The present paper describes temporal changes of immunohistochemical localization and quantities of carbonic anhydrase isozyme II (CA-II) prochymosin (PC) and pepsinogen (PN) in goat's abomasal mucosae during long term milk feeding. The CA-II was not detected by day 14 after birth and then became positive on day 34 in the parietal cells, suggesting that the excretion of the hydrochloric acid (HCl) begins between days 14 and 34 under a feeding condition without solid materials. The quantity of the PC in the gastric chief cells detected by the ELISA showed rapid increase from the day of birth, making a peak on day 8 and then gradually decreased with age. The decrease in quantity of PC became started during the time period when HCl excretion had not started yet. The quantities of PN in the gastric chief cells were almost stable during the whole period examined. Expressions of these gastric enzymes did not seem to be regulated by the change of feeding condition.
Floating zone growth of calcium aluminate (Ca12Al14O33)

Abundance of oxygen radicals residing in the cage-like lattice framework of calcium aluminate makes the growth of good quality single crystal difficult. Oxygen bubbles easily get trapped inside the crystal making the optical properties of the crystal inferior. In this study, we have investigated the behavior of oxygen bubbles inside the molten-zone during a conventional floating-zone growth. We have investigated the effect of different feed preparation process on the quality of the grown crystals and found that subsequent quenching of the feed from 900 °C after calcination at 1200 °C significantly reduces the bubbles in the crystal. Secondly we have performed floating-zone growth of C12A7 under a high magnetic field (up to 8T). We think that each of the bubbles become a small piece of magnet under the magnetic effect and repel each other in the molten zone. As a result we observed significant stabilization of the molten zone through early removal, and a reduction of accumulation of the bubbles.

We designed a voltage-control spintronics memory unit-cell, VoCSM, with high write-efficiency to prove a potential to reduce writing energy per bit. By optimizing a self-aligned structure, the cell has the critical switching current (Icsw) smaller than 50 μA at 20 nsec. for designed MTJ size of about 50 × 150 ㎚². The value is much smaller than that for mature STT-MRAM with the similar dimension. VoCSM also was proved to have unlimited endurance. Finally, with an empirical equation of Icsw further reduction of Icsw is estimated to clarify that VoCSM has a potential to reduce Icsw down to several μA.

A voltage-control spintronics memory (VoCSM) which has a potential of low energy consumption uses the spin-Hall effect (SHE) and the voltage-controlled magnetic anisotropy (VCMA) effect for its write operation. In this work, the relationship between the critical switching current (Icsw) and the SHE electrode thickness (tN) is investigated in the range of 5 nm < tN < 8 nm. In the fabrication process, we develop highly-selective patterning process to stop MTJ etching precisely on the surface of the SHE electrode. Using the technique, Icsw is reduced by half as tN is varied from 8 nm to 5 nm, and Icsw of 112 mA at 20 ns write current pulse is obtained for MTJ size of 50 × 150 nm2 on Ta(2 nm)/TaB (3 nm) electrode. The results indicate that the decrease in the SHE electrode thickness is a promised method to reduce Icsw, which leads VoCSM to a low-energy-consumption device.
