      • Low Serum Phosphorus Correlates with Cerebral Aβ Deposition in Cognitively Impaired Subjects: Results from the KBASE Study

        <P>Alzheimer's disease (AD), characterized by progressive cognitive decline, is the most prevalent neurodegenerative disease in the elderly. Cerebral β-amyloid (Aβ) deposition is the major pathological hallmark of AD. Recent studies also have shown that the serum level of phosphorus correlates to the risk of incident dementia. To date, the linkage between cerebral Aβ deposition and the serum phosphorus level remains unknown. In this study, we analyzed the levels of serum phosphorus in 109 mild cognitive impairment (MCI) and 73 AD dementia (ADD) subjects. All subjects underwent Pittsburgh compound B positron emission tomography (PiB-PET) imaging to measure cerebral Aβ deposition. The results with Aβ deposition was compared with the serum levels of phosphorus. The subjects with cerebral Aβ deposition showed lower levels of serum phosphorus than those without Aβ deposition. Furthermore, multiple regression analyses showed that a low level of serum phosphorus correlated with cerebral Aβ deposition, even when age, sex, apolipoprotein E ε4 genotype, and MMSE z-score were controlled for. Serum levels of other ions, including calcium, iron, zinc, and copper, showed no such correlation. In conclusion, our results suggest that the serum level of phosphorus may be used as an easily accessible blood biomarker for cerebral Aβ deposition in a cognitively impaired population.</P>

        Clinical Nursing Instructors’ Teaching Efficacy and Nursing Students’ Clinical Practice Satisfaction

        임상실습이 최적의 학습상황이 될 수 있도록 임상실습지도자의 교수효능감과 간호대학생의 임상실습 만족도를 파악 하고 이들의 관계를 확인해 보다 나은 임상실습을 위해 효율적인 간호교육의 운영방안을 융복합적 차원에서 모색하고자 수 행하였다. 임상실습지도자의 교수효능감과 간호대학생의 임상실습 만족도를 알아보기 위한 서술적 조사연구이다. 일반적 특 성에 따른 교수효능감의 차이를 측정하여 분석한 결과 연구대상자의 학력, 직급, 임상경력, 임상지도경력이 높을수록 교수효 능감이 높게 나타났다. 교수효능감의 평균평점은 3.77±0.89 이며, 하위요인 중에서는 임상술기지도효능감이 3.97±0.93으 로 가장 높았다. 간호학생이 임상실습 만족도를 측정하여 분석한 결과 연구대상자의 임상실습 만족도는 최대 5점 중 평균평 점은 3.69±0.46이며, 하위요인을 살펴보면, 실습교과 3.98±0.60로 가장 높았다. 임상실습지도자의 교수효능감과 간호대 학생의 임상실습 만족도는 통계적으로 유의하지 않았다(r=0.13, p=.749). 임상실습현장에서 고연령, 풍부한 임상경력, 높은 교육수준을 가진 임상실습지도자의 교수효능감이 높았다. 학생들은 실습만족도 중 교과운영과 실습지도에 대한 만족도가 높았다. 간호학생들의 실습만족도를 높이기 위해서 임상현장에서는 교수효능감 뿐 아니라 실습만족도를 높일 수 있는 여러 요인들을 함께 개선해 나가길 바란다. To determine clinical nursing instructors' teaching efficacy, students' clinical practice satisfaction, and confirm between correlation, and develop a plan for operating nursing education efficiently for clinical practice. Clinical practice could create an optimal learning situation. We applied CNITEs and CPS to measure clinical nursing instructor teaching efficacy and clinical practice satisfaction. The differences in teaching efficacy by the general characteristics were measured and analyzed; the higher the level of the participants' education, position, clinical career, and clinical teaching career, the higher their teaching efficacy. The higher the age at clinical practice, the higher the clinical efficacy of clinical practitioners with clinical career and higher education level students were more satisfied with the practice subject and nursing instruction than other categories. Therefore, in order to increase the satisfaction of nursing students' practice in the clinical field, we hope to improve various things that can be used not only teaching efficacy but also in clinical practice satisfaction.

        The ethical characteristics of Jesus’ first sermon, the Kingdom discourse (Q 6:20-49), has significant considerations regarding its socio-political dimension. Since the term the “Kingdom of God” accompanies socio-political implication within this discourse, it is appropriate to examine Jesus’ teaching of ‘love for enemy’ in terms of a pursuit for a just and equal society, which was eventually actualized by the early Christian community. ‘Love for enemy’ is often discussed in the broader scope of ancient wisdom tradition or reinterpretation of Torah by Jewish scribes. It is, however, too radical to be interpreted simply as a teaching for individuals or elite scribes living in an ancient society where the boundaries between social relationships were highly adhered to. This teaching is assumed to have specifically become the foundation that contributed to build the basis of the early Christian community where the least significant, even one’s enemy was to be more regarded than the prestige of John the Baptist (Q7:18-35), thereby enabling the protection of its entire membership, even the socially outcast. This paper will explore the teaching of ‘love for enemy’ to distinguish it as foundational to the socio-political relationships of the early Christian movement of the Kingdom of God, which attempted to bring a new social paradigm of compassion and equality led by Q discourse. This radical teaching, rather than simply being a solely universal and religious teaching, will be examined from the point of an implication in the destruction for the given social criteria of the time in order to build an alternative community whose example renders precious meaning for society today.         귀 자극요법 적용이 중년 여성 근로자의 요통에 미치는 효과

        Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of ear reflexotherapy on back pain of working women in middle age. Methods: The quasi-experimental, nonequivalent control group pretest-posttest design was used for the study. Total of 56 participants composed of experimental group (n=26) and control group (n=30), who were working in four hospitals in urban area. The degree of back pain after ear reflexotherapy was measured by VAS. The data were analyzed by frequency, percent, t-test and χ²-test. Results: The degree of back pain after ear reflexotherapy in the experimental group was significantly reduced, while there was no difference in control group. There was a significant difference between the experimental group and control group in the degree of back pain after ear reflexotherapy (t=3.702, p=.001). Conclusion: Application of ear reflexotherapy was effective for employed women in middle age and it needs to be further evaluated among the other population.

        성인학습자 간호대학생의 학업적 자기효능감과 임상실습만족도가 간호전문직관에 미치는 영향

        본 연구는 성인학습자 간호대학생의 학업적 자기효능감과 임상실습만족도가 간호전문직관에 미치는 영향을 확인하기 위한 서술적 조사연구이다. 자료수집은 C도에 소재한 5개 대학에 재학중인 성인학습자 간호대학생 120명을 대상으로 2022년 10월 1일부터 2023년 1월 31까지 수집하였다. SPSS 26.0 프로그램으로 이용하여 서술적 통계, 상관관계 분석, 다중회귀분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과 임상실습만족도와 학업적 자기효능감(r=.773, p<.01), 임상실습만족도와 간호전문직관(r=7.87, p<.01), 학업적 자기효능감과 간호전문직관(r=8.34, p<.01)이 서로 양적 상관관계가 있었다. 회귀분석 결과 대학생활 만족도, 실습동료관계, 전공만족도, 임상실습만족도, 학업적 자기효능감이 간호전문직관에 영향요인으로 확인되었으며(F=57.86, p<.001), 설명력은 75.5%였다. 성인학습자 간호대학생의 간호전문직관을 향상시키기 위해서는 학업적 자기효능감과 임상실습 만족도를 높일 수 있는 중재방안을 개발하는 것을 제도적인 교육전략이 필요하겠다. This study is a descriptive research study to confirmed the effects of academic self-efficacy and clinical practice satisfaction on nursing professionalism of adult learner nursing students. Data were collected from October 1, 2022 to January 31, 2023, targeting 120 adult learners and nursing students attending 5 universities located in C province. Descriptive statistics, correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis were performed using the SPSS 26.0 program. Results of this study Satisfaction with clinical practice and academic self-efficacy (r=.773, p<.01), Satisfaction with clinical practice and nursing professionalism (r=7.87, p<.01), Academic self-efficacy and nursing professionalism (r=8.34, p<.01), there was a positive correlation with each other. As a result of regression analysis, college life satisfaction, practical peer relationship, major satisfaction, clinical practice satisfaction, and academic self-efficacy were confirmed as factors influencing nursing professionalism (F=57.86, p<.001). The explanatory power was 75.5%. In order to improve the nursing professionalism of adult learner nursing students, an institutional educational strategy will be needed to develop interventions that can increase academic self-efficacy and clinical practice satisfaction.

        ‘직장 내 괴롭힘 방지법’ 교육을 이수한 간호사의 직장 내 괴롭힘과 직무스트레스 관계에서 간호조직문화의 매개효과

        본 연구는 직장 내 괴롭힘 방지법 교육 후 간호사의 간호조직문화, 직장 내 괴롭힘. 직무스트레스 정도 변화를 확인하고 간호사의 직장 내 괴롭힘과 직무스트레스에 영향을 미치는 과정에서 간호조직문화의 매개효과를 알아보고자 시도된 서술적 상관관계 연구이다. 대상자는 경기도에 소재한 대학병원 간호사 130명에게 설문조사를 실시하였고, 자료분석은 SPSS 23.0 프로그램으로 분석하였다. 간호사의 간호조직문화는 평균 2.99±.74이었으며, 직장 내 괴롭힘은 평균 1.85±.65 이었으며, 직무스트레스는 평균 2.50±.35로 나타났다. 간호사의 간호조직문화는 직장 내 괴롭힘(r=-.45, p=.001), 직무스트레스(r=-.61, p=001)와 부적 상관관계를 나타났으며, 직장 내 괴롭힘은 직무스트레스(r=.42, p=.001)와 정적 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 매개효과를 확인하기 위하여 Sobel test를 실시하였고, 간호사의 직장 내 괴롭힘이 직무스트레스에 미치는 영향에서 간호조직문화는 .13의 부분 매개로 통계적으로 유의미하였다(sobel"z=-2.287, p<.05). 따라서 직장 내 괴롭힘을 감소시키기 위해 관계지향적 간호조직문화와 혁신지향적 간호조직문화를 형성하는 것이 필요하고 직무스트레스를 감소시킬 수 있는 간호근무환경과 간호업무 간의 관련된 조직문화의 이해를 높이는 것이 중요하며 병원조직에서도 예방교육에 대한 제도적인 교육전략이 필요하겠다. The aim of this study was to determine the mediating effects in the relationships among nursing organizational culture, workplace bullying, and job stress of nurses. For the descriptive correlational study design, data were collected using a structured questionnaire from nurses at university hospitals (N=130). Statistical analysis was performed on the collected data using SPSS 22.0 statistics program. The mean scores of nurses for nursing organizational culture, workplace bullying, and job stress were 2.99±0.74, 1.85±0.65, and 2.50±0.35, respectively. Nursing organizational culture of nurses had a negative correlation with both workplace bullying (r=-0.45, p=0.001) and job stress (r=-0.61, p=0.001), whereas workplace bullying showed a positive correlation with job stress (r=0.42, p=0.001). Sobel test was conducted to verify the mediating effects, and nursing organizational culture was statistically significant as a partial mediating effect of 0.13 (sobel"z=-2.287, p<0.05) on the effect of workplace bullying of nurses on job stress. These results indicate that nursing organizational cultures need to be established to reduce workplace bullying. It is important to create a nursing work environment that can reduce job stress, a better understanding of the nursing organization cultures related to nursing tasks is crucial, and it is necessary to develop an institutional education strategy for prevention education in hospital organizations.
