Enhancing Zero-Based Budgeting Under Fuzzy Environment

Zero-based budgeting (ZBB) is a well-known method for the selection and management of budgets and is widely used by companies and government agencies. In this paper, a new method for ZBB modelling using fuzzy numbers is described. Imprecise budget data are described using pentagonal fuzzy numbers. This method is best illustrated through a numerical example.

This study focuses on the analysis of cooperative continuous static games involving multiple players (n-players) with fuzzy parameters present in both the cost functions and the right-hand side of constraints. The fuzzy parameters used in this study are described by piecewise quadratic fuzzy numbers that are known for their accurate representation. Specifically, we introduce close interval approximations as a reliable method for handling piecewise quadratic fuzzy numbers. The study defines and investigates the stability set of the second kind in a fuzzy environment, where differentiability is not assumed. The determination of this stability set is an essential aspect of the study. To illustrate the concepts presented, a numerical example is provided, offering a practical demonstration of the proposed framework.
Convexity-Cum-Concavity on Fuzzy Soft Expert Set with Certain Properties

Molodtsov presented the idea of the soft set theory as a universal scientific apparatus for the provisioning of a parameterization tool. Alkhazaleh and Salleh (2011) characterized the idea of soft expert sets in which the client can understand the assessment of specialists in a single pattern and allow the use of this idea for dynamic issues. In this study, we summarize the idea of a soft expert set to fuzzy soft expert set, which will be progressively viable and helpful. The idea of convex and concave sets is crucial for optimization and related theories. In this investigation, convex and concave fuzzy soft expert sets are characterized first, and a portion of their significant properties are then discussed.
