        한국의료패널(KHP) 활용을 위한 Stata 패키지 개발

        Korea Health Panel(KHP) provides detailed information on individual medical expenditure and diseases for establishing national medical policies. Since the survey conducted from 2008 to 2018 consists of more than 250 separate data files, KHP researchers spend a lot of time and effort in creating panel data for empirical analysis. In this study, we propose a Stata module with the name of “smart_khp_v3” to fill the gap between KHP raw data and the panel data for analysis. If we in advance set up a Stata command specifically working for KHP data files, we can save much time in constructing a panel data repetitively. This module has not only the advantage of a combined data set of household member + single episode, but also household member + multiple episodes panel data. We present the role of “smart_khp_v3” as an intermediate tool that can improve the quality of research by assigning more time and effort on research analysis itself rather than building panel data.

        전·월세 상한제가 전세시장 분리에 미치는 영향: 서울 대단지 아파트를 중심으로

        2020년 7월 말 시행된 전·월세 상한제와 계약갱신 청구권은 기존 세입자 보호와 전·월세 가격 안정을 정책목표로 하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 전·월세 시장에서 가격규제를 통해 정책목표를 달성할 수 있는지 그리고 이에 수반된 비효율성과 부작용에 대해서 이론적·실증적 분석결과를 제시한다. 2015년~2021년 서울 대단지 아파트의 전세 실거래 데이터에 기초한 분석결과에 따르면 첫째, 전·월세 상한제 실시 이후, 전세시장 분리(10분위와 90분위 가격 차이)가 심화되어 나타난다. 둘째, 13개 대단지의 월별 전세거래 데이터를 이용하면 월별 전세가격 상승률은 0.3%~0.35%이다. 추정된 가격상승률을 적용하면, 상한제 이후 신규 전세가격은 반사실적 전세가격보다 훨씬 높은 수준임을 알 수 있다. 셋째, 이미 계약갱신권을 사용한 전세계약은 2년 후 재계약 시점에서는 가격규제를 받지 않는다. 보수적 시나리오와 평균 성장률 시나리오하에서 2년 후의 전세가격은 약 40% 정도 상승할 것으로 예측한다. 이러한 분석결과에 따르면 임대차 2법을 통해 달성하고자 하는 세입자 보호효과는 단기적으로만 발생할 수 있다. 신규계약은 임대차 2법이 없는 경우에 비해 균형가격이 대폭 상승하고 갱신계약에서도 2년 후에는 전세가격이 대폭 상승할 것으로 예상한다. 주거 취약계층인 세입자 보호에는 당장 매력적인 정책으로 보일 수 있지만 이에 수반하는 부작용을 고려하지 않는다면 긍정적인 효과는 단기간에 그칠 수 있다는 점을 시사한다. The goal of the rent control policy is to protect tenants and stabilize housing rental prices, which was implemented at the end of July 2020. The purpose of this study is to theoretically and empirically investigate the relationship between rental price regulation and the achievement of policy objectives. According to the analysis results using the actual transaction data of apartments in Seoul from 2015 to 2021, the Jeonse market segmentation (measured by 10th and 90th percentile price difference) has been more intensified since the price regulation policy was implemented. Second, using monthly Jeonse transaction data from 13 large apartment complexes, the monthly growth rate of Jeonse price is about 0.3% to 0.35%. If the estimated growth rate is applied to the forecasting, we can see that the new contract price is much higher than the counterfactual Jeonse price after enforcing the rent control policy. Third, renewal contracts are not subject to price regulation at the point of renewal in the next two years. Therefore, in conservative and average growth rate scenarios, Jeonse price is expected to rise by 40% in the next renewal contract. Our analysis implies that the tenant protection effect is intended to achieve through rent regulation policy only for the short term. It suggests that the protection of vulnerable renters may be seen as an attractive policy immediately. Still, the positive effects can be limited to a short period if the side effects associated with them are not considered.

        조직적 살림살이 공유와 재무적 살림살이 공유 간의 관계 연구: 수혜자인 부모와 제공자인 성인 자녀를 중심으로

        본 연구의 목적은 성인 자녀가 부모에게 공유하는 조직적 살림살이와 재무적 살림살이의 관계를 이론적·실증적으로 파악하는 것이다. 이를 위해 자녀가구 효용극대화에 기초한 미시적 모형을 설정하고, 실증분석 데이터로 한국노동패널조사 9차(2006년)∼23차(2020년) 자료를 활용하였다. 분석결과, 조직적 살림살이 공유는 재무적 살림살이 공유에 부(-)적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이를 통해 조직적 살림살이 공유와 재무적 살림살이 공유는 대체관계임을 확인하였다. 다음으로 조직적 살림살이 공유와 재무적 살림살이 공유는 비탄력적 관계인 것으로 드러났다. 이는 자녀가 부모에게 제공하는 조직적 살림살이의 양이 증가할 때, 재무적 살림살이 공유의 감소분이 크지 않다는 것을 의미한다. 성인 자녀가 부모가구에 제공하는 재무적 살림살이의 수준이 조직적 살림살이의 공유에 따라 달라진다는 분석결과는 재무적 살림살이 공유에 영향을 미치는 요인으로 선행연구에서 강조되었던 공적이전소득 이외에 조직적 살림살이의 공유를 중요하게 고려할 필요가 있음을 제기한다. The purpose of this study is to theoretically and empirically investigate the relationship between organizational and financial housekeepings shared by adult children with their parents. We establish a theoretical model based on the maximization of household utility for children. Data are employed from the 9th (2006) wave to the 23rd (2020) wave of the Korea Labor and Income Panel Survey (KLIPS). Empirical results suggest that first, organizational housekeeping negatively affects financial housekeeping, which confirms that organizational and financial housekeepings are involved by a substitution relationship. Second, the inelastic relationship between organizational and financial housekeepings is estimated from the panel-regression model. It implies that when the amount of organizational housekeeping provided by children to parents increases, financial housekeeping does not decrease significantly. These findings suggest that it is necessary to consider organizational housekeeping as a factor influencing financial housekeeping.

        역모기지의 Cross-over Risk와 잠재수요에 관한 연구

        The objective of this study is two-fold: first, to quantify the cross-over risk (COR) embedded in the prevailing reverse annuity mortgage (RAM) product in Korea, along with corresponding risk premiums under a risk neutrality assumption; second, to elaborate ways to expand potential demand for RAM in Korea with consideration of lending risk. As the main results obtained, both COR and risk premiums increase as borrowers' ages decrease; and, risk premiums are shown to be higher in Kangnam, Busan, and Daegu where home prices exhibit high volatility, in particular, by 0.23-0.28%p more compared to other locations. Using the 2005 Korea Labor Income Panel Survey (KLIPS) data, we estimate that the potential demand for RAM to be about 63 trillion KRW (or about 530,000 housing units). Our results also show that, while relaxing the maximum home value constraint has only a modest effect, lowing the eligible borrower age substantially raises the potential demand. We also report that the demand will increase by about 10% if RAM is used as an income supplement for those unemployed in lower age cohorts. 본 연구의 목적은, 첫째, 역모기지상품에 내재한 “Cross-over Risk (COR),” 즉 만기 시대출총액이 주택가격을 상회 할 확률과 이를 고려한 가산금리를 위험중립적인 모형을 사용하여 추정하고, 둘째, 상품리스크를 고려한 시장 확대방안을 논의하는데 있다. 분석의 주요 결과로, 역모기지의 COR과 위험프레미엄은 차입자의 연령이 낮을수록 높아지며, 주택가격의 변동성이 큰 강남, 부산, 대구에서는 강북과 대전지역보다 위험 프리미엄이 0.23~0.28%p 정도 높게 추정된다. 2005년 노동패널자료를 이용하여 추정한 우리나라 역모기지의 잠재수요는 총 63조원이며 (호수로는 53만호로), 현재 6억 이하로 규정되어 있는 최대 주택가격을 9억 이하로 조정하였을 경우 잠재수요가 5% 정도의 소폭 상승효과를 보이고 있으나, 제한연령을 낮추었을 경우 매우 큰 증가폭을 보이고 있다. 이와 관련하여 역모기지상품을 실업연금과 연계하여 실업인구의 소득보전수단으로 사용할 경우 약 10%의 수요상승효과가 있는 것으로 추정하였다.

        해상관측부이의 현장 안정성 및 성능 예측을 위한 수치해석 : 정적해석

        It is very important to predict the in-situ stability and performance of ocean surface buoys prior to the their installations in order to prevent their damages and to achieve high quality observation data. In the present study, a numerical method was set up to predict the static behaviors of the single point moored observation buoys subject to stationary loads by wind and/or currents. The numerical analysis was applied to the condition of an existing hydraulic experiment, and it appeared that both numerical and experimental results agreed well within an appropriate range of the drag coefficient of buoy. In addition, through the numerical analysis, the possibility of total submersion of buoy at very high current velocities was demonstrated together with a suggestion of its counter-action.

        파랑관측부이의 성능예측을 위한 수치해석:동적해석(규칙파)

        The prediction of the performance of a wave observation buoy is very important to acquire both in-situ security and good observation quality. In the present study, a numerical method was set up to analyze the dynamic interaction of a spherical buoy with its single point mooring line subject to regular wave conditions. The method was applied to the condition of an existing hydraulic experiment, producing results that are well compatible with experimental results within the limited accuracy of the available data. It was argued that some discrepancies between the numerical and experimental results might be due to the uncertainties of the wave exciting forces acting on the buoy and the experimental conditions of mooring line. The method was finally applied to demonstrate two practical issues related to in-situ wave height measurements; the effect of buoy size on resulting heave motion and the aspect of the numerical integration of heave acceleration to get wave profile.

        코로나19 감염 재난이 시민 기부 행동에 미친 영향에 관한 연구: 해피빈 모금 프로젝트를 중심으로

        본 연구는 감염 재난인 코로나19의 발생 초기 시민들의 전반적인 기부 행동 양상이 어떠한지를 목표달성률, 기부자수, 1인당 기부액으로 구체화하여 살핀다. 또한, 코로나19 발생 후 시민들의 기부 행동에 있어 모금 프로젝트 속성의 영향력을 살핀다. 이를 위한 분석자료는 2019년 12월 1일부터 2020년 4월 2일까지의 기간에 해피빈에서 관찰된 완료 또는 진행 중인 기부형 모금 프로젝트들이다. 분석 결과, 첫째, 코로나19 기간과 프로젝트의 모금 기간이 겹칠수록 목표달성률은 낮아졌고, 기부 참여자 수는 줄었으며 1인당 기부액은 감소했다. 둘째, 코로나19 프로젝트인지 아닌지의 속성 차이는 모금의 목표달성률에 대해 직접효과(+)와 조절효과(+)를 가졌다. 본 연구는 코로나19 발생 초기 온라인기부 플랫폼에서 이루어진 시민들의 실제적 기부 행동을 실증적으로 검증했다는 점에서 연구의 의미가 있다. COVID-19 is a severe pandemic that has made significant negative impacts on citizens’ daily lives. It could also affect citizens’ giving behavior. This study empirically examines the natural giving behavior under COVID-19 by using fundraising project data from the most popular online charitable crowdfunding platform, ‘Happybean’ in South Korea. The result shows that the more is the fundraising period of a project overlapped with the COVID-19 period, the lower is its fundraising outcome, the number of donors, and the amount of giving per person. In addition, it shows that the COVID-19 projects achieved a higher outcome than the non-COVID-19 projects. Simultaneously the result shows that the categories of COVID-19 projects and non-COVID-19 projects had a moderation effect in the relationship between the COVID-19 overlap period and fundraising outcome. The slope of non-COVID-19 projects was relatively much steeper in a negative direction than the slope of COVID-19 projects. It implies that donors who continue to care their neighbors’ needs prioritize disaster-related issues over non-COVID-19 issues. This study contributes to understanding and promoting citizens’ giving behavior in the early period of the COVID-19.

      • 고지방식이로 유도된 비만 동물 모델에서 평위산, 후박, 창출의 항비만 효능 비교 연구

        Objectives Obesity is considered a global epidemic that greatly affects general population health, and there has been a growing interest in the development of anti-obesity drugs worldwide. There are many hepatic and gastrointestinal diseases for which obesity is the direct cause or is a serious risk factor. Pyungwi-san (PWS) is a traditional oriental herbal prescription used to treat gastrointestinal disorders. Atractylodes chinensis (DC.) Koidzumi (AC) and Magnolia officinalis Rehder & E.H. Wilson (MO) are main components of PWS. In this present study, anti-obesity effects of PWS, MO, and AC were investigated in high-fat diet (HFD)-induced obese mouse model. Methods Eight-week-old male C57BL/6N were fed 45% HFD for 8 weeks. For comparison of PWS, MO, and AC for obesity, the body weight, food intake, and white adipose tissue (WAT) weights were checked. In addition, hematoxylin and eosin staining for histological examination were performed to observe lipid droplets in epididymal WAT and liver tissue. Results Among them, AC had powerful effects on reduction of body weight, epididymal and visceral WAT weight, and regulation of the levels of serum total cholesterol and triglyceride. In addition, PWS, MO, and AC treatment ameliorated the HFD-induced histological changes in the epididymal WAT and liver tissue. Conclusions These findings demonstrate that AC has anti-obesity effects and would be evaluated as a potential treatment for obesity.

      • Wide-spectral/dynamic-range skin-compatible phototransistors enabled by floated heterojunction structures with surface functionalized SWCNTs and amorphous oxide semiconductors

        <P>Purified semiconducting single-walled carbon nanotubes (sc-SWCNTs) have been researched for optoelectronic applications due to their high absorption coefficient from the visible to even the near-infrared (NIR) region. Nevertheless, the insufficient electrical characteristics and incompatibility with conventional CMOS processing have limited their wide utilization in this emerging field. Here, we demonstrate highly detective and wide spectral/dynamic range phototransistors incorporating floated heterojunction active layers which are composed of low-temperature sol-gel processed n-type amorphous indium gallium zinc oxide (a-IGZO) stacked with a purified p-type sc-SWCNT layer. To achieve a high and broad spectral/dynamic range photo-response of the heterogeneous transistors, photochemically functionalized sc-SWCNT layers were carefully implemented onto the a-IGZO channel area with a floating p-n heterojunction active layer, resulting in the suppression of parasitic charge leakage and good bias driven opto-electrical properties. The highest photosensitivity (<I>R</I>) of 9.6 × 10<SUP>2</SUP>A W<SUP>−1</SUP>and a photodetectivity (<I>D</I>*) of 4 × 10<SUP>14</SUP>Jones along with a dynamic range of 100-180 dB were achieved for our phototransistor in the spectral range of 400-780 nm including continuous and minimal frequency independent behaviors. More importantly, to demonstrate the diverse application of the ultra-flexible hybrid photosensor platform as skin compatible electronics, the sc-SWCNT/a-IGZO phototransistors were fabricated on an ultra-thin (∼1 μm) polyimide film along with a severe static and dynamic electro-mechanical test. The skin-like phototransistors showed excellent mechanical stability such as sustainable good electrical performance and high photosensitivity in a wide dynamic range without any visible cracks or damage and little noise interference after being rolled-up on the 150 μm-thick optical fiber as well as more than 1000 times cycling.</P>
