임난영,이은영,양용숙,정순애,차경옥,이여진 대한류마티스 건강전문학회 2000 근관절건강학회지 Vol.7 No.1
This study was designed to distinguish by the characteristic difference and the degree of symptoms such as fatigue, pain, coping to pain, and efficacy on pain, and to offer descriptive data for nursing intervention for improving coping ability to pain along each characteristics of disease in chronic arthritis and systemic lupus erythematosus. The subjects were 135 outpatients in the hospital for rheumatic disease in H-University, Seoul. The data were collected by structural questionnaire, from April 29 to June 29, 1999. The results were that the fatigue score was high in the OA patients while the RA patients and SLE patients experienced middle range of fatigue score, but which was not statistically different. Although the RA patients felt higher pain than other diseases, they have well coped with their pain than the others. In efficacy on pain the SLE patients had higher score than others but all of the disease showed lower score. No statistically significant difference among the three croup was recorded in efficacy on pain. Therefore, pain management in the RA patients was primary nursing intervention because they felt severe pain and have well coped with pain while they had lower pain efficacy score than the others. It is also important that fatigue management and coping strategies on pain for the OA patients and SLE patients are specially supportive in the nursing intervention.

This study was designed to order descriptive data for nursing intervention for relief of fatigue and pain, and to distinguish by the characteristic difference and the symptoms such as fatigue and pain on Ankylosing Spondylitis(AS), Fibromyalgia(FM), and Systemic Lupus Erythematosus(SLE) patients. The sample consisted of 92 Patients(AS 29: FM 30; SLE 33) who visited H-University Rheumatism Hospital in Seoul The data were collected by a structured questionnaire from May 1. 1999 to April 30, 2000. The results were as follows: Patients of 95% experienced fatigue in the last week and a fatigue score of three disease groups were above average. The fatigue score of FM patients was highest in the other disease, but which was not a statistically significant difference(F= 1.417. p=.248). The mean score of AS and FM patients in pain was higher than the SLE patients, and there was the statistical significance among the three groups on pain (F=8.239. p=.001). There wasn't a statistical difference among three groups on coping wtih pain(F= 1.451, p=.240). There wasn't any correlation between fatigue and pain in each disease (AS. r=.008. p=.966; FM: r=.328, p=.077: SLE: r=.237,p=.185). Therefore, morning stillness and pain management during sleeping is needed through good body alignment in the AS patients. Adequate rest for fatigue and multiple coping strategies for pain maybe basic nursing intervention in FM and SLE. According to their fatigue rhythm. a regular exercise program is needed for rheumatic disease because they complained of fatigue above average and their fatigue was repeated bettor and worse only during the one week.

This study aims to examine what difficulties and task stress factors the actual female soldiers have in carrying out their duties. Now is the time to come up with qualitative development and improvement measures for women solders. So the scope of this study was actually interviewed by non-commissioned women officers, especially the 125 female staffs of the Navy and Marine Corps. Interviews have led to the biggest job stress factor, aimed at identifying and improving what factors exist. Interviews showed that the biggest job-stress factors are stereotypes about women, male-centered military culture, professional anxiety caused by unpredictable long-term service problems, and other problems of job stress from soldiers and their relationship with their successor, as well as pregnancy and child care from marriage. These job-stress factors have led to a relatively large drop in job satisfaction. The study shows meaningful results that it can be u sed as a reference to understand job stress factors of non commissioned women officers . And this research will give some implication to making defense policy focusing on the women off i cers and n on commissioned office.
Stress Management of KOREAN MILITARY Leaders
Lim Yeo jin,Park Gyun yeol,Bang Won seok J-INSTITUTE 2018 International Journal of Military Affairs Vol.3 No.2
This study aims to explore some points as follows; first, we examine the emotional management for stress management through the literature review, second, through this, we propose an effective emotional manage-ment method for our military leaders themselves. Therefore, in order to exert the leadership well, we emphasized that all naval servicemen should conduct emotional management effectively for stress management in their own self-leadership dimension. In order to do so, we examined the theoretical approach to emotion and the four theories of emotion: from the first theory of evolutionary psychologists, to the fourth theory, the cultural theory of emotions, and the cultural value of emotions. We pointed out that emotional regulation in our relationship is the beginning of dialogue. In the theoretical background, we also looked at the core emotions that we learn and experience when we were young. In next chapter, the first one is an emotional control method, and the second one is the practice of restoring self-esteem in the injured part. The third is that it takes practice to look for happiness, and finally, it provides a way to practice self-coaching by oneself. Through this exploratory study, we hope to help our Navy servicemen effectively manage their emotions in order to overcome the stress of military life. Based on the results of this study, further empirical research and case analysis will be presented to help us to manage the stresses of our military leaders and demonstrate good and effective leadership.

The abnormal proliferation of vascular smooth muscle cells (VSMCs) in arterial walls is an important pathogenetic factor of vascular disorders such as atherosclerosis and restenosis after angioplasty. Epothilone B, a novel potential antitumor compound, has a potent effect on preventing postangioplasty restenosis. Therefore, we established an in vivo rat carotid injury model and examined the potential effects of epothilone B on cardiovascular disease. We found that epothilone B potently prevented neointimal formation and in vivo VSMCs proliferation. In addition, we also showed that epothilone B significantly inhibited 5% fetal bovine serum (FBS)- and 50 ng/ml platelet-derived growth factor (PDGF)-BB-induced proliferation and cell cycle progression in rat aortic VSMCs. Furthermore, FBS and PDGF-BB induced the activations of extracellular signal-regulated kinases 1 and 2, Akt, phospholipase C gamma 1, and PDGF-receptor beta chain tyrosine kinase were not changed by epothilone B. However, epothilone B treatment caused a significant decrease in the level of cyclin-dependent protein kinase (CDK) 2, whereas it caused no change in the levels of cyclin E and down-regulated the phosphorylation of retinoblastoma, which plays a critical role in cell cycle regulation. Furthermore, levels of p27, an inhibitor of cyclin E/CDK2 complex, were significantly increased in VSMCs treated with epothilone B, indicating that this might be a major molecular mechanism for the inhibitory effects of epothilone B on the proliferation and cell cycle of VSMCs. These findings suggest that epothilone B can inhibit neointimal formation via the cell cycle arrest by the regulation of the cell cycle-related proteins in VSMCs.

The Psychological Status and Dilemma HUMANITY of the Middle Leader of the Navy
Lim Yeo-jin,Back Yeon-yeon,Park Gyun-yeol J-INSTITUTE 2019 International Journal of Human & Disaster Vol.4 No.2
This study aims to inquiry desirable leadership by examining and discussing the Psychological Status and the dilemma Humanity of leadership facing intermediate leaders. The research was divided into five categories, including the difficulties that middle leaders face in exercising leadership on the psy-chological status and humanity feeling dilemma of the high pressure that comes from being caught in the middle , the frustration of following incompetent senior leaders, the difficulty of self-awareness that is not seen in the middle , and the the difficulty of leadership exercise due to the characteristics of new soldiers, to discuss what causes each of these occur and suggest how to deal with them. And the middle leader, which means most of the time, refers to the usual middle leader who works in a trap, but it also states that it is applicable to middle leaders such as the chief of the land and land depart-ment. Through this study, we have considered the psychological status and human dilemmas that the mid-level Navy leader may experience, thereby giving various consideration to how efforts should be made to demonstrate effective leadership. Navy leaders must be all-out leaders, and they will wisely overcome the difficulties if they perceive the looming leadership dilemma as an opportunity to foster all-out leadership capabilities to the middle leader.
Analysis of Hanwoo Loin Proteome by 2-D Gel Electrophoresis and Peptide Mass Fingerprinting
Lim, Jin-Kyu,Pyo, Jae-Hoon,Lee, Hwa-Jin,Jung, Il-Jung,Park, Young-Sik,Yeo, Young-Kuen,Kim, Jeong-Sang The Korean Society of Food Science and Nutrition 2002 Preventive Nutrition and Food Science Vol.7 No.4
A proteomic map of Hanwoo loin was obtained using 2-D SDS-PAGE and mass spectrometric analysis: 27 bovine proteins plus 2 proteins having similarities to other mammal proteins out of 52 proteins analyzed. The identified proteins consisted of 50 % basic house keeping proteins involved in metabolism, 30% muscle proteins, and other miscellaneous proteins. Many proteins on the 2-D gel with different molecular weights and isoelectric points were identified as same proteins due to posttranslational modification. As many of the identified house keeping proteins showed the high sequence similarities to other mammal equivalent proteins, searching the mammal databases could confirm the annotation. The preliminary identification of the proteome in bovine loin tissue could reveal the functions of proteins at over 50 % of chance with high fidelities. Using the established loin proteome map, proteomic difference between 1 yr and 2 yr Hanwoo loin tissues were compared on 2D gel. Regardless of the difficulty normalizing protein concentrations and sample-to-sample variations, three unidentified proteins and myoglobin were selected as up-regulated proteins during the fat deposition period. This study contributes to a move thorough and holistic understanding of beef meat, helping to build the basis for future identification of new markers for good quality meat.
