In this paper, we propose a object detection network based 2D rotated bounding box for arbitrary-oriented object detection. To reduce computational burden, we use a backbone network as a one stage network and add angle detection parameters in a layer without network changes. In addition, we propose decision rules of rotated bounding box, leading to precise feature extraction.
Utilization of high entropy alloy characteristics in Er-Gd-Y-Al-Co high entropy bulk metallic glass

<P><B>Abstract</B></P> <P>In the present study, we carefully evaluate the role of high entropy alloy (HEA) characteristics on glass-forming ability (GFA) and mechanical responses in a newly developed Er-Gd-Y-Al-Co high entropy bulk metallic glass (HE-BMG) by comparison with the Er-Al-Co and Er-Y-Al-Co bulk metallic glasses (BMGs). The addition of multiple rare-earth elements (REs) to Er-Al-Co BMG results in both higher fragility according to Adam-Gibbs theory and slower crystallization kinetics according to confusion principle. Based on these mutual competitions, the Er<SUB>18</SUB>Gd<SUB>18</SUB>Y<SUB>20</SUB>Al<SUB>24</SUB>Co<SUB>20</SUB> HE-BMG can be successfully fabricated up to 5 mm in diameter for glass formation. In particular, the HE-BMG exhibits unexpected structural bias and more fragile manner via preferential covalent bonding of Co-Al and various RE-Al clusters, which leads to larger deviation from the typical BMGs' behavior in the relation between fragility and elastic properties. Furthermore, the HE-BMG effectively retards crystallization kinetics, which was confirmed by exceptionally sluggish nanocrystallization of multi-precipitates from metastable liquid and longer post-recalescence plateau duration in cooling curve of solidification from stable liquid. Indeed, the increased structural instability due to HEA characteristics (preferential short-range order and sluggish crystallization) in HE-BMGs reduces cut-off size of self-organized shear avalanches and increases the number of chaotic shear avalanches, which can distribute the applied strain more homogeneously, resulting in enhanced intrinsic ductility. Consequently, these results provide a guideline on how to design HE-BMGs with promising properties by utilizing HEA characteristics, and thus can give us a strategy for bridging BMG and HEA.</P> <P><B>Graphical abstract</B></P> <P>[DISPLAY OMISSION]</P>

Background: Estrus in cows can be detected through vaginal electrical resistance or conductivity. However, there are no studies measuring vaginal electrical resistance in Hanwoo cows. This study aims to measure the vaginal electrical resistance value in Hanwoo cows and compare it with estrus and ovulation. Methods: Vaginal electrical resistance values of 73 Hanwoo cows were measured before and after estrus at the Gyeongsangbuk-do Livestock Research Institute. Measurements were taken on days -6, -3, -2, -1, 0, 1, 2, 3, and 6 of artificial insemination. Large follicles and ovulation were confirmed using transvaginal ultrasonography. Results: The vaginal electrical resistance averaged 225.6 ± 6.3 Ω days before the artificial insemination date, decreasing until the day of artificial insemination. The average vaginal electrical resistance was 163.7 ± 4.6 Ω on the date of artificial insemination, and 188.8 ± 4.3 Ω one day after artificial insemination, when large follicles were observed. In addition, on the 6th day after artificial insemination, the vaginal electrical resistance averaged 231.4 ± 5.5, which was similar to the 6th day before artificial insemination (222.5 ± 6.3). Transvaginal ultrasonography showed that most of the cows ovulated one day after artificial insemination. Conclusions: The accuracy of estrus is high if the vaginal electrical resistance is measured for cows with confirmed estrus, making is a potentially useful for determining the timing of artificial insemination.

So far, Vehicle durability analysis for the actual load has been performed for B/G(Belgian) road. it was difficult to evaluate the Cross Country durability test road problems because load signal of Cross Country durability test road is too long and enormous to represent through the durability analysis which was accomplished up to now. In this research, a numerical analysis procedure for the braking mode of Cross Country durability test road is established based on the correlation between the numerical results and test result in this study. At last this technique is successfully applied and predicted to the suspension development of FR type vehicle..
