INVERSE ENGINEERING FOR THE DESIGN OF HIGH ELECTRON MOBILITY TRANSISTORs(HEMTs)

In this paper, a new inverse engineering technique is introduced to determine the structural and physical parameters of the high electron mobility transistor. The technique is based on satisfying a maximum transconductance at a given operating gate voltage. Analytical expressions are derived for the maximum transconductance and the gate voltage at which it occurs as function of structural parameters, such as doped AtGaAs thickness, spacer layer thickness and dopant density. Furthermore, this analysis has been extended to predict the power gains with different doped and undoped AlGaAs thicknesses. The theoretical predictions of the model are compared with the experimental data and shown to be in good agreement over a wide range of bias conditions.

컴퓨터 그래픽 이론에 입각하여 3DS 파일내의 데이터는 구석점과 면 텍스쳐에 대한 정보를 담고 있으므로 이를 추적 분석하여 사용자의 간단한 조작으로 이를 변경할 수 있도록 하였다. 또한 3DS STUDIO가 동화상을 제작하는 기능에서 물체 선언부와 동작 선언부를 분리·결합함으로써 라이브러리를 구축, 상이한 물체라 하더라도 기존에 제작된 움직임을 연결시킴으로써 새로운 동화상을 생성시킬 수 있도록 하였다. As the LED or LCD technology has been developed, if we use LED or LCD pannel, more wide clolor range coluld be obtained as CRT monitor. Specially, full color LED display is developed by high brightness blue LED. It can be applicable to display pannel with a long-life, wide visible angle and high brightness. A display pannel shows the images of CRT monitor performed by the main computer. Graphic application in the main computer is therefore more important in the market. Conventional 3DS STUDIO, one of graphic softwares, has difficulties in manipulating and understanding the specific terminology so that one may need more time to learn it. We, therefore, developed graphic application which can recycle the conventional 3D images by creating or editing the image easily.
Electrical Characteristics of Step-down Piezoelectric Transformer

In this paper, we have explained electrical characteristics of a step-down Rosen type piezoelectric transformer for AC-adapter When the electric voltage is applied to the driving piezoelectric vibrator polarized in the longitudinal direction, then output voltage is generated at the generating piezoelectric vibrator polarized in the thickness direction due to the piezoelectric effects. From the piezoelectric direct and converse effects, symbolic expressions between the electric inputs and outputs of the step-down piezoelectric transformer have derived with an equivalent circuit model With the symbolic expressions, load and frequency characteristics have discussed through simulation Output voltage and current from a 11-layered and a 13-layered piezoelectric transformers were measured under the various conditions of loads and frequencies. First we measured resonant frequency from impedance curve and got equivalent impedance value of the piezoelectric transformer from admittance plot. It was shown from experiments that output voltage has increased and resonant frequency has changed according to various resistor loads Output current has decreased inversely proportional to changing of loads Moreover, the measured values of output voltage and current are well agreed with the simulated values of the proposed equivalent circuit model.<br/>

The gate leakage current is first calculated using the experimental method between gate and drain by opening source electrode. Next, the gate to drain current has been obtained with a ground source. The difference of two current has been tested and provide that the electric field that generated by channel charge effect to Schottky barrier height against the image force lowering effect.
FULL COLOR DISPLAY를 위한 LED MODULE의 DESIGN 및 온도특성에 관한 연구

In this paper, design principle for the optimization of the full-color display is suggested to show nearest white light by mixing high radiance R, G, B LEDs with appropriate proportional indices. By counting these three colors to be additive mixing and producing white light color contrasted to negative mixing, each number of LED's is theoretically deduced and designed with several shapes of chips for the full-color displays. Theoretical predictions are compared with the measured data for different type of display designs and best number ratio of LED is studied. Finally the influence of temperature change on optical properties of LED module for Full-Color Display has been tested and compared with experimental results.

Thermal analysis of PT IGBT by using ANSYS

As the power density and switching frequency increase, thermal analysis of power electronics system becomes imperative. The analysis provides valuable information on the semiconductor rating, long-term reliability and efficient heat-sink design. In this paper, the thermal model and thermal distribution of discrete Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistor with non heat-sink and heat-sink has been studied. For analysis of thermal distribution, we obtained results by using finite element simulator, ANSYS and compared with experimental data.
