        This paper presents a fault location algorithm of a single phase-to-ground fault on a parallel transmission line which contains a teed circuit. The method uses only the local end voltage and current signals. Zero sequence currents of other lines are calculated by distribution factors. Instead of zero sequence current, negative sequence current is used to remove the effect of load current and to calculate the voltage of a fault resistance. There are three distance equations in this algorithm. One of them is to calculate inner part fault location without teed circuit and another equation is for outer part fault location without teed circuit and the other is to calculate inner part fault location with teed circuit. Correct fault distance is selected by the condition of each solution. Extensive simulation studies using EMTP have verified that the proposed algorithm can calculate an accurate fault distance in spite of effects of various error sources.

      • ATM망에서 축약 분산 기억 장치를 사용한 호 수락 제어(II)

        본 논문에서는 축약 분산 기억 장치(Sparse Distributed Memory, SDM)를 사용한 신경망 호 수락 제어(Call Admission Control, CAC)를 제시한다. 호 수락 제어는 ATM 망 트래픽 제어의 핵심 요소이다. 이것은 ATM 네트워크 환경의 다양한 변화와 빠른 변화에 적응적이어야 한다. 기존의 ATM 호 수락 제어 방식은 가능한 모든 망 분석을 요구한다. 따라서 최적의 설계는 어렵다. 최근 신경망 방식이 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위해서 도입되었다. 그러나 이것 역시 적응적 제어를 제공하지 않았다. 이것은 부가적인 학습 데이터 테이블과 학습 기간을 요구하였기 때문이다. 우리는 CAC 기능 구현에 더 현실적인 SDM을 기반으로 한 신경망 호 수락 제어 방법을 제안하고, 이것을 기존의 신경망 호 수락 제어 방법과 비교했다. 제안된 방식은 급격한 변화에 적응적인 호 수락 제어를 제공한다. 실험 결과 SDM은 별도의 학습 테이블과 싸이클을 필요로 하지 않아, 빠른 적응력과 안정성을 가짐을 확인할 수 있었다. In this paper, we propose a Neural Call Admission Control(CAC) method using a Sparse Distributed Memory(SDM). CAC is a key technology of ATM network traffic control. It should be adaptable to the rapid and various changes of the ATM network environment. Conventional approach to the ATM CAC requires network analysis in detail in all cases. So, the optimal implementation is said to be very difficult. Therefore, neural approach have recently been employed. However, it does not meet the adaptability requirements. Because it requires additional learning data tagles and learning phase during CAC operation. We have proposed a neural network CAC method based on SDM that is more actual than conventional approach to apply it to CAC. We compared it with previous neural network CAC method. It provides CAC with good adaptability to manage changes. Experimental results show that it has rapid adaptbility and stability without additional learning table or learning phase.

        젊은 성인에서 신체 만족도에 따른 문제해결양식, 대인관계문제와 우울증상과 자살사고와의 관련성

        Objectives:The aim of this study was to evaluate that problem solving styles, interpersonal problems, depression and suicidal ideation according to body image satisfaction. Methods:One hundred and nineteen young healthy normal subjects filled out administered the Body Dysmorphic Disorder Examination-Self Report (Korean version of BDDE-SR K-BDDE-SR), Problem Solving Style Scale(Korean version PSS), Korean Inventory of Interpersonal Problem(KIIP), Korean version of the Depression Anxiety Stress Scale(KDASS-21), Korean version of Beck Scale for Suicidal Ideation(Korean version SSI) and Korean version of Reynolds Suicidal Ideation Questionnaire(Korean version SIQ) for a month. Results:Out of the 119 subjects, 39%(N=46) was male and 61%(N=73) was female. In high K-BDDE-SR group (higher than 67), helplessness was significantly higher than low K-BDDE-SR group(lower than 67), and problem-solving confidence, creative style, approach style were significantly lower than low K-BDDE-SR group. Also, Higher level of all KIIP factors in High K-BDDE-SR group was significantly differ than low K-BDDE-SR group. In High K-BDDE-SR group, K-DASS-21, SSI, and SIQ were significantly higher than low K-BDDE-SR group. Using multiple regression analysis contributing variance toward the total factor score of K-BDDE-SR of participants were K-DASS-21 and SIQ. Conclusion:Our results indicates that high tendency of dissatisfied body images have differences in helplessness, problem-solving confidence, approach style, interpersonal problems, depression and suicidal ideation compared to low tendency of dissatisfied body images. It is necessary to study body dysmorphic disorder patients group in the future.

      • 심해 상어 간유에 의한 지방성 폐렴 2례

        외인성 지방성 폐렴은 1925년 Laughlen에 의하여 처음으로 기술되었으며, 우리나라에서도 소아에서 다수가 보고되었다. 이 지방성 폐렴은 지방성 물질을 흡인 또는 흡입함으로서 쉽게 발생하며 임상적으로 질식, 빈호흡, 호흡곤란, 세균감염의 합병 및 성장 장애 등을 특징으로 한다. 방사선학적 소견으로는 병변의 부위는 환자의 자세와 투약 형태에 따라 드물며 광유 흡인에 의한 경우 종속 위치에서 기름을 비점적 흡인한 경우에 좀 더 광범위하게 분포를 하게되며 가장 잘 침범되는 부위는 우측 폐 하엽의 내측 분절과 심폐 분절 등이고 중력 의존적(gravity-dependent) 침윤에서부터 무기폐에 이르기까지 다양하게 나타난다. 예후는 침범된 병변의 부위, 환자의 전신상태 및 감염의 합병에 따라 다양하며 지방성 폐렴에 대한 특별한 치료가 없기 때문에 예방이 최선의 방법이다. 저자들은 심해 상어 간유 복용후 발생한 지방성 폐렴 2례를 경험하였다. 증례 1은 5개월된 남아로서 입원 당시 흉벽 함몰, 빈호흡을 호소하였고, 흉부 X선 촬영상 양폐야의 침윤을 나타내었고, 약 10개월 후에 실시한 흉부 X선 추적검사에서 병변은 여전히 남아있었다. 증례 2는 15개월된 여아로서 입원당시 잦은 상기도 감염, 발열 및 위식도 역류에 의한 성장 장애를 나타내었고, 흉부 X선 촬영상 양폐야의 침윤을 보였고, 약 9개월 후에 실시한 흉부 X선 추적검사에서 병변은 많이 호전되었다. 저자들은 심해 상어 간유에 의한 지방성 폐렴 2례를 경험하였기에 문헌고찰과 함께 보고하는 바이다. Exogenous lipoid pneumonia was first described by Laughlen in 1925 and a few cases of the pneumonia were reported during childhood in our country. It can be easily developed by the aspiration of lipoid substance through the airway. It is characterized by choke, tachypnea, chest retraction, dyspnea, superimposed bacterial infection and growth retardation. Roentgenographically the appearance is very diversed from gravity-dependent infiltration to atelectasis. The prognosis is also diversed according to the degree of involved lision, the general condition of the patients, and the superimposed infections. There's no specific treatment of lipoid peumonia. Therefore, prevention is the most important treatment. We experienced the two cases of exogenous lipoid pneumonia occurred shortly after having several capsules of the deepsea-shark-liveroil(Squalene). In the first case the 5-month-old male infant suffered from chest retraction and tachynea and the patchy and streaky infiltration of the both lung fields on the chest X-ray was revealed at the admission time. About 10 months later the lesion was remained reentgenographically. In the second case the 15-month-old female patient suffered from frequent upper respiratory infections, mild to moderate fever, and failure to thrive probably due to gastroesphageal reflusx. The chest X-ray was similar to the first case, but the lesion is nearly clear about 9 months after the discharge. We report two cases of lipoid pneumonia with brief review of relevant literature.

      • 신경회로망 제어기를 이용한 PID 파라미터 추정에 관한 연구

        In this paper, supposed to solve these problem to PID parameters controller algorithm using ANN. In the proposed algorithm, the parameters of the controller were adjusted to reduce by on-line system the error of the speed of IM. In this process, EBPA NN was constituted to an output error value of an IM and conspired an input and output. The performance of the self-tuning controller is compared with that of the PH) controller tuned by conventional method (Ziehler-Nichols). The effectiveness of the proposed control method is verified thought the Matlab Simulink and experimental results.

      • 기체크로마토그래피/질량분석기에 의한 수질시료 중 4-니트로톨루엔의 분석법 연구

        Analytical method of 4-nitrotoluene (4-NT) in water was developed by gas chromatography/mass selective detector/selected ion monitoring (GUMMSIM). 4-NT was extracted with diethyl ether. Organic layer was washed with 5 % sodium chloride solution. The influence of solvent and evaporation condition on extraction of 4-NT were examined. The retention time of 4-NT peak was 7.72 min. Coefficient of variation (CV) of 4-NT (ng) within day and day-to-day was ranged from 7.0 to14.6% and from 7.7 to 20.8%, respectively. Recovery of 4-NT was ranged from 84 to 109%, and detection limit of 4-NT was less than 1 ng/ml.

        The cytotoxic T lymphocyte (CTL) are an important component in host defense mechanism against viral infection. They can recongnize virus-derived peptides presented by the Class I MHC molecule at the cell surface of the infected cells. On searching for effective CTL epitopes of hepatitis B virus(HBV), we synthesized a distinct set of 9-10 mer peptide containing amino acid sequence of hepatitis B virus surface protein that are selected on the basis of a computer modeling and the previously described HLA-A2 specific motifs.Binding assay of the synthetic peptides to HLA-A2 molecules using human antigen processing defectant T2 cells showed that 3 out of 4 synthetic peptides enhanced the expression of HLA-A2 molecule on T2 cell surface.Two anchor positions, namely P2 and P9(or P10) appeared to play a decisive role for binding.Structural. characteristics of the peptides addressed by molecular dynamics simulation was analysed and compared.These peptides also partially triggered CTL isolated from human peripheral blood mononuclear cells of HBV positive patients, and the response was peptide-spcific.These results showed that negatively-charged amino acid residue at P2 hampered binding affinity of the peptides to HLA-A2 molecules, and that binding affinity of the peptides are not always reflected by their immunogenicity among natural T cell repertoire.

      • 김치식이가 흰쥐의 항산화시스템에 미치는 영향

        김치는 배추를 주재료로 하여 마늘, 고추, 생강 등의 양념류를 포함하는 여러 재료들로 만들어지며 이들 재료 중에는 항산화효과를 가진 것으로 알려진 성분들이 많이 함유되어 있어 김치도 항산화효과를 나타낼 것으로 여겨진다. In vitro 실험계 및 세포 모델계에서 김치 재료 및 김치의 항산화효과는 확인된바 있으나 In vivo 시스템에서의 김치의 항산화효과에 관한 자료는 부족하다. 따라서 본 실험에서는 김치 섭취의 생체 내 항산화효과를 규명하기 위하여 흰쥐에게 동결건조한 김치 3, 5, 10% 첨가 식이를 6주간 섭취시키면서 간조직의 산화와 항산화효소계의 활성을 측정하였다. 간의 MDA 함량은 대조군에 비해 김치 투여군에서 낮았고 특히 5% 김치섭취군에서 현저히 낮은 값을 나타내었다. 단백질 산화를 나타내는 카르보닐 함량도 대조군에 비해 김치섭취군에서 낮아 생체 내에서 김치식이가 과산화물 생성 억제효과를 나타내었다. 항산화 효소계의 활성을 측정한 결과 SOD 활성은 대조군에 비해 김치섭취군에서 현저하게 높았고 김치첨가 함량이 증가할수록 SOD 활성이 유의적으로 높아져 10% 김치섭취군에서는 대조군에 비해 70% 이상 높은 활성을 나타내었다. Catalase 활성은 각 군에서 유의적인 차이가 나타나지 않았으나 GSH-px의 활성은 김치 섭취가 높을수록 상대적으로 높은 증가율을 나타내어 SOD 활성과 동일한 경향을 나타내었다. 따라서 김치식이는 생체 내에서 치질 및 단백질 과산화를 현저하게 억제하였고 항산화효소계인 SOD와 GSH-px의 활성을 농도의존적으로 증진시켜 김치식이가 체내의 산화적 스트레스를 효과적으로 억제하는데 기여함을 알 수 있었다. Kimchi is a Kruean traditional fermented food containing various ingredients such as Chinese cabbage, garlic, ginger, red pepper and fish sauce. Some of their components were known as its antioxidative activities and antioxidative effects of kimchi have been studied using in vitro and cell model system. To investigate the antioxidative effect of dietary kimchi, 4 groups of male S.D. rats (n=36) were fed 0, 3%, 5%, and 10% freeze-dried kimchi for 6 weeks and hepatic lipid peroxidation, protein oxidation and the activities of antioxidative enzymes were measured. Hepatic MDA content fed kimchi diet was lower than control diet. Protein carbonyl values were decreased in kimchi diet group, but not significant. SOD activities were significantly increased in kimchi added groups at dose-dependent manner. At 10% kimchi added group, SOD activity increased by 70% compared with control diet group. Catalase activities were not different between experimental groups and control group, whereas GSH-px activities were significantly increased in kimchi added group. As a result kimchi diet inhibited lipid and protein oxidation and induced antioxidative enzymes, SOD and GSH-px in rat hepatic tissue. It suggests that dietary kimchi is expected to prevent the oxidative stress in animal and human.
