        When the extracorporeal shock wave lithotripter is operated, the sounds are radiated In this paper, we undoubtedly present a fact that the sounds are radiated from objects to break due to shock waves. For this results, we use the method to identify the location of the sounds radiated using one hydrophone. In addition, we present the method to reduce reflected waves for obtaining the direct waves only and show the efficacy of the method with quantified experimental results. Lastly, we investigate the relation between the radiated sounds and the vibrations of the objects using disc type models like real calculus shapes and present the results to be analyzed.

        ETACS와 CDMA 디지털 셀룰라 시스템이 공존하는 환경에서 Interference Canceller System의 설계 및 구현

        본 논문에서는 인접한 대역에 ETACS와 CDMA 방식의 디지털 셀룰라 시스템이 공존하는 중국 상해 지역의 간섭환경에서 기존의 간섭제거장비보다 이를 효과적으로 개선할 수 있는 Interference Canceller Systern(ICS)을 설계하고, 개발된 부품들을 통해 구현하였다. 구현된 ICS는 무선 채널환경의 변화에 안정적이면서 인접한 대역의 ETACS와 CDMA방식의 디지털 셀룰라 시스템 간에 약 29dB이상의 간섭 제거 성능을 보유한 시스템임을 확인하였다. In this paper, we provide the Interference Canceller Systems(ICS) in the wireless environments in the presence of co-existing ETACS and CDMA digital cellular systems to effectively cancel the interference than the established canceller systems. We proved the enhanced cancelling performances more than 29 dB cancellation characteristics between co-existing ETACS and CDMA digital cellular systems and the stabilized system characteristics in the rapidly changing wireless circumstances.

        This study is to develop the tubular linear induction motor(TLIM) which consists of a travelling aluminum bar and concentric stator windings through examination of theoretical and experimental performance characteristics at slip 0.5% i. e. vector potential, magnetic flux density, thrust force, and power factor in a TLIM. In this study authors examine the practical values of this type motor from the mechanical and economical points of view, and suggest some criteria to have an efficient machine.

      • 중환자실에서 기계적 환기를 시행받는 환자들의 기관내삽관 튜브의 기낭내압

        Background and Objectives : High volume, low pressure (HVLP) cuffed tubes have been substituted for low volume, high pressure (LVHP) cuffed tubes in order to reduce complications created by the cuffed endotracheal tubes contact with the tracheal wall. Several physidans, however, prefer to use the LVHP cuff for habitual or economic reasons. Even so, careless cuff Inflation of the HVLP cuff could also induce complications. The purposes of this study were to see whether there are any differences between the usual intracuff pressure (UICP) and the Optimum intracuff pressure (OICP), to compare the OICP of three groups, and to study the correlation between the OICP and the peak inspiratory pressure (PIP) of three kinds of endotracheal tubes under mechanical Ventilation. Methods : 82 adult patients, upon admission of the ICU, were divided into 3 groups with different cuffed tube types according to the following: Portex Profile group (n=66), HVLP cuffed tube; Portex Regular group (n=11), LVHP cuffed tube; Rusch Red group (n=5), LVHP cuffed tube. We used the Portex cuff pressure manometer for Portex Profile group, the Hewlett-Packard pressure transducer for Portex Regular, and Rusch Red group to measure the intracuff pressure (ICP). The OICP was measured with the minimal leak technique (MLT). Intracuff pressure difference (ICPD) was calculated by subtracting OICP from UICP. Results : UICP and OICP of Portex Profile group were 33.12±22.25 ㎝H₂O, 22.02±12.5㎝H₂O, Portex Regular group, 70.09±30.88 ㎝H₂O, 69.45±30.41 ㎝H₂O and Rusch Red group, 378.40±38.60 ㎝H₂O, 337.60±74.45 ㎝H₂O. Significant difference was shown among the groups (p < 0.05). The significant difference of the PIP was not seen among the groups. Significant correlation between OICP and PIP (regression = 0.463, p < 0.01) was demonstrated only in Portex Profile group. ICPD of three groups were as high as 84 ㎝H₂O to as low as -56 ㎝H₂O. About 40% of the patients showed the allowable range. Conclusions : This study suggests that routine check-ups of ICP are needed when the patients are admitted to the ICU. The OICP of the HVLP cuffed tube is 1/3 -1/15 of the LVHP cuffed tube. Therefore, the routine use of the HVLP tube is highiy recommended. The OICP shows positive correlation with the PIP. This suggests to make every effort to reduce the PIP.

      • 생장조절제 처리가 토마토 과실의 특성 및 품질에 미치는 영향

        토마토 저온기 시설재배 시 과실착과 및 비대를 위하여 GA-TB를 10,000배액, tomatoton 100배액을 처리 시기별로 달리하여 처리한 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 1. 과중은 착과제인 GA-TB 및 tomatoton를 처리한 것이 무처리에 비해 다소 높은 것으로 나타났으며, GA-TB 처리구의 제 1화방 과중은 281.1g 으로 무처리구의 214.4g보다 66.7g 많아 GA-TB가 다른 착 과제와 같이 과실 비대에 효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 2. GA-TB 처리에 따른 과실의 과장, 과폭도 무처리구에 비해 유의적인 차이는 없었으나 착과제의 처리시기에 따라서는 다소 차이가 있었다. 3. 과형지수는 1.4 정도로 처리구 모두 slightly flattened형태로 나타나 GA-TB처리가 토마토 외형에는 영향을 주지 않았다. 4. 과실의 품질에서는 GA-TB 처리구, tomatoton 처리가 과실착색 및 과실경도에는 영향을 주지 않았으나 산도, 당 함량은 GA-TB 처리구가 무처리구에 비해 다소 높았다. 5. 저장성은 GA-TB 및 tomatoton 처리에서 초기 부패율이 다소 낮은 반면 후기 부패율은 무처리구가 높게 나타났으며 GA-TB 농도는 기준량의 2배까지 약해가 없었다. In order to improve fruit set and fruit enlargement of tomato, GA-TB 10,000 times and tomatoton 100 times were treated with different time on Tomato culturing during low temperature in a plastic house. The results are followings. 1. Fruit weight of GA-TB treated tomato was 281.1g which was 66.7g higher than 214.4g of non-treated, indicating that GA-TB has effect improving fruit enlargement in tomato. 2. GA-TB did not showed significant difference in the length and width of fruit compared with non-treated, but showed slightly difference according to treatment date. 3. Fruit shape index was about 1.4 and fruit shape was slightly flattened in all tomatoes treated in this study. 4. GA-TB and tomatoton showed no difference in fruit color and fruit firmness compared with non-treated . GA-TB promoted the acidity and sugar contents of tomato compared with non-treated. 5. Decay rate in GA-TB and tomatoton was slightly lower than non-treated during storage. No injury was observed at even 2 times of standard concentrations in GA-TB

        Symplastic glomus tumor 1예

        Glomus tumor is a benign lesion characterized by vessels and glomus cells in the varying proportion and it classically presents as a solitary, painful papule or nodule. Occasionally it displays unusual histopathologic features diagnosed as "atypical" glomus tumor, including malignant glomus tumor, glomus tumor of uncertain malignant potential, glomangiomatosis, and symplastic glomus tumor. Glomangiomatosis and symplastic glomus tumor reveal benign biologic behavior. We report herein a typical case of symplastic glomus tumor showing marked nuclear atypia, its only unusual feature comparing with classical one, in addition to the typical clinical and pathological features.         KAL기 추락에 의한 대량재해의 개인식별

        Individual identification is an important part in medicolegal field especially in mass disaster. At July, 27, 1989, KAL KE-803 was crashed on landing at Tripoli International Airport, Liba. The plane was caught in fire and sixty eight Koreans were sacrified. The majority of victims were severely charred and injured. The authors examed all dead bodies and successfully identified all the cases through visual, anthropological, odontological, radiological and pathological methods including fingerprint and blood typing.

      • Effects of a sound insect-based animal assisted therapy program on depression in the elderly

        본 연구는 소리곤충을 활용한 동물매개치료 프로그램이 노인의 우울에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 살펴보고자 하였다. 연구대상은 I시에 위치한 I치매안심센터에서 추천을 받은 우울 척도 검사에서 5점 이상을 받은 노인 20명이며, 실험집단과 통제집단 각 10명을 선정하였다. 프로그램은 2023년 6월부터 8월까지 주 1회, 회기당 50분 씩 총 12회기를 실시하였다. 효과 검증을 위해 SPSS v.26을 활용하여 집단 간 동질성 검증(Mann-Whitney U test)을 하여 동질성이 입증이 된 후 각 집단의 사전과 사후에 노인 우울 척도 측정을 실시하고 비모수 윌콕슨 부호 순위 검정(Wilcoxon signed-rank test)으로 분석하였다. 그 결과, 실험집단의 우울 전체의 사전?사후에 유의미한 차이 가 나타났다(Z=-3.53, p<.05). 그러나 통제집단의 우울 전체의 사전?사후에는 유의미한 차이가 나타나지 않았 다(Z=-1.06, p>.05). 따라서 본 연구는 소리곤충을 활용한 동물매개치료 프로그램이 노인의 우울에 긍정적인 영향 을 준 것으로 확인이 되었다. 이번 연구결과는 소리곤충을 활용한 정서 및 심리 치료에 대한 과학적 근거를 제시하 여 관련 분야 활성화에 기여할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

        A Reduction Method of Reflected Waves for Investigation of Sound Source Location

        When the extracorporeal shock wave lithotriptor is operated, sounds can be heard. Then that might be a question about the location where the sounds come from. For the purpose of investigating the fact, we identify the location of the sounds radiated using one hydrophone. In order to carry out the experiment, it is needed to obtain direct waves from objects. Therefore, we present an experimental method to reduce reflected waves for obtaining direct waves only. The experimental results show the amplitude of waves can be attenuated about 28dB due to a silicon rubber plate of 8.5mm attached at the bottom. This is a quantified result that can expect to obtain the direct waves using the proposed method. Then, we carried out the experiment for the sound source location. From the experimental results, we can undoubtedly present a fact that the sounds are radiated from the objects to be shot due to shock waves.
