This paper investigates the simultaneous control and fault detection of Markovian jump systems with general transition rates allowed to be unknown and known with uncertainties. By introducing slack matrices, a new approach is developed to conquer the nonlinearity induced by unknown and uncertain transition rates. Then, sufficient conditions are presented to ensure the stochastic stability of the resultant closed-loop system and meet the robust and detection performance indices. Finally, an example is given to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed theoretical results.

Background: Pain and cartilage destruction caused by osteoarthritis (OA) is a major challenge in clinical treatment. Traditional intra-articular injection of hyaluronic acid (HA) can relieve the disease, but limited by the difficulty of long-term maintenance of efficacy. Methods: In this study, an injectable and self-healing hydrogel was synthesized by in situ crosslinking of N-carboxyethyl chitosan (N-chitosan), adipic acid dihydrazide (ADH), and hyaluronic acid–aldehyde (HA-ALD). Results: This supramolecular hydrogel sustains good biocompatibility for chondrocytes. Intra-articular injection of this novel hydrogel can significantly alleviate the local inflammation microenvironment in knee joints, through inhibiting the inflammatory cytokines (such as TNF-α, IL-1β, IL-6 and IL-17) in the synovial fluid and cartilage at 2- and even 12-weeks post-injection. Histological and behavioral test indicated that hydrogel injection protected cartilage destruction and relieved pain in OA rats, in comparison to HA injection. Conclusion: This kind of novel hydrogel, which is superior to the traditional HA injection, reveals a great potential for the treatment of OA. Considering the important influence of longtime (150 day) moromi fermentation and heat treatment on the aroma formation of traditional Chinese-type soy sauce (TCSS), volatile compounds in samples taken from different stages of moromi fermentation and heat treatment were analyzed by solid phase microextraction coupled with gas chromatography-mass spectrometry. Results showed that a total of 76 volatile compounds were identified in all the samples, and most of the volatile compounds were common. During 150 day of moromi fermentation, relative contents of acids, alcohols, aldehydes and ketones, esters, and furan(one)s along with all the sensory attributes of acidic, alcoholic, fruity, caramel-like, smoky, and malty changed greatly. Notably, relative contents of alcohols, aldehydes and ketones along with the sensory intensities of alcoholic, caramel-like, and smoky of heated sample (80℃/60 min) decreased markedly, whereas there were slight increases in relative contents of furan(one)s, phenols, and sulfur-containing compounds of it. Long-time moromi fermentation and heat treatment have significant influence on the formation and relative contents of volatile compounds in TCSS, whereas changes in volatile compounds and their relative contents of the samples were responsible for the differences in sensory attributes.

The putative Co-type nitrile hydratase (NHaseK, consisting of α- and β-subunits) genes and the putative activator (17K) gene adjacent to the β subunit region were cloned from Klebsiella oxytoca KCTC 1686. 17K is essential for the functional expression of recombinant NHaseK in Escherichia coli; however, the expression level of 17K was very low when the 17K gene and NHaseK structural genes were expressed as a gene cluster in E. coli BL21(DE3). To improve the 17K expression level and NHaseK activity, the expression cassette was redesigned by placing the 17K gene and NHaseK structural genes under the control of different promoters in the pETDuet-1 expression vector, co-expressing the 17K gene with the gene cluster in a double plasmid or a single plasmid with a double promoter, and introducing an efficient Shine- Dalgarno sequence 5' to the17K gene. The specific activity of NHaseK was improved when 17K was co-expressed with the gene cluster, whereas the production of NHaseK protein decreased. The maximum activity was achieved when an efficient Shine-Dalgarno sequence was introduced 5' to the 17K gene: the expression level of 17K was significantly improved and the expression level of NHaseK did not decrease significantly. The maximum activity was about 63,480 ± 1915.6 U/L broth towards 3-Cyanopyridine. Recombinant NHaseK could hydrolyze a wide range of aliphatic, aromatic, and heterocyclic nitriles, and convert racemic nitriles to the corresponding S-amides, with E values ranging from 9 to 17. The enzyme had a temperature optimum of 35°C and exhibited remarkably stability below 35°C.

Volatile extracts obtained from traditional Chinese-type soy sauces prepared with soybean (SSSB) and defatted soy meal (SSDSM) by solid phase microextraction (SPME) and direct solvent extraction (DSE) were analyzed by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS). The volatile flavor compounds and relative contents of different chemical classes detected in SSSB and SSDSM were compared for their differences. Results showed that significant differences in both constituents of volatile flavor compounds and relative contents of different chemical classes were observed for both kinds of soy sauces. A total of 152 and 131 compounds were identified in SSSB and SSDSM, respectively, and 102 volatile flavor compounds were common in both kinds of soy sauces. Moreover, relative contents of acids, aldehydes, esters, furan(one)s, miscellaneous compounds, phenols, pyrazines, pyrrol(idinon)es, and sulfur-containing compounds in both kinds of soy sauces were all significantly different.
Value of Combined Detection of Serum CEA, CA72-4, CA19-9 and TSGF in the Diagnosis of Gastric Cancer
Yin, Li-Kui,Sun, Xue-Qing,Mou, Dong-Zhen Asian Pacific Journal of Cancer Prevention 2015 Asian Pacific journal of cancer prevention Vol.16 No.9
Background: To explore whether combined detection of serum tumor markers (CEA, CA72-4, CA19-9 and TSGF) improve the sensitivity and accuracy in the diagnosis of gastric cancer (GC). Materials and Methods: An automatic chemiluminescence immune analyzer with matched kits were used to determine the levels of serum CEA, CA72-4, CA19-9 and TSGF in 45 patients with gastric cancer (GC group), 40 patients with gastric benign diseases (GBD group) hospitalized in the same period and 30 healthy people undergoing a physical examination. The values of those 4 tumor markers in the diagnosis of gastric cancer was analyzed. Results: The levels of serum CEA, CA72-4, CA19-9 and TSGF of the GC group were higher than those of the GBD group and healthy examined people and the differences were significant (P<0.001). The area under receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curves for single detection of CEA, CA72-4, CA19-9 and TSGF in the diagnosis of GC was 0.833, 0.805, 0.810 and 0.839, respectively. The optimal cutoff values for these 4 indices were 2.36 ng/mL, 3.06 U/mL, 5.72 U/mL and 60.7 U/mL, respectively. With combined detection of tumor markers, the diagnostic power of those 4 indices was best, with an area under the ROC curve of 0.913 (95%CI 0.866~0.985), a sensitivity of 88.9% and a diagnostic accuracy of 90.4%. Conclusions: Combined detection of serum CEA, CA72-4, CA19-9 and TSGF increases the sensitivity and accuracy in diagnosis of GC, so it can be regarded as the important means for early diagnosis.
Disturbance Observer-based LQR Tracking Control for Unmanned Autonomous Helicopter Slung-load System
Lijun Liu,Mou Chen,Tao Li 제어·로봇·시스템학회 2022 International Journal of Control, Automation, and Vol.20 No.4
This work investigates the optimal tracking control for unmanned autonomous helicopter (UAH) slungload system under external disturbance. Firstly, the linearized UAH slung-load system model is obtained by using the small perturbation linearization method, in which parameter uncertainty and disturbance are considered. Secondly, the control objective is described via a reference model, and the tracking controller is designed for the UAH slung-load system by using the reference model control approach, disturbance observer based-control (DOBC) scheme, and LQR control method. Thirdly, under the proposed tracking controller, the stability of the closed-loop system is analyzed on the basis of Lyapunov stability theory and linear matrix inequality (LMI) technique. Finally, some simulations and comparisons are presented to illustrate the proposed control method.
