        강우시 채수빈도가 논 오염부하량 산정에 미치는 영향

        한정된 수질자료를 이용 오염부하 산정시 집중적으로 많은 샘플을 채취한 경우에 비해 어느 정도 차이를 갖는지를 규명하는 것은 모니터링에 따른 오염부하량 산정결과의 신뢰 범위 파악뿐만 아니라 경제적인 수질 샘플 채수빈도 수립에 곡 필요한 것으로 사료된다. 그 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 논에서의 강우-유출시 채수 빈도가 오염부하 산정에 미치는 영향을 파악하기 위해 9개의 강우사상에 대해 2시간 간격으로 연속 수질샘플을 실시하여 분석한 결과 전체적으로 강우-유출과정 중 T-N, T-P, SS 농도는 시간별로 증·감변동을 하였으나 유량과의 상관성은 나타나지 않았다. 수질샘플 횟수에 의한 영향은 강우-유출과정 중 5회 정도 샘플을 실시하면 많은 수의 샘플을 채수한 경우에 비해 T-N ±15.2%, T-P는 -20.0~26.2%, SS는 -28.6~35.7% 범위안에서 오염부하를 추정할 수 있는 것으로 나타났으며, 차이범위가 ±10% 내에 들어가기 위한 샘플수는 일주기 조사시 T-N, T-P의 경우는 6회, SS의 경우는 단기유출시는 4회 정도 실시하면 되고, 장기 유출시에는 11회 정도 실시하면 되는 것으로 조사되었다. 유량-유하부하량 관계식으로 ±10%내의 차이를 보일 샘플횟수는 T-N의 경우는 6회 이상, T-P와 SS는 9회 이상 정도 실시하면 되는 것으로 조사되었다. In order to examine effects of sampling frequency during rainfall-runoff process from paddy field on the estimation of pollution load, EMCs of several water sampling frequencies were examined. Water quality samples were conducted by every two hours interval for each event. It was found that difference of load estimation between five times sampling and two hours consecutive sampling during rainfall-runoff showed 15.2~-15.2% for T-N, 20.0~-26.2% for T-P, 28.6~-35.7% for the SS, respectively. In the same way, the effects of number of sampling data on estimation of pollution load using runoff-mass load(L-Q) method were investigated. L-Q equation made of five times sampling data provided 10% differences in estimation of mass loads of T-N, T-P, and SS when compared to those by L-Q equation using entire two hours consecutive sampling data during runoff process.

      • 대두 식이섬유를 이용한 특수 영양식품의 유효성 평가

        In the development of enteral foods for the patients with diarrhea, soybean hull, by-products of soybean processing, was used to prepare crude dietary fiber extracts (soybean hull fiber, SHF). Total dietary fiber content of SHF is 85% and their composition are 86.1% cellulose, 8.1% hemi-cellulose, and 4.7% lignin. The effects of SHF on the prevention of diarrhea were studied in animal. Spraque-Dawley (SD) rats were fed AIN93G diets containing 5% dietary fiber for 3days simultaneously inducing diarrhea with the phenolphthalein Mg citrate solution. On day 4, feces were collected at different time point. Dietary fibers used for the animal study were SHF, soybean cotyledon fiber (SCF), psyllium husk fiber (PHF), and chicory fiber (CF). α-cellulose was used as a control. Body weight gain, calorie consumed and food efficiency ratio among the experimental groups were not different. However, water content in the feces of SHF group was significantly lower by 10%, compared with other groups at 24hrs. time point. This effect was even greater in the feces collected later than 24 hrs. time point. SHF seems to have a greater effects on slow the symptom of diarrhea. Based on the previous results, enteral food enriched with SHF were prepared and its effect was compared with other commercially available products from domestic or imported ones. Weight changes among experimental groups were not different, but the moisture content of feces consumed SHF enriched products were lower than that of other products. Approximately 10% decrease in water content was observed from feces collected at 24 hr time point. According to the sensory evaluation, overall acceptability of the enteral food enriched with SHF was 3.24 out of 5 indicating that taste of this product is acceptable. 대두가공에 부산물로부터 얻어지는 대두 식이섬유를 이용하여 설사환자를 위한 경장 영양 식이를 개발하기 위하여 쥐에게 투여한 후 체중증가율, 변의 수분감소, 사료효율 등을 측정하여 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 대두피 중의 식이섬유함량은 85% 이었고 cellulose 가장 높았으며 hemi-cellulose, lignin의 순 이었다. 대두 식이섬유가 대조구에 비하여 체중 감소율은 약간 낮았고 사료효율은 약간 높았다. 대두 식이섬유를 섭취시킨 쥐가 치커리 식이섬유, 차전자 피에 비하여 24시간 후의 변의 수분함량은 10% 낮았다. 대두 식이섬유를 첨가한 경장영양식이로 사육한 쥐의 체중변화와 사료효율은 3제품 간에 차이가 없었으나 다른 하나의제품은 대조군에 비하여 낮았다. 대두 식이섬유를 이용하여 가공한 경장영양식이 다른 상업용 제품에 비하여 실험쥐의 변 수분함량은 10% 이상 낮았다.

      • Staphylococcus aureus와 Coagulase-Negative Staphylococcus Species에 대한 Arbekacin의 시험관내 항균력

        Background : Most strains of methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) now exhibit high-level resistance to various antibiotics, such as β -lactam antibiotics, aminoglycosides, macrolides, tetracyclines and quinolones. Recent reports describing the therapeutic failure of vancomycin for MRSA infections have arisen considerable concerns regarding the emergence of MRSA strains, which will require new therapeutic agents. Arbekacin, an aminoglycoside antibiotic, has antibacterial activity against both gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria and is stable in the presence of aminoglycoside inactivating enzymes produced by S. aureus. In this study, we compared the antibacterial activity of arbekacin with those of vancomycin, gentamicin, and amikacin against Staphylococcus aureus (S. aureus) and coagulase-negative staphylococci (CNS). Methods : For a collection of 549 S. aureus and 251 CNS isolates from three Catholic University Hospitals in Korea, minimum inhibitory concentrations (MICs) of arbekacin, vancomycin, amikacin and gentamicin were determined by agar dilution method using Mueller-Hinton agar according to NCCLS (National Committee for Clinical Laboratory Standards, USA)criteria. Results : Among 549 S. aureus isolates, 278 isolates were MRSA and 271 isolates were methicil sensitive S. aureus (MSSA). MIC50 & MIC90 of arbekacin against 549 S. aureus were 0.5 & 1 ㎍/mL, and MIC50 & MIC90 of vancomycin were 1 & 1 ㎍/mL. MIC of arbekacin against 549 S. aureus isolates ranges from 0.03 to 4 ㎍/mL, and MIC of vancomycin against 549 S. aureus ranges from 0.25 to 2 ㎍/mL. MIC90 of amikacin against 549 S. aureus was 32㎍/mL, and that of gentamicin was 128 ㎍/mL. MICs of amikacin and gentamicin were variable, ranging from 0.125 to 256, and otherwise arbekacin and vancomycin revealed relatively narrow range of MICs. MIC90 of arbekacin against 278 MRSA isolates & 271 MSSA were 1 & 0.5 ㎍/mL, and those of vancomycin against MRSA & MSSA were 1 & 1 ㎍/mL. MIC90 of amikacin against 278 MRSA & 271 MSSA isolates were 32 & 4 ㎍/mL, and that of gentamicin against MRSA & MSSA isolates were 128 & 32 ㎍/mL respectively. Among 251 CNS isolates, 122 isolates were MRCNS and 129 were MSCNS. MICSO & MIC90 of arbekacin against 251 CNS isolates were 0.25 & 2 ㎍/mL, and those of vancomycin were 1 & 2 ㎍/mL. MIC of arbekacin against 251 CNS isolates ranges from 0.015 to 32 ㎍/mL, and that of vancomycin isolates ranges from 0.25 to 2 ㎍/mL, MIC90 of arbekacin against 122 MRCNS & 129 MSCNS isolates were 2&0.3 ㎍/ML, and those of vancomycin were 2&s ㎍/ML. MIC90 of amikacin against 251 CNS isolates was 32 ㎍/ML, and that of gentamicin was 128 ㎍/ML for CNS. MIC90 of amikacin against 122 MRCNS & 129 MSCNS isolates were 128 & 8㎍/mL, and those of gentamicin ere 256 & 32 ㎍/mL. Conclusion : Considering above results, arbekacin can be useful agent against most strains of MRSA and MRCMS, which exhibit high-level resistance to amikacin and gentamicin.         The purpose of this study was to determined the effects of flow rates on breakthrough in charcoal tubes. Firstly the charcoal tubes were contaminated with CS2, and then the effects of them were examinated by using the principle of Gas Adsorption Kinetics. The results obtained were as follows. 1) As the flow rates were increased, k'-values were increased, τ-values were decreased, and k'-values were constant as 3.527±0.558. 2) 10% breakthrough times of 0.05, 0.1 and 0.2LPM were 149, 90 and 34 min, respectively. 3) As the probability of breakthrough were increased, the effects of sampling flow rate against the breakthrough time were proportionally increased.

        Five elements motion and six kinds of natural factors influence not only human disease but also difference of medicine effect. Because the climate of summer is very hot, that is easy to increase the properties of hot medicines, a doctor must be careful to use it in summer. Also the climate of winter is very cold, that is easy to increase the properties of cold medicines, a doctor must be careful to use it in winter. But in the certain conditions to use diaphoretics or purgatives, in spite of that regulation a doctor can use them.

      • 强靭鑄鐵의 熔接性에 關한 硏究

        The matrix of ductile cast iron are welded by pre-heating it at 300℃ in the room temperature. Through the mechanical, non-desbructive testing and analysis of the composition. the possibility if arc welding of ductile cast iron are studied as follows; 1. L electrode is the best among them in weldability, impact value and machinability. The next is LB electrode followed by S electrode. C electrode is last. However, the tensile strength showed in the following order: LB, S, L, C. 2. LB, S, L, C, all are available for the welding of cast iron. 3. The above experiment showed that L and LB are good in general. In addition LB is low in price, we therefore prospect that it will be widely used as the electrode for cast iron.

        The six kinds of natural factors(It refers to wind, cold, summer-heat, dampness, dryness and fire.) is constantly moving to maintain the balance of whole climate of one year. Four seasons are the largest mediation of whole climate of one year. The cold and the heat have the relationship of mutual intervention. The dampness and the dryness have it also. In this process they raise various climate appearance. And that various climate appearance influence the whole lives on the earth. This paper is concerned with the classification of them.

        In this paper, a novel type ultrasonic linear motor is proposed. The proposed motor consists of a ring type stator and a mover. They have spirals on their inner and outer surface, respectively. Along the spiral, a mover is travelled by a travelling extensional vibration mode of a ring type stator. Hence, a linear up-and-down motion is possible.
