본 논문에서는 행정 전산망 주전산기 Ⅱ(타이컴)에 GNU C 컴파일러를 이식하고 성능 시험한 결과를 기술하였다. 성능 시험 도구로 SPEC Benchmark program과 AIM Ⅲ suite를 사용하였으며 시험 결과 GNU C가 기존에 사용하던 C 컴파일러보다 우수한 것으로 나타났다. 특히 GNU C 컴파일러로 컴파일된 운용 체제하에서의 AIM suite 수행 결과는 기존의 컴파일러로 컴파일된 운영 체제하에서의 AIM suite의 수행 결과에 비해 약 20% 이상 성능이 향상됨을 보여주고 있다.
Acid-functionalized fullerenes used as interfacial layer materials in inverted polymer solar cells

Two types of carboxylic acid functionalized fullerence derivatives, 4-(2-ethylhexyloxy)-[6,6]-phenyl C<SUB>61</SUB>-butyric acid (p-EHO-PCBA) and bis-4-(2-ethylhexyloxy)-[6,6]-phenyl C<SUB>61</SUB>-butyric acid (bis-p-EHO-PCBA), were synthesized and investigated as an interfacial layer for inverted polymer solar cells (iPSCs). The -COOH groups on the PCBAs chemisorb to inorganic metal oxide (TiO<SUB>X</SUB>), generating fullerene-based self-assembled monolayers (FSAMs). The devices with the mono- and bis-FSAMs exhibited substantially lower series resistance (R<SUB>S</SUB>) values of 2.10Ωcm<SUP>2</SUP> and 1.46Ωcm<SUP>2</SUP>, compared to that (4.15Ωcm<SUP>2</SUP>) of the unmodified device. The TiO<SUB>X</SUB> films modified with mono- and bis-FSAMs showed higher contact angles of 50<SUP>o</SUP> and 91<SUP>o</SUP>, respectively, than that of the pristine TiO<SUB>X</SUB> film (33<SUP>o</SUP>). The increased contact angles were attributed to the enhanced hydrophobicity, improving the wetting properties with the organic photoactive layer. In addition, a comparison of device characteristics with electroactive FSAMs and non-electroactive benzoic acid SAMs clearly indicates that the FSAMs may suggest an additional pathway for photo-induced charge transfer and charge collection to ITO. After surface modification with FSAMs, the short-circuit current density (J<SUB>SC</SUB>) and fill factor (FF) values increased substantially. The iPSCs based on poly(5,6-bis(octyloxy)-4-(thiophen-2-l)benzo[c][1,2,5]thiadiazole) (PTBT) and [6,6]phenyl-C<SUB>61</SUB>-butyric acid methyl ester (PCBM) as an active layer showed remarkably improved power conversion efficiency up to 5.13% through incorporation of the FSAMs-based interfacial layer.

All rights reserved</P><P>Background</P><P>The presence of latent tuberculosis (TB) infection (LTBI) should be evaluated before kidney transplantation. Although a new T cell-based assay for diagnosing LTBI gave promising results, this assay has not yet been compared with the tuberculin skin test (TST) for diagnosing LTBI in renal transplant candidates before transplantation.</P><P>Patients and methods</P><P>All adult patients admitted to a single institute for renal transplantation over a 1-year period were prospectively enrolled. A clinically predictive risk of LTBI was defined as: (i) recent close contact with a person with pulmonary TB; (ii) abnormal chest radiography; (iii) a history of untreated or inadequately treated TB; or (iv) a new infection (i.e., a recent conversion of TST).</P><P>Results</P><P>Of 209 renal recipients, 47 (22%) had a positive TST≥5 mm, 21 (10%) had a positive TST≥10 mm, 65 (30%) had a positive T-SPOT.<I>TB</I> test, and 25 (12%) had an indeterminate T-SPOT.<I>TB</I> test. The induration size of TST was significantly associated with a high positivity rate on T-SPOT.<I>TB</I> (<I>P</I><0.001). Agreement between T-SPOT.<I>TB</I> test and TST≥10 mm was fair (<I>k</I>=0.24, 95% confidence interval 0.11–0.36). However, neither univariate nor multivariate analysis showed any association between the clinical risk for LTBI and positivity on T-SPOT.<I>TB</I> or TST.</P><P>Conclusion</P><P>T-SPOT.<I>TB</I> test was more frequently positive than TST in renal transplant candidates. However, further longitudinal studies are awaited to determine whether the ability of T-SPOT.<I>TB</I> assay to detect LTBI in renal transplant recipients can better predict the development of TB than can TST after transplantation.</P>

c-Myc (Myc) is an important transcriptional regulator in embryonic stem (ES) cells, somatic cell reprogramming, and cancer. Here, we identify a Myc-centered regulatory network in ES cells by combining protein-protein and protein-DNA interaction studies and show that Myc interacts with the NuA4 complex, a regulator of ES cell identity. In combination with regulatory network information, we define three ES cell modules (Core, Polycomb, and Myc) and show that the modules are functionally separable, illustrating that the overall ES cell transcription program is composed of distinct units. With these modules as an analytical tool, we have reassessed the hypothesis linking an ES cell signature with cancer or cancer stem cells. We find that the Myc module, independent of the Core module, is active in various cancers and predicts cancer outcome. The apparent similarity of cancer and ES cell signatures reflects, in large part, the pervasive nature of Myc regulatory networks.

J-R curve tests were performed on 1T compact specimens of SA516 Gr. 70 carbon steels under reverse cyclic loading. A Direct-Current Potential Drop (DCPD) method, one of the nondestructive techniques to detect flaw of structure, is being increasingly used for monitoring crack initiation and stable crack growth in typical fracture mechanics specimens for J-R testing. In many aspects this method is simpler than the unloading compliance method. The objective of this paper is to evaluate the J-R Curve according to the crack length measurement techniques under reverse cyclic loading. In order to prove the reliability and repeatability of the DCPD method, the crack length measured by using DCPD method was compared to one determined from unloading compliance. Consequently, this DCPD method correlated well with J-R curves and crack extension measurements determined from unloading compliance method.

<P><B>Abstract</B></P><P>In this study, the accuracy of NH<SUB>3</SUB> emissions in East Asia is evaluated by a comparison of measured and predicted NH<SUB>4</SUB>NO<SUB>3</SUB> concentrations. For the prediction of particulate NH<SUB>4</SUB>NO<SUB>3</SUB> concentrations, this study uses the USEPA Models-3/Community Multi-scale Air Quality (Models-3/CMAQ) model. The measurement data are collected from 4 ground-based stations (Beijing, Shanghai, Qingdao, and Kangwha) and ACE-ASIA C130 Flights #6, #7, and #10. The four ground-based stations and air flight tracks are located in and around the Yellow Sea in East Asia. According to the results, the predicted fine-mode NH<SUB>4</SUB><SUP>+</SUP>concentrations are 1.2–3.8 times overestimated compared to those measured on the mass basis, and fine-mode NO<SUB>3</SUB><SUP>−</SUP> concentrations are 1.9–7.6 times overestimated on the mass basis. It is also revealed in this study that aberrantly high predicted fine-mode NO<SUB>3</SUB><SUP>−</SUP> concentrations in East Asia can be attributed to the overestimated NH<SUB>3</SUB> emissions. The predicted gas-phase NH<SUB>3</SUB> concentrations and estimated NH<SUB>3</SUB> emissions are likely to be 1.2–3.8 times overestimated in East Asia on the mass basis. Therefore, it is recommended that approximately 20–75% reduced NH<SUB>3</SUB> emission fields should be used in future modeling studies for East Asia.</P>
Karyotype of aegilops squarrosa L.

The conventional karyotype and the C-banding pattern of Aegilops squarrosa were investigated, and the results are as follows; Seven pairs of homologous chromosomes of Ae. squarrosa were well distinguished on the basis of satellite, total length and arm ratio. There were one pair of sat-chromosome, three pairs of relatively long chromosomes and three pairs of relatively short chromosomes. Two pairs of chromosomes have median centromeric position. The total complement length was found to be 50.27 ㎛, with an average chromosome length 7.18 ㎛. According to the C-banding pattern of Ae. squarrosa, it is obvious that Ae. squarrosa possesses enough intercalary bands.

This study have goal with conceptual design for offshore structures of high pressure drop control valve for localization valve for development accomplished with flow analysis based on provision of ANSI B16.34, ANSI B16.10, ANSI B16.25 In order to localize the Offshore structures high pressure drop control valve. This study is numerical analysis for zambil offshore project of high pressure drop control valve. The solver which ANSYS workbench used for offshore structures analysis. The working fluids assumed the glycerin(C3H8O3). The structural analysis used ANSYS which is a commercial code. Stress analysis result of internal pressure in valve showed lower than yield strength. This is expect to need more detail design and verification for stem and disk structure.
