The study finds out the constitution of catholic Missa programs and interior space and with the understandings of light and shadow"s temporality and catholic churches interior space, the temporality feature and symbolic meaning of light and shadow shown in the space will be comprehended. The result of the study is as follows. Thanks to its physical properties, light is differently represented in space according to directions and kinds. Shadow has color and shape which form various images in space according to light"s properties. Such light and shadow show the temporality feature which changes diversely in accordance with the flow of time. The temporality feature of the light and shadow can be summarized into the three factors; trace, movement, and flow. Plans of a Catholic church and types of the ceiling make different quantities of light come in, which creates diverse atmosphere and mood in space. The temporality that the light and shadow has in interior space of a Catholic church building is closely related to the symbol of the religion space and it is concluded that a christian Missa program should be carefully planned in consideration of the temporality. Likewise, the temporality of the light and shadow in interior space can express the space in a variety of ways. They not only have symbolic meaning as religious space, but also, at the same time, satisfy design factors which decorate the space beautifully and affluently. Through the study, it is considered throughly that light does not simply play a role as illumination, but influence people psychologically and physically. In addition, the light should be appreciated as unlimited value considering its design factors and this thesis wants to be a springboard for the field.
갑상선 분화암 수술 후 저용량 방사성 옥소(I-131)요법

Objectives: To assess the effectiveness of the low-dose(30mCi) I-131 ablation therapy for remnant thyroid tissue following total thyroidectomy for differentiated thyroid cancer. Methods: Between March 1995 and December 1997, forty-eight patients were given ablative doses(30mCi) of I-131 after total thyroidectomy for differentiated thyroid cancer in the presence of I-131 uptake in remnant thyroid tissue. Effective ablation of remnant thyroid tissue was determined by following I-131 whole body scan. if remnant thyroid tissue remained, we repeated the same management at 6 months interval. Results: Thirty-eight(79.1%) patients had papillary, 8(16.7%) follicular, 1(2.1%) medullary and 1(2.1%) Hurthle cell type cancer. Forty-eight patients underwent total thyroidectomy, among those central neck dissection was performed in 35 cases, and modified radical neck dissection in 14 cases. Postoperative complication developed in 8 cases, which included 4 cases of transient hypoparathyroidism, 1 case of permanent hypoparathyroidism, 2 cases of transient recurrent laryngeal nerve palsy, and 1 case of wound hematoma. There were significant remnant thyroid tissue in 46 cases(95.8%) of patients after total thyroidectomy, which could be ablated by low dose(30mCi) I-131. There were no statistical difference between operative procedures and number of treatment of I-131. Conclusions: These results suggested that repeated low-dose(30mCi) I-131 therapy would be needed, therefore, high -dose I-131 therapy could be considered as ablation therapy for the remnant thyroid tissue after total thyroidectomy for differentiated thyroid cancer.

Moisture ingress into photovoltaic (PV) module results to degrade the power. To predict the lifetime of the PV module under actual temperature and humidity (T&H) conditions, the solubility of the cured ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA) and the maximum water vapour transmittance rates (WVTRmax) was evaluated. Using the solubility, WVTRmax values, and PV module-temperature data (Miami, Arizona, Seoul), the relative humidity history of the interface between the cell and EVA sheet (RHcell) was calculated for 1 year. The effects of the solubility on the RHcell were also determined. We are experimenting the outdoor PV test depending on environmental conditions in Seosan (International place) in Korea at the moment.
`실버케어 전문가` 미래직업 연계형 STEAM 프로그램이 초등학생의 미래지향 시간관, 진로인식 및 과학적 태도에 미치는 영향

이 연구의 목적은 `실버케어 전문가` STEAM프로그램을 개발하고 초등학교에 적용하여 효과를 알아보는 것이다. 이 연구를 위해 경기도 소재 초등학생 110명이 참여하였다. 54명은 실험 집단으로, 56명은 비교집단으로 배치하였으며 프로그램 적용 전후에 미래지향 시간관, 진로인식, 과학적 태도 검사를 실시하였다. 본 연구에서 얻어진 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, `실버케 전문가` STEAM 프로그램을 적용한 실험집단 학생의 미래지향 시간관 전체 점수와 2개 하위영역 모두에서 비교집단에 비해 유의미하게 향상되었다(p<.05). 둘째, `실버케어 전문가` STEAM 프로그램을 적용한 실험집단 학생의 진로인식 전체 점수와 4개 하위영역 점수가 비교 집단에 비해 유의미하게 향상되었다(p<.05). 셋째, `실버케어 전문가` STEAM 프로그램을 적용한 실험집단 학생의 과학적 태도 전체 점수와 7개 하위영역 점수가 비교집단에 비해 유의미하게 향상되었다(p<.05). 넷째, `실버케어 전문가` STEAM 프로그램에 대한 실험집단 학생의 만족도를 조사한 결과 `나는 과학기술 분야와 관련된 직업에 대한 관심이 생겼다`라는 항목에서 가장 높은 긍정적 인식을 보여주었다. 결론적으로 본연구에서 개발 적용한 STEAM 프로그램이 초등학생의 미래지향 시간관, 진로인식, 과학적 태도를 향상시키는 데 효과적임을 시사한다. The purpose of this study was to develop `Silver Care Expert` STEAM Program for the elementary students and investigate the effects of the program on creative thinking activity, scientific attitude and leadership. Participants were 110 elementary school students. Before and after the program, the participants were asked to take the test about future time perspective, career awareness and scientific attitude. The major results of this study were as follows. First, the total score of experimental group`s future time perspective and all 2 sub-domains was significantly improved than those of comparative group(p<.05). Second, total score of experimental groups` career awareness and all 4 sub-domains were significantly increased than those of comparative group after the STEAM program(p<.05). Third, the total score of experimental groups` scientific attitude and all 7 sub-domains were significantly improved than those of comparative group(p<.05). Fourth, according to students` post-program opinions, experimental group students showed very positive perception like that science class was very interesting and they became interested in science and technology. In conclusion, `Silver Care Expert` STEAM Program was very effective to improve elementary students` future time perspective, career awareness, scientific attitudes.

This study highlights the advantages of colored building integrated photovoltaics (BIPV) systems that can generate power and renovate obsolete public-school buildings. Multicolored BIPV systems were installed in two school buildings and monitored for a specific period to verify their power generation, and power generation data were analyzed together with the solar radiation data from that location. The results from this study can be used to contribute to the widespread adoption of BIPV systems in school buildings in the future.
노래 가사의 유무가 유아의 리듬적성과 음감적성의 증진에 미치는 효과

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of songs with and without words on the enhancement of young children`s rhythmic and tonal aptitudes in music learning activities. For this study, sixteen 3-year-old children in Daegu as the experimental group were participated in music activities with songs without words over a 16 week period. And fifteen 3-year-old children in the same city as the comparative group were participated in music activities with songs with words during the same period. The children were divided into the two groups by randomization and their music activities were based on Gordon`s developmental music aptitude theory. The two groups were given a pretest and a posttest to check the enhancement of rhythmic and tonal aptitudes by using Gordon`s method for the measurement of music aptitudes. Data were statistically analyzed by ANCOVA. As the results, the experimental group showed higher score in the tonal aptitude than the comparative group. But there was no difference in the enhancement of rhythmic aptitude between the two groups. The former finding implies that songs without words are more effective for the enhancement of tonal aptitude than those with words.
적정기술 주제의 STEAM 프로그램 개발 및 초등학생의 창의적 사고활동, 과학적 태도, 리더십에 미치는 영향

이 연구의 목적은 적정기술 주제의 융합인재교육(STEAM) 프로그램을 개발하고 초등학교에 적용하여 효과를 알아보는 것이다. 이 연구를 위해 경기도 소재 초등학교 3학년 85명이 참여하였다. 40명은 실험집단으로, 45명은 비교집단으로 배치하였으며 프로그램 적용 전후에 창의적 사고활동, 과학적 태도, 리더십 검사를 실시하였다. 본 연구에서 얻어진 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫 째, 적정기술 주제의 STEAM 프로그램을 적용한 실험집단 학생의 창의적 사고활동 전체 점수 와 4개 하위영역 모두에서 비교집단에 비해 유의미하게 향상되었다(p<.05). 둘째, 적정기술 주 제의 STEAM 프로그램을 적용한 실험집단 학생의 과학적 태도 전체 점수와 호기심, 자진성, 끈 기성 3개 하위영역 점수가 비교집단에 비해 유의미하게 향상되었다(p<.05). 셋째, 적정기술 주 제의 STEAM 프로그램을 적용한 실험집단 학생의 리더십 전체 점수와 개인 내 특성, 개인 간 특 성 점수가 비교집단에 비해 유의미하게 향상되었다(p<.05). 결론적으로 본 연구에서 개발 적용한 STEAM 프로그램이 초등학생의 창의적 사고활동, 과학적 태도, 리더십을 향상시키는 데 효과적임을 시사한다. The purpose of this study was to develop ‘Appropriate Technology’ theme STEAM Program for the elementary students and investigate the effects of the program on creative thinking activity, scientific attitude and leadership. Participants were 3grade 85 elementary school students. Before and after the program, the participants were asked to take the tests about creative thinking activity, scientific attitude and leadership. The major results of this study were as follows. First, the total score of experimental group``s creative thinking activity and all 4 sub-domains was significantly improved than those of comparative group(p<.05). Second, the total score of experimental groups’ scientific attitude was significantly improved than that of comparative group(p<.05). Among 7 sub-domains, curiosity, voluntariness, perseverance were significantly developed. Third, total score of experimental groups’ leadership was significantly increased than that of comparative group after the STEAM program (p<.05). In the first factor, the score of inner and inter personal characteristics were significantly developed.
