        韓國人에서 重合酵素反應으로 分析한 DXS52 遺傳座位의 遺傳的 多樣性

        The DXS52 locus was studied in a Korean population sample(n=142) for its allele and genotype frequencies and applicability to identity and paternity testing, using polymerase chain reaction with electrophoresis of PCR products and subsequent detection of allelic fragments by ethidium bromide staining. In Korean population, 15 alleles with the frequency range of 0.319-0.005 are detected in the DXS52 locus, and the highest allele frequency among them is found to be allele 1(0.319). The correlation coefficient between gene frequencies detected in female in mali is 0.9334, indicating that the gene frequency in males follows that of females in Korean population. This locus studied meets Hardy-Weinberg expectation : there is good agreement between the observed and expected values under Hardy-Weinberg equilibrium. The genotypes 1-12(0.118) are mostly frequent found among the 29 genotypes detected in Korean female, but the 91 genotypes are not found. The observed heterozygosity for this locus is 0.809, while the unbiased expected estimate of heterozygosity is 0.827 calculated by the expectation of Hardy-Weinberg equilibrium(p>0.05). The power of discrimination(PD) and power of exclusion(PEX) calculated for this locus is 0.9770(97.70%) and is 0.7068(70.67%), respectively. Thus, the allelic and genotypic data estimated for DXS52 locus can be used as the database of PCR-based DNA profile to human identity testing.

        겔 조성의 차이에 의해 유발되는 Apo B VNTR 유전좌위의 전기영동상의 변화

        It is always key point for typing polymarker that is determined by amplified fragment length polymorphism(AMP-FLP) with correct and precise detection method. Apo B VNTR locus is one of the widely used VNTR locus because of its high heterozygosity and large size(32 bp) of repeat unit. Its genotype can be determined by either non-denaturing polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis(ND-PAGE), denaturing polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis(denaturing PAGE). or agarose gel electrophoresis. But as it can be seen in this study, genotypes disregarding the factor of gel electrophoresis can cause non-equivalent result. Homozygous genotypes in agarose, denaturing PAGE system was turn out to be heterozygous genotype in the ND-PAGE. Sequence analysis showed 4 bp insertion/deletion at one site and substitution at the other site. It can be said that the different mobility was caused by the internal sequence differences between the two alleles. This phenomenon can be a serious problem for cooperative construction of databases. Thus, not only nomenclature but also the gel-electrophoresis system must be considered as a one of the factors to be standardized.

        創傷의 經過時間

        When examining a victim of viloence, no forensic pathologist is fulfilling his role when one confines the report to merely a numbered lists of wounds found on the corpse. Of course, the nature, exact position, and dimensios of every injury should be described, and it should e photographed. However, the distinction between antemortem and postmortem injuries and their proper timing is one of the cardinal problems of froensic medicine. It help not only to convict guilty but also to acquit persons who are suspect but in factnot guilty. The cause of death is sometimes of less importance than the recsotruction of events, which may become possible with careful examination of the wounds and their proper timing. As with time of death, it can be a very dificult matter in forensic medical investigations to determine whether a wound found at autopsy was inflicted before or after death, and if ante-mortem, how long before death was it sustained? Unfortunately, as with so many problems, biological variability introduces a wide range of uncertainty about the time of wound, so that a range of probabilities can be offered, but never a definite time interval. Therefore, the purpose of this paper is to discuss pros and cons about various dating methods of ante-mortem wound that have been published.

        韓國人에서 重合酵素反應으로 檢索되는 COL2A1 遺傳座位의 對立遺傳子 頻度

        With the human genomic DNAs obtained from 128 unrelated Korean, the VNTR region 3' to the collagen type Ⅱ gene(COL2A1) was amplified in vitro by the polymerase chain reaction(PCR), and separated by 3% agarose(2% Nusieve and 1% Seakem) and 4% polyacrylamide gel' and analyzed to get the population genetic data for COL2A1 VNTR allele such as allele and genotype frequencies, and hetrozygosity were calculated based on the amplified fragments length polymorphism(AMP-FLP). 1. In 128 unrdlated Korean, 4 allelic variants(K2, K3, K4, and K5) at COL2A1 VNTR locus are observed, but K1 allele which was also observed in other study was not. 2. The observed allele frequencies for K4, K5, k3 and k2 are 0.519, 0.383, 0.094 and 0.008, respectively. 3. Of 10 possible genotypes, only 4 heterozygous genotypes(K5/K4, K5/K3, k4/K3, K4/K2) and 2 homozygous genotypes(K5/K5, K4/K4) are observed. However, the observed numgers of homozygous and heterozygous genotypes(46 and 82, respectively) are not significatly different from their expectations, 53.3 and 74.7. 4. The observed genotype frequencies are ordered as K5/K4(0.445), K4/K4(0,242), K5/K5(0.117), K5/K3(0.086) and K4/K2(0.086), which are in accordance with the Hardy-weinberg prediction based on the observed allele frequencies. 5. The overall heterozygosity at this locus is 0.563, while its expectation based on the allele frequencies is 0.584

        자매에서 발생한 중증 마이코플라즈마 폐렴에서 스테로이드 치료

        Numerous evidences support the pathogenesis that M. pneumonias pneumonia is associated with cell-mediat-ed immune reaction. We report 2 cases of severe M. pneumoniae pneumonia in previously healthy sisters, who were both admitted during an epidemic of M. pneumoniae pneumonia. The elder sister, who was 16 years old, was admitted with M. pneumoniae pneumonia. She showed no response to treatment with clarithroycin and levo-floxacin, and eventually progressed to severe ARDS, requiring mechanical ventilation. After treatment with hydrocortisone (200 mg/day), there were rapid improvements in clinical manifestations and chest radiographic findings. The younger sister, who was 14 years old, was admitted 10 days later, Presenting with fever but no pneumonic lesions on chest radiograph. Just like her sister, the infection showed no response to clarithromycin. Fever persisted and pneumonic consolidation with mild pleural effusion was noticed in the left lower lobe on the 5th hospital-day. After treatment with oral prednisolone (1 mg/kg), she showed rapid defervescence and on the 8th hospital day, no pneumonic lesions were detectable on chest radiograph. Given the fact that the pathogenesis of pneumonia and extrapulmonary manifestations in M. pneumoniae infection is immune-mediated, an immuno-suppressive therapy would be validated for selected patients with M. pneumoniae infections.

      • 편심하중을 받는 상자형의 단면변형에 관한 연구

        Eccentric load acts on box girder is divided into bending and torsional load and deforms cross section. Distortion that is resulted from torsional load is largely different according to tickness of each plate or stiffener. According to with and without regard of distorsion effect, it is possible to divide analysis of box gilder into two. First, analysis of box gilder can be able to calcurate with rigid box girder in assumption that there is no distorsion when the girder is well stiffened with diaphragms or cross bracing and plate thickness of box section is thick. Second is the analysis that must be considered effect of distorsion when the girder has not sufficient stiffener or plate thickness of box section is not well thick. In numerical example of this study, normal stress of rigid cross section analysis is compared with that of deformable cross section analysis without interior diaphragms. Then, it was studied that stresses of the deformable cross section analysis can be near rigid analysis when box girder was stiffened with interior diaphragms.

      • 타원 패치-슬롯형 UWB 안테나의 해석

        In this paper, an modal analysis based on the distribution of the electromagnetic fields on the UWB elliptical patch-slot antenna is presented. We designed the UWB antenna by iterating the dimensional parameters of the antenna as the traditional design method. Then the antenna was carefully analyzed using 3D E-M simulator. The result of the analysis shows that the slot antenna operates on a series of the multi-pole radiations based on TE modes matched to the system impedance. This result gives us an easier method to design the similar antennas, which is the impedance matching to the system impedance after once constructing a proper structure with a series of multi-mode resonances.

        본 논문은 초고속 정보통신망 상에서의 멀티미디어 실시간 상호참여형 공공시설 방범시스템 개발에 관한 연구이다. 본 시스템은 정보 통신 기술과 멀티미디어 기술을 이용해서 사이버 스페이스(Cyber space)상에서 원격지 와(중앙통제실과 각 상황실간의)의 세션연결을 통한 방범 시스템이다. 또한 기존의 하드웨어 중심의 고가형의 시스템과는 달리 저가형이고 유연성 있는 시스템이고, 상황실 및 주요부분의 모니터링기능을 추가함으로써 방범시스템의 질을 향상시키고, 센서 및 비디오 카메라에 의한 외부 침입자에 대한 경보 및 고화질의 비디오전송이 가능한 지능형 경비 시스템이다. 본 시스템의 네트워크 구성은 로컬 사이트를 위한 ATM LAN의 설치와 원거리 상태의 지역과 지역을 이어주는 네트워크 WAN(E1 라인)으로 구성되고 있다. This paper is about the system which has the function of monitoring Public property by using CBM(Computer Based Multimedia) that runs on Information super highway network between host site and remote site at session layer. Current Monitoring system is costing a lot of money to install those equipment at real state. This system creates natural status at remote site and sends to the host site in real time collaboration environment with Cameras and Sensors to check doors and windows. A new monitoring function has been updated to current system so that we are able to identify high quality video scenes through WAN(E1 line) connected with ATM LAN.
