<P>We demonstrated visible color tunable three-dimensional (3D) pyramidal light emitting diodes by depositing the MgO on and near the tip of the pyramid as an insulating layer. Here, we show that the degradation of the materials (i.e., <I>p</I>-GaN) crystallinity and the built-in electric field due to the nanoscale geometry of the tip region is responsible for the large leakage current observed in LEDs. Confocal scanning electroluminescence microscopy images clearly showed that the intensity of the light emitted out of the side facet of the pyramid is much higher than that of the light extracted out of the tip surface, indicating that the MgO layer prohibited the carrier injection to the MQWs layer, suppressing the leakage occurring at or near the tip region of the pyramids. The color range of the LEDs can be also tuned by using the MgO layer, a blue-shift by 10.3 nm in the wavelength. This technique is simple and scalable, providing a promising solution for developing 3D pyramidal LEDs with low leakage current and controllable light emission.</P><P><B>Graphic Abstract</B> <IMG SRC='http://pubs.acs.org/appl/literatum/publisher/achs/journals/content/aamick/2015/aamick.2015.7.issue-50/acsami.5b08729/production/images/medium/am-2015-08729j_0001.gif'></P><P><A href='http://pubs.acs.org/doi/suppl/10.1021/am5b08729'>ACS Electronic Supporting Info</A></P>

<P><B>Abstract</B></P> <P>Halide perovskites attract enormous attention as promising light absorption and emission materials for photovoltaics and optoelectronic applications. Here we report ternary diagrams of the phase, optical bandgap energy (Eg) and photoluminescence intensity of methylammonium lead halide (MAPbX3, where <I>X</I> = <I>I</I>, Br and Cl) perovskites, with three vertices of MAPbI3, MAPbBr3 and MAPbCl3. All the compositions were synthesized via a facile mechanochemical reaction at room temperature, to ensure the desired stoichiometries of the final products. Through structural study on MAPbX3, the phase diagram comprising a single phase region and two multi-phase regions was obtained. In the single phase region, the a-axis lattice constant increases almost linearly with increasing the average size of the X site ions. Interestingly, Eg decreases almost linearly with increasing the average size of the X site ions, giving negligible deviation from Vegard's law. As the result, a certain bandgap value, in the range of 1.55 - 2.9 eV, can be easily designed with infinite numbers of compositions. For the last, the ternary diagram of the photoluminescence intensity reveals the effective compositions for red, green and blue light emission. The comprehensive structural and optical information reported in this study is useful for designing halide perovskites for various applications. In addition, our approach for compositional mapping various characteristics using a solid-state reaction is an efficient and robust way to studying halide perovskites.</P> <P><B>Graphical abstract</B></P> <P>[DISPLAY OMISSION]</P>
Collateral status affects the onset-to-reperfusion time window for good outcome
Kim, Byung Moon,Baek, Jang-Hyun,Heo, Ji Hoe,Nam, Hyo Suk,Kim, Young Dae,Yoo, Joonsang,Kim, Dong Joon,Jeon, Pyoung,Baik, Seung Kug,Suh, Sang Hyun,Lee, Kyung Yol,Kwak, Hyo Sung,Roh, Hong Gee,Lee, Young- British Medical Association 2018 Journal of neurology, neurosurgery and psychiatry Vol.89 No.9
<P>Conclusions Earlier successful recanalisation was strongly associated with good outcome in poor collateral group; however, this association was weak during the tested time window in good collateral group. This suggests that the ORT window for good outcome can be adjusted according to collateral status.</P>
우측 부신선종에 의한 원발성 Aldosterone 증의 치험 3예

Three patients with hypertension and hypokalemia demonstrated the low level plasma renin activity and elevated aldosterone level. Plasma renin activity did not increase during volume depletion and aldosterone level did not suppress during salt loading. Computerized tomography of abdomen showed well-defined oval mass of low density in right adrenal gland in all 3 cases. Right adrenalectomy was done and pathologic finding showed adrenal adenoma. Postoperatively there were reversal of hypertension and hypokalemia. We present three cases of primary aldosteronism which were all located in right adrenal gland, with brief review of literatures (J Kor Soc Endocrinol 6:377~383, 1991)
OTP: An Overlay Transport Protocol for End-to-end Congestion and Flow Control in Overlay Networks
Kim, Kyung-Hoe,Kim, Pyoung-Yun,Youm, Sung-Kwan,Seok, Seung-Joon,Kang, Chul-Hee Institute of Korean Electrical and Electronics Eng 2007 전기전자학회논문지 Vol.11 No.4
The problem of architecting a reliable transport system across an overlay network using split TCP connections as the transport primitive is mainly considered. The considered overlay network uses the application-level switch in each intermediate host. We first argue that natural designs based on store-and-forward principles that are maintained by split TCP connections of hop-by-hop approaches. These approaches in overlay networks do not concern end-to-end TCP semantics. Then, a new transport protocol-Overlay Transport Protocol (OTP)-that manages the end-to-end connection and is responsible for the congestion/flow control between source host and destination host is proposed. The proposed network model for the congestion and flow control mechanisms uses a new window size-Ownd-and a new timer in the source host and destination host. We validate our analytical findings and evaluate the performance of our OTP using a prototype implementation via simulation.
Peribiliary cysts developed in normal underlying liver

Peribiliary cysts, known as cystic dilatation, of the extramural peribiliary glands of the bile duct are rare, and are usually detectable under conditions of pre-existing hepatobiliary diseases such as liver cirrhosis. Preoperative diagnosis is often difficult, because they are usually asymptomatic. Distinction of peribiliary cysts from premalignant or malignant cystic lesions is mandatory. Herein, we report a case of peribiliary cyst, which was preoperatively assumed as unilobar Caroli"s diseases in healthy young patients and briefly discuss the management of the condition.
