sensitivephenotype in Nicotiana benthamiana. This is the first report onthe up-regulation of EcTAF6 under abiotic stresses and the geneprobably has a crucial role in safeguarding the stress relatedtranscription process. The basal regulators like TAF6 can thus beconsidered as prospective candidates associated with stressacclimation in plants.
SECURE DOMINATION PARAMETERS OF HALIN GRAPH WITH PERFECT K-ARY TREE

Let G be a simple undirected graph. A planar graph known as a Halin graph(HG) is characterised by having three connected and pendent vertices of a tree that are connected by an outer cycle. A subset S of V is said to be a dominating set of the graph G if each vertex u that is part of V is dominated by at least one element v that is a part of S. The domination number of a graph is denoted by the γ(G), and it corresponds to the minimum size of a dominating set. A dominating set S is called a secure dominating set if for each v ∈ V\S there exists u ∈ S such that v is adjacent to u and S<sub>1</sub> = (S\{v}) ∪ {u} is a dominating set. The minimum cardinality of a secure dominating set of G is equal to the secure domination number γ<sub>s</sub>(G). In this article we found the secure domination number of Halin graph(HG) with perfet k-ary tree and also we determined secure domination of rooted product of special trees.

Information obtained from the real world problems are often complex and left incomplete. The concept of intuitionistic fuzzy system including intutionistic fuzzy sets and intuitionistic fuzzy logic by Atanassov was based on the elements of uncertainty. A common architecture of intuitionistic fuzzy logic controller (IFLC) is designed and proposed in this paper. The capability of the proposed architecture is clearly elucidated through the experimental results.

Production of biosurfactant can be substantially increased by the addition of precursors like vegetable oils, petroleum products, and other water-insoluble substances. Pseudomonas Ptm+ strain produces biosurfactant in the presence of hexachlorocyclohexane (HCH), which specifically emulsifies HCH, a recalcitrant organochlorine pesticide. Addition of previously produced crude biosurfactant by the same organism as a precursor instead of HCH increased production of biosurfactants with a decrease in the total fermentation time from 32 to 24 h. The main objective of this paper was to find alternatives for HCH as an inducer.
