In this paper, a vector optimization problem over cones is considered, where the functions involved are $\eta$-semidifferentiable. Necessary and sufficient optimality conditions are obtained. A dual is formulated and duality results are proved using the concepts of cone $\rho$-semilocally preinvex, cone $\rho$-semilocally quasi-preinvex and cone $\rho$-semilocally pseudo-preinvex functions.
Amplitude saturation effect of a laser-driven plasma beat-wave on electron accelerations

<P>A large-amplitude plasma beat-wave driven by two lasers (differing in frequencies equal to the plasma frequency) can accelerate the plasma electrons to a higher energy level. As the plasma beat-wave grows, it becomes susceptible to oscillating two-stream instability. The decayed sideband plasma wave couples with the pump wave to divert its energy by the instability, and saturates it. The saturated amplitude of the plasma beat-wave traps the electrons more effectively to accelerate them to higher energy. The saturation of plasma beat-wave amplitude is shown to have a significant effect in an electron energy gain.</P>

<P><B>Abstract</B></P> <P>A novel and sensitive electrochemical method has been developed for the simultaneous determination of dopamine (DA) and 5-hydroxytryptamine (5-HT) using graphene (GR) and poly 4-amino-3-hydroxy-1-naphthalenesulfonic acid modified screen printed carbon sensor. The electrochemical measurements were studied using cyclic voltammetry, square wave voltammetry, whereas the surface morphology of the modified sensor was characterized by Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy and Field Emission scanning electron microscopy. The fabricated sensor facilitated the analysis of DA and 5-HT in the concentration range 0.05–100μM and 0.05–150μM with the detection limit of 2nM and 3nM respectively. The fabricated sensor has been explored for the determination of 5-HT in the plasma samples and the selectivity of the proposed work has been proved by the analysis of DA and 5-HT in the presence of common metabolites present in biological fluids. The analytical applicability of the fabricated sensor has also been successfully demonstrated for the simultaneous detection of DA and 5-HT in the pharmacological formulations, human urine and blood samples.</P> <P><B>Highlights</B></P> <P> <UL> <LI> GR and <I>p</I>-AHNSA nanostructured composite film based screen printed carbon sensor (SPCs) has been fabricated. </LI> <LI> The nanostructured composite film exhibited high electrocatalytical activity. </LI> <LI> High selectivity for 5-HT and DA and lower detection limits were observed. </LI> <LI> The proposed method was successfully applied to detect 5-HT in patient plasma sample. </LI> <LI> The analytical applicability of sensor was demonstrated in biological fluids. </LI> </UL> </P> <P><B>Graphical abstract</B></P> <P>[DISPLAY OMISSION]</P>

Our aim is to establish certain image formulas of the (p, 𝜈)-extended Gauss' hypergeometric function F<sub>p,𝜈</sub>(a, b; c; z) by using Saigo's hypergeometric fractional calculus (integral and differential) operators. Corresponding assertions for the classical Riemann-Liouville(R-L) and Erdélyi-Kober(E-K) fractional integral and differential operators are deduced. All the results are represented in terms of the Hadamard product of the (p, 𝜈)-extended Gauss's hypergeometric function F<sub>p,𝜈</sub>(a, b; c; z) and Fox-Wright function <sub>r</sub>Ψ<sub>s</sub>(z). We also established Jacobi and its particular assertions for the Gegenbauer and Legendre transforms of the (p, 𝜈)-extended Gauss' hypergeometric function F<sub>p,𝜈</sub>(a, b; c; z).

Our aim is to establish certain image formulas of the (p, q)-extended modified Bessel function of the second kind M<sub>ν,p,q</sub>(z) by employing the Marichev-Saigo-Maeda fractional calculus (integral and differential) operators including their composition formulas and using certain integral transforms involving (p, q)-extended modified Bessel function of the second kind M<sub>ν,p,q</sub>(z). Corresponding assertions for the Saigo's, Riemann-Liouville (R-L) and Erdélyi-Kober (E-K) fractional integral and differential operators are deduced. All the results are represented in terms of the Hadamard product of the (p, q)-extended modified Bessel function of the second kind M<sub>ν,p,q</sub>(z) and Fox-Wright function <sub>r</sub>Ψ<sub>s</sub>(z).
A rare variant angioarchitecture of upper abdomen

Vascular anomalies are frequently encountered in abdomen. But they are usually asymptomatic and diagnosed accidently during angiography or surgery leading into severe complications. Thus knowledge of angioarchitecture in abdomen, whether normal or variant, is considered prerequisite for successful, uncomplicated surgeries and interventional radiology. This case report describes one of such varying branching pattern of celiac trunk and superior mesenteric artery. During routine abdominal dissection, gastroduodenal artery was seen arising from celiac trunk along with its usual three branches. Common hepatic artery continued as left hepatic artery after giving rise the right gastric artery and a tortuous replaced right hepatic artery arose from superior mesenteric artery. An unusually long cystic artery arose from left hepatic artery and gave rise to 2-3 small anastomotic branches towards hepatic flexor of colon, in addition to its normal gallbladder supply. Awareness of such variations would certainly be helpful in upper abdominal surgeries.

Introduction: This clinical trial aimed to evaluate the anesthetic effect of the addition of 2 mg (4 mg/ml) of dexamethasone to 2% lidocaine (plain or with 1:80,000 epinephrine). The solutions were injected for a primary inferior alveolar nerve block (IANB) to provide mandibular anesthesia for the endodontic treatment of mandibular molars with symptomatic irreversible pulpitis. Methods: In a double-blinded setup, 124 patients randomly received either of the following injections: 2% lidocaine with 1:80,000 epinephrine, 2% lidocaine with 1:80,000 epinephrine mixed with 2 mg dexamethasone, or plain 2% lidocaine mixed with 2 mg dexamethasone, which were injected as a primary IANB. Ten minutes after injection, patients with profound lip numbness underwent electric and thermal pulp sensibility tests. Patients who responded positively to the tests were categorized as “failed” anesthesia and received supplemental anesthesia. The remaining patients underwent endodontic treatment using a rubber dam. Anesthetic success was defined as “no pain or faint/weak/mild pain” during endodontic access preparation and instrumentation (HP visual analog scale score < 55 mm). The effect of the anesthetic solutions on the maximum change in heart rate was also evaluated. The Pearson chi-square test at 5% and 1% significance was used to analyze anesthetic success rates. Results: The 2% lidocaine with 1:80,000 epinephrine, 2% lidocaine with 1:80,000 epinephrine mixed with 2 mg dexamethasone, and plain 2% lidocaine mixed with 2 mg dexamethasone groups had anesthetic success rates of 34%, 59%, and 29%, respectively. The addition of dexamethasone resulted in significantly better results (P < 0.001, χ2 = 9.07, df = 2). Conclusions: The addition of dexamethasone to 2% lidocaine with epinephrine, administered as an IANB, can improve the anesthetic success rates during the endodontic management of symptomatic mandibular molars with irreversible pulpitis.
