수학교사의 대수식 쓰기 지도를 위한 발달에 핵심적인 이해
최윤형 ( Choi¸ Yunhyeong ),이수진 ( Lee¸ Soo Jin ) 한국수학교육학회 2021 수학교육 Vol.60 No.3
The present study explored a relationship between mathematical understandings of teachers and ways in which their knowledge transferred in designing lessons for hypothetical students from Gess-Newsome (1999)’s transformative perspective of pedagogical content knowledge. To this end, we conducted clinical interviews with four secondary mathematics teachers of their solving and teaching of equation writing. After analyzing the teacher participants’ attention to Key Developmental Understandings (Simon, 2007) in solving equation writing, we sought to understand the relationship between their mathematical knowledge of the problems and mathematical knowledge in teaching the problems to hypothetical students. Two of the four teachers who attended the key developmental understandings solved the problems more successfully than those who did not. The other two teachers had trouble representing and explaining the problems, which involved reasoning with improper fractions or reciprocal relationships between quantities. The key developmental understandings of all four teachers were reflected in their pedagogical actions for teaching the equation writing problems. The findings contribute to teacher education by providing empirical data on the relationship between teachers' mathematical knowledge and their knowledge for teaching particular mathematics.

Controlling oxygen contents is an easy way to tune physical properties in the transition metal oxides. In particular, Fe and/or Co containing oxides are often found to show different electronic states with different valence states by the method. In this report, we synthesized oxygen-deficient SrFe0.8Co0.2O3-delta thin films on (001) (LaAlO3)(0.3)-(SrAl0.5Ta0.5O3)(0.7) substrates by pulsed laser deposition and observed the modification of its electronic state by facile low temperature oxidative annealing. As a result of simple oxidative annealing, we achieved a huge decrease of the lattice constant, reduction in electric resistivity, an increase of the valence states of both Co and Fe, and an increase of hybridization between oxygen and transition metal ions without losing the crystallinity. Drugs targeting the viral enzymes of SARS-CoV-2
Lee Yunhyeong,전영진 조선대학교 의학연구원 2022 Medical Bilogical Science and Engineering Vol.5 No.2
The infectious coronavirus outbreak reported in Wuhan in 2019 became a pandemic. Owing to the similarity of the virus to severe acute respiratory syndrome-related coronavirus (SARS-CoV), the virus was named SARS-CoV-2. Enzymes like RNA-dependent RNA polymerase (RdRp), 3-chymotrypsin-like protease (3CLpro), and papain-like protease (PLpro) catalyze reactions essential for viral amplification. These enzymes are promising drug targets for SARS-CoV-2 because they are viral products with no host cell homologs. For example, remdesivir (targets RdRp) and nirmatrelvir (targets 3CLpro) are currently available drugs for SARS-CoV-2. GRL-0617, a selective inhibitor of PLpro, binds to the ubiquitin-specific protease (USP) domain of PLpro and inhibits its substrate-binding activity. In this review, we provide information on current drugs targeting viral enzymes of SARS-CoV-2 and discuss the role of PLpro in the host immune response.
Papillary Cannulation Facilitated by Submucosal Saline Injection into an Intradiverticular Papilla

Endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP) of the intradiverticular papilla with its invisible orifice remains challenging. Several techniques have been introduced to evert the papillary opening to facilitate cannulation. A 79-year-old woman with bile ductstones underwent ERCP, which revealed that the papilla was located inside a large diverticulum and tended to rotate inward with atrial of papillary cannulation. Submucosal papillary injection of 3 cc of normal saline was performed at 3 and 9 o’clock. Eversion andfixation of a papilla in the diverticulum with this technique allowed selective cannulation of the biliary tree. Stones were retrieved afterendoscopic papillary balloon dilation without complications. She had an uneventful post-procedural course. Our findings suggest thatsubmucosal saline injection technique is safe and effective for selective cannulation and can be recommended when cannulation is verydiffcult because of an intradiverticular papilla.

Members of the inhibitors of differentiation (Id) family of helix-loop-helix (HLH) proteins are known to play important roles in the proliferation and differentiation of many cell types. Thyroid-stimulating hormone (TSH) regulates proliferation and differentiation by activating TSH receptor (TSHR) in thyrocytes. In this study, we found that Id2, one of the Id family proteins, is a major target for regulation by TSH in FRTL-5 thyroid cells. TSH rapidly increases the Id2 mRNA level in FRTL-5 thyroid cells but the Id2 protein showed biphasic regulatory patterns, being transiently reduced and subsequently induced by TSH treatment. Transient reduction of Id2 protein was noted within 2 hr of TSH treatment and was mediated by proteasomal degradation. Moreover, reduced Id2 expression correlated with the activity of the phosphatidylinositol 3 kinase pathway, which is activated by TSH. Although TSH increases the activity of the Id2 promoter, TSH-induced activation of this promoter was independent of c-Myc. Id2 did not alter TTF-1- and Pax-8-mediated effects on the regulation of the Tg promoter. Thus, in summary, we found that TSH regulates Id2 expression, but that Id2 does not alter the expression of thyroid-specific genes, such as Tg, in FRTL-5 thyroid cells.
