      • Flangeless Esser PET Phantom 영상 자동 분석 프로그램의 유용성 평가

        Purpose: ACR (American College of Radiology) offers variable parameters to PET/CT quality control by using ACR Phantom. ACR Phantom was made to evaluate parameters which are uniformity, attenuation, scatter, contrast and resolution. Manual analysis method wasn't good for the use of QC because values of parameter were changed as it may user and it takes long time to analysis. Ki-Chun Lim, a nuclear scientist in AMC, developed program that automatically analysis values of parameter by using ACR Phantom to overcome above problems. In this study, we evaluated automatic analysis program's usability, through the comparing SUV of each method, reproducibility of SUV when repeated analysis and the time required. Materials and Methods: Using Flangeless Esser PET Phantom, the ideal ratio of 4 : 1 hot cylinder and BKG but it actually showed a ratio of 3.89 to 1 hot cylinder and BKG. SIEMENS Biograph True Point 40 was used in this study. We obtained images using ACR phantom at Fusion WB PET Scan condition (2 min/bed) and 120 kV, 100 mAs CT condition. Using True X method, 3 iterations, 14 subsets, Gaussian filter, FWHM 4 mm and Zoom Factor 1.0, $168{\times}168$ image size. We obtained Max. & Min. SUV and SUV Mean values at Cylinder (8, 12, 16, 25 mm, Air, Bone, Water, BKG) by automatic program and obtained SUV by manual method. After that, we compared manual and automatic method. we estimate the time required from opened the image data to final work sheet was completed. Results: Automatic program always showed same result and same the time required. At 8, 12, 16 and 25 m cylinder, manual method showed 6.69, 3.46, 2.59, 1.24 CV values. The larger cylinder size became, the smaller CV became. In manual method, bone, air, water's CV were over 9.9 except BKG (2.32). Obtained CV of Mean SUV showed BKG was low (0.85) and bone was high (7.52). The time required was 45 second, 882 second respectably. Conclusions: As a result of difference automatic method and manual method, automatic method showed always same result, manual method showed that the smaller hot cylinders became, the lager CV became. Hot cylinders mean region size, the smaller hot cylinder size becomes we had some trouble in doing ROI poison setting. And it means increase in variation of SUV. The Study showed the time required of automatic method was shorten then manual method.

        니트로글리세린 투여 Tc-99m-MIBI 정량 게이트 심근SPECT를 이용한 관상동맥우회로술 후 심근 기능 회복 예측

        목적: 생존심근 진단에 있어 니트로글리세린 투여 Tc-99m-MIBI 게이트 심근SPECT의 진단성능을 휴식/지연재분포 Tl-201 심근SPECT와 비교하였다. 대상 및 방법: 22명의 관상동맥질환에서 Tl-201휴식/디피리다몰 부하 Tc-99m-MIBi 게이트/ 지연재분포 Tl-201 심근SPECT를 시행하였다. 이 때 게이트SPECT 시행 후 니트로글리세린 0.6mg을 설하 투여하고 연이어 그 자리에서 게이트 SPECT를 1회 더 반복 시행하였다. 환자들에서 관상동맥우회로술을 시행하고 3개월 후 게이트 심근SPECT를 추적검사로 시행하였다. 20 분절 모델을 이용하여 각 분절에서 휴식, 지연재분포, 기저상태와 니트로글리세린 투여 후의 심벽운동 및 수축기비후화 등을 정량하였다. 정량화된 생존심근 예측지표들 중, (1) 휴식기 Tl-201 섭취, (2) Tl-201 지연재분포, (3) 기저상태의 수축기비후화, (4) 니트로글리세린 투여 후의 수축기비후화, 네 가지의 예측성능을 평가하고 비교하였다. 결과: 총 100개의 분절이 분석에 포함되었으며, 이 중 66개(66%)의 분절이 재관류 후 기능 회복을 보였다. 최적 기준점인 50%를 기준으로 하였을 때, ROC 곡선 분석에서 휴식기 Tl-201 섭취와 Tl-201 지연재분포의 민감도, 특이도는 각각 79%와 44%, 그리고 82%와 44%였다. 또한 15%를 기준으로 하여, 기저상태 수축기비후화와 니트로글리세린 투여후 수축기비후화의 민감도, 특이도는, 각각 49%, 50%와 64%, 65%였다. ROC 곡선의 AUC는 니트로글리세린 투여 후 수축기비후화가 기저시 수축기비후화에 비하여 유의하게 높았다(p=0.004). 결론: 니트로글리세린 투여 Tc-99m-MIBI 정량적 게이트 심근SPECT는 기능이상 심근에서 기능 회복을 예측하는데 유용한 검사이다. The performance of nitroglycerin-challenged Tc-99m-MIBI quantitative gated SPECT for the detection of viable myocardium was compared with rest/ 24-hour redistribution TI-201 SPECT. Materials and Methods: In 22 patients with coronary artery disease, rest Tl-201/ dipyridamole stress Tc-99m-MIBI gated/ 24-hour redistribution TI-201 SPECT were performed, and gated SPECT was repeated on-site after sublingual administration of nitroglycerin (0.6 mg). Follow-up gated SPECT was done 3 months after coronary artery bypass graft surgery. For 20 segments per patient, perfusion at rest and 24-hour redistribution, and wall motion and thickening at baseline and nitroglycerin-challenged state were quantified. Quantitative viability markers were evaluated and compared;(1) rest thallium uptake, (2) thallium uptake on 24-hour redistribution SPECT, (3) systolic wall thickening at baseline, and (4) systolic wall thickening with nitroglycerin-challenge. Results: Among 100 revascularized dysfunctional segments, wall motion improved in 66 segments (66%) on follow-up gated myocardial SPECT after bypass surgery. On receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve analysis, the sensitivity and specificity of rest and 24-hour delayed redistribution TI-201 SPECT were 79%, 44% and 82%, 44%, respectively, at the optimal cutoff value of 50% of Tl-201 uptake. The sensitivity and specificity of systolic wall thickening at baseline and nitroglycerin-challenge were 49%, 50% and 64%, 65% at the optimal cutoff value of 15% of systolic wall thickening. Area under the ROC curve of nitroglycerin-challenged systolic wall thickening was significantly larger than that of baseline systolic wall thickening (p=0.004). Conclusion: Nitroglycerin-challenged quantitative gated Tc-99m-MIBI SPECT was a useful method for predicting functional recovery of dysfunctional myocardium.

        Effect of button mushroom compost on mobilization of heavy metals by sunflower

        The potential ability of Button mushroom compost (BMC) to solubilize heavy metals was estimated with metal contaminated soils collected from abandoned mines of Boryeong area in South Korea. The bacterial strains in BMC were isolated for investigating the mobilization of metals in soil or plant by the strains and identified according to 16S rRNA gene sequence analysis. When metal solubilization potential of BMC was assessed in a batch experiment, the BMC was found to be capable of solubilizing metals in the presence of metals (Co, Pb and Zn) and the results showed that inoculation of BMC could increase the concentrations of water soluble Co, Pb and Cd by 35, 25 and 45% respectively, than those of non-inoculated soils. BMC-assisted growth promotion and metal uptake in sunflower (Helianthus annuus) was also evaluated in a pot experiment. In comparison with non-inoculated seedlings, the inoculation led to increase the growth of H. annuus by 27, 25 and 28% respectively in Co, Pb and Zn contaminated soils. Moreover, enhanced accumulation of Co, Pb and Zn in the shoot and root systems was observed in inoculated plants, where metal translocation from root to the above-ground tissues was also found to be enhanced by the BMC. The apparent results suggested that the BMC could effectively be employed in enhancing phytoextraction of Co, Pb and Zn from contaminated soils.

        울릉도 미역고사리(Polypodium vulgare L.) 자생지의 입지환경특성

        본 연구는 희귀식물로 지정되어 있는 울릉도 미역고사리의 자생지 환경을 조사하여 보전 및 복원 시 기초자료를 제공하고자 하였다. 조사결과 미역고사리의 자생지는 해발고도 410~748m 범위와 경사 12~80°의 암석지에 주로 생육하는 것으로 조사되었다. 식생분석결과 4개 지역의 10개 방형구내에서 조사된 관속식물은 총 66분류군이었다. 자생지 상층수목 중 교목층의 중요치는 고로쇠나무(49.52%)가 아교목층은 당마가목(28.99%)이 가장 높았으며, 관목층은 바위수국(51.99%), 섬쥐똥나무(8.82%), 너도밤나무(7.25%)가 높은 값을 보였다. 초본층은 미역고사리가 23.23%로 가장 높았으며, 다음으로는 큰두루미꽃(9.65%), 파리풀(9.23%), 관중(8.40%), 산꼬리사초(6.75%), 섬바디(5.42%) 등이 높은 값을 보여 이 종류들이 친화도가 높은 것으로 판단된다. 종다양도는 1.18로 산출되었으며, 우점도와 균등도는 각각 0.11와 0.84로 확인되었다. 토양분석 결과 토성은 사양토로 나타났으며, 포장용수량은 30.42%, 유기물함량은 17.95%, pH는 4.70으로 측정되었다. 환경특성과 식생 및 토양분석 결과에 기초한 상관분석에서는 종다양도와 종풍부도는 정의 상관관계를 보였고, 종다양도와 우점도 그리고 미역고사리의 피도와 종풍부도는 부의상관관계를 형성하였다. The habitats characteristics of Polypodium vulgare L. in Ulleung-do were investigated to compile basic data for conservation and restoration. Natural habitats were located at altitudes of 410~748m with inclinations of 12~80°. Sixty six vascular plants were identified from 10 quadrats in 4 habitats. Dominant species among the woody plants, based on importance value, were Acer pictum subsp. mono(49.52%) in the tree (T1) layer, Sorbus amurensis(28.99%) in the subtree (T2) and Schizophragma hydrangeoides(51.99%), Ligustrum foliosum(8.82%), Fagus engleriana(7.25%) in the shrub (S) layer. Importance value for members of the herb (H) layer were as follows: Polypodium vulgare 23.23%; Maianthemum dilatatum 9.65%; Phryma leptostachya var. asiatica 9.23%; Dryopteris crassirhizoma 8.40%; Carex shimidzensis 6.75% and Dystaenia takesimana 5.42%. The importance value of the last five species were high, so they were at affinity with Polypodium vulgare in their habitats. Species diversity was 1.18, and dominance and evenness were found to be 0.11 and 0.84, respectively. The soil types were sandy loam. Average field capacity was 30.42%, and the organic matter and pH were 17.95%, and 4.70. Correlation coefficients based on environmental factors, vegetation and soil analysis were showed that positive correlations between species diversity and species richness, whereas between species diversity and dominance, coverage of Polypodium vulgare and species richness were showed negative correlations.

        동강할미꽃 자생지의 환경 및 생태적 특성

        동강할미꽃 자생지(백운산, 마하리, 귤암리와 덕항산)의 환경특성을 파악하기 위하여 환경요인, 식생 및 토양분석을 실시하였다. 동강할미꽂 자생지는 해발 220-772 m에 위치하고, 경사는 41-85˚로 다양하였으며, 주로 북서사변에 분포하였다. 식생분석결과 10개 방형구내에서 조사된 분류군은 총 27종류였다. 중요치는 동강할미꽂이 9.65%였으며, 산거울(28.93%), 돌양지꽃(l6.55%), 돌단풍(7.09%), 기름나물과 그령(4.55%), 큰네잎갈퀴(3.90%) 등 6종류는 중요치가 높게 나타나 이 분류군들은 동강할미꽃과 친화도가 높은 것으로 생각된다. 종다양도는 평균 0.75이었고 우점도와 균등도는 각각 0.24와 0.85로 나타났다. 토양의 포장용수량은 평균 19.05%이었으며, 유기물 함량은 10.51%로 나타났고, pH는 7.43으로 자생지간에 비슷하게 나타났다. This is a study intended to investigate the environmental factors including vegetation and soil in order to better understand the environmental and ecological characteristics of four different habitats of Pulsatilla tongkangensis (Mt. Baekun, Maha-ri, Kyulam-ri and Mt. Deokhang). These habitats, according to investigations, are mostly located on the slopes of mountains facing northwest at an altitude of 220m to 772m above sea level with angles of inclination ranging from 41 degree to 85 degree. A total of 27 vascular plant taxa are identified in ten quadrates of the four habitats. The importance value of these plants is as follows: Pulsatilla tongkangensis is 9.65%; Carex humilis var. nana 28.93%; Potentilla dickinsii 16.55%; Mukdenia rossii 7.09%; Peucedanum terebinthaceum and Eragrostis ferruginea 4.55%; and Vicia venosa var. albiflora 3.90%. The importance value of these six species is high, so they are at affinity with P. tongkangensis in their habitats. The degree of their average species diversity is 0.75, and that of dominance and evenness 0.24 and 0.85, respectively. Their average field capacity of soil is 19.05%, organic matter 10.51%, and soil pH is 7.43, which are similar among their habitats.

        인공호 호소사면 나대지의 식물분포 특성과 녹화를 위한 식물 종 선정

        Distributional characteristics of vascular plants and plants selection for revegetation in bare ground of lakeside was investigated in nine artificial lakes. The vascular plants were composed of 64 families, 194 genera, 268 species, 3 subspecies, 30 varieties, 3 forma, totaling 304 taxa. Dominant species of nine investigated areas were represented as Ambrosia trifida, Calystegia hederacea, Matricaria matricariodes, Xanthium italicum. Dominant species of three parts based on the location of artificial lakes were as follows: Ambrosia trifida, Bidens tripartita, Calystegia hederacea, Equisetum arvense, Setaria viridis, Spergula arvensis, Torilis japonica in northern part (Lake Paro and Soyang); Calystegia hederacea, Matricaria matricariodes, Rumex crispus, Xanthium italicum in middle part (Lake Chungju, Daecheong, Andong and Imha); and Ambrosia artemisiifolia, Bidens frondosa, Chenopodium glaucum, Miscanthus sinensis var. purpurascens, Persicaria pubescens, Setaria viridis in southern part(Lake Juam, Hapcheon and Jinyang). Among the 304 taxa, Korean endemic, endangered and rare plants were not investigated. The naturalized plants were 46 taxa, and life form was Th-R5-D4-e type. Above the results, Calystegia hederacea, Equisetum arvense, Xanthium italicum, Matricaria matricariodes, and Spergula arvensis were considered with proper species for revegetation in bare ground of lakeside in artificial lakes.
