        In this study, fracture aspects for dissimilar materials welded by right and left or up and down in symmetry are examined by using Finite Element Method(FEM) in case that holes exist at up and down in symmetry for the center of crack, and the results of this study are as follows ; 1. When the strength(E₁) of a material with a center crack is lower than that (E₂) of the dissimilar material which is welded by right and left in symmetry, the crack propagation rate decreases by about 25%, while it increases by about 20% when the E₁ is higher than E₂. 2. When the E₁ is lower than the E₂ which is welded by up and down in symmetry, the crack propagation rate decreases by about 25% while it increases by about 75% when the E₁ is higher than the E₂. 3. The value of K₁/K?? is constant up to 2.0 in which is the ratio (a/R) between crack length and hole radius, and the value is decreased or increased a little above 2.0. It is regarded that a phenomenon of crack closure is applied according to the welded type of dissimilar material. In addition, It is noticed that retardation effect of crack propagation is changed greatly according to the distributed position of dissimilar material.

      • 제 2형 당뇨병 환자에서 혈중 Metalliproteinase-9의 농도

        Purpose : Diabetic nephropathy is a serious complication of diabetes and accounts for much of its morbidity and mortality. It is well known that the overt clinical phase of diabetic nephropathy is preceded for many years by the presence of microalbuminuria. Microalbuminuria is thought to be a marker of widespread vascular damage and may underlie the propensity toward severe extrarenal vascular disease in microalbuminuric patients. Metalloproteinase-9 has a broad substrate specificity for native collagens as well as proteoglycan and elastin. One study reported that an increased plasma metalloproteinase-9 concentration precedes the development of microalbuminuria in type 2 diabetic patients. Another study reported that a high glucose concentration cause a abnormality on the activity of metalloproteinase by the mesangeal cell. The purpose of the present study was to examine whether palsma metalloproteinase-9 concentrations are altered at various complications in type 2 diabetic patients. Methods : Sixty patients with type 2 diabetes and thirty healthy control were recruited for the present study. No patient had any malignancy or history of heart disease, liver disease, collagen disease. We recorded age, duration of diabetes, and blood pressure. After an overnight fast, blood was drawn from an antecubita1 vein of measurement of glucose, metalloproteinase-9, HbA1C, and serum creatinine. To measure plasma concentration of metalloproteinase-9, a one step sandwich enzyme immunoassay using two monoclonal antibodies was used. Patients were divided into two group according to the presence or abscence of microalbuminuria. The groups were then compared with regard to clinical and laboratory characteristics and serum concentration of metalloproteinase-9. Results : The mean serum levels of metalloproteinase-9 in diabetic patients (62.32±25.83ng/㎖) were significantly higher than in healthy controls(12.92±4.97ng/㎖) (p<01). The mean serum levels of metalloproteinase-9 in diabetic patients with microalbuminuria(81.16±41.43ng/㎖) were significantly higher than in those with normoalbuminuria(31.48±7.34ng/㎖) (p<01) and much more than in healthy control(12.92±4.97ng/㎖) (p<05). Furthermore, the severity of nephropathy were closely associated with the serum metalloproteinase-9 level and the serum metalloproteinase-9 level was significantly correlated with microalbuminuria. The mean serum level of metalloproteinase-9 in diabetic patients with retinopathy(61.74±39.07ng/㎖) was significantly higher than in those with no retinopathy(34.98±9.02ng/㎖) (p<05). But, in diabetic patients with normoalbuminuria, there is no difference between the groups with retinopathy versus no retinopathy. Conclusion : In summary, a sustained increase in serum metalloproteinase-9 in patients with type 2 diabetes is associated with a high risk for the development of microalbuminuria. The results of this study suggest that the serum rnetalloproteinase-9 was a useful and noninvasive marker for the development of diabetic nephropathy. It could be also used to predict the development of diabetic complications and to assess therapeutics or the prognosis of diabetes. The usefulness of this model will be clarified by a larger scale and serial study.

      • 大豆의 利用에 관한 硏究 : Ⅲ. 大豆PROTEIN-LIPID FILM의 性質에 관하여

        대두protein-lipid film을 제조하여 그의 용해성(solubility), 팽윤성(swelliug power) 그리고 packaging properties을 조사하였는데 그 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다 1. 대두protein-lipid film은 9.20%의 수분, 51.36%의 초단백질, 25.61%의 조지질, 9.57%의 total sugar 그리고 4%의 회분으로 구성되어 있다. 2. 대두protein-lipid film은 PH2-4에서 최저 팽윤도를 나타내 며 PH13~PHI4 사이에서 뚜렷한 용해 현상을 나타냈는데 이런 경향은 온도가 높아질 때 증대되었다. 3. 대두protein-lipid film은 김밥을 만들 때 김을 대체할 수 있으며 jelly, Sugar ball을 포장할 수 있는 가식성포장재로써의 적성을 가지고 있다. The property of soybean protein-lipid film was investigated and obtained following results; 1) Soybean protein-lipid film(dried at 50℃) contain moisture, crude protein, crude lipid total sugar and ash, 9.20%, 51.36%, 25.61%, 9.57%, 4%, respectively. 2) Soybean protein-lipid film showed maximum swelling rate in PH2-PH4, solubile in PH13-PH14 and according to temperature increase both were increased. 3) Soybean protein-lipid film have properties of packaging material of jelly, kim-bab and sugar ball.

      • 차량의 방송 수신 전파 환경 분석에 관한 연구

        본 논문에서는 이동 중인 차량의 수신 성능에 영향을 주는 전파 환경 측정을 위한 측정 셋업을 구성하고, 측정 결과 분석을 통한 수신 이상 현상의 원인을 밝혔다. 이를 위해 필요한 측정 파라메터의 정량적 설정과 측정 및 분석 방법을 제시하였다. In this paper we constitute the measurement setup of electromagnetic environment which has an effect on the radio receiver of vehicles an analyzed causes. This paper proposes various measurement and analysis methods for uncovering noise mechanism of vehicle receiver system.

      • 토목공사 정보관리를 위한 Uniclass 시스템의 활용성 분석

        A standardized construction information classification system is essential for organizing construction CALS and CM. In 1997, Uniclass system was developed for superseding CI/SfB system that was being used as a representative WBS. Uniclass system is organized on the basis of ISO frame and consists of tables for classifying information related to construction management and electronic commerce. This study was implemented for the analysis of applicability of Uniclass system, comparing with CI/SfB system, as a WBS for the construction CALS. This study suggests a alternative table of Uniclass to improve applicability in practical use. Uniclass system was analyzed as the best classification system for the civil engineering project among the existing systems, howewer, the classified items for CM and construction CALS need to be modified with more detailed items.

        In this paper, we studied Automated External Defibrillator and Electro- Cardiogram System. Proposed System, CU-EX1, is a PC-based AED/ECG system that manages the data acquired by Paramedic CU-ER1. The system controls the transfer of data from the Paramedic CU-ER1 and the storage of the data in a local host computer. Patient data could be entered as soon as the rescue data is stored in a local computer. The system also displays the data on a local computer and facilitates review of rescue events.

      • 민간 체육시설 이용자의 만족도에 관한 연구

        The purpose of this study is on examining closely and precisely the correlations between the realities with using sporting centers and satisfaction of people using them. Firstly, in order to achieve that purpose, I have analyzed the differences in people's satisfaction that are caused by characteristics of the Population Statistics. Then I have studied about effects of realities on people using the sporting centers to the satisfaction. In this research, some health clubs in Teagu have been focused on the frame to be required. I picked 250 people randomly first but excluded 67 people who have been considered as being answered with insincerity or have been omitted due to insufficiency on the final questionnaire, which means finally 193 people were completely answered. This study includes totally 42 questions that are made up of 4 Population statistical questions about tools used as assessments, 3 questions about causes of the realities of sporting activities, and 35 questions about causes of the satisfaction rate by using some analyzing methodologies that are used, such as the frequency analytics, t-test, One way anova, scheffe's post-inspection, interrelationship analytics, regression analytics, and so on. Could get some meaningful results like following with using those methodologies mentioned before. Firstly, I could find out meaningful differences between different categories, amongst the Population Statistics characteristics in people using the sport centers, that were leader's ages, equipment satisfaction differentiated by the standards of education in the sporting programs, equipment satisfaction in the leader's different wages, and so on. Secondly, in the lower leveled realities causes, the equipment satisfaction has been revealed statistically around 5%(actually 8.1%) in frequency of participation whereas the programs have been indicated approximately 5%(actually 7.0%) in the term of participation.

        TiAIN 코팅 평 엔드밀의 성능평가에 관한 기초 연구

        The purpose of this study is an evaluation of flat end mills to develop appropriate tools for the high speed machining. First of all, several flat end mills which are produced by different markers are selected to analyze the performances of the tools. Experimental works are also executed to measure cutting force, tool wear and surface roughness for different cutting conditions. And then the results are compared and analyzed for developing optimal cutting tool in the high speed condition.

      • 액체막법에 의한 중금속이온의 분리 및 회수

        거대고리 리간드는 금속이온과 선택적으로 결합하는데, 이를 이용하여 에멀젼 액체막을 통한 금속이온의 이동에 관하여 연구를 수행하였다. 금속이온은 유기층에 있는 운반체에 의하여 source phase에서 receiving phase으로 이동한다. 운반체로는 거대고리 리간드인 DBN_(3)O_(3)를 사용하였다. 여기에서 에멀젼 액체막을 통한 금속이온의 이동에 관한 요인과 어떤 금속이온의 선택적 분리에 관하여 검토하였다. 금속이온과 거대고리 리간드 그리고 금속이온과 receiving phase내에 있는 음이온에 대한 안정도 상수를 금속이온의 선택적 이동에 대한 척도로 조사하였다. 납이온이 혼합 용액에서 다른 금속이온보다 높은 이동속도를 나타내었다. Receiving phase내의 음이온이 금속이온의 이동에 중요한 역할을 한다. Receiving phase내에 있는 NO_(3)^(-)을 S_(2)O_(3)^(2-) 대치하면 이동량이 증가함을 보였는데 이는 Pb^(2-)-S_(2)O_(3)^(2-) 상호작용이 Pb^(2+)-NO_(3)^(-) 상호작용보다 크기 때문이다. Macrocyclic ligand has been know to selectively bind with metal ions so that ability applied for the transport of metal ions across the emulsion liquid membrane in this study. The metal ions are transproted from the source phase to the receiving phase by the carrier of the organic phase. Several factors involved in the transport of metal ions acrose the emulsion membrane we reported here and these factors proveided the informations for the selective seperation of some metal ion. Stability constants for cation-macrocyclic ligand and metal ion-anion receiving phase interaction are examined as parameters for the prediction of metal ion transport selectivities Pb^(2+) was transported higher rates than the other metal ions in the mixture solution. The interaction of metal ion to anion in receiving phase is important. S_(2)O_(3)^(2-) in replacement of NO_(3)^(-) in the receiving phase enhances the transport of pb^(2-) since Pb^(2-)-S_(2)O_(3)^(2-) interaction is greater than Pb^(2+)-NO_(3)^(+) interaction.
