Comparison of trophic factors changes in the hippocampal CA1 region between the young and adult gerbil induced by transient cerebral ischemia.

<P>In the present study, we investigated neuronal death/damage in the gerbil hippocampal CA1 region (CA1) and compared changes in some trophic factors, such as brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF), glial cell line-derived neurotrophic factor (GDNF) and vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF), in the CA1 between the adult and young gerbils after 5 min of transient cerebral ischemia. Most of pyramidal neurons (89%) were damaged 4 days after ischemia-reperfusion (I-R) in the adult; however, in the young, about 59% of pyramidal neurons were damaged 7 days after I-R. The immunoreactivity and levels of BDNF and VEGF, not GDNF, in the CA1 of the normal young were lower than those in the normal adult. Four days after I-R in the adult group, the immunoreactivity and levels of BDNF and VEGF were distinctively decreased, and the immunoreactivity and level of GDNF were increased. However, in the young group, all of their immunoreactivities and levels were much higher than those in the normal young group. From 7 days after I-R, all the immunoreactivities and levels were apparently decreased compared to those of the normal adult and young. In brief, we confirmed our recent finding: more delayed and less neuronal death occurred in the young following I-R, and we newly found that the immunoreactivities of trophic factors, such as BDNF, GDNF, and VEGF, in the stratum pyramidale of the CA1 in the young gerbil were much higher than those in the adult gerbil 4 days after transient cerebral ischemia.</P>

최근 우리나라의 지역개발이나 정책에 있어 과거의 중앙정부 중심, 물적 성장 중심의 개발 패러다임에서 벗어나 자립적 역량강화, 지역 간 연계협력, 융합화 등이 강조되고 있다. 이에 본 연구의 목적은 지방자치제가 실시되었으나 지방의 자치기반이 취약하여 지역간 불균형 발전이 심화되는 가운데, 박근혜정부의 출범과 함께 최근 국내외적으로 변화하고 있는 지역발전의 패러다임에 직면하여 지방분권과 균형발전에 토대를 둔 지역 주도의 자립적 지역발전을 이루기 위한 구체적 방안을 제시하는 데 있다. 이를 위해 시대적 요구와 필요성을 절감하고, 지역적 차원에서 창조경제에 기반한 새로운 지역발전 패러다임으로서 국민대통합과 지역균형발전을 지향하는 「지역순환형 자립발전모델」을 제시하였다. 이는 궁극적으로 국내외 패러다임의 변화를 체계적 이론적 틀로써 통합하고 실질적으로 적용하기 위한 것으로 지역을 중심으로 사람을 키우고, 청년을 살게 하고, 사람이 모이게 하는 것을 의미한다. 이를 달성하기 위한 구체적 전략으로서 선순환 전략과 자립전략을 제시하였다. 첫째, 지역순환형 자립발전의 토대가 되는 자립전략으로서 지역발전의 가치와 목적을 ‘지역역량강화(Competency)’. ‘연계협력(Cooperation)’, ‘융합(Convergence)’의 3C전략을 제시하였다. 둘째, 지역순환형 자립발전을 달성하기 위한 선순환 진흥전략으로서 지역교육 진흥, 지역산업진흥, 지역문화예술진흥, 지역복지진흥, 지역창조와 재생을 제시하였다. 첫 번째 전략은 우수 인재양성을 통한 지역교육 진흥(振興)이다 교육부문 진흥을 통해 우수한 인재를 양성하고 지역에 공급하는 시스템을 구축하는 것이다. 둘째, 일자리 창출을 위한 지역산업진흥(振興) 이다, 즉 산업부문 진흥을 통해 청년일자리 창출 및 역동적 지역창출에 기여하는 것이다. 셋째, 지역문화와 예술 기반 구축 및 역량 강화를 통해 지방문화예술을 진흥해 나가야 한다. 넷째, 지역복지역랑 강화를 위한 지역복지 진흥(振興) 이다. 지역복지 진흥을 통해 지역 복지 예산 및 인프라 구축 등을 통해 서민들이 피부로 느낄 수 있는 복지역량을 강화시켜나가야 할 것이다. 마지막으로 지역창조와 재생을 통해 관련 인프라를 확충하여 국토의 고른 공간 창출을 진흥시켜 나가야 할 것이다. Despite local government efforts for regional change, the local self-government based development is vulnerable to deepening disparities between regions. While confronting the paradigm of the latest changes in national and international development of the region that Park Geun-hye government faces, the purpose of this study is to present concrete plans for achieving self-sustaining regional development based on decentralization and balanced development. To this end, with the demands and needs of the times, “The Self-Supporting Development Model of the Regional Circulation” is proposed which professes national unification and balanced regional development as a new regional development paradigm which is based on the creative economy utilizing the local dimension. Ultimately, this is for integrating a domestic and foreign paradigm shift as a systematic theoretical framework and practically applying that in the field. It intends to accomplish this by educating people in the area, making them live in the area, and gathering people into the area. In order to achieve it, we proposed a virtuous and self-supporting development model. Firstly, for tile self-supporting development of the regional circulation, the 3C strategy-Competency, Cooperation, Convergence, Convergence-is proposed. Secondly, in order to achieve self-supporting development as a strategy for promoting regional circulation, we proposed promotion of regional education, regional industrial development, local cultural arts, and community welfare for the creation and regeneration of the region. The first strategy is through promotion of local education by fostering talented people in the regional area. Secondly, by creating jobs for local industrial development and contributing to the creation of a dynamic region. Thirdly, by empowering the local culture and building up the cultural grounds, through promotion of local art and culture. Fourthly, local social welfare should be promoted through community welfare budgets and appropriate infrastructure in order to strengthen the regional social welfare power. As a result, people will benefit through welfare empowerment. Lastly, enhancing the infrastructure through the creation and expansion in the reproduction of the region. As a result of the effort in making a well-balanced regional development, it is expected a well-balanced space development for the whole country.

Afferent loop syndrome is an uncommon complication of a gastrectomy and Billroth Ⅱ reconstruction. It may cause symtoms at any time from the first postoperative day to many years after the gastrectomy. Afferent loop syndrome is characterized by abdominal pain, vomiting and elevation of serum amylase. Thus, it is difficult to differentiate afferent loop syndrome from other cause of acute pancreatitis. However, the history of gastrectomy can be an important clue for diagnosing afferent loop syndrome. We experienced one case of chronic afferent loop syndrome with acute pancreatitis. After appropriate management, the abdominal pain disappeared and serum amylase level decreased. We report this case with a review of relevant literatures.

Hitchcock, "a master of the thriller" "leading figure of thriller", was famous for his work style. He never starts filming until completing a perfect conception in his mind before shooting. He started filming after getting a perfect filming plan adding a picture even one detailed shot picture. Also the movie costumes was not an exception in his movie. He put more main object to express a symbolic meanings by recreating movie costumes which were fit to drama's subject than function which spoke far contemporary popularity also he guides actors to put on the movie costumes examined previously to shape a definite visual character in that works. This research intends not only to look into symbolic and expressive means of dresses through the movie costumes on thriller appeared in Hitchcock's movie, but also broaden the comprehension width by grasping importance of the movie-costume and dress image implicated in the movie. Hitchcock made about 55 movies, mostly thriller movies, from Number 13(1922) an unfinished work to Family plot(1976) ones posthumous work. This research examined his the second half of term works (after 1950) such as Rear Window(1954), Vertigo(1958), Psycho(1960), Torn Curtain(1966), Topaz(1969) and Frenzy(1972) which are generally familiar to the public. In conclusion, we can find that the thriller movie costumes as well as the other movie are appeared a character of the film's characters, social rank, economic level, personality. but especially, a costume of Hitchcock's thriller movie can be contained a characteristic factor of a kind of five. 遠心噴霧法에 의한 Al 含今粉末의 製造에 關한 硏究

Alloy powders containing Si were fabricated using the centrifugal atomization of rapid solidification process. The alloy powder morphology, particle size distribution and powder particle size were examined in order to characterize RSP powder properties. The shape of powder article were not globe-shaped but generally ligament, direct drop and irregular-shaped. The size of powders showed bimodal distribution which has two peaks at 50㎛. The powder particle size varied from 30㎛ to 400㎛. The cooling rate of the alloy powder is calculated to be 10²~10??K/s.

Hyper-eutectic Al-Si alloy powders are considered for high strength and abrasive resistance application, and have been produced by centrifugal atomization process, a sort of rapid solidification processes, in order to prevent coarse Si primary crystal formation which usually causes poor workability and formability, and consolidated by hot extrusion. Finely distributed Si primary crystals, which are far smaller than those in conventional casting materials, have been observed in the as-extruded bar stock. Extruded specimens were subsequently tested in compression and tensile modes at various deformation rates in the temperature range from room temperature to 500℃, in order to investigate the effect of temperature on the deformation resistance and the fracture deformation. Deformation conditions are also investigated to optimize the workability limit with a minimum working pressure in this study.

In an attempt to control coarse Si phase formation in Al alloys, centrifugal atomization process, one of rapid solidification processes(RSP), has been applied to produce Al-Si alloy powders, and then the powders have been consolidated by hot extrusion process. The effects of Si phase, particle morphology and particle size distribution have been investigated and correlated with the mechanical properties of the extruded Al-Si alloys. The effect of quenching rate on the physical properties of powder as well as the mechanical properties of as-hot extruded condition has also been discussed in this study.

Digital Subtraction Angiography (DSA)시 Grid 사용유무에 따른 화상변화에 관한 연구

It has been investigated the variation of the image for using and no using the Grid at the D.S.A(Digital Subtraction Angiography) system. The result of experiment indicated that in the case of no using the Grid, (1) the irradiation dose of patient was reduced and the life of X-ray tube prolonged. (2) the variation of the contrast was not influence of using the Grid.

정신분열병과 Neurotensin 수용체 유전자 다형성의 연합 연구

연구목적: Neurotensin(NT)은 NT수용체와 결합하여 그 효과를 나타내는 neuromodulator 혹은 neurotransmitter로서 대뇌에서 도파민의 분비를 조절하는데 중요한 역할을 한다. 근래의 연구에 의하면 NT와 그 수용체는 대뇌에서 항정신병 약물의 효과를 매개하는 것으로 생각되고 있으며 약물치료를 받지 않은 정신분열병 환자의 뇌척수액에서 NT의 양이 적으로 보고되고 있어 이들은 정신분열병과 깊은 관련을 가지고 있을 것으로 추정된다. 최근 NT수용체의 유전자의 3`인접영역에서 정보가치가 높은 4 염기반복 다형성이 발견되어 이를 유전 표지자로 하여 정신분열병과의 연합을 알아보았다. 방 법: 서로 혈연관계에 있지 않은 정신분열병 환자 120명(남자 91명, 여자 29명)과 정상 대조군 106명(남자 84명, 여자 22명)을 대상으로 하였다. PANSS를 사용하여 양성 및 음성을 알아보았다. 말초혈액에서 DNA를 분리한 후에 중합효소연쇄반응을 사용하여 3`인접영역에 있는 4 염기 반복 다형성을 증폭하였고 silver staining한 후에 유전자형을 관찰하였다. chi-square 검증과 Bonferroni`s correction을 사용하여 환자군과 정상 대조군간의 대립유전자 빈도의 차이를 알아보았다. 또한 양성 및 음성 환자군으로 나누어 차이를 알아보았다. 결 과: 총 23개의 대립유전자가 관찰되었으며, 399bp의 대립유전자(A10)의 빈도가 환자군보다 정상대조군에서 통계적으로 유의하게 높았다(χ²=16.49, df=1, p<0.001). 음성 정신분열병 환자군과 정상대조군 사이의 비교에서는 정상대조군의 A10의 빈도가 환자군보다 유의하게 높았다(χ²=21.33, df=1, p<0.001). 성별 비교에서 남자 정신분열병 환자군은 대조군에 비하여 A10의 분포가 유의하게 적었다. (χ²=13.71, df=1, p<0.001) 결 론: NT 수용체 유전자와 정신분열병사이에 음성연합이 관찰되었다. NT 수용체 유전자가 일부 정신분열병의 발병과정에서 확실하지는 않지만 어떤 종류의 보호기능을 할 수도 있다는 것을 암시한다. Objectives: Neurotensin(NT), of which functions are evoked by its interaction with neurotensin receptors(NTR), coexists with mesolimbic dopamine and regulates endogenous dopamine release. Recent studies have shown that NT with NTR exerts neuroleptic-like activity within the central nervous system and may play an important role in the pathogenesis and in the treatment of schizophrenia. We have examined the gentic association between schizophrenia and tetranucleotide repeat polymorphism in the 3-flanking region of the NTR gene to investigate the possible contribution of the NTR gene to the schizophrenia susceptibility. Methods: Among 23 alleles identified, the subjects were 120 patients(male 91, female 29)with schizophrenia and 106 normal healthy controls(male 84, female 22). They were unrelated native Korean. PANSS was used to determine positive or negative subgroup in the schizophrenic patients. Using polymerase chain reaction and polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis, tetranucleotide repeat polymorphism(CCTT and CTT) in the 3`-flanking region of NTR gene was observed. For a comparison of NTR gene`s allelic frequencies between patients with schizophrenia and normal healthy controls, chi-square test and Bonferroni`s correction was performed. Results: The frequency of A10 allele(base pair size=399)was significantly higher in normal healthy controls than schizophrenia(χ²=16.4902, df=1, p<.000). In the comparison between schizophrenic patients with negative symptoms and normal controls, the frequency of A10 allele was significantly higher in normal healthy control subjects than patients with schizophrenia(χ²=21.33, df=1, p<0.001). In the case of male, the frequency of A10 allele of schizophrenia was significantly higher than normal controls(χ²=13.71, df=1, p<0.001). Conclusions: NTR gene was negatively associated with schizophrenia. NTR gene`s tetranucleotide repeat polymorphism may provide some protective function against schizophrenia.
