Effect of Service Quality Toward Student Satisfaction and Loyalty in Higher Education

This study analyzes the effect of quality of services provided to the students' in relation to their satisfaction and loyalty. Respondents in this study were seventh semester students of Universitas Muslim Nusantara Al-Washliyah, the total number of students was 312. Data analysis techniques in this study used was SEM (Structural Equation Modeling) using the SmartPLS program. The results showed that students' satisfaction significantly mediated the correlation between academics and students' loyalty, between non-academic and students' loyalty, between reputation and students' loyalty, and between campus access and students' loyalty; on the other hand, students' satisfaction was not significant in mediating the correlation between program issues and students' loyalty. The findings suggest that it is necessary to improve the quality of lecturers to improve students' academic abilities and communication skills. As far as non-academic aspects are concerned, conducting training and development efforts and increasing awareness programs for administrative staff is important. For the reputation aspect, to carry out several marketing campaigns which predict to have an effect upon students in building positive perceptions of campus has to be executed as well. Meanwhile for access aspect, it should be made certain that every student can have direct access to staff employees, and it is necessary to improve dimensions which can increase students' satisfaction so that students are convinced of their choice of campus and then they are likely to recommend their chosen university and spread positive things about their institutions.
Antecedents of Student Loyalty Within Universities in North Sumatra Province, Indonesia

The purpose of this study was to analyze the antecedents of student loyalty which included Servicescape University, relationship quality, university image, and student satisfaction. The research was conducted in three universities with Islamic atmosphere under Al Washliyah Foundation in Medan, North Sumatra Province, Indonesia. Data analysis in this study includes descriptive analysis and Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The results showed that: (1) Servicescape university influences university image, student satisfaction, but does not influence student loyalty; (2) Servicescape university through university image influences student loyalty, (3) Servicescape university through student satisfaction influences student loyalty, (4) Relationship quality influences university image, satisfaction Students, but does not influence student loyalty, (5) Relationship quality through university image influences student loyalty, (6) Relationship quality through student satisfaction influences student loyalty, (7) University image influences student loyalty, and (8). Student satisfaction influences student royalty. The findings of this study suggest that the antecedent of student loyalty in universities with Islamic atmosphere which was examined in this research includes four factors: Servicescape university, quality relationship, university image, and students' satisfaction.

The current study was aimed to examine the Indonesian English as a foreign language (EFL) teachers' digital creativity and its relation to their instructional creativity. Using a survey design, the study collected the quantitative data from 422 EFL teachers across the Indonesian primary and secondary school levels. The data collected were analysed using the Rasch-based regression method. Results found that almost half of the participants had a low level of digital creativity, particularly in terms of creating digital content or products, using digital applications to create school-activity-related podcasts and attending digital courses. Low levels of instructional creativity were also found among the teachers. Teachers acknowledged that they had little success in integrating various teaching methods in the classroom and allowing students to evaluate their own learning process. Multiple regression analyses revealed that teachers' digital creativity and age could be associated with their instructional creativity, while gender and school level did not indicate any association. The study emphasises the need to increase digital creativity and instructional creativity of teachers through technology-based training, as it was observed that a substantial number of Indonesian teachers possessed limited digital creativity and exhibited difficulty in combining instructional methods and promoting student assessment in the classroom.

1-Butyl-3-methylimidazolium tetrafluoroborate ([BMIM][BF4]) ionic liquid (IL) is considered for CO2capturing in a typical absorption/stripper process. The use of ionic liquids is considered to be cost-effective because it requires less energy for solvent recovery compared to other conventional processes. A mathematical model was developed for the process based on Peng-Robinson (PR) equation of state (EoS). The model was validated with experimental data for CO2 solubility in [BMIM][BF4]. The model is utilized to study the sorbent effect and energy demand for selected operating pressure at specific CO2 capturing rates. The energy demand is expressed by the vapor-liquid equilibrium temperature necessary to remove the captured CO2 from the spent solvent in the regeneration step. It is found that low recovery temperature can be achieved at specific pressure combination for the absorber/stripper units. In fact, the temperature requirement is less than that required by the typical monoethanolamine (MEA) solvent. The effect of the CO2 loading in the sorbent stream on the process performance is also examined.
Properties of ceramic fabricated of synthetic carbon and organoclay based on carbon particle size

The electrical and thermal conductivity properties of ceramics fabricated from carbon powder and clay have been studied. Thisstudy was designed by varying the particle size of carbon powders of mesh 150; 200; 250; 300; 350, with a carbon-organoclayratio of 30: 70% by weight, 200 bar compacting, and sintering of 950; 1000; 1050 °C. Electrical conductivity, thermalconductivity, specific wear rate, density/porosity, and ceramic morphology have been studied. The thermal conductivity followsthe tendency of electrical conductivity, because of the effect of carbon particle size. Increased sintering temperatures tend todecrease wear resistance. The smaller the particle size of carbon powder, it tends to increase the wear rate and the density ofcarbon-ceramic experiences relatively small changes. Porosity tends to follow density, even though the size of carbon particlesgets smaller. The occurrence of porous and cracking is more due to the irregular shape of carbon and matrix particles.

This research focuses on analyzing the impact of a recommendation system on customer behavior in the e-commerce industry. The study examines the use of big data-driven product recommendations and tailored promotions to enhance customer engagement, conversion rates, and revenue generation. The importance of prioritizing customer engagement in the early stages of the purchasing process is emphasized, and key statistics related to customer behavior in e-commerce are presented. The objective of this research is to investigate the effectiveness of a recommendation system in influencing customer behavior and driving conversions in the e-commerce industry. The research design incorporates a case study analysis of a prominent marketplace in Indonesia. Data was collected from three automation trigger campaigns: browsing abandonment, wishlist/cart abandonment, and purchase reminders. The findings of the research indicate that a recommendation system based on big data has a significant impact on costumer behavior in the e-commerce industry. The research highlights the importance of prioritizing customer engagement and implementing effective recommendation systems to drive conversion rates and revenue in the e-commerce industry.
Cutting Technique for Constructing Small Radial Line Slot Array Antennas

The design of small radial line slot array (RLSA) antennas requires more than simply decreasing the antenna radius, which leads to the problem of high reflection. To overcome this inconvenience, we introduce a technique for constructing small RLSA antennas with low reflection by cutting full-sized ones. We designed 42 ordinary full-size RLSA models with a radius of 75 ㎜ and then cut them into 42 half RLSAs and 42 quarter RLSAs. The areas of the half RLSAs and the quarter RLSAs are equal to those of full-sized RLSAs with radii of 53 ㎜ and 37 ㎜, respectively. Our results show that the gain of the quarter RLSA is less than that of the full RLSA by only 1 ㏈, whereas theoretically, the gain should decrease by 6 ㏈ due to the size reduction. Interestingly, the gain of the half RLSAs is greater that of the full RLSA by 1 ㏈, whereas theoretically, a decrease of 3 ㏈ was expected due to the size reduction. The half RLSA and the quarter RLSA also perform well in terms of reflection coefficient and bandwidth, thus demonstrating the efficacy of the cutting technique in constructing small low reflection RLSAs.
