        기능성 식품으로의 활용을 위한 한약자원에 관한 연구 : (Ⅱ) 인진쑥 열수 추출물이 혈관과 국소뇌혈류량에 미치는 영향 및 추출물을 이용한 건강음료의 개발 (Ⅱ) Effects of Hot Water Extracts from Artemisia capillarisin on Vessel and Regional Cerebral Blood Flow and Development of Health Drink

        As an attempt to develop new functional health beverage by using medicinal herb, Artemisia capillaris, we investigated the effect of scopoletin in Artemisia capillaris on vessel and regional cerebral blood flow (rCBF) of rats ingesting health drink prepared with Artemisia capillaris extracts and various ingredients. Artemisia capillaris extract decreased the vessel contraction and increased rCBF significantly. The extracts were grouped by heat temperature and mixed ratio and tested their respective characteristics. Then each condition was combined and produced the most effective one. The drink produced consisted of Artemisia capillaris extract 42%, honey 9.8%, citric acid 0.035%,cyclodextrin 1.47% and water. Brix, pH and acidity of the product were 9.2, 4.4 and 0.04%, respectively. This drink scored to have highest level on overall acceptance by the sensory evaluation. The above results showed that development of such functional beverage using Artemisia capillaris can be used as a functional material improving blood circulation in beverage industry.

      • 國樂管樂器의 音 Spectrum에 관하여

        The effect of the thickness on the velocity of sound in tubes was studied with the tubes which have the same geometry but the thickness of 1.8mm to 10.8mm. it turns out that the velocity of sound in the tube, though to a small quantity, is affected by the thickness of the tube, and we modified Weston's formula in consideration with this affecting quantity. The end-correction calculated by using this formula concerning the velocity in tube was shown to agree with that of Sch-winger's. We also studied for the end-correction of the open-end and of the side-hole. First, the end-correction of the transformed open end increased with the decreasing cross section area, as we changed the cross section area of the open end. Second, the smaller the cross section area of the side hole is, the larger the end-correction of the side hole is. Third, in the case of same diameter, the endcorrection of the side hole nearer to the embouchure is larger than that is far from the embouchure. In this viewpoints, the end-correction of the open end, 0.6133R, can be applied only when the cross section areas of both the open ends are same. The sound spectra when a korean wind instrument, Dai-Kum, was played were different according to its player, and varied each time even in a same person. Also, it was shown that the velocity of sound in the instrument bore derived from the sound spectra reduced within 4 percent than in the case of making natural resonance in same bore. From these, it was shown that the sound spectra of wind instruments produced by the method of the natural resonance frequency are impossible directly to compare with the sound spectra by the blowing method.

        법랑모세포 분화와 법랑질 형성과정에서 OD314, Apin protein의 발현 및 기능

        본 연구에서는 법랑모세포 분화와 법랑질 형성에 연관이 있는 OD314 일명 Apin protein의 기능을 밝힐 목적으로, in-situ hybridization에 의한 OD314 mRNA 발현과 법랑모세포 세포주에서 OD314 enamel matrix protein의 발현, 그리고 OD314 유전자를 과발현/억제시킬 수 있는 construct를 제작한 후 법랑질 형성 중에 OD314의 기능을 알아보고자 RT-PCR를 시행하여 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 1. OD314 mRNA는 발생중인 상아모세포보다 법랑모세포에서 강하게 발현되었다. 2. Tuftelin은 석회화 결정이 형성되는 14일까지 발현이 지속되고, 그 이후부터 점차 감소하였다. Amelogenin과enamelin은 7일부터 그 발현이 점점 감소하였다. 3. U6-OD314 siRNA construct를 이용하여 transfection한 법랑모세포 세포주는 OD314와 tuftelin,MMP2 mRNA 발현이 감소하였으며, CM-OD314를 transfection하여 OD314의 과발현을 유도한 경우에는 OD314와 MMP20 mRNA의 발현이 뚜렷이 증대되었다. 이 결과는 OD314가 법랑모세포의 분화와 법랑질의 형성 그리고 석회화 과정에 중요한 역할을 하는 새로운 인자임을 시사한다. This study was aimed to elucidate the biological function of OD314 (Apin protein), which is related to ameloblast differentiation and amelogenesis. Apin protein, calcifying epithelial odontogenic (pindborg) tumors (CEOTs)-associated amyloid, were isolated from CEOTs, and has similar nucleotide sequences to OD314. We examined expression of the OD314 mRNA using in-situ hybridization during tooth development in mice. Expression of OD314 and several enamel matrix proteins were examined in the cultured ameloblast cell line up to 28 days by reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) amplification. After inactivation and over-expression of the OD314 gene in ameloblast cell lines using U6 vector-driven RNA interference and CMV-OD314 construct, RT-PCR were performed to evaluate the effect of the OD314 during amelogenesis. The results were as follows: 1. In in-situ hybridization, OD314 mRNAs were more strongly expressed in ameloblast than odontoblast. 2. When ameloblast cells were cultured in the differentiation and mineralization medium for 28 days, the tuftelin mRNA expression was maintained from the beginning to day 14, and then gradually decreased to day 28. The expressions of amelogenin and enamelin were gradually decreased according to the ameloblast differentiation. 3. Inactivation of OD314 by U6-OD314 siRNA construct down-regulated the expression of OD314, MMP-20, and tuftelin, whereas over-expression of OD314 by CMV-OD314 construct up-regulated the expression of OD314 and MMP-20 without change in tuftelin. These results suggest that OD314 is considered as an ameloblast-enriched gene and may play the important roles in ameloblast differentiation and mineralization.

      • 로케트 工學에 관한 硏究 : 第1報 : 亞音速 亂流流動에서 飛行翼模型의 剝離現象 Ⅰst Report : Separation of Airfoils in Subsonic Turbulent Flow

        Separation, pressure and velocity distributions were studied fully developed two dimensinonal, incompressible flow over a flat airfoil in subsonic wind tunnel. Velocity and turbulence were measured with a two channel constant temperature hot wire anemometer and pressure with a pitot tube and pressure tranducer system. The experimental results were obtained as follow: (1) Turbulent intensity of shear layer just outside the separation point is considered to affect the size of separation bubble. (2) Static pressure coefficient is separated into three regions according to its value change. (3) Separation point is varied with the change of attack angle. (4) Velocity distributions and boundary layers normal to airfoil surface are changed as variation of attack angle of airfoil.

        The novel PWM(pulsewidth modulation) strategy of three-phase voltage source inverter in the overmodulation range is proposed. Generally, the space vector PWM strategy in the overmodulation range is widely utilized due to its simple and effective digital implementation and increased voltage transfer ratio. A unique algorithm manages the transition form the onset of overmodulation to six-step operation. This proposed technique maximizes the utilization of the dc-link voltage and maintain the voltage linearity between the reference and output voltages, and it decreases the necessary memory quantity for the look-up table of the angle.

        Optimum conditions for the optical coupling phenomenon were studied through the BPM simulation technique for the design of directional optical divice which consists of the directional coupler. The parameters used in the simulation mere 1.5[㎛] wavelengths for light source, 3[㎛] of waveguide width. 2.25 of waveguide refractive index. 2.2 of substrate refracvive index, 3[㎛] of gap between wareguides and 18[V] of applied voltage respectively. Therfore. the optical paramaters will become efficient and easy using the electrode process to the optical device(modulator) fabrication.

        In this work ? single crystals were grown by the chemical transporting reaction(CTR) method using high purity(6N) elements. The structure of grown ZnAl2S4 single crystals were cubic structure. The optical energy band gap was indirect band gap and the temperature dependence of optical energy gap was fitted well to Varshni equation. Also, the entropy, enthalpy and heat capacity were deduced from the temperature dependence of optical energy gap.

      • 플라이오메트릭 트레이닝이 멀리뛰기 記錄에 미치는 影響 : 남자 중학생을 중심으로

        It is possible to improve the record of Track & Field events Which are the basis of various sport events like other sports improvement. In long-jump physical strength such as muscular strength, power and flexibility as well as inborn puality in an essential element in proving ones record. In order to strengthen such physical strength conditions, I made an experiment to find out the effect of plyometric training on long-jump on the basis of researches precedent. The subject of the experiment were the 30 seniormen selected at random in "D" middle school in Chung Chong Nam Do. They are devided into three group; group A(N=10) using 30㎝-high box, group B(N=10) using 40㎝-high box, group C(N=10) using 50㎝-high box were given box-jumps and depth-jumps and incline bound. 3 times (Mon, Wed, Fri) a week for 8 weeks. The analyzing (ANOVA) results of comparing the record of prexperiment with post-experiment was followed : 1. In case of a standing broad jump, the average of each group have improve by 2.6㎝ in group A, 3.7㎝ in group B and 11.1㎝ in group over its predecessors. The other two groups except group A showed significant results.(p<0.05) 2. In case of a standing high jump. The other two group except group A showed significant results.(p<0.05) 3. In case of 20m dash, the speed has improved 0.17 sec in group A, 0.26 sec in group B, 0.41 sec in group C. The other two groups except groups A showed signigicant results.(p<0.05) 4. In case of long jump, the average record of each group have improved by 9㎝ in group A, 13㎝ in group B, 24㎝ in group C over its predecessors. The other two groups except group A showed significant results.(p<0.05) In plyometric training, it was proved that the jumping height in the group C was the most proper of the three groups. And in the group C producing significant results the record was most increased 11.1㎝ in case of a standing broad jump, 4.5㎝ in a standing high jump, and -0.41 sec in 20m dash respectively, in case of long jump increased 24㎝ in the group C significant results.(p<0.05)

      • Holography에 의한 Loudspeaker Cone의 振動에 관한 考察

        Optical holographic interferometry is used to study the forced vibrational cone behaviour at some frequencies and photographs of resultant hologragm images are included. The entire cone vibrates almost uniformly in the low frequency region. Above certain frequency both transverse and longitudinal waves are coupled and together determine the vibration patterns. The coupling between longitudinal and bending waves gives rise to an antiresonance that the transverse amplitude become large. Bending waves only occur above the frequency at which this antiresonance occur. As the frequency increases, the resonance effect gradually progresses from the outer edge to the inner edge.
