        랫드에 있어서 Bromobenzene의 격일 투여 시, 매일 투여한 경우와 간손상 정도의 비교

        Bromobenzene의 투여 간격에 따라 간손상이 어떠한 차이를 나타내는지를 검토하기 위하여 흰쥐에 체중 1kg 당 400mg의 bromobenzene을 복강으로 2일 및 1일 간격으로 각각 3회 투여한 다음 간손상을 병리조직학적, 간기능적 측면에서 검토한 결과 2일 간격으로 투여한 실험군에서 간손상이 경미하게 나타났다. 그리고 간조직 중 cytochrome P450 함량은 2일 간격으로 투여한 실험군에서는 대조군 보다 증가되는 경향을 보였으나 1일 간격으로 투여한 경우에는 대조군 보다 오히려 유의한 (p<0.01) 감소를 보였다. 간조직 중 대조군에 대한 glutathione 감소율과 glutathione S-transferase 활성 증가율은 2일 간격으로 bromobenzene을 투여한 군이 1일 간격으로 투여한 실험군 보다 높게 나타났다. 이상 실험 결과는 동일한 양과 회수로서 bromobenzene을 격일로 투여한 실험동물에 있어서 매일 투여한 경우 보다 간손상이 경미하였으며, 이는 bromobenzene의 대사율이 증가됨으로서 나타난 결과로 생각된다. To evaluate the effect of intervals of bromobenzene treatment on the liver damage, the bromobenzene(400 mg/kg, i.p.) was given to rats at either one day or two days interval at three times. All the experimental animals were sacrificed at 24 hours after the last injection. Liver morphological changes were observed under a light microscopic examination and liver functional changes were determined by the measurement of alaine aminotransferase (ALT) activity and hepatic malondialdehyde (MDA) content. The experimental to examine the cause of liver damage were cytochrome P450, glutathione (GSH) content and glutathione S-transferase(GST) activities. The results are summarized as follows; Based on the liver morphological and functional findings, the daily bromobenzene-treated rats (ED) showed the more severe liver damage than every other day bromobenzene-treated rats (EOD). The hepatic cytochrome p450 content was higher in EOD group than that in ED group. And the increasing rate of hepatic GST activity and decreasing rate of GSH content to the control were higher in EOD group than that in ED group. In conclusion, the treatment of bromobenzene intermittently to the rats may lead to more reduced liver injury compared with the continuously treated animals when both cases are treated with the same dose and frequency, and it may be caused by the enhancement of bromobenzene metabolism.

        The results of experimental review with S35C as material on the changes of the fatigue limit are summarized as follows: 1) The length of Ferrite between pearlite takes logarithmical regular distribution. 2) The distribution of the length of the static cracks with the material takes no logarithmical regular distribution. 3) 10? times of reactive repetition in the material can not be considered adequate as a value of fatigue limit. 4) According to an observation of the shape, direction and deapth of the static cracks, the shape of the surface does not create semicircle, but there exist cracks of ourfacial strips. 5) The Fracture stress of the test piece is determined by the weakest defect of the test piece. 6) The cracks are formed by Ferrite.

        This results experimental review of the fatigue limit are summarized as follows : 1) Macro crack comparatively exists on the subface of Necking Phenomenon in fragment. 2) Also, the mode final fracture in view of micro-scopic of serration is found out of characteristic of ductile fracture. 3) In case of dynamic loads, the fatigue strength of Original materials was high 4) fracture occurs on the moderate condition in which the dynamic and metallic structure linked together 5) The fatigue process itself under alternating shear stress is not changed by residual stress, therefore, the effect of residual stress on fatigue can be regarded as that of mean stress.

        This study is to investigate the aspects ofr the formation and propagation of fatigue cracks of structural carbon steel under different stress levels. The result of the investigation is as follows: 1) The fatigue limits of hardened steel and mild steel are 15㎏/㎟ and 12㎏/㎟ respectively. 2) Fractured surfaces under high stress is more uneven than those under low stress. 3) The cracks propagate in axial direction under high stress, and in circumferential direction under low stress. 4) The crack forms at a certain time regardless of stress level. But the aspect of crack propagation differs under different stress levels.

        A Case Report of Efficacy of Growth Height and Peak-Luteinizing Hormone Level Suppression on Idiopathic Gonadotropin-Dependent Precocious Puberty Patient Using Herbal Remedy, Aesopjiyoun-tang

        The purpose of this report is to evaluate effect of Korean medical treatment on idiopathic gonadotropin-dependent precocious puberty (G-DPP) patient received herbal medicine. We administered Aesopjiyoun-tang remedy to idiopathic G-DPP and analyzed the delay effect by hormonal value and radiographs; the height growth effect by measurement of height. After Korean medical treatment, suppression effect to peak- Luteinizing Hormone level (LHL) is 14.39IU/L to 10.9IU/L for 13month, growth effect to height value is 11cm/13month; and change of mean growth velocity (MGV) is 6.08cm/year to 10.06cm/year. The gain in height by treatment is 3.98cm/year. The result suggests Aesopjiyoun-tang can be an effective treatment for G-DPP. Herbal medicine can be used as an alternative treatment in place of the GnRH treatment.

      • Micromonospora sp. SA-246 균주가 생산하는 Isochromanequinone계 항생물질

        저영양성 미생물을 선택적으로 분리, 배양하여 새로운 생리활성물질을 탐색하던 중 SA-246 균주가 강한 항균활성 및 암세포주에 대한 세포독성을 나타내는 것을 발견하였다. SA-246 균주의 동정을 위하여 배양적, 형태적, 생리적 특성을 ISP 방법에 따라 조사한 결과 Micromonospora 屬에 속하는 것으로 동정하였으며 따라서 Micromonospora sp. SA-246으로 명명하였다. 배양액으로 부터 용매추출, silica gel column chromatography, preparative TLC, HPLC 등에 의하여 활성물질을 분리, 정제하였으며 UV 흡수, mass, NMR spectrum의 분석 결과 본 활성물질을 crisamicin A로 동정하였다. 화합물 SA-246은 그람 양성 세균에 항균활성을, 폐암세포주(A549), 난포암세포주(SK-OV-3), 피부암세포주(SK-MEL-2), 신경암세포주(XF498), 대장암세포주(HCT15)에 세포독성을 나타내었다. In the course of screening for new bioactive compounds from oligotrophs in soil, a microorganism, designated as SA-246 and now identified as Micromonospora sp., has been shown to produce a strong anitbacterial compound. The active compound was purified from broth filtrate by ethylacetate extraction, silica gel column chromatography, preparative TLC and HPLC, and was identified as crisamicin A based on mass and NMR spectral data. The compound SA-246 exhibited not only strong anitbacterial activity against Gram-positive bacteria but also cytotoxicity against cancer cell lines such as A549 (lung), SK-OV-3 (ovarian), SK-MEL-2 (melanoma), XF498 (central nervous system) and HCT15 (colon).

      • 감나무탄저병에서 분리한 Gloeosporium kaki의 2계통

        A anthracnose symptom at persimmon tree was found out in the field, Chonju in Chonbuk province and Haenam Experiment Station in Chonnam province in 1991 and 1992. The cultivated character and the pathogenicity of the fungi were as follows : These fungi, Gloeosparium kaki which were isolated from the anthracnose were classified into strain Ⅰ and Ⅱ by the cultivated characteristics. The size of conidia in strain Ⅰ was 22.5 × 6.82 ㎛ and that of strain Ⅱ was 20.3 × 6.2 ㎛. In a PDA, the colour of strain I was light brown and made a central zone. The colour of strain Ⅱ was black brown and deep grey and didn't make a central zone. The pathogenicity of strain Ⅰ was similar to strain Ⅱ in the leaf, branches.

      • 養鷄 主飼料인 옥수수 代置飼料로서 小麥利用에 關한 硏究 : 第 1報 옥수수 代置飼料로서 小麥의 利用水準 Ⅰ. Utilization Level of Wheat as a Substitute Feed for Corn

        初生雛 育成飼料의 主飼料인 옥수수의 代置飼料로서 밀을 이용한 代置水準을 究明하고저 本 實驗을 實施하였던 바 그 結果는 다음과 같다. 1. 增體量은 옥수수와 밀을 各各 50%씩 使用한 區와 밀보다 옥수수를 많이 使用한 區가 밀 만을 使用한 區에 비해서 增體量이 좋았다. 2. 飼料攝取量은 옥수수를 제일많이 使用한 區가 제일 적었고, 반대로 밀을 많이 사용한 區 일수록 높았다. 3. 飼料效率은 옥수수와 밀을 50%씩 使用한 區가 옥수수와 밀의 單用區 보다는 좋았다. 4. kg增體에 所要된 飼料費는 옥수수와 밀을 50%씩 사용한 區가 제일 낮아 本 試驗에 의하면 養鷄配合飼料의 穀類 60%中 밀을 30%程度 使用할 수 있다고 하겠다. To investigate the substitute level of wheat for corn used as major ration of laying hen, was carried out. The results obtained were as follows: 1. Body weight gain was higher in the treatment of Corn 50% : Wheat 50% and in used more corn than wheat in contrast with the treatment used only wheat. 2. Diet intake was least in the treatment used only corn and on the other hand, the only wheat was higher than other treatment used corn in the diet intake. 3. Feed efficiency was more improved in the treatment used 50% of wheat and corn, respectively than in the treatment used only wheat. 4. Feed cost required per kg body gain was lowest in the treatment used 50% of wheat and corn. Therefore, according to the present experiment it may be to say that s0% of wheat will be substituted for corn in the formulated ration of laying hen using 60% cereals.
