Exploring the Health Production Model in Vietnam
Tuyen Thi Mong NGUYEN,Quyen Le Hoang Thuy To NGUYEN 한국유통과학회 2021 The Journal of Asian Finance, Economics and Busine Vol.8 No.12
One of the sustainable development goals is to promote good health and well-being for all people. Child health is a top priority since their health issues can have a detrimental impact on human capital development, which is a critical input for the growth model. This paper applies the health production model to explore the determinants that influence the health of children under the age of five. The results of a survey of 203 households in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, were examined. Child health is measured using anthropometric indicators such as weight-for-age, height-for-age, and weight-for-height (ZWFH). Three separate multinomial logistic models are regressed to examine the drivers of child health as proxied by z-score weight for age, z-score height for age, and z-score weight for height. The significance of input variables relating to a child’s attributes, household, and environment was validated by the findings. The inclusion of overweight besides under-nourished indexes is novel because it reflects the current trend of child over-nutrition. The findings of the study highlight the importance of a wide range of initiatives to enhance child health. Moreover, the genetic effect is found to be crowded out by environmental and household factors. The finding verifies that despite their parents’ moderate height, the future generation of Vietnamese can achieve the desired height.

The purpose of the study is to analyze the significant impacts of expectations, performance, complaints, and fairness that affect consumer satisfaction. The methodology involves reviewing and referencing relevant literature carefully, then proposing a model for customer satisfaction. This study is empirically based on a survey with 50 respondents who work in the field of import and export in the region stretching from the north to the south of Vietnam. The sampling method used in this study is the in-depth interview method. The results show that: (1) expectation has a specific impact on customer satisfaction, (2) performance has a positive impact on customer satisfaction, and (3) complaint which is an intermediary factor between expectation, performance, and fairness has an impact on satisfaction, (4) fairness has a positive effect on satisfaction, in addition, fairness is an extremely important feature when customers choose an import-export service. Research implies that increasing expectations, performance, and fairness results in an improved customer experience and satisfaction when they use the service. It is suggested that the complaint factor continue to be studied and looked into because it still has some effect on satisfaction and is an intermediate variable that changes how the other factors relate to each other.
Camber effect on the stability and power performance of a right-swing hydrofoil turbine
Nguyen Le Dang Hai,Le Tuyen Quang,Jeong Dasom,고진환 대한조선학회 2022 International Journal of Naval Architecture and Oc Vol.14 No.1
In this study, performance of a right-swing turbine with a cambered hydrofoil was analyzed by CFD numerical simulations to assess its stability and power efficiency. It is found from the analysis that the right-swing trajectory, which is close to the kinematics of flying or swimming creatures, has advantages over the left-swing trajectory in terms of stability with a slight loss of the power efficiency. A cambered hydrofoil can be utilized to offset this loss, but doing so negatively affects the stability at the turning positions of the flapping motion. Consequently, in order to guarantee stability and high efficiency of a right-swing hydrofoil turbine, camber shapes adjustable at the positions of flapping motion, which is an excellent feature of flight and swimming creatures, are mandatory. Eventually, the analysis results of this study will be utilized to develop a high-performance flapping hydrofoil turbine.

Learning a Self-driving Bicycle Using Deep Deterministic Policy Gradient
Tuyen P. Le,Nguyen Dang Quang,SeungYoon Choi,TaeChoong Chung 제어로봇시스템학회 2018 제어로봇시스템학회 국제학술대회 논문집 Vol.2018 No.10
This paper improves the method for learning a bicycle which can itself balance and go to any specified locations. The bicycle is controlled by a neural network policy which is learned by deep deterministic policy gradient algorithm (DDPG). We propose a procedure which allows the controller can be gradually learned until it can stably balance and lead the bicycle to any specified places.
Line Impedance Estimation Based Adaptive Droop Control Method for Parallel Inverters
Le, Phuong Minh,Pham, Xuan Hoa Thi,Nguyen, Huy Minh,Hoang, Duc Duy Vo,Nguyen, Tuyen Dinh,Vo, Dieu Ngoc The Korean Institute of Power Electronics 2018 JOURNAL OF POWER ELECTRONICS Vol.18 No.1
This paper presents a new load sharing control for use between paralleled three-phase inverters in an islanded microgrid based on the online line impedance estimation by the use of a Kalman filter. In this study, the mismatch of power sharing when the line impedance changes due to temperature, frequency, significant differences in line parameters and the requirements of the Plug-and-Play mode for inverters connected to a microgrid has been solved. In addition, this paper also presents a new droop control method working with the line impedance that is different from the traditional droop algorithm when the line impedance is assumed to be pure resistance or pure inductance. In this paper, the line impedance estimation for parallel inverters uses the minimum square method combined with a Kalman filter. In addition, the secondary control loops are designed to restore the voltage amplitude and frequency of a microgrid by using a combined nominal value SOGI-PLL with a generalized integral block and phase lock loop to monitor the exact voltage magnitude and frequency phase at the PCC. A control model has been simulated in Matlab/Simulink with three voltage source inverters connected in parallel for different ratios of power sharing. The simulation results demonstrate the accuracy of the proposed control method.

Tuyen, Nguyen Dinh,Phuong, Le Minh,Lee, Hong-Hee The Korean Institute of Power Electronics 2019 JOURNAL OF POWER ELECTRONICS Vol.19 No.4
In this paper, the three-level T-type neutral-point-clamped indirect matrix converter topology and the relative space vector modulation methods are introduced to improve the voltage transfer ratio and output voltage performance. The presented converter topology is based on combinations of cascaded-rectifier and three-level T-type neutral-point-clamp inverter. It can overcome the limitation of voltage transfer ratio of the conventional matrix converter and the high voltage rating of power switches of conventional matrix converter. Two SVPWM strategies for proposed converter are described in this paper to achieve the advantages features such as: sinusoidal input/output currents and three-level output voltage waveforms. Results from Psim 9.0 software simulation are provided to confirm the theoretical analysis. Hence, a laboratory prototype was implemented, and the experimental results are shown to validate the simulation results and to verify the effectiveness of the proposed topology and modulation strategies.

The vocational guidance and advising education enrollment are one of the most important tasks in the enrollment process and promote the quality and reputation of the University. Admissions counseling offices at Universities and Colleges play a major role in vocational guidance and advising education enrollment. However, the support of these units is limited by office hours, speed and advisory efficiency, and besides, handling and answering questions process may also encounter obstacles such as: overload, misinformation, problem with the transmission, language barriers, expressions, limited time, support resources,… Thus we decided to do research to understand this situation. Then creating a dataset supports vocational guidance and advising education enrollment activities. We also design and integrate chatbot into the school system to support the admissions counseling process.
