      • 콘크리트 지하철 구조물의 비선형 지진응답해석

        이종세,최준성,박균익 漢陽大學校 工學技術硏究所 2001 工學技術論文集 Vol.10 No.-

During the 1995 Hyogoken-Nanbu earthquake, underground RC structures experienced significant damages which had never been experienced before. To evaluate these damages, a linear earthquake response analysis in frequency domain has often been used. For more accurate evaluation of the damages, however, a nonlinear earthquake response analysis in time domain must be employed by incorporating she continuous change of stiffness and hysteresis damping of soil-structure interaction systems. In this study, a hybrid method which combines a soil-structure interaction program, KIESSI-2D with a general purpose FEM package, ANSYS is developed to perform nonlinear earthquake response analysis of soil-structure interaction in time domain. As a verification of the hybrid method, nonlinear earthquake response analyses are performed on the Kamisawa subway station which was damaged severely during the Kobe earthquake and analytical results are compared with the real damages. In order to consider the nonlinearity of soil, SHAKE program is used, whereas Hognestad model is used to consider the nonlinearity of concrete. It is shown that the analytical prediction agrees fairly well with the actual damages which were caused by the shear failure of the center column of the station.

      • A new record of the tribe Rhyparini Schmidt, 1910 (Coleoptera: Aphodiidae) from Korea, based on Rhyparus azumai azumai Nakane, 1956

        Ik Je Choi,Sang Su Kim,IL-Kwon Kim,Jong Kyun Park,Jinyoung Park,Nan Zarchi Win,Jongok Lim 한국응용곤충학회 2015 한국응용곤충학회 학술대회논문집 Vol.2015 No.04

Rhyparini is one of the tribes of well-known termitophilous scarabs included in Aphodiinae Leach, 1815. Several species of the tribe are known to live in association with termites, with both organisms occurring together in relatively large numbers. In extant numbers of this tribe, the larvae live inside termite nests. The tribe Rhyparini can be distinguished by the following combination of characters: clypeus usually bidentate though sometime feebly so, inflexed edge medially obtusely angulate; frons and vertex with tufts of setae or longitudinal tubercles; pronotum with six longitudinal costae equally spaced in at least posterior half of disc, lateral pronotal edge at least feebly bilobed in anterior half; elytra costae, costae varying on height, number and spacing, elytral apices frequently bulbous, epipleura narrow; posterior prosternal process hastate; antenna 9th segmented, club 3th segmented, segments of club short and compact. The tribe includes 77 species of 12 genera worldwide, and Pittino (2006) published a key to world genera in the subfamily Rhyparinae (tribe Rhyparini). In total, nine species of two genera in the tribe Rhyparini have been recorded in the Palaearctic region up to date: Rhyparus Westwood with eight species and Sybacodes Fairmaire one species, In Japan three species are known, China with one and Taiwan five. However, up to date, any has not been reported in Korea. In the present study we report on the tribe Rhyparini from Korea for the first time, based on Rhyparus azumaiazumai Nakane, 1956. Diagnosis and illustrations of detailed diagnostic characters, including male genitalia are provided.

        Ik Je CHOI,Jinyoung PARK,Yong Kyun OH,Eun Young CHOI,Dong Pyeo LYU,Jong Kyun PARK 한국응용곤충학회 2012 한국응용곤충학회 학술대회논문집 Vol.2012 No.05

Myanmar, which has a total area of 678,500 square kilometers (262,000 sq mi), is the largest country in mainland Southeast Asia, and the 40th-largest in the world. It lies between latitudes 9° and 29°N, and longitudes 92° and 102°E. Much of the country lies between the Tropic of Cancer and the Equator. It lies in the monsoon region of Asia, with its coastal regions receiving over 5,000 mm (196.6 in) of rain annually. Annual rainfall in the delta region is approximately 2,500 mm (98.4 in), while average annual rainfall in the Dry Zone, which is located in central Myanmar, is less than 1,000 mm (39.4 in). The average annual temperature is about 27℃(about 80℉). This expedition was conducted two times in two years (8.7~8.17, 2011; 2.2~2.9, 2012). As protected forest from government, these areas were almost natural conservation field. Pitfall trap, sweeping method, light trap and searching etc. were used to collect insect. As the result, totally about 30 families in Coleoptera was collected, among them Oodes species of Carabidae was highest number and species in Chrysomelidae, Cicindelodae, Scarabaeidae and Dynastidae etc., were collected. It was difficult to identification because of lack of references of this areas. Maybe lots of new or new recorded species will discover from Myanmar. Among Coleoptera species, with big sized beetles as the central figure, photos for species of dominant, rare, nominated species of new or new recorded were introduced, and also collecting sites and activities were presented.

      • Taxonomic Study of the Tribe Chlaeniini (Coleoptera: Carabidae) from Korea

        Ik Je CHOI,Jinyoung PARK,Bong Woo LEE,Shin Young PARK,Jong Kyun PARK 한국응용곤충학회 2014 한국응용곤충학회 학술대회논문집 Vol.2014 No.04

The present study was carried out to revise the species of Chlaeniini in Carabidae from South Korea, using both classic taxonomy and molecular analysis. Another aim is to decide the taxonomic position of Chlaenius micans Fabricius of which subgeneric status in the genus has been in question. As a part of the results, Chlaenius spathulifer Bates, 1873 was newly recognized to Korean insect fauna. With this new addition Korean Chlaeniini contains now in total 34 species and two genera. Molecular analyses using CO1 sequences of representative species for six subgenera in Chlaenius were conducted to determine the position of C. micans. The result of the analyses suggested that C. micans did not belong to the subgenus Achlaenius where C. micans had been doubtfully positioned despite distinct morphological differences from the other four species of the variicornis-group (C. sericimicans, C. variicornis, C. kurosawai and C. ocreatus) in the subgenus. This study provids a key to species, photos of adult habitus, photos of male genitalia and redescriptions of 28 Korean species in Chlaeniini.
