The zirconia, alumina, and zirconia-alumina (xZr-Al) supported PtSnIn catalysts were prepared andcomparatively studied for propane dehydrogenation reaction. The structure–function relationships ofthe resultant catalysts are well elucidated upon several state-of-art physico-chemical characterizations. The results show that xZr-Al used as support for trimetallic PtSnIn catalysts exhibits the significantcatalytic performances. The PtSnIn/08Zr-Al catalyst has the highest Pt dispersion accompanied with thesmallest average Pt particles, and it presents the initial propane conversion and propylene selectivityabove 55.0% and 98.0% respectively. The initial propane conversions afterfive reaction–regenerationcycles are all above 55.0% and only decrease little ( 3%).

Glutathione S-transferases (GSTs) play a major role in the detoxification of insecticides and the protection against oxidative damage caused by ROS (reactive oxygen species). The bird cherry-oat aphid, Rhopalosiphum padi (L.), is a major crop pest worldwide. Chemical insecticides are currently used to control aphids, but insecticide resis tance is an evolutionary issue for aphid control. In this research, we identified and cloned the full-length cDNA of a theta-class GST gene (RpGSTT1) from R. padi, which contains 702 bp open reading frame encoding 233 amino acids. RpGSTT1 was clustered together with theta classe of insect GSTs in the phylogenetic tree. Effect of insecticide exposure on the GST enzyme activity was investigated in vivo. After affinity purification, the re combinant RpGSTT1 protein was able to catalyze the conjugation of 1-chloro-2, 4-dinitrobenzene (CDNB). A disc diffusion assay showed that the RpGSTT1 can increase resistance to cumene hydroperoxide-induced oxidative stress. In addition, the purified recombinant RpGSTT1 protected super-coiled DNA from oxidative damage. By quantitative PCR, The relative expression level of RpGSTT1 in the aphid was highly up-regulated after 12 h exposure to β-cypermethrin, isoprocarb, malathion and sulfoxaflor, respectively. To our knowledge, RpGSTT1 is the first theta class of GST gene reported in bird cherry-oat aphid. Our findings indicate that RpGSTT1 may be involved in insecticide detoxification in R. padi.

Objective: To compare 5-year disease-free survival (DFS) and overall survival (OS) rates oflaparoscopic radical hysterectomy (LRH) and abdominal radical hysterectomy (ARH) forstage IB1 and tumor size <2 cm with visible or invisible tumors. Methods: We retrospectively compared the oncological outcomes of 1,484 cervical cancerpatients with IB1 and tumor size <2 cm on final pathology, who received ARH (n=899) or LRH(n=585) between January 2004 and December 2016. Patients were divided into visible tumorsubgroup (ARH: n=668, LRH: n=444) and invisible tumor subgroup (ARH: n=231, LRH:n=141) according to tumor type. Results: LRH and ARH showed similar 5-year DFS and OS rates (93.3% vs. 93.1%, p=0.997;96.2% vs. 97.5%, p=0.351) in total study population. LRH was not associated with worse5-year DFS rate (hazard ratio [HR]=0.96; 95% confidence interval [CI]=0.58–1.58; p=0.871)or OS rate (HR=1.37; 95% CI=0.65–2.89; p=0.409) by multivariable analysis. In the visibletumor subgroups, LRH and ARH showed similar 5-year DFS and OS rates (91.9% vs. 91.9%,p=0.933; 95.0% vs. 96.9%, p=0.276), and LRH was not associated with worse 5-year DFS orOS rate (p=0.804, p=0.324). In the invisible tumor subgroups, LRH and ARH also showedsimilar 5-year DFS and OS rates (97.3% vs. 97.1%, p=0.815; 100% vs. 99.5%, p=0.449), andLRH was not associated with worse 5-year DFS rate (p=0.723). Conclusions: Among patients with stage IB1 and tumor size <2 cm, whether the tumor isvisible or not, the oncological outcomes of LRH and ARH among cervical cancer patients arecomparable. This suggests that LRH may be suitable for stage IB1 and tumor size <2 cm withvisible or invisible tumors.Trial Registration: International Clinical Trials Registry Platform Identifier: CHiCTR180017778
Co‑doped amorphous MoSx for efficient hydrogen evolution reaction in acid condition
Lang Gan,Jincheng Liu,Yanjie Ren,Zhongyi Xiong,Kang Chen 한국탄소학회 2023 Carbon Letters Vol.33 No.5
Amorphous molybdenum sulfide ( MoSx) has been regarded as a promising hydrogen evolution reaction (HER) catalyst due to its mild preparation conditions and low-cost precursor materials. In this work, we report a simple strategy combining the growth of amorphous MoSx on the surface of metal organic frameworks (ZIF-67) and annealing treatment to prepare Co-doped MoSx nanopolyhedrons (denoted as CoMoSx NPs). The CoMoSx NPs exhibit excellent HER activity in acid condition with an overpotential of 188 mV at a current density of 10 mA cm? 2 (η10), and a relatively stable overpotential after 2000 cyclic voltammetry (CV) cycles testing. The excellent HER performance of the CoMoSx NPs can be attributed to the doping of Co element adjust the electronic structure and increase the conductivity of catalyst, and the nanopolyhedrons structure which can expose more active sites for HER electrocatalytic. This study offers a low-cost and simple strategy to prepare high-activity HER catalyst, which holds great promises in developing advanced electrocatalysts for energy storage.
Recovery of mortar-aggregate interface of fire-damaged concrete after post-fire curing
Lang Li,Hong Zhang,Jiangfeng Dong,Hongen Zhang,Pu Jia,Qingyuan Wang,Yongjie Liu 사단법인 한국계산역학회 2019 Computers and Concrete, An International Journal Vol.24 No.3
In order to investigate the strength recovery of fire-damaged concrete after post-fire curing, concrete specimens were heating at 2°C/min or 5°C/min to 400, 600 and 800°C, and these exposed specimens were soaked in the water for 24 hours and following by 29-day post-fire curing. The compressive strength and split tensile strength of the high-temperature-exposed specimens before and after post-fire curing were tested. The proportion of split aggregate in the split surfaces was analyzed to evaluate the mortar-aggregate interfacial strength. After the post-fire curing process, the split tensile strength of specimens exposed to all temperatures was recovered significantly, while the recovery of compressive strength was only obvious within the specimens exposed to 600°C. The tensile strength is more sensitive to the mortar-aggregate interfacial cracks, which caused that the split tensile strength decreased more after high-temperature exposure and recovery more after post-fire curing than the compressive strength. The mortar-aggregate interfacial strength also showed remarkable recovery after post-fire curing, and it contributed to the recovery of split tensile strength.
Analysis of Geographic and Pairwise Distances among Chinese Cashmere Goat Populations
Liu, Jian-Bin,Wang, Fan,Lang, Xia,Zha, Xi,Sun, Xiao-Ping,Yue, Yao-Jing,Feng, Rui-Lin,Yang, Bo-Hui,Guo, Jian Asian Australasian Association of Animal Productio 2013 Animal Bioscience Vol.26 No.3
This study investigated the geographic and pairwise distances of nine Chinese local Cashmere goat populations through the analysis of 20 microsatellite DNA markers. Fluorescence PCR was used to identify the markers, which were selected based on their significance as identified by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) and the International Society for Animal Genetics (ISAG). In total, 206 alleles were detected; the average allele number was 10.30; the polymorphism information content of loci ranged from 0.5213 to 0.7582; the number of effective alleles ranged from 4.0484 to 4.6178; the observed heterozygosity was from 0.5023 to 0.5602 for the practical sample; the expected heterozygosity ranged from 0.5783 to 0.6464; and Allelic richness ranged from 4.7551 to 8.0693. These results indicated that Chinese Cashmere goat populations exhibited rich genetic diversity. Further, the Wright's F-statistics of subpopulation within total (FST) was 0.1184; the genetic differentiation coefficient (GST) was 0.0940; and the average gene flow (Nm) was 2.0415. All pairwise FST values among the populations were highly significant (p<0.01 or p<0.001), suggesting that the populations studied should all be considered to be separate breeds. Finally, the clustering analysis divided the Chinese Cashmere goat populations into at least four clusters, with the Hexi and Yashan goat populations alone in one cluster. These results have provided useful, practical, and important information for the future of Chinese Cashmere goat breeding.
An investigation into the formability and processes of GLARE materials using hydro-bulging test
Liu Shichen,Lang Lihui,Guan Shiwei 한국정밀공학회 2019 International Journal of Precision Engineering and Vol.20 No.1
Our research mainly focuses on investigating the formability and processes of GLARE materials in the hydro-bulging test. Finite element simulation software ABAQUS/Explicit is applied to study the state of stress and strain as well as wall thickness distribution while experiments have done to validate the simulation results. The results indicate that cavity pressure and blank holder force have a significant effect on the forming behavior compared with traditional metal blanks. Curing process is also introduced in the production stage after first forming step. This study will increase the application of composite laminate manufacturing and open new ways for specialists working on high-strength lightweight material for future research.
NiO Nanocrystalline/Reduced Graphene Oxide Composite Film with Enhanced Electrochromic Properties
Fengpei Lang,Jingbing Liu,Hao Wang,Hui Yan 성균관대학교(자연과학캠퍼스) 성균나노과학기술원 2017 NANO Vol.12 No.5
The NiO nanocrystalline/reduced graphene oxide (rGO) composite film was successfully synthesized using a simple hot-injection and dip coating method. The as-prepared samples were characterized using X-ray diffraction (XRD), Raman, scanning electron microscope (SEM), ultraviolet and visible spectrophotometer (UV). Compared to the NiO film, the NiO nanocrystalline/rGO composite film exhibits enhanced electrochromic properties and large ΔT (40.7% at 550 nm), fast switching speed (tc = 4.3 s and tb = 3.9 s), high coloration efficiency (12.85 cm2 C -1) and better cycling performance (1000 cycles). The improvement of the electrochromic properties was attributed to the large specific surface area and good conductivity of the rGO.
