        성인의 천미추부 종괴

        We developed an animal model to recreate the condition of an open fracture in communication with the maxillary sinus. We then studied wound healing of the sinus wall structures following fracture in the presence of autogenous bone and alloplastic implant. This model is designed to simulate the repair of an orbital floor fracture in humans. The New Zealand White rabbit was used as the animal model. Standardized 8mm defects were made bilaterally in the maxillary sinuses to include bone and mucosa in 36 rabbits. Two different implants and autogenous calvarial bone graft were placed in the soft-tissue pockets to obturate the defects, exposing one surface of the implant to the open sinus. Medpor porous polyethylene, silicone and calvarial bone implant were compared. Animals were killed at 1, 2 and 8 weeks after implantation. Gross examination of the specimens for the amount of mucosal closure and implant tissue fixation was performed. Histological sections were evaluated for bone and soft-tissue morphology juxtaposed to the implant. Complete closure of the mucosal defect was demonstrated with each type of implant. Medpor implants showed both vascular and soft-tissue ingrowth into pores by week 1. Bone ingrowth was seen by week 2. Closure of the Medpor obturated defects occurred more rapidly than in the silicone group. The Medpor implants and calvarial bone demonstrated bone and soft-tissue fixation, callus formation and maturation, while mature overlying mucosa was reconstituted over the defects. Silicone implants demonstrated a fibrous tissue reaction within 1 week of implantation and they never became fixed to bone or soft tissue. Maxillary sinus wall regeneration occurred in all defects. This study supports clinical observations of maxillary sinus wall regeneration in humans. Although sacrococcygeal mass is rare and usually found in infants or children, adolescent or adult patients with protruding mass in sacrococcygeal region occasionally come to us simply for a cosmetic problem. In this situation, even though there is no definite neurological deficit, it should be evaluated whether or not the underlying bony pathology or dural defect exists. Few cases about the sacrococcygeal mass have been reported in adults. We reviewed our cases including preoperative evaluation methods and postoperative diagnosis. From March, 1993 to February, 1997, we experienced 6 adult patients with sacrococcygeal mass and no neurological abnormality. Preoperative evaluation were made by plain X-ray, myelogram, computed tomography(CT), and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), as needed. Postoperative diagnoses were 2 meningoceles, 2 lipomyelomeningoceles, 1 desmoid tumor, and 1 teratoma. From our experiences, CT or MRI is essential to evaluate the sacrococcygeal mass preoperatively. These methods can visualize the precise anatomic location and extent of the mass, its relation to the spinal cord, and associated bony abnormalities. MRI is superior to CT, especially in defining the nature of the mass and involvement of the spinal cord. Conclusively, even a simple mass in the sacrococcygeal region in adults needs MRI or CT evaluation, and MRI is the most valuable method of evaluating the mass preoperatively and provides important information to establish a treatment plan.

      • 원심모형시험에 의한 복개터널 복공의 토압특성에 관한 연구

        This thesis is results of experimental works on the behavior of the cut-and-cover tunnel. Centrifuge model tests were performed to simulate the behavior of the cut-and-cover tunnels having cross sections of national road and subway tunnels. Model experiments were carried out with changing the cut slope and the slope of filling ground surface. Displacements of tunnel lining resulted from artificially accelerated gravitational force up to 40g of covered material used in model tests, were measured during centrifuge model tests. In model tests, Jumunjin Standard Sand with the relative density of 80 % and the zinc plates were used for the covered material and the flexible tunnel lining, respectively. Basic soil property tests were performed to obtain it's the property of Jumumjin Standard Sand. Shear strength parameters of Jumunjin Standard Sand were obtained by performing the triaxial compression tests. Direct shear tests were also carried out to find the mechanical properties of the interface between the lining and the covered material. Compared results model tests estimation with respect to displacements of the lining.

      • Resin Casting Mold Process를 이용한 복합재료 펌프 제작에 관한 연구

        본 연구에서는 vinyl ester를 복합재료의 기지로, milled fiber와 mineral filler를 강화재료로 사용하여, resin casting mold process 성형제조 방법으로 펌프 부품들을 제조하였다. 본 연구에서 제시된 제작 방법을 이용하여 부품을 제작할 경우 기존의 방법에 비해 균일한 품질보장과 함께 생산단가를 절감시킬 수 있으며 복잡한 형상제작이 가능하다. DSC 열분석과 경도시험을 수행하여 수지, 경화제, 촉진제의 비율을 결정하였고, 내식성 실험을 통해 vinyl ester의 각종 화학약품에 대한 내식 특성을 평가한 결과 다른 수지에 비해 내식성이 우수함을 알 수 있었다. 또한, 경도시험 data의 제조된 시편의 단면을 SEM으로 관찰한 결과, 수지 : milled fiber : mineral filler의 최적혼합비를 100 : 30 : 10 으로 결정할 수 있었다. 이와 같은 실험결과들을 이용하여 mold를 제작한 후 vacuum 상태에서 경화시킴으로써, 우수한 물성을 갖는 균질한 펌프 시제품 part들을 제작할 수 있었다. In this study, composite pump parts were manufactured by resin casting mold process using vinyl ester matrix, reinforcements of milled fiber and mineral filler. Comparing the fabrication method adopted in this study with other process, it is shown that composite parts manufactured by present method have higher quality, lower cost than those manufactured by conventional hand lay up process. To determine the optimum ratio of resin, hardner and accelerator, carried out a series of DSC thermal analysis, hardness test and corrosion test. The optimum mixing ratio of resin, milled fiber, and mineral filler has been determined as 100 : 30 : 10 by means of hardness test data and SEM observation.

      • 경사진 사석층의 지지력에 관한 원심모형실험 및 수치해석

        This paper is an experimental and numerical research works about the effects of the bearing capacity of sloped rubble mound on the density of rubble mound and the position of footing. Centrifuge model tests were performed to investigate the bearing capacity of rubble mound by changing the density of rubble mound and the location of loading in forms of strip loading to simulate the caisson. Materials of rubble mound used in the model tests were crushed rocks having similar value of uniformity coefficient to the value in field. Two different relative densities of 80% and 90% were prepared during tests. The dimens ions of centrifuge model were trapezoidal shape of model mound having the bottom width of mound, 30cm and height of mound, 10cm. Gravity level applied during the centrifuge test was 50G. Surcharge loading in the forms of strip loading was applied on the top of the sloped model mound. Tests were carried out by changing the position of loadi ng. The rigid model footing was located in the center of top of the model rubble mound and the edge of model footing was at the crest of mound. Test results were analyzed by using the limit equilibrium methods proposed by Meyer hof(1957) and Bowles(1982) and the numerical approach with FLAC being available commercially software. For the numerical estimations with FLAC, the rubble mound was simulated with the constitutive relationship of Mohr-Coulomb elasto-plastic model.

        Cells in avisual cortex line in columns which are perpendicular to the cortical surface and the cortical cells in a column prefer to respond to an orientation of each line segments of an sesory image. orientation preference of each cortical column is highly correlated to those of nearbycolumns and varies smoothly anlong the surface of the cortex. To elucidate the mechanism of this columnar organization, we propose a simple model consisting of orientation selective neruons(OSNs) with local facilitation and lateral inhibition. it is playsible that modifiable connections play an important role in forming and refining the organization togher with the sensory experience. Thus the feed-forward connections between OSNs and LGN cells are modifiable. The interactions between OSNs in the same layer take place by way of feedback pathways and are excitatory and inhibitory. The behavior of the model is described by a STM equations of Growwberg and critical parameter of negative one dimensional ??G function, σ would give variety to the differences in detected orientations.

      • 중소하천에서 Brown공식에 의한 유사량 산정

        하상의 재료가 사락으로 구성된 중소하천 하도에서 하상과 유수와의 작용, 즉 유수현상의 결과로 하상변동을 초래하게 된다. 이와 같은 현상을 구명하는데 있어서 부가결한 요소로서 적정한 공식으로 유사량을 산정하는 것은 매우 중요한 것이다. 본 연구에서는 유사량산정에 필요한 수리변수들을 직접 실측한 값을 중소하천에서 비교적 잘 들어맞는 Brown공식을 적용하여 유사량을 산정하였다. At the small-to-medium stream channel whose riverbed is composed with the rockfills, changes of the riverbed is caused by phenomena of hydraulic, operations between the riverbed and running water. In order to examine this phenomena, it is important and essential to calculate the sediment discharge with the appropriate formula. In this study I have applied the variable of hydraulic which is necessary for computing the sediment discharge and calculated the sediment discharge with the Brown formula which is suitable for the small-to-medium stream.

      • Mobile PDA를 위한 위치기반 Web Map Service 설계 및 구현

        최근 무선 인터넷의 발전으로 이동환경에서 위치정보를 활용한 사용자 선호 기반의 정보 및 부가서비스가 많은 호응을 얻고 있다. 사용자의 위치에 따른 지도나 POI(Point of Interest) 정보의 제공은 이러한 서비스의 기본이라 할 수 있다. 그러나 모바일 환경에서는 특정지역이나 시스템에서 한정적인 서비스만을 제공하고 있으며 일부 CNS(Car Navigation System)에서는 이러한 정보가 메모리형태의 저장소에 포함되어 서비스되고 있지만 단말기 독립형 서비스이므로 정보의 동적 업데이트나 실시간 정보를 적용하기 힘들다. 본 연구에서는 XML 웹서비스를 이용하여 이동클라이언트인 PDA에서 실시간 위치정보를 적용한 벡터기반의 SVG지도 및 POI 서비스가 가능한 클라이언트/서버 시스템을 설계하고 구현하였다.

      • Rhodopseudomonas sphaeroides의 Uptake Hydrogenase에 관한 연구

        We study the effect of uncouplers, which inhibite phosphorylation and inhibitors, which block electron transport in specific sites of electron transport chain, on hydrogenase activity from whole cell Rhodopseudomonas sphaeroides. In the presence of 10μM 2,4-DNP and CCCP as uncouplers, and 10μM rotenone which blocks between NADH₂ and ubiquinone, 5μM antimycin A which blocks between cytochrome b and c in the electron transport system, the uptake hydrogenase activities change into 95%, 102%, 96%, 37% of normal hydrogenase activity in resting cell. These result show that the hydrogenase coupling which ubiquinone in electron transport chain and ATP make an important role in hydrogenase synthesis.

        1. According to the tendency of the function of modern administration, administrative activities have become complicated and diverse. Especially, administrative agency achieves its purpose not by authoritative actions but by non-authoritative actions, so it makes up a sphere of administration free of law[gesetzesfreie Verwaltung] Among non-authoritative actions, nowadays, administrative planning is considered to be important and indispensable according to the demands of modern society. In modern states, the expansion of the national functions and the expertness or complication of the administration lead to the planning as one of new types of administrative activities. While it has been carrying out important functions in modern administration and making some structual changes in the administrative law, it has been bringing out not a little problems. Therefore, it is urgent and important to analyze the problems of administrative planning and to suggest solutions of them. 2. The content of this paper can be summarized as follows; a. Introduction. b. The concept of administrative planning. c. the structural characteristics of administrative planning d. The legal character of administrative planning. e. The concept of the discretion in administrative planning. f. The discretion in administrative of West Germany viewed on judicial precedents and theories. 3. in conlusion, it is necessary to harmonize the planned administration with the legalism. To do it, the discretion in administrative plnning[Planungsermessen] shall be acknowledged and the judicial review may rather be limited to the procdeural controll than the judgement of the substantial meaning of the planning.
