        화석연료 자동차의 배출가스로 인한 환경오염이 갈수록 심각해짐에 따라 미국, 유럽, 일본 등은 기후변화에 따른 온실가스 감축을 목표로 친환경 자동차 개발에 많은 투자를 하고 있다. 내연기관에 보조 구동원으로 모터를 사용하는 소프트 타입 하이브리드 자동차에서부터 전기만을 주 동력원으로 하는 전기자동차까지 인버터에 전력을 공급하는 배터리는 잔존량을 관리 예측하여 안정된 영역에서 사용하고 셀 간의 전압 편차가 발생했을 경우 셀 전압 편차를 밸런싱하여 특정 셀의 과충방전으로부터 배터리를 안전하게 관리하는 것이 무엇보다 중요하다. 배터리의 잔존량을 측정하고 밸런싱하기 위해선 배터리 단위셀의 전압, 배터리 모듈별 온도와 배터리에서 부하로 충방전되는 전류량이 필요한데, 기존에 사용하던 방식은 단위 셀마다 개별적으로 포토모스 릴레이를 사용하고 별도의 외부 아날로그/디지털 컨버터로 셀 전압 측정을 수행하였기 때문에 측정 속도가 느리고 정밀도도 낮아 배터리의 정확한 잔량 측정이 어려웠다. 따라서, 본 연구에서는 8채널의 셀을 빠른 속도로 스캔하는 Mux와 셀 전압 측정용 아날로그/디지털 컨버터를 내장하고 있어 속도가 매우 빠르며 높은 정밀도를 가지는 전용칩을 적용하여 BMS ECU를 설계, 제작하였고 차량을 모사한 인버터 연계 시험을 통해 기본 성능을 평가하였다.

      • Field-effect modulation of the thermoelectric characteristics of silicon nanowires on plastic substrates

        <P>In this study, we demonstrate the substantial enhancement of the thermoelectric power factors of silicon nanowires (SiNWs) on plastic substrates achievable by field-effect modulation. The Seebeck coefficient and electrical conductivity are adjusted by varying the charge carrier concentration via electrical modulation with a gate voltage in the 0 to ±5 range, thus enhancing the power factors from 2.08 to 935 <I>μ</I>W K<SUP>−2 </SUP>m<SUP>−1</SUP>) for n-type SiNWs, and from 453 to 944 <I>μ</I>W K<SUP>−2</SUP> m<SUP>−1</SUP>) for p-type SiNWs. The electrically modulated thermoelectric characteristics of SiNWs are analyzed and discussed.</P>

        폐업지원제가 한우 사육두수에 미치는 영향 분석

        This paper analyzes how the subsidy for closing farms affected the number of Hanwoo breeding herds using ARIMA model. To build a estimation model, we use a bio-behavioral system based on birth rates and slaughter rates. This study sets up three time series models to estimate and capture the effect of subsidy program for closing farms in Hanwoo industry. The main differences among three models depends on which variable of female cow slaughter rate is used. This paper compares the actual numbers and predicted estimates and calculates the effect of the sub-sidy program. To testify the statistical significance of the results, we use dummy variable in time series model s and economic models. The results show that the calf birthrate is significantly de-creased about 4 to 8 percent point by the subsidy for closing farms. However, the female cow slaughter rate is not statistically significant.

        Epigenetic insights into colorectal cancer: comprehensive genome-wide DNA methylation profiling of 294 patients in Korea

        DNA methylation regulates gene expression and contributes totumorigenesis in the early stages of cancer. In colorectal cancer(CRC), CpG island methylator phenotype (CIMP) is recognizedas a distinct subset that is associated with specific molecularand clinical features. In this study, we investigated the genomewideDNA methylation patterns among patients with CRC. The methylation data of 1 unmatched normal, 142 adjacentnormal, and 294 tumor samples were analyzed. We identified40,003 differentially methylated positions with 6,933 (79.8%)hypermethylated and 16,145 (51.6%) hypomethylated probesin the genic region. Hypermethylated probes were predominantlyfound in promoter-like regions, CpG islands, and N shore sites;hypomethylated probes were enriched in open-sea regions. CRC tumors were categorized into three CIMP subgroups, with90 (30.6%) in the CIMP-high (CIMP-H), 115 (39.1%) in theCIMP-low (CIMP-L), and 89 (30.3%) in the non-CIMP group. The CIMP-H group was associated with microsatellite instabilityhightumors, hypermethylation of MLH1, older age, and rightsidedtumors. Our results showed that genome-wide methylationanalyses classified patients with CRC into three subgroupsaccording to CIMP levels, with clinical and molecular featuresconsistent with previous data.

      • Controlled Layer-by-Layer Etching of MoS<sub>2</sub>

        <P>Two-dimensional (2D) metal dichalcogenides like molybdenum disulfide (MoS<SUB>2</SUB>) may provide a pathway to high-mobility channel materials that are needed for beyond-complementary metal-oxide-semiconductor (CMOS) devices. Controlling the thickness of these materials at the atomic level will be a key factor in the future development of MoS<SUB>2</SUB> devices. In this study, we propose a layer-by-layer removal of MoS<SUB>2</SUB> using the atomic layer etching (ALET) that is composed of the cyclic processing of chlorine (Cl)-radical adsorption and argon (Ar)<SUP>+</SUP> ion-beam desorption. MoS<SUB>2</SUB> etching was not observed with only the Cl-radical adsorption or low-energy (<20 eV) Ar<SUP>+</SUP> ion-beam desorption steps; however, the use of sequential etching that is composed of the Cl-radical adsorption step and a subsequent Ar<SUP>+</SUP> ion-beam desorption step resulted in the complete etching of one monolayer of MoS<SUB>2</SUB>. Raman spectroscopy, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), and atomic force microscopy (AFM) indicated the removal of one monolayer of MoS<SUB>2</SUB> with each ALET cycle; therefore, the number of MoS<SUB>2</SUB> layers could be precisely controlled by using this cyclical etch method.         In the case of newly developed stud which has more performance of sound transmission loss, it is expected that sound would transmit through runner than stud. so we developed construction method of runner and stud. As a result, sound transmission loss is improved about 2 dB by using this method. But this construction method could be applied to only newly developed stud. In addition, sound leak of wall joint is about 2 dB, and it could be improved by using rubber gasket at joint.

        잔향음의 음압레벨 변화에 따른 연주자의 무대음향 주관평가

        The subjective experiments on professional musicians using the four channel real-time convolution system were conducted to investigate the effect of reverberant sound pressure level (L<SUB>rev</SUB>) for stage acoustics. The strength of L<SUB>rev</SUB>was changed to 2 ㏈ steps to investigate the optimal strength for ease of performance and the subjective questionnaire survey was conducted to investigate the effect of subjective factor by L<SUB>rev</SUB>. From the experimental results, a specific strength of L<SUB>rev</SUB> is related to ease of music performance. Loudness and directivity are highly correlated.

        Mobile Multicast Method using the User Pattern

        본 논문은 사용자의 이동 패턴에 기반한 효율적인 이동 멀티캐스트 기법을 제안한다. 본 논문은 멀티캐스트 서비스를 받기 위해 소요되는 전체 지연 시간을 줄이기 위한 방법으로 이동 노드의 반복적인 이동 성향을 정의한다. 정의된 이동 성향을 바탕으로 지역의 범위에 속하는 외부 에이전트들은 멀티캐스트 라우팅 트리를 활성화된 상태로 유지함으로 이동 노드가 재방문 했을 경우 지연 없이 멀티캐스트 서비스를 즉시 받을 수 있다. 수학적 분석모델을 이용하여 제안된 방안의 성능을 증명하며, 분석 결과는 제안된 방식이 기존의 연동방식 보다 전체 처리 비용과 서비스 지연 시간 측면에서 우수하다는 것을 보여준다. This paper presents an effcient mobile multicast method using the user pattern. We exploit the repetitive movement pattern of mobile node to reduce the total number of experience of graft and join procedure. We defined the locality scope by a movement pattern. While the network is included in the locality scope, the network should maintain a multicast tree even when the mobile node moves to the other network. In this way, the mobile host can receive a multicast service without a delay when it moves to the network in the locality scope later. We compare our scheme with existing schemes under the total signaling cost and the service delay time by using a discrete analytical model for cost analysis. Analytical results demonstrated that the total signaling cost and service delay time was significantly reduced through our proposed scheme.

      • xEV 배터리의 열관리를 위한 온도 예측 모델 개발에 관한 연구

        In recent, xEV has been emerged as alternative solution to resolve the environment problem since it can improve fuel economy and reduce exhaust gas emission. Especially, a lithium ion battery (LIB) which has higher power and energy density than other type battery is core part of xEV since it has significant effect on the performance of xEV. However, it should be noted that thermal management system is necessary to use LIB because it is very sensitive to temperature. In this study, the thermal network model which can estimate the battery temperature in the battery module or pack has been developed based on fundamental heat transfer mechanism. The target battery module consists of cells, coolant circuit, and fixing plates. Each part is modeled as thermal mass and connected to each other through conduction and convection models. To improve accuracy of the model, multi-mass model is applied to fixing plate and coolant circuit. The simulation results were validated with the experimental data and showed good agreement by ±1℃.

        In this paper, an experimental study on the data compression sensing technique optimized by El-centro earthquake waveform was performed to efficiently obtain the dynamic response of the civil structure. The optimized compression sensing technique is embedded in the wireless sensing system. Also, the dynamic response(acceleration) of the cable-stayed bridge model was acquired and the validity of the compression sensing technique was evaluated. The data compression sensing technique optimized by El-centro earthquake waveform was able to efficiently obtain the dynamic response of a flexible civil structure under 10Hz.
