Many studies for computer-based chromosome analysis using artificial neural network (ANN) have shown that it is possible to classify chromosomes into 24 subgroups. It is important to select optimum features for training the ANN. Our purpose was to select features that had the low classification error and the best ability for human chromosome classification. We applied the medial axis transformation for the medial line, extended the line to the boundary and obtained relative length, relative area and centromeric index. The Giemsa-stained human chromosome has a sequence of banding pattern that is perpendicular to the medial axis of the chromosome. Density profile is a one-dimensional graph of the banding pattern property of the chromosome computed at a sequence of points along the possibly curved chromosome medial axis. Some studied used relative length, centromeric index and 62 density profile as features, but we prepared two data sets as features that one set was relative length, centromeric index and 80 density profile considered No. 1 chromosome's length and the other was relative length, centromeric index, the 80 density profile and relative area and compared classification error of each set. We found that the classification error showed to be decreased by adding relative area to the other features.
Development of A Teledermatological Service System Among Korea-China-Europe Using TEIN

A teledermatological service system among Korea, China and Austria has been developed and tested in this research. For successful design and establishment of a teledermatological service system, four elements were considered-networking among hospitals and participants, standard specification for teledermatological consultation, database for medical record, and design and implementation of software. In addition to the fundamental stationary system, mobile teledermatological service function using PDA was added to provide dermatologists with ubiquitous consultation service. It was evaluated and proved to be a feasible for tele-consultation system by the dermatologists participated in this research.

Purpose: In this study, the purpose is to, by analyzing the MZ subjects to verify the regulatory effect of individ-ual personality in terms of the relationship between the characteristics of short-form beauty contents and the behavioral intention, and by studying how individual personality affects short-form characteristics of beauty con-tents and the behavioral intention, present the basic data for the effective digital scalability that provides an optimal experience to Generation MZ and a strategy to induce the users to consume beauty contents while feel-ing the curiosity and interest of users about planning, producing and sharing form beauty contents. Method: The subjects of this study were analyzed by using the SPSS 25.0, AMOS 22.0 program for 406 online questionnaires in Seoul, Gyeonggi, Incheon metropolitan area and non-metropolitan area to verify the research problem targeting Generation MZ who used short-form beauty contents at least once. The exploratory factor analysis and reliability analysis were performed to secure the validity and reliability of the scale, and the Pearson correlation analysis was performed to confirm the correlation between the major variables. To verify the regula-tory effect, the hierarchical regulation regression analysis was performed, and the test was confirmed with a simple slope graph according to the significant interaction effect. Results: As a result of the analysis performed, significant results were confirmed with a focus on the three stages in which all variables were input together. In the first stage, the characteristics of short-form beauty con-tents of the independent variables were static, all in playfulness, information, reliability, creativity, and interac-tivity. As the influence of individual personality on the behavioral intention in the second stage, it was confirmed that extroversion, affinity, and neurosis were significant. It was verified that the interaction variables that can confirm the regulatory effect in the third stage were the interaction between playfulness and sincerity(=.114, p<.05), the interaction between playfulness and neurosis(=.091, p<.05), reliability and the interaction of affin-ity(=.096, p<.05) was positively significant, and the interaction of information and affinity was negatively signif-icant(=-.156, p<.01). Conclusion: Based on the results of this study, it was possible to learn that, playfulness and reliability reinforce the behavioral intention in the characteristics of short-form beauty contents. Behavioral intention increases as individual personality integrity, neurosis, and evolution are regulated, whereas informationality deteriorates as the evolutionary nature increases, and it was also found that a strategy of creating and planning useful infor-mation that may be enjoyed or shared is necessary to provide an optimal experience of content, considering the characteristics and individual personalities of Generation MZ users, and accordingly, offers a meaning for the basic data for digital marketing.

In liver transplantation, the primary concern is to ensure an adequate future liver remnant (FLR) volume for the donor, while selecting a graft of sufficient size for the recipient. The living donor–resection and partial liver segment 2−3 transplantation with delayed total hepatectomy (LD−RAPID) procedure offers a potential solution to expand the donor pool for living donor liver transplantation (LDLT). We report the first case involving a cirrhotic patient with autoimmune hepatitis and hepatocellular carcinoma, who underwent left lobe LDLT using the LD−RAPID procedure. The living liver donor (LLD) underwent a laparoscopic left hepatectomy, including middle hepatic vein. The resection on the recipient side was an extended left hepatectomy, including the middle hepatic vein orifice and caudate lobe. At postoperative day 7, a computed tomography scan showed hypertrophy of the left graft from 320 g to 465 mL (i.e., a 45.3% increase in graft volume body weight ratio from 0.60% to 0.77%). After a 7-day interval, the diseased right lobe was removed in the second stage surgery. The LD−RAPID procedure using left lobe graft allows for the use of a small liver graft or small FLR volume in LLD in LDLT, which expands the donor pool to minimize the risk to LLD by enabling the donation of a smaller liver portion.
Changes in Behaviour of Laying Hens Following Beak Trimming at Hatch and Re-trimming at 14 Weeks

For many years beak trimming has been a controversial subject, particularly since the 1980's when the practice came under close scrutiny by animal welfare groups. In Australia it is considered an essential practice, averting losses of AUD$17.5m annually by reducing mortality from cannibalism. While mortality in flocks from cannibalism can be reduced from 25% of the flock to virtually nil, the beak trimming procedure is considered traumatic for the bird. This study examined if chronic pain in the beak was evident in birds 10, 20 and 60 weeks after being trimmed at hatch and in another group of birds, 8 and 52 weeks after being re-trimmed at 14 weeks. Chronic pain was assessed by measuring pecking behaviour and beak sensitivity responses. Pecking behaviour studies completed after beak trimming and re-trimming showed no evidence to indicate that birds were suffering severe chronic pain in the beak. Beak trimmed pullets pecked more at the cage and had more toe pecks, yet overall pecks made at the feed and the environment were no different than untrimmed controls. While the beak sensitivity studies provided evidence that the beak of birds trimmed at hatch and also re-trimmed at 14 weeks may be more sensitive there was no evidence that re-trimming resulted in a more sensitive beak than birds trimmed at hatch only. These studies have shown that birds which are beak trimmed and re-trimmed return to apparently normal feeding and pecking behaviour in the long term. However, there was limited evidence that beaks of trimmed birds have an altered threshold to potentially painful stimuli.
Influence of the variation of its geometry on the disk failure

The speed competition of optical disk drive has been accelerated with the fast advancement of its storage density and data transmission technology. The continuous increase of the spinning speed of CD meets the unexpected and catastrophic failure of disk during the operation. The effect of its thickness and outer radius of disk were investigated to reduce stresses and J-integral around the crack tip. The effect of its thickness was considered ahead of the crack tip. In the effect of outer radius of disk, linear elastic fracture mechanics was used to obtain the critical crack length, which indicates the onset length for unstable crack growth. This approach is so significant as to detect the growing crack by disk drive before the catastrophic failure, which will provide the standard size of its safety for high-speed disk drive.
