An mentioned above, Korean Kumdo may be considered that Japanese Kendo as a sport has been introduced and popularized here. Some argue that a conservative way of thought due to the principle of Confucianism here interrupted a continuity of Korean Kumdo until the open-door period. But it is high probable that at that time Japanese Kendo has been already introduced and performed here to educate army or police without any difficulty. And it can not dendy that a continuity of Korean traditional Kumdo might be interruped long before the open-door period. A ter the Japanese annexation of Korea. the encouragement of military arts by the political intention of Japan played a remarkable role on the introduction of Japanese Kendo into Korea. and also Kendo was used to maintain public peace and order as a game of national defence, and the common here could not easily contact with Japanese Kendo. That is why then Kendo was started just for the Japanese for the purpose of fostering a Japanese sprit, used as a means to emphasize Japanese Imperial civilians as a colony policy. In the end, it is possible that them many civilians would experience Japanese Imperial civilian gymnastics.

Background: In several cancers, tumor progression is associated with the infiltration of tumor-associated macrophages (TAMs). Objectives: To evaluate the prognostic significance of CD163 and CD68 (TAMs' marker) expression and its correlation with VEGF and COX-2 expression in cutaneous melanoma. Methods: Diagnostic tissues from 102 cases of cutaneous melanoma were evaluated by immunohistochemistry for CD68, CD163, VEGF, and COX-2 expression. Correlations between these proteins were investigated. Clinicopathological features, overall survival, and progression-free survival were analyzed in terms of the expression of these proteins. Results: CD163, but not CD68 expression, correlated with VEGF and COX-2 expression. Positivity for CD163 was associated with a deeper Breslow thickness and advanced stage of disease. Positivity for CD163 was associated with lower overall survival. No significant differences were found in CD68 expression between the clinicopathological variables and overall survival. COX-2 expression was associated with a deeper Breslow thickness and a higher frequency of lymph node involvement. Multivariate analysis revealed that CD163 and COX-2 expression were independent prognostic markers of lower survival outcomes. Conclusion: Our data confirms that CD163 expression provides independent prognostic information in cutaneous melanoma. The correlation of CD163 with VEGF and COX-2 expression suggests various tumor-promoting actions of CD163-positive TAMs.

Cochlodinium polykrikoides red tides have caused great economic losses in the aquaculture industry in many countries. To investigate the roles of metazooplankton in red tide dynamics of C. polykrikoides in the South Sea of Korea, the abundance of metazooplankton was measured at 60 stations over 1- or 2-week intervals from May to November 2014. In addition, the grazing impacts of dominant metazooplankton on red tide species and their potential heterotrophic protistan grazers were estimated by combining field data on the abundance of red tide species, heterotrophic protist grazers, and dominant metazooplankton with data obtained from the literature concerning ingestion rates of the grazers on red tide species and heterotrophic protists. The mean abundance of total metazooplankton at each sampling time during the study was 297-1,119 individuals $m^{-3}$. The abundance of total metazooplankton was significantly positively correlated with that of phototrophic dinoflagellates (p < 0.01), but it was not significantly correlated with water temperature, salinity, and the abundance of diatoms, euglenophytes, cryptophytes, heterotrophic dinoflagellates, tintinnid ciliates, and naked ciliates (p > 0.1). Thus, dinoflagellate red tides may support high abundance of total metazooplankton. Copepods dominated metazooplankton assemblages at all sampling times except from Jul 11 to Aug 6 when cladocerans and hydrozoans dominated. The calculated maximum grazing coefficients attributable to calanoid copepods on C. polykrikoides and Prorocentrum spp. were 0.018 and $0.029d^{-1}$, respectively. Therefore, calanoid copepods may not control populations of C. polykrikoides or Prorocentrum spp. Furthermore, the maximum grazing coefficients attributable to calanoid copepods on the heterotrophic dinoflagellates Polykrikos spp. and Gyrodinium spp., which were grazers on C. polykrikoides and Prorocentrum spp., respectively, were 0.008 and $0.047d^{-1}$, respectively. Therefore, calanoid copepods may not reduce grazing impact by these heterotrophic dinoflagellate grazers on populations of the red tide dinoflagellates.

<P>Oxalic acid has potent nematicidal activity against the root-knot nematode Meloidogyne incognita. In this study, fermentation parameters for oxalic acid production in submerged culture of Aspergillus niger F22 at 23, 25, and 30 A degrees C were optimized in 5-L jar fermenters. The viscosity of the culture broth increased with increasing temperature. There was a negative correlation between oxalic acid production and the apparent viscosity; high volumetric productivity of oxalic acid was obtained at low apparent viscosity (less than 1000 cP), with a productivity of more than 100 mg/L h. When the apparent viscosity was over 2500 cP, the volumetric productivity decreased below 50 mg/L h. In addition, the volumetric mass transfer coefficient, K (L) a, positively correlated with volumetric productivity. When the K (L) a value increased from 0.0 to 0.017 /s, the volumetric productivity proportionally increased up to 176 mg/L h. When the temperature decreased, K (L) a increased due to the decrease in viscosity, leading to increased volumetric productivity. The highest productivity of 7453.3 mg/L was obtained at the lowest temperature, i.e., 23 A degrees C. The nematicidal activity of culture filtrate was proportional to the content of oxalic acid. Based on a constant impeller tip speed, oxalic acid production was successfully scaled up to a 500-L pilot vessel, producing a final concentration comparable to that in the 5-L jar.</P>

본 논문에서는 구축함에 탑재되는 통합 마스트의 RCS(Radar Cross Section) 값을 저감시키기 위해 다층 구조로 되어있는 유전체 코팅을 이용한 기법을 제시한다. 제시된 다층 구조는 특별히 고유전율을 요구하거나 전자기파 흡수 차단에 많이 사용되는 자성체성분을 포함하지 않은 일반적인 유전체를 사용할 수 있도록 유전율의 범위를 정했기 때문에 제작에 용이하다는 장점이 있다. 제시된 다층 유전체 구조를 통합 바스트 형상에 적용시킨 후 시뮬레이션을 진행한 결과 다층 구조가 없는 구조물과 비교하여 6GHz에서 10.9dB, 12GHz에서 11.95dB, 18GHz에서 11.63dB의 RCS 저감 성능이 있는 것을 확인하였다. This paper presents a technique using a multilayered dielectric coating to reduce the radar cross section (RCS) value of an integrated mast mounted in a destroyer. The proposed multilayer structure has the advantage of being easy to fabricate because the dielectric constant is defined so that a general dielectric that does not contain a magnetic component that requires high dielectric constant or is frequently used for blocking electromagnetic wave absorption can be used. After applying the proposed multi-layer dielectric structure to the integrated mast shape, the simulation results show that the RCS reduction performance is 10.9dB at 6GHz, 11.95dB at 12GHz, and 11.63dB at 18GHz compared to the structure without the multilayer structure.

PCB (Printed Circuit Board)를 설계할 때 정확한 재료 정보는 매우 중요하다. 전투함의 통합 마스트 (Integrated Mast)에 서는 스텔스 기능을 위해 열 저감이 필수적이며 이를 위해서는 내부의 제어 장치에서 발생하는 열을 최대한 줄여야 한다. 제어 장치는 대부분 PCB로 이루어져 있으나 PCB의 유전상수 (Dk, Dielectric Constant)가 정확하게 알려져 있지 않아 임피던스 부정합이 발생하며 이는 열 발생을 매우 증가시킨다. 본 논문에서는 Dk의 측정 방법에 대해 살펴보고 동작 주파수에 따른 Dk 값의 변화가 임피던스 부정합에 미치는 영향을 살펴본다. Accurate material information is very important in PCB (Printed Circuit Board) design. In an integrated mast of a battleship, heat reduction is essential for stealth functionality. So heat dissipation from internal control equipments should be reduced as much as possible. Control equipments mostly consist of PCBs, but it often suffers from impedance mismatching due to imprecise Dk (Dielectric Constant), which significantly increases heat dissipation. In this paper, measurement methods of Dk is investigated. Also, effects on impedance mismatch by Dk variation with operating frequency is investigated.
