We have systematically investigated magnetic sandwich structures of the Pd/Co/Pt and Pt/Co/Pd by performing an inelastic light scattering method. Two examined individual multilayer structures are identical, but the stacking order is inverted each other. The surface magnetic anisotropy energy densities of the Pd/Co/Pt structures are dramatically decreased up to 34 % compared with the Pt/Co/Pd structures, while the interfacial Dzyaloshinskii- Moriya energy density is being kept. Surprisingly, the Pd/Co/Pt structures show a sustainable interfacial Dzyaloshinskii-Moriya energy density and an extremely suppressed surface magnetic anisotropy that the magnetic domain wall energy is almost zero. Finally, we have shown a small range of cobalt thickness on Pd/Co/Pt structures that the magnetic domain wall energy density becomes negative. This observation can open a new way to form magnetic skyrmion phases at room temperature with zero bias magnetic field.
성과급제도 도입과 확대가 노동생산성에 미치는 효과 - 이론 및 실증 분석 -

본 연구는 기업 내 성과급제도가 관리자에게 도입된 이후 전 직원으로 확대되는 경우 기업성과의 변화가 어떤 양상을 보이는지를 이론적으로 그리고 실증적으로 분석한다. 이론적 분석을 위해 관리인과 다수의 노동자를 고용하는 기업의 문제를 다루는 도덕적 해이 모형을 설계하고, 이 모형을 바탕으로 성과급제도의 도입과 확대가 기업성과에 미치는 영향을 이론적으로 분석한다. 그 결과, 관리자 대상의 성과급제도의 도입은 하위 노동자들의 태만에 의해 기업성과에 긍정적인 영향을 불러일으키지 못한다는 것을 보였다. 그러나 성과급제도가 전 노동자에게 확대되는 경우에는 노동자의 노력에 관한 한계생산을 증가시킴으로써 기업성과에 긍정적인 영향을 미친다는 것을 보였다. 이는 전 노동자 대상의 성과급제도가 기업성과에 대한 노동탄력성을 증가시킨다는 것을 함의한다. 이러한 이론적 결과를 실증적으로 검증한 결과, 성과급제도가 관리자에게만 국한되어 도입되는 경우 기업성과에 유의미한 영향을 주지 않은 것으로 드러났다. 그러나 전 직원 대상의 성과급제도가 도입된 이후 기업성과(매출액 및 매출액에서 인건비를 차감한 이윤)에 대한 노동탄력성은 상승하는 것으로 밝혀졌다. This paper analyze theoretically and empirically how performance-based pay system affects the firm’s performance when it is applied to from manager to worker. We conduct theoretical analysis by solving an principal-agent model in which a firm employs one manager and many workers. One of our results is that applying performance-based pay system to only manager does not positively affect the firm’s performance because many workers still shirk their duties. However, when it is expanded to workers, the system creates a positive effect on firm’s performance by improving marginal productivity of efforts of workers. This result implies that such an introduction increases labor elasticity related to firm’s performance. Empirical test on our theoretical results is that the introduction of performance-based pay system for only manager fails to lead to an increase in firm’s performance, but that its introduction for workers including manager increases labor elasticities with respect to firm’s sales and profits obtained by subtracting labor costs from sales.

As the number of vehicles equipped with advanced safety devices increases, cases of malfunction and inoperable are rapidly reported. As a result, a method of verifying normal operation by implementing conditions for activating advanced safety devices in virtual driving spaces is being studied by public institutions. Virtual environment establishment and simulation are essential for scenario development in order to inspect advanced safety devices. In this paper, activation conditions were modeled through vehicle tests in order to develop advanced safety device inspection scenarios, established a virtual driving environment using validated vehicle dynamics models and input-output conditions, and conducted advanced safety device inspection simulations.
Antibacterial peptides on the human skin surface using a skin patch test chamber

Anti-microbial peptides (AMPs) on the skin surface are related to the skin's innate immunity in preventing external infection. Skin rinsing and tape stripping (TS) are acceptable methods for analyzing AMPs on the skin surface, but has limitations such as skin damage. In this study, we propose a non-invasive method to measure AMPs on the skin surface with minimal skin damage. Using the patch test assay, we aimed to analyze the skin surface human beta defensins (hBDs) without damaging the skin barrier. The concentration of hBDs on the skin surface was analyzed using skin patch analysis, and the concentration of hBD-1 was compared with the TS method in this proof-of-concept study. In addition, changes in skin physiology and concentration of hBDs under the 1% sodium lauryl sulfate stimulation condition were monitored for 150 h. The correlation between the two methods had a Pearson's coefficient of 0.640, and skin patch analysis led to a relatively less impaired barrier. Age-specific comparisons suggested that higher skin surface hBD-1 concentrations were seen in the young group than in the elderly group. Skin surface expression of hBD-2 after skin barrier disruption was high in the young group. Our findings show that skin patch analysis is a convenient method to analyze hBDs on the skin surface, and that hBDs are factors of innate immunity and can be used as an index to predict decreases in the chemical immune response of the skin due to aging.

Recently, the automotive technology has developed with electronics and information technology as convergence technology while vehicles had been regarded as machines. Moreover, vehicles are becoming more intelligent and safer devices, assembly of advanced technologies by customers’ demand. Even though all of installations of vehicle have attracted as diverting devices, it cause drivers’ mistakes like delay of response on traffic condition. Here, we proposed the Field Operational Test (FOT) environment which could be used as driving and road conditions collector for researches about Driver Friendly Intelligent System, Human Vehicle Interface and Economic Drive Model. Tendencies of drivers were analyzed by measured data and driving workload of classified road.

이중펄스 로켓모타는 두 개의 펄스모타 사이에 격벽 또는 격막을 통하여 1단 펄스모타 연소 후 2단 펄스모타가 연소하는 방식으로 일회성 추력 방식이 아닌 효율적으로 이중추력을 조절한다. 이러한 추력 배분을 통하여 사거리와 종말속도를 증가시켜 미사일의 기동성 및 사거리를 향상시킨다. 본 연구에서는 격막 펄스분리장치를 직경 000mm급 이중펄스모타에 설계하였으며 지상연소시험을 통하여 분석하였고, 결과적으로 펄스분리장치의 파열 특성을 파악할 수 있었다. Dual pulse rocket motor(DPRM) has a rocket motor with different pulse grains divided by a pulse separation device(PSD) such as a fragile bulkhead or a thermal barrier type. It distributes thrust energy very effectively via pulse separation device to improve range and terminal velocity of a missile. This paper contains the thermal barrier design and experimental analysis through ground firing tests of 000 mm diameter dual pulse motors. The results showed good understanding of the characteristics of the PSD and will be applied to the design of the full scale DPRM
