일상과 비일상의 남해안 별신굿

Byeolsingut in the southern coastal region is a collective shamanistic rite of a village community that has been held in the fishing villages and islands throughout Tongyeong City region centering around Geojedo in Gyeongnam. Today, the places where Byeolsingut is lively performed are the coastal regions in the East and South Sea. Byeolsingut in the South Coast was designated an important intangible cultural asset No. 82-4 on July 01, 1987, and it has been known that the reason for this designation is that this village-wide shaman ritual, Byeolsingut, which has been performed in the southern coast, keeps the unique features of our community religion including festive, integrated, political, artistic function and so forth with a focus on ceremony thereof. Byeonlsingut is a communal group ritual in the village in which all villagers participate in the event, and a shaman becomes the master of ritual. Meanwhile, the historical origin has not been clearly identified, this shamanistic village-wide ritual hosted by the hereditary shaman has been performed at the interval of every one or two years. The subject matters of ceremony vary ranging from a village's tutelary deity to uninvited wandering spirits (or ghosts), and through such a ceremony, villagers make petitions for a good catch in fishing communities along with peace and well-being of their village, health and longevity. Also, the biggest village-wide festival in the year is held during the period of this ceremony. As to communal characteristics of Byeolsingut, festive character and playful environment in the village can be counted. Life of villagers during the period of performing Byeolsingut is to enjoy drinking, signing and dancing, as well as zest of high jinks as far as their ritual ceremony allows to do so, while performing sacred ceremony. That is to say, villagers enjoy the zest of festival in which they are able to fully enjoy the pleasure of order amid what is called disorder. If Byeolsingut is performed, the whole village will be considered a sacred space, not a mundane space, and then the villagers's social status will be pretermited and every villager will sympathize with each other and experience transition state toward ceremonial and festive communitas. And such ceremonial transistion state is a transitional phenomenon, and after end of Byeolsinguk, the village returns to a social community again. That is, it has been known that the fundamental reason for performing Byeolsingut lies on recreation of everyday life rather than begging for blessing or seeking peace and well-beings of their village. Byeolsingut in the southern coast is one of the superb performances. This performance has equipped with modern performance factors, including not only the script that has been handed down from the old days, but also the head shaman, and performers like musicians, prompter like producer, make-up, clothes, lighting, tools used for shamanic rites, and the likes. Particularly the villagers who join this shaman ritual become active acceptor, and, at the same time, a spectator. Likewise, Byeolsingut is being made in the style of village-wide ceremony and festival, and has been developed as performing arts on the ground of playfulness. Also, owing to cumulation of regional culture for a long period of time, the contents of performance consist of indigenous and popular topics, so then it has had to follow symbolic and techniques of metaphoric expression. Thus, in the aspect of form of presentation, the ritual has been shaped in performance style. 오늘날 별신굿이 활발하게 행해지고 있는 곳은 동해안과 남해안 일대 해안지역이다. 남해안 별신굿은 경남 거제도를 중심으로 통영시 일대의 어촌과 섬 등에서 이루어지는 어촌마을의 공동제의이다. 남해안 별신굿은 1987년 7월 1일 중요무형문화재 제82-4호로 지정되었으며, 중요무형문화재 지정사유로는 남해안 별신굿이 제의를 중심으로 하는 축제적 기능, 통합적 기능, 정치적 기능, 예술적 기능 등 우리 고유의 공동체적 신앙의 모습을 간직하고 있기 때문이라고 한다. 별신굿은 무당이 제사장이 되며 마을 주민 전체가 참여하는 마을 공동제의이다. 역사적으로 유래가 정확히 밝혀지지는 않고 있으나, 세습무가 주관하는 굿으로 마을마다 2년 혹은 1년 간격으로 지내고 있다. 별신굿 제의의 대상은 마을 수호신을 비롯하여 잡귀에 이르기까지 다양하며, 이러한 제의를 통하여 풍어기원, 마을안녕, 주민의 무병장수를 기원하게 된다. 그리고 이 제의기간 동안 일년 중 마을 최대의 축제가 이루어진다. 별신굿은 개인적인 사유로는 결코 하지 않으며, 마을전체의 상징인 조상신을 모시고 있기 때문에 굿은 마을 공동제의로만 행해진다. 별신굿을 행하게 되면 마을 전체가 세속적인 공간이 아니라 성스러운 공간으로 인식되며 마을사람들 또한 사회적인 신분이 무시되고 개개인이 별신굿의 일원으로서 교감을 하고 제의적이고 축제적인 공동체(communitas)로의 전이상태를 경험하게 된다. 이러한 제의적인 전이상태는 일시적인 현상이며 별신굿이 끝나고 나면 다시 사회적인 공동체로 환원되게 된다. 즉, 이들이 별신굿을 하는 근본적인 이유는 구복적 이거나 단지 풍어와 마을의 평안을 기원하기 보다는 일상생활의 재창조에 있다고 한다. 공동체 생활에 바탕을 둔 일상생활에서 탈 일상화된 제의적인 공동체를 통해 마을 사람들이 더욱 일체감을 갖고 새로운 에너지의 충만으로 재창조된 일상생활의 조화를 꾀하는데 근본적인 목적이 있는 것이다. 남해안 별신굿은 하나의 훌륭한 공연이다. 예로부터 전해 내려오는 대본은 물론, 대모와 악사들 같은 공연자, 대사산이 같은 연출가, 분장, 의상, 조명, 도구들 등 현대의 공연적 요소들도 모두 갖추고 있다. 특히 직접 굿에 참여하는 마을 사람들은 적극적인 수용자이자 관객이 된다. 이처럼 별신굿은 마을 공동제의와 마을 축제의 형식으로 이루어지며, 놀이성에 바탕을 둔 공연예술로 발달해왔다. 또한 지역 문화의 오랜 축적으로 인하여 공연내용은 토속적, 민중적인 내용으로, 상징적이고 은유적인 표현기법을 따르게 되었으며 형식면에서는 공연형식을 갖추게 되었다.

Light emitting diode를 이용한 광중합 시 금합금과 교정용 금속 브라켓의 전단접착강도

성인 교정환자의 수요가 증가하면서 보철물 표면에 교정장치를 부착해야 하는 빈도가 늘어나고 있다. 본 연구는 금속표면에 교정장치를 직접 접착하고자 할 때 사용하는 metal primer와 silicoating으로 각각 금합금의 표면을 처리한 후 light emitting diode (LED) 광중합기를 사용하여 광중합을 시행하여 접착력을 평가해 보고자 하였다. Type III gold alloy 표면에 aluminum oxide를 이용한 sandblasting 후 4-META 계열의 metal primer로 처리한 시편과 silica를 이용한 sandblasting 후 silane으로 처리한 시편에 광중합형 접착레진인 Transbond XT를 이용하여 금속 브라켓을 접착하고 접착 후 1시간, 6시간, 24시간 후 전단접착강도의 변화를 비교, 관찰하였다. 측정된 값을 이원분산분석(two-way analysis of variance)을 이용하여 비교하고 두 가지 표면처리 방법 간에 접착강도에 차이가 있는지도 살펴보았다. 연구결과, metal primer에 비하여 silicoating을 시행한 시편에서 높은 전단접착강도가 관찰되었으며, 시간이 경과할수록 접착강도가 증가하는 경향을 보였다. Adhesive remnant index (ARI)에서는 군 간 유의한 차이를 보이지 않았다. LED를 이용하여 광중합을 시행하는 경우 법랑질에 비하여 긴 시간의 광중합을 실시하고 metal primer보다는 silicoating 방법을 사용하는 것이 금합금표면에 교정장치를 부착할 때 더 높은 접착강도를 얻을 수 있을 것이다. Objective: The need to bond orthodontic brackets onto various alloys has increased because of the increasing demand for adult orthodontic treatment. This study tried to evaluate the shear bond strength between gold alloy and metal bracket using light emitting diode (LED) light curing after metal primer and silicoating surface conditioning. Methods: Half of the type III gold alloy plates were treated with sandblasting with aluminum oxide and metal primer containing 4-META, the other half were treated with silica and silane. Metal brackets were bonded with Transbond XT light curing adhesive on these plates and shear bond strength were evaluated 1 hour, 6 hours, and 24 hours later. The differences of shear bond strength between groups were evaluated with two-way ANOVA. Results: The results showed higher bond strength in the silicoating group and a tendency of bond strength increase over time. Conclusions: When using LED curing lights for metal bracket bonding to alloy surfaces, long curing time and silicoating can produce a reliable bonding strength.

개에서 발생한 만성 단독 비장 염전의 진단 및 치료 1례

A 5-year-old German Shepherd dog(intact male, 27kg) was admitted to the Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital of Chungnam National University with the history of anorexia and vomiting. On physical examination, he was depressed and had abdominal distention. A complete blood count indicated leukocytosis and anemia. Radiographic findings included a large soft tissue mass in the middle to caudal abdomen and loss of serosal detail. Ultrasonographs showed splenomegaly with mixed ethoic parenchyma, hyperechoic area around the splenic hilus, and loss of venous flow. Computed tomography revealed enlarged spleen with partially enhanced parenchyma. Chronic isolated splenic torsion was diagnosed and splenectomy was performed. Histopathologic examination revealed chronic passive congestion of the spleen. He was recovered normally after surgery without any complications.

데이터마이닝을 이용한 프로야구 경기 시뮬레이터에서의 투수 선정 방법에 관한 연구

야구 경기에서는 한 경기에 여러 투수가 등판하게 되는데, 상황에 따라 성격이 다른 투수가 공을 던지게 된다. 이러한 등판 투수의 선정은 감독 고유의 권한이며 감독이 오랜 경험을 통해 승리하기 위해 최적의 투수를 선정하게 된다. 본 논문은 그러한 감독의 경험을 학습하기 위하여 프로야구 경기에서 발생하는 기록 데이터를 데이터마이닝을 이용하여 분석한 후, 앞으로 열릴 경기에 등판할 투수를 미리 예측할 수 있는 방안에 대하여 연구하였다.

The old equipments can be a factor of increase in the cost of fuel and electric power, and a loss of energy. So, We have to improve technical problems to save energy and build an efficient system. Therefore, in this study, a process of maintaining and repairing old equipments in big office buildings, we surveyed the plans of diagnosis on the main equipments and the measures against malfunction, and suggested some solutions when considered, altering the equipments of heat sources. In addition to analyze the advantages and disadvantages of those systems, and compare initial investment and annual operational costs according to classification of heat sources, we will provide evaluation data for selecting the most efficient and economic system.

만성신부전 환자에서 발생한 파종결핵

Patients with chronic renal failure (CRF) are known to be more susceptible to tuberculosis infection due to impairment of the host defense mechanism. Although extrapulmonary tuberculosis is more prevalent in those subjects and it may induce dismal outcome, its diagnosis has been challenging since there is no specific symptoms of the disease and the clinical course is usually atypical. Herein, We report a case of disseminated tuberculosis diagnosed by ultrasound-guided liver biopsy in a 31-year-old CRF patient presenting sustained fever despite broad-spectrum antimicrobial therapy and progressive cholestatic jaundice.

Double primary cancers are two independently developed cancers in an individual. There have been some reports on double primary cancer since Billroth reported it for the first time in 1879. Double primary cancer of the stomach and esophagus has been revealed a very low incidence worldwide. The incidence of an esophageal cancer with another primary cancer is reported to be 9.5∼27%, but double primary cancers in the esophagus and stomach have been rarely reported to our knowledge. In this study, we present here a case of double primary esophageal and stomach cancer in a 66-year-old man because of progressive dysphagia.
