      • The Comprehensive Evaluation for the Social Benefits of the Natural Gas CCHP Project based on the AHP-GCDM model

        In order to promote the development of natural gas Combined Cooling Heating and Power (CCHP) project in China, it is critical for us to comprehensively evaluate the social benefits. This paper establishes a comprehensive evaluation index system which contains the natural environmental benefit, and thethethe social economy benefits. Moreover, a comprehensive evaluation model based on AHP-formula method and GCDM is proposed to evaluate the social benefits of the natural gas CCHP project. At last, an empirical analysis of a project in city A is presented, which shows that the social benefits of this project is “very good”, and the feasibility of this model is proved.

      • Electricity Demand Forecasting For High Energy-Intensive Industries of Inner Mongolia in China

        Since the development of high energy-consuming industries has an important impact on the total electricity consumption, it is essential to predict the electricity demand of these industries. A procedure based on LS-SVM algorithm and scenario analysis is proposed to forecast the electricity consumption of high energy-intensive industries in Inner Mongolia, which takes three affecting factors into consideration, including the output value, the proportion of output accounting for GDP, and electricity consumption intensity. The prediction results show that the prediction accuracy of LS-SVM is rather high with an average error rate of 2.03%. The electricity demand of energy-intensive industries in Inner Mongolia will reach 2136.9~2175.1 million kWh in 2015, and reach 2514.4 ~ 2966.9 million kWh in 2020. Meanwhile, the annual growth rate among 2013 to 2020 will be 5.18%~7.48%. In addition, 377.5 million kWh will be saved in 2015, and 791.8 million kWh will be saved in 2020.

      • Comprehensive Evaluation on the Distribution Network Reliability Based on Matter-Element Extension Model

        The reliability of power supply in the distribution network, associated to the normality and effectiveness of electric power supply, plays a significant role in all walks of life, such as urban, rural life and public facilities. Considering about this, it is necessary to evaluate the reliability of electric power supply in the distribution network. A comprehensive evaluation index system for the reliability of distribution network is set up in this paper. Meanwhile, a reliability comprehensive evaluation method is proposed based on matter-element extension model, which can realize the reliability evaluation from the perspective of the system operation. The effectiveness and practicality of the model is verified through the case study of a distribution network.

      • Research on the Relationship between Electricity Demand and Economic Growth of North China Based on the Co-integration Theory

        The research on the relationship between electricity and economy of North China can make a contribution to the development of electric power industry policy. Based on the history data of electricity demand and economic growth from 1986 to 2010 in North China, the grey-relational theory is applied to determine the keyfactors influencing electricity demand. On this basis, the co-integration model and error correction model are employed to establish the relationship model between electricity demand and economic growth of North China. From the perspective of long-term equilibrium, when GDP increases 1%, total electricity consumption increases 0.8270%; when industrial added value of a share of GDP increases1%, total electricity consumption increases1.3011%; when electric power efficiency increases 1%, total electricity consumption increases by 4.5965%; when urbanization rate increases 1%, total electricity consumption increases3.0079%. Therefore, theelectric power efficiency is the main factor to promote the increase of electricity demand.

      • Research on Forecasting Electricity Demand of the 13th Five-year in Hebei Province

        With the emergence of a “new economic norm” and “industrial restructuring”, the electricity demand situation in Hebei province will undergo significant changes in the future. Therefore, it is essential to predict electricity demand in the 13th Five-year for power planning and construction. Considering the factors and mechanisms determining electricity demand of various sectors are different, the total electricity consumption in this paper is divided into five parts: the first industry, industry, construction, the tertiary industry and resident sectors. The electricity demand equations of different sectors are established to make predictions, respectively. The results show that the total electricity consumption will grow at an annual rate of 3.46%-3.87% during 13th Five-Year-Plan period, which would be more than 0.4234×1012 kWh in 2020. The electricity consumption growth of tertiary industry and resident sectors would raise fast, which will grow at an annual rate of 8.72%-9.15% and 6.24%-6.72% during 13th Five-Year-Plan period. Moreover, comparing with the demand structure in 13th Five-Year-Plan period, the proportion for industrial electricity demand will decline by 5%, the proportions for tertiary industry and resident sector will increase by 3% and 2%. The electricity consumption structure in Hebei province would change in the future.

      • Estimating the Effect of Electric Universal Service in Rural Areas of Southwest China : From the Perspective of Equalization

        Aiming to ensure residential electricity, the effective implementation of electric universal service can improve the electric equalization and social justice. In order to promote electric universal service of the rural areas in Southwest China, the effect of electric universal services should be evaluated from the perspective of equalization. In this paper, an electric equalization evaluation model was proposed, which contains of electric supply equalization and electric benefit equalization evaluation models. The electric supply equalization evaluation model was established based on variation coefficient method. Meanwhile, the electric benefit equalization evaluation model was conducted based on prospect theory. At last, the electric equalization degree of the rural areas in Southwest China was evaluated, which shows that the electric equalization degrees have increased from 2006 to 2013, but still are low. What’s more, some suggestions are put forward to improve the implementation of electric universal service.

        Investigations of bubble size distribution on swirl effervescent atomizer flotation

        Atomizer flotation has the advantages of low cost, low energy consumption, adjustable, and long cycle lifein industrial applications. The bubble diameter is an important parameter for floatation. The smaller thebubble diameter, the better the flotation effect. However, the bubble diameter produced by the atomizerduring flotation separation is large at present. In this paper, a swirl effervescent atomizer is designed andexperimental diagnosis through a spray measurement system and submerged spray visualization system. The diameter and size distribution of bubbles in 5 mm from the atomizer outlet to the jet cross-sectionspray were discussed. The results showed that the swirl effervescent atomizer obtained a fine Sautermean diameter (SMD is 13–25 lm) compared with the traditional atomizer. Three flow patterns wereobserved at the submerged spray system: large bubbly flow, discrete bubbly flow, and slug flow. A statisticalmethod of bubbles under high injection pressure was proposed. The effects of the operating conditionsof the effervescent atomizer on the bubble diameter were investigated. The average bubblediameter decreased with the increase in injection pressure and gas–liquid mass flow ratios (GLR). However, with the GLR being increased to 0.15, the influence of injection pressure on bubble diameterwas reduced. The backpressures (Liquid level heights) have less effect on bubbles compared with injectionpressure and GLR. This paper has great significance for the sustainable development of the atomizerin the flotation separation application.

        Isolation and characterization of heat-responsive gene TaGASR1 from wheat (Triticum aestivum L.)

        GA-stimulated transcript (GAST) family genes have been identified in numerous plant species. In this paper, we isolated and characterized a heat-responsive gene, TaGASR1, from heat tolerant variety TAM107. The complete ORF of TaGASR1 was cloned, which encoded a 98-kDa protein, and the sequence shared 51.52% similarity to OsGASR1. Analysis of the TaGASR1 promoter region showed that it contained a heat shock element (HSE) and several cis-elements involved in abiotic stress response and hormone signal transduction. Expression patterns of TaGASR1 revealed that it was strongly induced by stress factors, such as high temperature, drought, high salinity and oxidation, as well as the phytohormones, including MeJA, ACC and ABA, which suggested the TaGASR1 gene might participate in these stress and hormone signal transduction pathways. Transient expression of TaGASR1-GFP fusion proteins in onion epidermal cells indicated that TaGASR1 protein was localized to the cell membrane or cytosol. Further analysis showed that ectopic expression of TaGASR1 in Arabidopsis enhanced thermotolerance and reduced the accumulation of reactive oxygen species (ROS) after heat stress. Moreover, we also found that TaGASR1-overexpressing wheat improved tolerance to heat stress and oxidative stress.
