The there about holding time of stretching Stretching have effects on recovery of muscle fatigue and lactic caused by hard Intensity, and are preventive of sports disorders and injures. One of primary factors on stretching is be increased of blood flow in muscle giving stretching. Setting several holding time of stretching, it was revealed that maximum blood flow in 1-3 minutes after stretching got in 40 second of holding time of it. As regards between muscle spindle and stretching length, first stretching was different from second stretching. The frequency of muscle spindle in second stretching was less than first that compared with the same stretching length.

Issuance of certification and licensing for toxicologists authorized by the Japanese Society of Thxicology (JST) became effective on July 24, 1997. The certification system consists of examination, eligibility requirements for the applicants, authorization/license by the board of trustees of JST, and the re-certification of previously authorized qualification. In the last 2-3 years, about 30-40% of candidates for the examination have succeeded. The Committee has estimated that the level of the examination would be sufficient to determine qualified toxicologists. This updated status and a detailed explanation are to be presented at the workshop. In global terms, the JST special committee agrees that "harmonization of certification/registration procedure for qualified toxicologists means to ensure/set the minimum requirement for the global authorization of qualified toxicologists". The following items in global authorization are ad-dressed for further discussion: (1) What's the benefit\ulcorner (2) Toxicological safety assessment standards, and (3) the JST position for authorization.orization.

UV- 및 Ozone 처리에 의한 수중 다이옥신류 분해 시스템을 개발하였으며, 본 시스템은 일본의 도시고형폐기물 소각시설 주변의 다이옥신으로 오염된 호수에 적용되었다. 본 시스템의 특징은 다음과 같다. ⑴ 고 분해비, ⑵ 운전 및 유지 관리의 용이(실온 및 기압에서 운전됨) ⑶ 간단한 구조, ⑷ 다이옥신류 증발 위해성이 없음 ⑸ 설치에 알맞은 유용한 설비 형태 본 시스템은 4개월 동안 다이옥신류에 오염된 물 50 m3/day를 안정적으로 고 성능 처리하였으며, 그 결과 17-270 pg-TEQ/L의 다이옥신류 농도를 0.1 pg-TEQ/L 이하로 감소시켰다. 본 시스템은 원격 경보 시스템이 장치된 자동 설비이므로, 작업자는 단지 주중에는 기기를 보호 감시하고, 주말에는 시스템 조건에 대한 정보를 유지하면 된다. We developed the decomposition system of DXNs in water by UV- and Ozone-treatment. The system was applied to DXNs-contaminated water in ponds around a municipal solid waste incineration plant in JAPAN. The system has the following features, ⑴ high ratio of the decomposition, ⑵ easy operation and maintenance (operated under room temperature and atmospheric pressure) ⑶ simple structure, ⑷ no risk of DXNs evaporation and ⑸ availability of the unit type suitable for an erection. The system demonstrated its high performance treating 50m3/d of DXNs-contaminated water stably for 4 months, thereby decreasing DXNs from 17 - 270 pg-TEQ/L to below the guarantee level 0.1 pg-TEQ/L. Since the system runs hands-off and is equipped with the automatic shutdown mechanism together with the remote alarm system, the personnel in charge only needs to diagnose in weekdays and is kept informed of the system condition during weekends.

Certain types of anti-inflammatory components and whitening components were in practical use as the active ingredients of quasi drugs expected to display their pharmacological actions. However, only twenty years at most have past since the introduction of cosmetics that not only physically change the condition of the surface of the skin, but also promote skin homeostasis from by acting on the physiological mechanisms of the skin. Since then, much effort hasa been made to find new active ingredients suitable for full-scale development, and the term “cosmeceutieal” has often been coined to describe cosmetics containing pharmacologically active components. In this report, the prospects of cosmeceuticals will be discussed on the basis of a review of the history of the development of current skin-care products.
