        사고 현장 실시간 실내 인명 위치확인 및 구조대응 연구

        본 연구는 스마트폰 Wi-Fi AP를 이용한 건축물내 구조대상자 위치정보 수집을 통해서 사고 현장대응에 활용할 수 있는 방안을 제안하고 그 효용성에 대해 분석하였다. 8개 건축물 지점에서 평균 30회 이상 Wi-Fi AP 네이밍 위치 확인 및 전파세기를 측정하도록 위치 측위 서버에 요청하고, 수신된 측위 결과 좌표값을 분석하는 방식으로 위치정보의 정확도와 오차범위를 확인하였다. 기존 기지국 기반 위치 오차값 263m에 대비해 최대 93% 이상 범위를 축소할 수 있었고, 8개 지점의 최소‧최대 오차값은 4.137m ~ 14.037m, 평균오차는 9.525m로 확인되었다. 위치정보 유무에 따라 인명구조에 소요되는 시간을 3가지 상황에 대해 비교한 결과, 화재진압 및 인명구조에 소요되는 측정시간 결과는 위치정보가 정확하게 소방대원에게 제공되었을 경우 구조 활동에 소요되는 시간이 10분 50초로 나타났으나, 위치정보가 전혀 없는 경우 45분 이상 소요되었다. 스마트폰 Wi-Fi AP을 이용하여 건축물 내 구조대상자 위치정보를 정확하게 구조대원에게 제공함을 통해, 사고 현장에서 탐색에 소요되는 시간을 단축시킴으로써, 인명구조 및 골든타임 확보에 제안 시스템이 효과적인 것으로 분석되었다. In this study, the on-site location identification and response system was proposed by accurately checking the location information of rescue requesters in the buildings using the smartphone Wi-Fi AP. The location server was requested to measure the strength of the Wi-Fi AP at least 25 times at 8 different building location points. And the accuracy of the position and the error range were checked by analyzing the coordinate values of the received positions. In addition, the response time was measured by changing the conditions of location information in three groups to compare the response time for saving lives with and without location information. The minimum and maximum error values for the eight cases were found to be at least 4.137 m and up to 14.037 m, respectively, with an average error of 9.525 m. Compared to the base transceiver station (BTS) based position error value of 263m, the range could be reduced by up to 93%. When the location information was given, it took 10 minutes and 50 seconds to save lives; however, when there was no location information at all, rescue process took more than 45 minutes. From this research effort, it was analyzed that the acquisition of the location information of rescuees in the building using the smartphone Wi-Fi AP approach is effective in reducing the life-saving time for on-site responses.

        출연(연)의 전략적 성과관리체계

        정부출연연구기관의 성과는 연구부문과 경영부문에서 다양한 수준과 내용으로 나타나고 성과에 대한 평가와 관리는 내․외부적으로 분산적이고 중첩적으로 이루어져왔다. 한편 최근 정부출연연구기관의 성과 관리를 둘러싼 정부 정책의 변화 및 정부출연연구기관 내부 성과관리 방식의 변화 노력은 기존의 연구개발 성과관리 패러다임을 크게 바꾸고 있다는 측면에서 주목할 만하다. 하지만 여전히 성과관리를 둘러싼 부처별정책과 제도의 부정합성이 여전하며 정부출연연구기관 내부의 성과관리도 보다 전략적이고 체계적으로 이루어질 필요성이 커지고 있다. 한국화학연구원은 정부출연연구기관을 둘러싼 외부 환경과 정책 패러다임의 변화에주목하면서 개인 평가 제도를 조직성과제도와 연계하고 과제 수주 중심에서 과제 및부서별 성과 창출 중심으로, 양적 성과 중심에서 질적 성과 중심으로 혁신적으로 바꾸며 전략적으로 체계화하였다. 본 연구는 한국화학연구원의 사례를 소개함으로써 정부출연연구기관의 성과관리가 어떻게 정책패러다임의 변화에 조응하면서 전략적이고 체계적으로 변화 발전해야하는지에 대한 시사점을 도출하는데 목적이 있다. Performance of government-sponsored research institutes can be shown in varied ways through research and management sectors. And its dispersive and duplicative evaluation and management has been carried out internally and externally. In the meanwhile, recent government policy changes with regards to the performance management of government-sponsored research institutes. Internal efforts for changes inside those institutes should be paid attention to in a sense that such movements are leading big changes in the existing paradigm of R&D performance management. However, there still exists unconformity in policies and systems between different governmental organizations. And internal performance management in government-sponsored research institutes should be conducted in a more strategic and systematic way. Taking such changes in external circumstance and policy paradigm into account, Korea Research Institute of Chemical Technology(KRICT) strategically streamlined its personnel performance evaluation system by putting more weight on performance and competency rather than project volume and quantity. This study, by illustrating a case of KRICT,aims to suggest how government- sponsored research institutes should change and progress its performance manage system in a strategic and systematic way while adjusting themselves to a changing paradigm of policy.

      • Analysis of enhanced hole transport in naphthalene dicarboxyimide (NDI)-based n-type polymer field-effect transistors using solution-processed reduced graphene oxide electrodes

        <P><B>Abstract</B></P> <P>In this study, organic field-effect transistors (OFETs) using a naphthalene dicarboxamide (NDI)-based n-type semiconducting polymer and electrodes comprising either Au or reduced graphene oxide (rGO) were fabricated. Compared with those with Au electrodes, transistors with rGO electrodes exhibited enhanced hole transport characteristics. The analysis of the interaction between the NDI-based polymer and the two electrodes revealed satisfactory hole transport in terms of device performance with the rGO electrode despite the less favorable work function for the injection of holes into the polymer semiconductor, corresponding to the formation of interfacial dipoles of different magnitudes. The electron orbital structure of the rGO electrode induced a smaller shift by the dipole moment at the interface between the electrode and semiconductor compared with that induced by the electron orbital structure of the gold electrode to promote ambipolarity. In both cases, energy barriers for the injection of charge at the interface were determined by ultraviolet photoelectron spectroscopy and Kelvin probe force microscopy analysis.         차이브를 첨가한 홈 메이드 파스타 제조의 최적화

        To determine the optimum mixing conditions of home made pasta with chives, samples were prepared with various compounding ratios of Durum wheat semolina (99, 198 and 297g), chive paste (27, 45 and 63g) and egg (72, 81 and 90g) using a central composite design, and sensory evaluations were performed and considered using a response surface methodology. The optimum mixing rates of Durum wheat semolina, chive paste and egg were 191.10, 45.53 and 80.98g for color, 149.00, 47.00 and 73.24g for flavor, 185.06, 43.99 and 81.18g for elasticity, and 188.69, 42.32 and 82.36g for overall quality. These results show that Chive paste effect the color and flavor, and Durum wheat semolina and egg effect the elasticity and overall quality.

        The usefulness of cystatin C as a prognostic predictor in patients with heart failure admitted to the emergency department

        Objective: This study evaluated the usefulness of cystatin C as a prognostic predictor in heart failure patients admitted to the emergency department. Methods: This study was conducted retrospectively on patients with heart failure admitted to the emergency department between January and December 2018. Patients newly and previously diagnosed with heart failure underwent both N-terminal prohormone of brain natriuretic peptide and cystatin C tests. To assess the patients’ prognosis, a poor prognosis was defined as the occurrence of one or more of the following events: intubation, admission to an intensive care unit, coronary angiography, continuous renal replacement therapy, extracorporeal membrane oxygenation, cardiopulmonary resuscitation, and death. The patients were divided into two groups based on the occurrence of these events; the characteristics between the groups with and without events were compared. Results: Seventy-four patients were included in the study analysis: 35 and 39 in the group without and with events, respectively. The number of patients with a history of diabetes, hypertension, troponin T, and cystatin C levels were significantly higher in the group with events than in the group without events (P=0.028, P=0.041, P<0.001, and P=0.002, respectively). Multiple logistic regression analyses showed that cystatin C is a significant prognostic predictor of events. Conclusion: An increased cystatin C level has been shown to clinically predict a poor prognosis of heart failure patients admitted to emergency departments.

        본 연구는 LCD 패널에서 시청모드별 사용자의 피로도 차이에 대한 연구이다. LCD 사용에 따른 사용자 피로도에 미치는 영향이 보고되고 있는 것을 감안하여 감성 공학적 방법을 이용하여 시청모드에 따른 사용자 피로도 차이를 분석하였다. 실험은 34명의 대학생을 두 그룹으로 나누어서 같은 동영상 조건에서 각각 영화모드와 표준모드를 60분간 시청하게 하였다. 시청 시의 피로도를 알아보기 위해 생리신호 반응(GSR, PPG, SKT), 눈 움직임(동공의 확대 축소속도, 눈 깜빡임률) 및 주관적 피로도(긴장도, 쾌적도, 피로도)를 측정하였다. 그 결과 주관적인 평가와 생리 반응에서 영화모드가 표준모드보다 더 피로감을 유발시키는 것을 확인 할 수 있었다. 눈 움직임 반응에서는 통계적으로 유의한 결과를 얻지 못하였다.

      • Motor Imagery Classification Using Mu and Beta Rhythms of EEG with Strong Uncorrelating Transform Based Complex Common Spatial Patterns

        <P>Recent studies have demonstrated the disassociation between the mu and beta rhythms of electroencephalogram (EEG) during motor imagery tasks. The proposed algorithm in this paper uses a fully data-driven multivariate empirical mode decomposition (MEMD) in order to obtain the mu and beta rhythms from the nonlinear EEG signals. Then, the strong uncorrelating transform complex common spatial patterns (SUTCCSP) algorithm is applied to the rhythms so that the complex data, constructed with the mu and beta rhythms, becomes uncorrelated and its pseudocovariance provides supplementary power difference information between the two rhythms. The extracted features using SUTCCSP that maximize the interclass variances are classified using various classification algorithms for the separation of the left- and right-hand motor imagery EEG acquired from the Physionet database. This paper shows that the supplementary information of the power difference between mu and beta rhythms obtained using SUTCCSP provides an important feature for the classification of the left- and right-hand motor imagery tasks. In addition, MEMD is proved to be a preferred preprocessing method for the nonlinear and nonstationary EEG signals compared to the conventional IIR filtering. Finally, the random forest classifier yielded a high performance for the classification of the motor imagery tasks.</P>

        Action Recognition Model to Monitor Illegal Dumping using Zoom-In Image Sequence Data

        In this study, we propose an action recognition model that provides generalized performance regardless of camera location and distance between the camera and human. The proposed model consists of two-stage networks, namely, human detection and action recognition. The proposed method operates on video frames that are resized by a new zoom-in method using pretrained Yolo v3. To use temporal information, which is regarded as a critical factor in action recognition, we adopt the R(2+1)D model, which is a factorized model capable of representing more complex networks. The proposed Zoom-In method yields generalized performance regardless of distance. In an experiment, the proposed method exhibited accuracies of 96.07%, 96.61%, and 94.55% in the short, medium, and long ranges in which our datasets were employed, respectively.

        A Study on the Terminological Heterogeneity in Chemistry between South and North Korea

        Since the division of South and North Korea in 1945, there has been little exchange in science and technology, despite some interchange in a few fields including the chemistry area. Accordingly, the difference in scientific and technological terminology between the two Koreas has become intensified. This is because North Korea carried out a campaign to purify the Korean language and blocked the inflow of foreign words. They also tried to convert into their own North Korean terms in many fields. This circumstance in North Korea aggravated the heterogeneity of inter-Korean scientific and technological terms. In particular, the heterogeneity of chemical terminology has worsened due to the different characteristics of the technology donor countries such as the United States and Japan in South Korea, and China and the Soviet Union in North Korea between the two Koreas and the different way of technological development. The purpose of this study is to collect chemical terminology data used in two Koreas and analyze similarities and differences. Through comparative analysis of inter-Korean terminology in the chemical field, it can be possible to recognize how the chemical terms between the two Koreas have changed since the division and the degree of heterogeneity based on different technical systems and language policies. The outcome of this study would present basic data on the unification of chemical terminology in preparation for before and after unification, and contribute to communication and academic exchange between researchers in the inter-Korean scientific and technological fields, including chemistry.

        Myofascial Orofacial Pain Exacerbated after Masseteric Nerve Neurectomy

        Myofascial pain (MFP) is one of the most common causes of persistent orofacial pain. Patients with chronic myofascial orofacial pain may present with diffuse heterotopic pain, complicating the correct diagnosis. Treatment of chronic MFP should focus on the elimination of aetiologic factors. This article describes two cases of chronic MFP of the masticatory muscles, whose symptoms were exacerbated after masseteric nerve neurectomy. The patients had suffered from irrelevant treatment which did not resolve the symptom. Their symptom was managed by conventional treatment protocol. These cases emphasize the importance of correct diagnosis and evidence-based approach.
