Allylthio group of the sulfur compounds of garlic oil plays an important role for prevention and treatment of hepatic diseases induced by toxic substances or carbon tetrachloride. Thus allylthio group as pharmacologically active group was introduced into pyridazine heterocycle ring. Aryloxyallylthiopyridazine derivatives were synthesized and their hepatoprotective activities were screened in rat. The activities of these compounds were weaker than alkoxyallylthiopyridazine derivatives, which exhibit a superior hepatprotective effect.

근골격계 환자에서 간호중재 빈도분석

The purpose of this study was to survey and identify the nursing intervention performed by the orthopedic nurses from 2 university hospital in Taegu. The sample consisted of 30 nurses had worked 1 year in orthopedic unit. For this study, I used the Nursing Intervention questionnare developed by the Iowa Intervention project and translated by korean specialists and professors concerned to the same field. In order to obtain the data, a special group of 4 head nurses, professor, and researcher was instituted. the special group work validated 201 nursing interventions with agreement of more than 50% because the NIC(433 nursing intervention) survey process was too time-consuming and not appropriate for all labels. The data were collected from June 1 to July 4, 1999 and analysed with SAS program. The obtained results are as follows; (1) 32 interventions were performed at least daily. The most frequently used nursing interventions were Ⅳ Insertion, Ⅳ Therapy, Parenteral Medication Administration, Analgesic Administration, Medication Administration, Pressure Ulcer Prevents, and Pain Management in rank. he next interventions were rarely used: Postmortem Care, Dying Care, Resuscitation, Sucide Prevention, Seclusion in rank. In conclusion, this survey using NIC has helped to figure out the component of the orthopedic care in Korea. The use of this results will contribute to enhance quality assessment and improve the standard of orthopedic nursing.

교양무용 참여 대학생을 위한 우울증 및 대인관계(성격장애) 척도개발

The research hypothesis set to achieve the objectives of this research are as follows. Hypothesis : The depression and interpersonal relationship factors of university students participating in liberal dance education will show differences from KDS-30 and KIIP factors. In order to verify such research hypothesis, the Korean Depression Scale (KDS-30) and Korean Inventory of Interpersonal Problem (KIIP) were utilized to collect and analyze data on 144 male and female subjects having participated in liberal dance education in Seoul and regional areas. The results of such analysis are as follows. 1. Development of measurement scale 1) There were a total of 3 factors (18 questions) in the depression measurement scale for university students participating in liberal dance education. In other words, it comprised of factor 1 (negative thoughts : 9 questions), factor 2 (physical concerns and anxiety: 4 questions) and factor 3 (depressive emotions : 5 questions). As a result, it showed differences with the 6 factors of 30 questions as used by KDS-30. In addition, the Kwon's Depression Scale for University students participating in liberal dance education has been initialized as KDSUS. 2) There were a total of 4 factors (26 questions) in the measurement scale for interpersonal relationships for university students participating m liberal dance education. In other words, the scale comprised of factor 1 (social irritation : 11 questions), factor 2 (lack of sociability, 8 questions), factor 3 (aggressiveness : 5 questions), and factor 4 (interpersonal irritation: 2 questions). As a result, it showed differences with the 5 factors of 47 questions as used by KIIP. In addition, the Kwon Inventory of Interpersonal Problems for University students participating in liberal dance education has been initialized as KIIPUS.

광범위한 지역 감시시스템에서의 물체기반 비디오 요약

본 논문에서는 광범위한 지역을 감시하기 위해 설치된 여러 대의 카메라로부터 획득된 비디오에 대해 물체를 기반으로 한 비디오 요약 시스템을 제안한다. 제안된 시스템은 시야가 겹쳐지지 않은 다수의 CCTV 카메라를 통해서 촬영한 비디오들을 30분 단위로 나누어 비디오 데이터베이스를 구축하고 시간별, 카메라별 비디오 검색이 가능하다. 비디오에서 물체기반 키프레임을 추출하여 카메라별, 사람별로 비디오를 요약할 수 있도록 하였다. 또한 임계치에 따라 키프레임 검색정도를 조절함으로써 비디오 요약정도를 조절할 수 있다. 이렇게 검색된 키프레임에 대한 카메라별, 시간별 통계를 통해서 감시지역의 물체기반 이벤트를 간단히 확인해 볼 수 있다.

Thus allylthio group as a pharmacologically active group was introduced into pyridazine nucleus and a substituent such as halogen or alkoxy was also introduced into the para-posi-tion of allylthio group. Three allylthiopyridazine derivatives were synthesized and their hepatoprotective activities were screened in rat. Under the three compounds (6, 7, 8), 7 and 8 (methoxy-, ethoxy-substituent) are hepatoprotective, but 6 (chloro-substitu-ent) is negative.

여학생 동복 하의 착용시의 생리반응과 주관적 착용감

In this study, physiological responses and subjective sensations were investigated depending on various high school girls' lower cloth uniform in winter. Four healthy young women were selected, and they wore same underwear and jacket. The types of lower cloth were tight skirt+stocking, flared skirt+stocking, tight skirt+legings+socks, flared skirt+legings+socks, and slacks+socks. The results were as follows: 1) The effect of the type of lower cloth in winter on the skin temperature, humidity inside clothing and subjective sensations were significant. 2) It is desirable for high school girls to wear slacks in winter, Since physiological responses and subjective sensations of slacks are superior to those of skirts. 3) It is desirable for high school girls to wear flared skirt, legings, socks in winter, Since insulation and subjective sensations of flared skirts are superior to those of tight skirts.

Antiadhesive effect and safety of oxidized regenerated cellulose after thyroidectomy

Purpose: To evaluate the antiadhesive effects and safety of an oxidized regenerated cellulose (Interceed) after thyroidectomy. Methods: Seventy-six thyroidectomized patients were prospectively randomized into two groups with regard to the use of Interceed. We evaluated each group for their adhesive symptoms using four subjective and four objective items at the 2nd week, 3rd and 6th month after thyroidectomy. All patients were examined for vocal cord motility by indirect laryngoscope at each period. Results: Total adhesion scores at each postoperative follow-up period decreased with time, but were not significantly different in each group. The median score for swallowing discomfort for liquid was significantly lower in the Interceed group than in the control group 2 weeks after surgery. In addition, the severity of skin adhesion to the trachea was reduced in the Interceed group compared with the control group 6 months after surgery. During the study, there were no adverse effects or significant differences in postoperative complications between the groups. Conclusion: Interceed appeared to be safe and effective in improving neck discomfort at early postoperative periods and preventing skin adhesion to the trachea 6 months after thyroidectomy.

감염근관에서 Black-Pigmented Bacteria의 동정에 대한 연구

Black-pigmented bacteria have been implicated in the endodontic infections. This group of microorganisms includes Porphyromonass endodontalis, Porphyromonas gingicalis, Prevotella intermedia, and Prevotella nigresceus. The organisms display a wide variety of virulence factors that may be pertinent to acute endodontic infections. The aim of this study was to identify P.endodontalis, P.gingivalis, P.intermedia, and P.nigrescens by using special potency disk test, filter paper spot test, 16S rRNA gene-directed PCR, and API 32A. Microbial samples were collected from root canals of 33 intact teeth with necrotic pulp and/or apical periodontitis. Conventional laboratory methods were used for identification of the strains of black pigmented bacteria. Eighteen of 33 samples were positive for the growth of black-pigmented bacteria. Five colonies were cultured from each pure cultured colonies from Brucella agar plate. Seventy seven colonies were positive for the growth of black-pigmented bacteria. Thirty three of 77(42.6%) were identifed as P.nigrescens, 10 of 77(12.9%) were P.gingivalis, 6 of 77(7.8%) were P.endodontalis, 10 of 77(12.9%) were P.intermedia. On the contraty the reference strains of P.nigrescens, experimental strains of P.nigrescens was sensitive to kanamycin in special potency disk test. 16S rRNA gene PCR and API test after rapid presumptative identification methods. such as special potency disk test and filter paper spot test, would be accurate detection methods for black-pigmented bacteria.

간호중재분류체계(NIC)를 이용한 중환자실 간호중재 분석

The special group work validataed 205 nursing interventions with agreement of more than 50% becuse the NIC(433 nursing intervention) survey process was too time-consuming and not appropriate for all labels. The data were collected from June 1 to 30, 1999 and analysed with SAS program. The obtained results are as follows; (1) 94 interventions were performed at least daily. (2) The most frequently used nursing interventions were Parenteral Medication Administration, Aspiration Precautions, Pressure Ulcer Prevents, Positioning, Airway Management, Cough Enhancement in rank. In conclusion, this research using NIC has helped to figure out the component to the ICU care in korea. The use of this results will contribute to enhance quality assessment and improve standard of ICU nursing.

RFID와 음성 인터페이스를 이용한 아동용 체감형 게임 개발

본 논문에서는 만 3~5세 아동의 발달 과정에 맞는 인터페이스를 사용하여 개발된 체감형 게임을 소개한다. 이 게임에 사용된 기술은 RFID 기술과 음성인식 시스템이다. 개발된 게임은 아동이 RFID 태그를 이용하여 직접 손으로 물체를 만져가면서 게임을 진행함으로써 이전 컴퓨터 게임보다 좀 더 아동 중심의 친화적인 인터페이스를 제공한다. 아동에 맞춰진 음성인식 시스템을 위해 만 3~5세 아동 대상의 음성 데이터베이스(DB)를 구축하고 수집된 음성 자료를 활용하여 음성인식 시스템을 구현한다. 이렇게 구현된 음성인식 시스템은 아동이 실제 보드게임을 즐기듯이 음성 인터페이스로 게임을 진행할 수 있도록 한다. 이로써 개발된 게임은 아동들에게 실내외 놀이 공간에서 일어날 수 있는 친숙하고 다양한 경험을 통해 정서적 표현 및 정서적 문제를 해결할 수 있는 기회를 제공하여 아동의 자기정서표현 및 타인정서이해 향상에 초점을 둔다. 또한 아동에 맞춰진 음성 인터페이스를 사용함으로써 언어 발달에도 도움을 줄 수 있다.
