In this paper, we implemented a pulse oximeter system which is measured oxygen saturation coefficient of a human blood in vivc We use the Beer-Lambert Law to measure the percentage of hemoglobin is oxygen saturation. The oximeter sensor are consisted of two LED(RED and INFRARED LED) and a single photodiode. The photodiode measures lights which transmitted through the tissue from two light source alternately, We calculated a ratio of light transmittance between two LEDs and then, it applied for the oxygen saturation coefficient calculation to formula. As a result, the oxygen saturation coefficient that measured from normal conditions men was 96.43[%]

Now our nation is pressed strongly not to impose restriction on import by various advanced nations. There are, within our couutry, pros and cons on the unrestricted import, but our policy-making committee is being inclined to drive a rapid unrestriction of import by means of making the theory of comparative costs of the theoretical basis. But through studying the theories of new mercantilism which Joan Robinson and Harry G. Johnson, who tackle the problem of new mercantilism in front, suggested, we can know that the supporters to the free trade policy support the economic model of free trade not because the mode itself has the logical. reasonailbity but because the whole system of free trade corresponds to their interests. That is, we can know that the modern economic model of free trade is the dogmatic mask under which there exists a firm relationship of interests. Therefore this paper suggests that when there exists a deep estrangement between the reality and the theory we must pay more attention to the reality, and that we must recognize that the theory of free trade is only a metamorphosis of the theory of mercantilism.

As the types of apparel stores have become diverse, consumer's store choice behavior has also become various. It is therefore quite important to have the information about the changes in consumers' store evaluative criteria depending on the level of their clothing involvements. This study purposes to examine the relationship between consumers' clothing involvements and their store evaluative criteria and to provide information for market segmentation through examining the relationships among demographic variables, levels of clothing involvements, store evaluative criteria. Based on studies on the definition of the clothing involvement and its evaluation, a survey was performed on 434 adult women in Kwangju, with their ages ranging from 20 to 59. The frequency of clothing involvements were evaluated and those who belonged to the upper 25% were classified as highly-involving consumers and those who belonged to the lower 25% were classified as lowly-involving consumers. Then the Chi-square analysis, t-test, factor analysis, one-way ANOVA and the Duncan test were carried out on the collected data. The results were as follows: 1. When it comes to the relationships between demographic variables and the levels of clothing involvements, consumers' age, marital status, education, and employment proved to have significant influences. 2. Five dimensions such as the atmosphere and location of store, properties of goods, prestige and diversity of brands and service for purchase promotion appeared important store evaluative criteria. Age, marital status, education and employment gave partly significant influences on the store evaluative criteria. 3. When the relationship between the clothing involvement and store evaluative criteria was analyzed, four dimensions-the atmosphere of store, properties of goods, diversity and prestige of brands and service for purchase promotion service-caused significant differences.

Tree 구조의 Data Flow Machine에서의 Grain-size 결정에 관한 연구

This dissertation discusses the grain-size of tree-structured data flow machine, AMPS & DDM1. We know that the factors which decide grain-size are each structure, communication overhead, and load balancing. Above factors affect the structural characteristics of tree-structured date flow machine. Therefore, we need to decide the grain-size appropriate to each data flow machine. As a result, we aim at Coarse-grain in AMPS and Fine-grain in DDM1.

Background : Pneumocytitis cainii pneumonia (PCP) can occur in immunocompromised hosts especially such as AIDS or cancer patients. Although recent research had focused on PCP in AIDS patients, few studies have described the clinical presentations of PCP in recipients of stem cell transplantation (SCT). We evaluated the clinical manifestations of PCP in SCT patients admitted at St. Mary's hospital, Seoul, Korea. Methods : The medical records of 17 PCP patients undergoing SCT between Feb. 1998 and Feb. 2000 were reviewed. The diagnosis of PCP was confirmed through the demonstration of Pneumocytitis cainii via either cytology of brochoalveolar lavage (BAL) or histological technique of lung biopsy. CMV disease and CMV infection were confirmed by BAL culture and antigenemia respectively . Results : Seventeen patients were all recipients of allogeneic SCT and 7 of 17 patients were performed non-sibling SCT. Patients presented with symptoms including brief period (4 ∼23 days) of fever (76%), dyspnea (70%), cough (64%), and signs such as rare(58.8%), Sixteen patients (94%) had been receiving immunosuppressive agent such as cyclosporine A (64%) or Fk506 (35%) without PCP prophylaxis. Eleven patients (64%) were treated with corticosteroid with mean dose of 16 mg/day prednisolone and mean duration of 4.6 months after post-SCT period. Twelve patients were co-infected with CMV. Another co-infected miCroorganisms were Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Mycobacterium tuberculosis, herpes simplex virus, parainfluenza virus, Average duration of treatment with trimethoprim-sulfamethoxazole (TMP/SMX) was 21 ±9 days. Four patients died, and three of them were related with PCP. Conclusion : PCP developed frequently in patients who were taking immunosuppressive drug due to graft versus host disease or were not taking TMP/SMX prophylaxis. High risk patients showing fever, cough, or dyspnea should be considered to take early bronchoscopic intervention for detection of PCP. When treat for PCP, it also be considered to the possibility of coinfection such as CMV. (Korean J Infect Dis 33:273∼279, 2001)
