      • Circus를 Motive로 한 Illustration에 대하여 : 作品製作 및 說明을 中心으로 With Reference to Production and Description

        A field of science, the illustration which has been always with people since the prehistoric age, has existed with the purpose to talk with of speaking toward the general public and persuade them. Moreover, even though the letters invented for mankind to mutually understand and communicate were born, it is noteworthy that the 'drawings', a visually symbolic language, still plays fully its role and function in human society. Also, as one of the visual mass media, the illustration that was delievered from a big catagory of 'drawings' and which has faithfully performed its role, has played function such as that when it is necessary to mutually understand and communicate through a talk or letter, we can explain and make someone understand what we intend to explain the meaning of situation by means of explaining it figuratively of illustratively, in a visual demension, and at the same time its takes its firm position as a field performing its function to deliever information in the society of the general public. However, the part that should be tried to research into beyond the functional demension of illustration is to secure the aesthetic sense appealing to human sensitivity or sense in a dimension of maximizing its solicitation through the more efficient communication of illustration. Such an aesthetic sense stimulates and induces much of mankind's instinctive sensitivity, thereby becomming itself an important element which heightens more the effect deliver the content. The aesthetic sense basically takes the nature of art as its basis, and such nature of art can be fully played only on the process of reinterpretation through the indivisual idea peculiar to an artist. Therefore, after all such illustration that experiences a process of the conceptual reinterpretation containing the empirical philosophy peculiar to an artist basically deliever information to mankind, and at the same time form or creates a condition through which big inspiration of interest can be aroused even in the aspect of human sentiment through the mankind's aesthetic sense of beauty including the nature of art.

        With modern society becoming more fractionated and specialized, social structure becomes more complicated and diversified, thereby resulting in generating a large quantity of information in a moment. In the forms of information communication or delivery, there are various communication methods by letters by means of newspapers, magazines, various document, etc., or sound by means by radio, telephone, etc., or by visual elements such as TV, picture, or photography, illustration, etc. However, a method to visually communicate information has a big advantage in the aspect of effectiveness for it appeals and deliver information to the populace so effectively through a synchronous or simuataneous and intuitive path. After all, as a method to deliver information which completely corresponds to the demand of th present age, it is true that the method gives fully play to its value. Thus, the historical significance of illustration, one of special fields, which performs a role to deliver information, based on such visually sensual images, is now so great, and a condition on that illustration stands out in bold relief has been already created, and therefore its importance is gradually culminating. At such a point of time, since the necessity of illustration rapidly increased socially, and accordingly a number of illustators who are engaging in the field of illustration have so increased quantitively, it is as clear as the light that the qualitative improvement of illustration will be greatly demanded and required in the near future. There would be many factors required as qualitative standards of illustration, and however, among those factors, the characterized or indivisually-oriented expressivity of illustration is deemed to be so important. Such a kind of expressivity, in the first place, objectively helps understanding in the populace's acception of information, and initiatively delivers or communicates the overall intention of information and at the same time, being recognized anew even formatively in the aspect of communication of aesthetic sentiment or feeling, it gives visual charm to the populace and plays as an element to raise the preference of illustration, thereby taking an important part for each author to secure his or her competitive power. This study, in a dimention of researching into the expressivity which can be regarded as a standard to measure the quality of illustration, has a significance to newly suggest the new possibility of expressivity through developement of an expression-oriented proccessor, and at the same time, aesthetic inspiration as well in a multilateral aspect, based on visual formativeness.

        The vehicle of recordable communication utilized first in human societies since the appearance of human beings on the earth was pictorial records, i.e., illustration. At one time in human history, charactors were created, thus preparing the means to convey lots of information via letters, without having recourse to drawings. which can be said to bean an epochal event in the history of man. Since then, letters cam to present the limits of expression that symbolization has in itself. It was just the portion of visual descriptions on the circumstances. The domain of painting has not thus far extinct by supplementing the demerit of the letter with drawings, coming to coexist with letters. The vehicle of what is referred to as illustration that has existed with human history obviously represents the nature of current events, and it would not be too much to say that it has sketched phases of human societies in their times. Today what is called current events include every happening, large or small, and significant or insigrnificant, arising from human societies. The illustration can be said to be an expressional domain dealing with current affairs as their themes. This effectively conveys the events occurring to the public from the present time, and simultaneously provides the people with clues for solving their problems via the artist's sharp critic capability or raise issues so as to form a zone of sympathy with the people. This specific role playing of the illustration led itself to be positioned as a domain. The expression of current event based illustration shows an unique artistic tendency of expression to impressively and indivisualistically convey messages, pursuing the enhancement of quality with more satisfaction, apart from merely reporting perspectives. With this in mind, this study made an attempt for groping for a better illustraion based on current events that can be harmonized with the above objectives, along with expectaions and alalyses of illustration works.

        This paper deal with the concept of AS/RS and the closest available location is AS/RS. Travel-time model and minimum cost model have developed for automated storage/retrieval machine. In this article, it is shown that arrival loads follow Poisson process and duration times are independent of each other and have i. i. d. distribution. The objective of this study is mainly compare with existing research and propose new approach method to optimal location. We give approximate method for the K closest location.

        Cone beam형 전산화단층촬영장치를 이용한 하악 제1대구치 근심 치근의 danger zone에 관한 연구

        Purpose : To examine the danger zone of mesial root of mandibular first molar of patient without extraction using CBCT(cone -beam computed tomography) to avoid the risk of root perforation. Materials and Methods : 20 mandibular first molars without caries and restorations were collected. CT images were obtained by CBCT(PSR9000N TM, Asahi Roentgen Co., Japan), reformed and analyzed by V-work 5.0 (CyberMed Inc., Korea). Distance between canal orifice and furcation was measured. In cross sectional images at 3, 4 and 5 mm below the canal orifice, distal wall thickness of mesiobuccal canal (MB-D), distal wall thickness of mesiolingual canal (ML-D), distal wall thickness of central part (C-D), mesial wall thickness of mesiobuccal canal (MB-M) and mesial wall thickness of mesiolingual canal (ML-M) were measured. Results : The mean distance between the canal orifice and the furcation of the roots is 2.40 mm. Distal wall is found to be thinner than mesial wall. Mean dentinal wall thickness of distal wall is about 1 mm. The wall thickness is thinner as the distance from the canal orifice is farther. But significant differences are not noted between 4 mm and 5 mm in MB-D and C-D. MB-D is thinner than ML-D although the differences is not significant. Conclusion : The present study confirmed the anatomical weakness of distal surface of the coronal part of the mesial roots of mandibular first molar by CBCT and provided an anatomical guide line of wall thickness during endodontic treatment.

        Decision making problem is the process of selecting a possible course of action from all the available alternatives. Recently, the above problem has been considerable interest in the treatment of multiple objective in the decision making process. This paper deals with an interactive method for solving the multiple objective mathematical programming. The interactive multiple objective decision making depend on the progressive definition of the decision maker's preferences among with the exploration of the criterion space. An interactive algorithm which is efficient and useful to assist a decision maker in finding his most preferred efficient solution to the multiple objective mathematical programming is presented. To compare several technique with regard to criteria and an illustration of numerical example is included.

        국내 살모넬라 분리주에서 spvR 유전자 분포와 단일 뉴클레오티드 다형 연구

        목적 : 지금까지 병원성 살모넬라를 확인하기 위해 분자량이 큰 플라스미드의 존재 유무를 확인하여 왔으나 살모넬라 혈청형 및 검출 방법에 따라 양성율에 큰 차이를 보이고 있고, 일부 병원성 살모넬라 분리주에서 병원성 플라스미드가 관찰되지 않아 spv 유전자들의 유무에 대한 아른 확인방법이 필요하다. 본 실험은 국내 동물 유래 주요 살모넬라 혈청형에서 spvR 유전자의 분포를 알아보고, 병원성 살모넬라 분자진단을 위한 분자표지로써의 가치를 평가하기 위해 실행하였다. 재료 및 방법 : 국내 가축 유래 S. lyphimurium (ST, 26주), S. enteritidis (SE, 10주), S. pullorum (SP, 40주), S. gallinarum (SG, 53주)에 대해 GenBank에 등록된 ST, SE, SP의 spvR 유전자를 비교하여 ST와 SE 간에 차이를 보이는 single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP, 625번 뉴클레오티드)을 포함하도록 시발자를 합성하여 집락-PCR을 수행하였다. 증폭 산물(194bp)은 자동 염기서열장치를 이용하여 염기서열을 결정하였고, 제한효소인 MseI을 사용하여 PCR-RFLP를 실시하였다. 결과 : 집락-중합효소연쇄반응 결과 SP, SG, SE의 모든 (100%) 분리주에서 특이 증폭산물이 검출되었으나 ST의 경우 19주(73%)에서만 증폭되었다. 특히 병원성 관련 플라스미드가 관찰되지 않았던 SP 4주에서 특이적인 증폭산물이 검출되었다. 염기서열 분석결과 SE, SG, SP는 625번 뉴클레오티드에 아데닌을, ST는 구아닌을 가지고 있어 PCR-RFLP를 이용하여 쉽게 구분할 수 있었다. 결 론 : spvR에 대한 집락-중합효소연쇄 반응법은 병원성 플라스미드 검출법보다 SE, SP, SG 병원성 주를 신속하게 검출하는데 유용하고, 625번 뉴클레오티드의 SNP는 ST와 SE, SG, SP를 구분하는 분자표지로 사용될 수 있을 것으로 기대되며, ST에 비해 SE는 진화적으로 SG와 SP에 가까운 것으로 생각되었다. Background : The Salmonella virulence plasmid (spv) genes (spvR, A, B, C and D) on the large virulence plasmids of pathogenic Salmonella serotypes can replace the virulence of the whole plasmid. Recently, virulence plasmid-negative pathogenic Salmonella isolates were isolated. However, positive rates of spv genes among Korean Salmonella serotypes have been obscure. spv genes are conserved in compared to other virulence genes but there are single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) conserved in only certain serotype. Such SNPs are useful for differentiation and understanding evolution of certain serotypes. Materials and Methods : Salmonella serotypes isolated from live stocks [Salmonella typhimurium (ST, 26), S. enteritidis (SE, 10), S. gallinarum (SG, 40) and S. pullorum (SP, 53)] were used for colony-PCR. A primer set covering single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) at 625th nucleotide of spvR was designed. The nucleotide sequences of amplicons were determined by cyclic sequencing method and RFLP was performed by using MseI. Results : All isolates of SE, SG and SP, including four plasmid-negative isolates, showed specific amplicons but not all of ST (19/26, 73%) were positive to spvR. Based on the nucleotide sequence of 625th nucleotide and PCR-RFLP, SE, SG and SP [A(625)] and ST [G(625)] could be differentiated. Conclusion : spvR can be used as a molecular marker to detect virulent SE, SG, SP and the SNP may be useful for differentiation of SE, SG, SP and ST. According to the SNP study SE may be evolutionarily closer to SG and SP than ST.

        LCD산업의 성과분석과 리더쉽 유지가능성에 대한 고찰

        Learning effect has implication for the performance analysis for the LCD industry which is highly process oriented and capital intensive industry. In this study, we estimate the learning parameter in that industry and investigate the difference in learning across generations. Based on the estimated learning effect, we provide some implication for the question whether the leadership in the industry is sustainable or not.

      • 유전자 재조합 사람 IFN-beta인 제네베타와 베네세린의 생물학적 활성의 비교

        Background: Recombinant IFN-beta products have been approved for the treatment of several diseases. Recently, Inbionet, Co. has successfully developed rhIFN-beta product, Genebeta. This study was performed in a purpose of confirming the biological activity of Genebeta by comparison with another recombinant IFN-beta, Beneserin which was already approved. Methods: In vitro antiporliferative activity, regulation of MHC class I expression, antiviral activity, regulation of natural killer cell cytotoxicity were studied for functional comparison of these two rhIFN-beta products. Results: Proliferation assay data showed that two recombinant IFN-beta inhibited T cell and Daudi cell proliferation to a similar extent. When antiviral activity was compared, there was no significant difference between them. The treatment of these two rhIFN-beta also resulted in a similar level of upregulation of class I expression on the surface of A549 cells. Cytotoxicity experiment against tumor cells revealed that both of rhIFN-beta could enhance NK cell cytotoxicity to comparable level. Conclusion: All comparison data indicated that rhIFN-beta products, Genebeta and Beneserin have comparable potentials as a biological response modifier.
