        사후분해 시체에 대한 법의학적 접근

        Disposal of a homicide victim by dismemberment is rare, but individual cases are on record in most major medicolegal departments. Recognition of postmortem mutilation may be of importance in the interpretation of certain murders committed by sexual perverts and other mentally deranged individuals and sometimes performed for the sole reason of easier disposal of the body. Postmortem dismemberment is usually readily recognizable as such; The edges of the injuries are dry and lack evidence of bleeding. The joints may be disarticulated without fracture, or the use of an axe or saw may be evident from examination of bones. Parallel horizontal or oblique furrows in the bone surface are caused by skipping of the saw prior to establishing depth. Such patterns on the bone may assist in identifying the particular saw involved. So we report 25 dismembered corpses that autopsied in National Institute of Scientific Investigation. This paper can help in attempting to establish not only the first criminal investigation steps but also the medicolegal approach methods in unidentified and dismembered deaths.

      • 컴퓨터를 이용한 도시 경관 시뮬레이션에 관한 연구

        In many areas of planning and design, various methods and media for simulating natural and artificial environment have been developed and used in order to forecast possible future changes or to assess proposed plans and designs. There are, however, situations in which such simulations are more likely to be mistrusted or misinterpreted. It is mainly due to the fact that traditional simulation methods often depend upon the subjective judgement as well as the level of skill of the juman preparer. Therefore, this paper first investigates and extracts some fundamental definitions of and principles for effective preparation and use of visual simulation. Based upon the extracted principles, a visual simulation system for urban landscape management is developed, which makes use of the recent development of personal computer-based graphics technology that has been gaining higher level of credibility as well as wider availability. The developed ;system is then applied to a study on the method of urban landscape management in order to investigate and analyse some problems, and to suggest some practical techniques and future development policy for a practical urban landscape simulation system.

        Hirschsprung 씨 질환에서 항문직장계측검사의 진단적 의의

        It is well known that stimulation of rectum by balloon distention results in the reflex relaxation of the internal anal sphincter in the normally innervated bowel. and this rectosphincteric reflex is absent in Hirschsprung's disease. It's the first report in Korea to evaluate diagnostic reliability of anorectal pressure study in Hirschsprung's disease using anorectal manometry, Model 003 developed by professor Holschneider. This investigation was performed on 21 consecutive children who complained of acute intestinal obstruction especially in infants and chronic constipation during the period February 1986 to September 1987. The ages of the children ranged from 8 days to 15 years, and 8 patients including the 4 neonates were examined within 1 year old. The 7 patients were proved to have Hirschsprung's disease who revealed no rectosphincteric reflex on anorectal pressure study, and Hirschsprung's disease was ruled out in 14 patients who reveales rectosphincteric reflex. In 2 out of 14 patients who showed no rectosphincteric reflex, Hirschsprung's disease was ruled out by rectal suction biopsy and clinical course. With the above results, this study shows an over-all diagnostic accuracy 90% along with sensitivity 100% and specificity 86%. In conclusion, anorectal pressure study is a reliable, diagnostic procedure for Hirschsprung's disease, and it has the advantage of simple , non-invasive and safe procedure without general anesthesia and is of particular value as a screening test in inpatients as well as outpatients.

      • CAD의 정의를 중심으로 본 건축 설계에 있어서 컴퓨터의 역할에 관한 소고

        The computer use in architectural design offices in Korea is under-developed largely due to the lack of recognition of architectural computing, or rather, to the wide-spread mis-understanding about CAD, as it is called. This essay attempts to alleviate this problem by suggesting a desirable way of utilising computing technology in architectural design. To this end, the recent trends of computer-use in architecture and building industry in general are summarised, and thereby, a proper definition of CAD is suggested. Further suggestions include theological considerations about CAD in conjunction with the education of architecture, a practical strategy fir incorporating computing technology into architectural design offices and a conceptual model of Computer-Aided Building Design system in near future, which can be called Integrated Design Environment.

        The crucial issue for a system to be used successfully as a design tool is how the user of such a system perceives and manipulates system modules together with problem specific data. This in turn is determined by the system architecture. A common element between all design activities is communication. Based upon the basic philosophy of communication, a general system architecture is suggested for an intelligent design assistant as an approach to integrated design environment. The CAD system architecture includes an intelligent front end dealing with a series of independent resources attached to a central, dynamically configurable blackboard as the communications centre.

      • 一部 男子大學生들과 運動選手들의 一側優位性(左右差:手·足·體·眼)에 關한 比較硏究

        This study is from March 1st, of 1988 to September 31, 1988. The subjects of study consists of students in general who are in attendance at university and all samples are selected at random. The total number of subjects counts to 187(sports man : 56, College students : 131) and the researcher measures and analyses the subjects' physique, physical strength, the test of dominance eye, the functional tests of hand, foot, body and eye. The results as follows : 1. Physical growth and development Mean values of body height are 177.19±5.01㎝ for sports man and 173.3±0.46㎝ for college student and superior to standard value of Korean. Mean values of body weight are 69.6.±6.17㎏ for sports man and 66.1±1.68㎏ for college student, and the mean values of chest girth are 91.86±4.83㎝ and 94.1±1.53㎝. Mean values of sitting height are 93.0±4.28㎝ and 93.3±1.05㎝. 2. Physical fitness Mean values of grin strength are 41.6±4.3 for right side and 44.0±6.0 for left side in sports man and 44.2±1.4 for right and 46.3±1.7 for left in college student. Mean values of arm strength are 29.7±3.9 for right and 31.8±2.9 for left in sports man 25.±1.4 or right and 28.7±1.9 for left in college student. Mean values of leg strength are 38.4±5.8 for right and 43.8±6.1 for left in sports man and 43.5±1.8 for right and 44.2±1.1 for left in college student. 3. Functional rate of foot, trunk, eye and hand As considered according to its functions, the rates of right foot, left foot, both of feet in both of the sports man and college student, total rates are each of 83.3%, 16.7%, 2.4% for sports man and 53.7%, 39.0%, 2.6% for college student. The rates of right side, left side, both of sides in both of the sports man and college student, the total rates are each of 53.3%, 37.4%, 6.7% for sports man and 39.1%, 46.1%, 5.1% for college student. The rates of right eye, left eye, both of eyes in both of the sports man and college student, the total rates are each of 53.6%, 31.7%, 4.1% for sports man and 53.3%, 20.8%, 22.7% for college student. The rates of right hand, left hand, both of hands in both of the sports man and college student, the total rates are each of 67.5%, 21.8%, 5.2% for sports man and 84.5%, 10.4%, 2.2% for college student, respectively. 4. Tests of dominance eye As considered according to tests of dominance eye, the results of right eye, left eye in both sports man and college student, results are each of 62.5%, 37.5% for sports man and 70.2%, 29.8% for college students, 67.9%, 32.1% for the total of sports man and college student, respectively.

        다발성 외상 후 횡문근융해증 환자에서의 손상초기 급성신부전의 예측인자

        Background: Acute renal failure(ARF) is a serious complication of rhabdomyolysis after multiple trauma, and may increase morbidity and mortality. The aim of this study was to elucidate predicting factors for the development of ARF induced by rhabdomyolysis at an early stage of multiple trauma. Methods: This prospective, observational study was conducted at the emergency department of a level I trauma center. Patients with acute multiple trauma, whose plasma levels of creatine phosphokinase(CPK) were higher than 1,000 IU, were included in this study. We excluded patients with any history of myocardial infarction, stroke, underlying renal disease, and/or infectious disease. We collected clinical and laboratory data including age, heart rate, mean arterial blood pressure, injury severity score, serum myoglobin, lactic dehydrogenase, creating phosphokinase, and base excess. Collected data were compared between patients who had ARF and patients who did not have ARF. Results: Eighty-eight patients were enrolled in this study. Eighteen patients(20.5%) developed ARF. The injury severity score(ISS)(p=0.001), the base excess(p<0.001), CPK(p=0.003), and myoglobin(p<0.001) were higher in patients with ARF than in patient without ARF. Logistic regression analysis revealed that early predictors for ARF were high ISS, high base excess, high CPK, and high myoglobin. Conclusion: We could identify early predicting factors for acute renal failure induced by rhabdomyolysis, these factors included ISS, serum CPK and myoglobin, and base excess in the arterial blood gas analysis performed at the emergency department.
