      • 水噴流에 의한 高溫面의 冷却

        본 硏究는 高溫加熱面을 溫度(11℃∼100℃)를 變化시킨 水噴流에 의해 冷却시킬 때 얻어지는 佛騰特性에 관한 것이다. 非定常實驗을 통해 얻어지는 결과는 噴流溫度가 증가됨에 따라 熱流束은 감소되었고, 極大熱流束點은 높아졌다. The purpose of the present study in concerned with the boiling characteristics when the high temperature surface is cooled by water-impinging jet. Test variable was temperature(11℃∼100℃) of impinging jet. The result of this study by means of the transient methodl is as follows: With the increase of the temperature of impinging jet, the heat flux was decreased and the point of max. heat flux got higher.

        용접공들의 면역능에 관한 연구

        The authors examined human immunity indicators such as CD4, CD8, Natural Killer(NK) cell, IgG, IgA, and IgM, and heavy metals such as Pb, Cr, Cd to evaluate the health hazard of welders. We selected total 126 male subjects, 60 welders who had more than 5 year working history as an exposure group, and 66 office workers and medical college students as a control group. This immunity evaluation approach is the first newly designed study that has never been tried in past studies on welder's heath evaluation. And the results were as follows. 1. Total lymphocyte count of peripheral blood was significantly higher in welder group, 2,615±650 ea/㎕ compared with 2,368±681 ea/㎕ in control group(p>0.05). 2. The proportion of CD4, CD8, NK cell in welder group was 37.5±9.4%, 24.0±8.8%, and 21.0±9.5%, respectively, and 35.5±6.5%, 25.0±6.9%, and 19.6±8.8% in control group. CD4 and NK cell were slightly higher, and CD8 was slightly lower in welder group. but there was no statistical significance between two groups(p≥0.05). 3. IgG, IgA, and IgM in welder group were 15.9㎎/㎗, 2.7㎎/㎗ and 1.5㎎/㎗, respectively, and 15.6㎎/㎗, 2.9㎎/㎗ and 1.7㎎/㎗ in control group. There was no statistical significance between two groups(p≥0.05). 4. Blood lead, cadmium and chromium concentrations were 4.2±1.8㎍/㎗, 0.4±0.38㎍/㎗, 1.2±0.6㎍/㎗ in welder group and 3.2±1.7㎍/㎗, 0.44±0.29㎍/㎗, 1.1±0.6㎍/㎗ in control group, respectively, and these value were within normal ranges.

      • 콩에서 발생하는 강낭콩일반모자이크바이러스(BCMV)와 땅콩위축바이러스(PSV)의 저항성 평가

        It has been reported several viral diseases in soybean. The occurrence of Bean common mosaic virus and Peanut stunt virus are able to induce severe problem because the main breeding target for viral disease was focused on Soybean mosaic virus. BCMV is a spcies of the genus Potyvirus of the family Potyviridae. BCMV reduces yield by as much as 80% and also adversely affects seed quality in common bean. BCMV has a worldwide distribution because of its high rates 35% of transmission via seeds produced by plants systemically infected prior to bloom. PSV is a species of the genus Cucumovirus of the family Bromoviridae. PSV has been reported to be economically damaging on beans worldwide. Although the virus is reportedly seed transmissible at very low rates, infected plants rarely produce pods with normal viable seeds. The most satisfactory management method of viral diseases such as BCMV and PSV is the use of resistant cultivars and healthy seed. For the overcome of genetic resistance by new virus such as BCMV and PSV, virus diseases monitoring and researches need to study deeply and continually. In this study, we conducted the resistance screen on BCMV and PSV for selection of resistance cultivars. We inoculated on 128 cultivars with PSV and BCMV respectively. These cultivars were classified through pathogenic response such as resistance, necrosis and susceptibility. In addition, 99 and 66 resistant cultivars were confirmed against PSV and BCMV respectively.

      • RT-LAMP를 이용한 콩황화일반모자이크바이러스의 진단

        Soybean yellow common mosaic virus (SYCMV) has been recently reported, it has been occurred a lot with Soybean mosaic virus (SMV) and Soybean yellow mottle mosaic virus (SYMMV) in soybean field. SYCMV belongs to genus of Sobemovirus and induced viral symptoms with yellowing, mottle and mosaic. A reverse transcription loop-mediated isothermal amplification (RT-LAMP) method allowed one-step detection of gene amplification by simple procedure and needed only a simple incubator for isothermal template. This RT-LAMP method allowed direct detection of RNA from virus-infected plants without thermal cycling and gel electrophoresis. In this study, we designed RT-LAMP primers named SYCML-F3/B3/FIP/BIP from coat protein gene sequence of SYCMV. After the reaction of RTLAMP, products were identified by electrophoresis and with the detective fluorescent dye, SYBR Green I. under daylight and UV light. Optimal reaction condition was at 63 for 60min and the primers of RTLAMP showed the specificity for only SYCMV tested in this study.

        위절제술 환자의 표준진료지침 개발 및 적용 효과

        Background : Gastric cancer is the most common malignant tumor in Korea. surgical operation is one of the major treatment modalities for gastric cancer patients. Therefore, gastrectomy is one of the most common procedures in General Surgery. There were variation in length of hospital stay and medical treatment for gastrectomy between three surgeons at Asan Medical Center. Clinical pathways have received considerable attention as a tool for recucing the medical practice variation, increasing the efficiency of care process, and improving the quality of care. The aim of this study was to evaluate the effect of a clinical pathway for gastrectomy in gastric cancer patients. Methods : The clinical pathway for gastrectomy was developed and implemented by a multidisciplinary group in Asan Medical Center. A computerized clinical pathway program was developed and revised after a pilot test. A total of 145 patients underwent gastrectomy by three surgeons at Asan Medical Center. We compared the length of hospital stay, patient satisfaction, and unplanned readmission rate between the pre-pathway group(n=67) and the post-pathway group(n=78). We also investigated the degree of satisfaction among the physicians and nurses who were main end-users of the clinical pathway. Results : The clinical pathway was applied to all target patients. The average length of hospital stay was shortened from 12.7days to 10.6days(p<0.01). The degree of patient satisfaction with the care process changed from 90.3% to 89.2% after the implementation of the clinical pathway, but the difference was of satistically significant(p=0.761). Unplanned readmission rate was 2.9% in the pre-pathway group. More than 90% of physicians and nurses answered that the clinical pathway had been a useful tool in their medical practice. Conclusions : The findings of the study demonstrated that implementation of the clinical pathway for gastrectomy produced substantial reduction in the length of hospital stay while improving the quality of patient outcomes. The computerized clinical pathway program can be used as one of the powerful patient management tools for reducing the practice variations and increasing the efficiency of care process in Korea hospital settings.

      • A Study on Entrepreneurship in Korea & China: Comparisons among SMEs Business Performance in Korea & China

        This study aims to show the problems of Korean and Chinese SMEs business performance and suggest ways for improvement by presenting actual conditions of Korean and Chinese SMEs business performance using the Importance Performance Analysis. SMEs business performance has becomes deeply related to globalization, As external markets continue to open, it is important to strengthen firm competitiveness. Therefore, it is necessary for the industry to find strategies to invigorate the industry and strengthen international competitiveness. Especially for Korean and Chinese SMEs, providing more efficient business performance than other countries is necessary in order to improve international competitiveness. This study investigates nine variables developed by Hermann Simon[1]. The nine variables are ambitious goals, specialization, globalization, close customer, relations, continuous innovation, competitive advantage, trust my own ability, motivated employee, and strong leadership. This paper identified the current status and problems of SMEs in Korea and China and suggested improvement points to achieve competitiveness of SMEs in both countries and provided opportunities to investors of both countries to understand SME entrepreneurship by comparing the current status and problems of Korea and China’s SME business operations. Previous studies that used IPA analysis were limited to service quality, while this study suggested the concerns of business operations in terms of entrepreneurship. This study also identified the management philosophy of Korean and Chinese small and middle business entrepreneurs and provides basic information to inspire a new business mindset by comparing internal and external business environments of both countries.

      • Comparisons Among Credit Evaluation Methodology for Micro Enterprise : Evidence from Credit Evaluation Model for Micro Enterprise of KOREG in Korea

        The purpose of this study was to understand which variable can most effectively benchmark subrogation and use the result to establish a more stable guarantee policy. In this study, credit ratings are calculated from the model to evaluate micro-enterprises using data mining technique for micro-enterprises. The model to evaluate micro-enterprises is obtained from the local credit guarantee foundation. With respect to prediction accuracy of each of the models from the study result, out of decision tree, CHAID was 67.7% and it is the highest model prediction accuracy and prediction of subrogated performance using CHAID model out of decision tree can bring good result of prediction. In addition, because in CHAID model of decision tree the combination grade for which added points are not applied was 79% and this shows predictor importance, it is necessary that the combination grade for which added points are not applied predicts subrogated performance as the optimum predictor and uses the result of prediction for guarantee policy. Suggestions through the study result are like the following. The result of prediction of occurrence of subrogated performance for guaranteed enterprise through evaluation model for Micro enterprisers should be reflected to guarantee supply policy to lower the rate of subrogated performance and through these basic materials that make the tax of government used efficiently are provided. Because of this, suggested is the appropriateness that each of the local foundations can predict subrogated performance through credit evaluation model and use the result of prediction for adjustment of guarantee rate before supplying guarantee, and Korean Federation of Credit Guarantee Foundations should decide whether the model to evaluate credit of Micro enterprisers was reflected or not in audit of supplementation through reguarantee. In addition, likewise Credit Scoring System(CSS) used for individual guarantee should reflect the result of prediction of subrogated performance and decide guarantee limit or whether or not of approval of guarantee. Therefore, the outcome of this study would have great significance as the method to reduce guarantee risk.
