        한국과 일본 대학생의 스포츠상황에 대한 도덕적 가치판단수준 비교

        The purpose of this study was to compare the differences of moral reasoning among general students, sports related majors students, and student athletes in Korea and Japan University. We collected total 612 out of 700 (315 from Korea, 297 from Japan) and 88 questionnaires were excluded questionnaire due to incompleteness and unreliable data. For this study, Hahm-Bellar Values Choice Inventory-16(HBVCI-16), which is a Moral Reasoning Questionnaire on Sports Activities, was used. The collected data was analyzed by t-test, one way ANOVA and two way ANOVA with using SPSS Var. 17.0 statistical package program and result were as follow. First, the Japan student`s overall score of moral reasoning were lower compare to Korean university students. Second, there were 1 % higher score of moral reasoning in woman against man and in younger subjects. Sports majored university students presented 1% higher score against other related students and higher grade students presented 5% higher score against lower grade students. Third, among student athletes of Korea and Japan, although there were no significant differences, it was 0.1% higher among those who engaged in individual sports and 5% higher score in those who have less sports career.

        A Model for Computer-Aided Process Planning System in Flexible Manufacturing Systems

        Most of computer-aided process planning(CAPP) systems have been developed to automate the process planning function. In this paper, we describe an analytical model for a CAPP system in order to improve the performance of production system in flexible manufacturing systems(FMSs) for computer intergrated manufacturing(CIM) architecture. This paper proposes an optimal process planning that minimizes the load time by minimizing the cycle time and the number of workstations using Kang and Hahm's heuristic approach so as to improve the performance of production system under the batch production of discrete products. We also perform simulation using SIMAN language to campare the line utilization of each for various product types. The proposed algorithm can be implemented in existing FMSs for on-line control of product quantity using programmable logic controllers(PLC) and communication devices.

      • Comparative Glycopeptide Analysis for Protein Glycosylation by Liquid Chromatography and Tandem Mass Spectrometry: Variation in Glycosylation Patterns of Site-Directed Mutagenized Glycoprotein

        <P>Glycosylation is one of the most important posttranslational modifications for proteins, including therapeutic antibodies, and greatly influences protein physiochemical properties. In this study, glycopeptide mapping of a reference and biosimilar recombinant antibodies (rAbs) was performed using liquid chromatography-electrospray ionization tandem mass spectrometry (LC-ESI-MS/MS) and an automated Glycoproteome Analyzer (GPA) algorithm. The tandem mass analyses for the reference and biosimilar samples indicate that this approach proves to be highly efficient in reproducing consistent analytical results and discovering the implications of different rAb production methods on glycosylation patterns. Furthermore, the comparative analysis of a mutagenized rAb glycoprotein proved that a single amino acid mutation in the Fc portion of the antibody molecule caused increased variations in glycosylation patterns. These variations were also detected by the mass spectrometry method efficiently. This mapping method, focusing on precise glycopeptide identification and comparison for the identified glycoforms, can be useful in differentiating aberrant glycosylation in biosimilar rAb products.</P>

        Implant training and development is planned continuous effort by management to improve employee competency levels and organization work environment. T&D's emphasis is on increased productivity within firms. To improve productivity, desired changes should be occured. This survey is to find out the problems is rapidly changing circumtances of implant training and development by questionair method and interview method. This research is to grasp the situation of implant training in Korea, and identify the problems for the purpose of presenting the design for its improvement.

        8-Oxoguanine: from oxidative damage to epigenetic and epitranscriptional modification

        In pathophysiology, reactive oxygen species control diverse cellular phenotypes by oxidizing biomolecules. Among these, the guanine base in nucleic acids is the most vulnerable to producing 8-oxoguanine, which can pair with adenine. Because of this feature, 8-oxoguanine in DNA (8-oxo-dG) induces a G > T (C > A) mutation in cancers, which can be deleterious and thus actively repaired by DNA repair pathways. 8-Oxoguanine in RNA (o8G) causes problems in aberrant quality and translational fidelity, thereby it is subjected to the RNA decay pathway. In addition to oxidative damage, 8-oxo-dG serves as an epigenetic modification that affects transcriptional regulatory elements and other epigenetic modifications. With the ability of o8G•A in base pairing, o8G alters structural and functional RNA–RNA interactions, enabling redirection of posttranscriptional regulation. Here, we address the production, regulation, and function of 8-oxo-dG and o8G under oxidative stress. Primarily, we focus on the epigenetic and epitranscriptional roles of 8-oxoguanine, which highlights the significance of oxidative modification in redox-mediated control of gene expression.

        Preparation and Properties of in situ Polymerized Poly(ethylene terephthalate)/Fumed Silica Nanocomposites

        We have prepared poly(ethylene terephthalate) (PET) nanocomposites filled with two different types of fumed silicas, hydrophilic (FS) and hydrophobic (MFS) silicas of 7-nm diameter, by in situ polymerization. We then investigated the morphological changes, rheological properties, crystallization behavior, and mechanical properties of the PET nanocomposites. Transmission electron microscopy (TEM) images indicate that the dispersibility of the fumed silica was improved effectively by in situ polymerization; in particular, MFS had better dispersibility than FS on the non-polar PET polymer. The crystallization behavior of the nanocomposites revealed a peculiar tendency: all the fillers acted as retarding agents for the crystallization of the PET nanocomposites. The incorporation of fumed silicas increased the intrinsic viscosities (IV) of the PET matrix, and the strong particleparticle interactions of the filler led to an increased melt viscosity. Additionally, the mechanical properties, toughness, and modules of the nano-composites all increased, even at low filler content.

        A Clinicopathologic Study on Nevus Sebaceus

        Background : Nevus sebaceus of Jadassohn is a complex anomaly involving the epidermis, dermis, apocrine glands and hair follicles, as well as the sebaceous glands, and a variety of benign and malignant tumors and neurologic abnormalities may be associated with it; however, only a few studies on it have been reported in the Korean literature. Objective : The objectives of this study was to document clinical and histopathologic features of nevus sebaceus in Koreans and compare them to those in the previously reported studies. Method : Clinical records and histopathology of 53 cases of nevus sebaceus diagnosed at Ewha Womans University Tongdaemun Hospital during a period of 18 years were reviewed and analyzed. Results : The average incidence rate of nevus sebaceus among new patients was 0.03%. The male-to-female ratio was 1.04 and the average age at visit, 16.5 years. The lesions had been present since birth or had developed before age 10 in 85% of the cases. All lesions were situated on the head, and the most common site was the scalp. Linear lesions (20.8%) were mostly facial lesions. Histopathologically, the incidence of sebaceous and apocrine glandular hyperplasia was most notable in the 13-18 and over-18 age groups. The sebaceous glands showed small punched out defects or $quot;holes$quot; in 24.5%; ectopic apocrine glands were found in 24.5%. Mature hair follicles were absent or greatly reduced in number in 75.5%. Acanthosis nigricanslike pattern of acanthosis and mild papillomatosis were the dominant changes in the epidermis. Hyperplasias and neoplasms were associated in 15.1%, which included 5 cases of primitive follicular induction and 1 trichoblastoma. Conclusiart : In this series, no examples of malignant neoplasms were identified; however, an early total excision before age 13 is recommended since a variable $quot;deficit malformation$quot; of the follicles with hyperplasia of the epidermis and sebaceous glands becomes more prominent after that age.

      • Influence of Gas Transfer Velocity Parameterization on Air-Sea $CO_2$ Exchange in the East (Japan) Sea

        Gas flux across the air-sea interface is often determined by the product of gas transfer velocity k) and the difference of concentrations in water and air. k is primarily controlled by wind stress on the air-sea interface, thus all parameterizations ofk involve wind speed, a rough indicator of wind stress, as one of the independent variables. We attempted to explore the spatial and temporal variations of k in the East (Japan) Sea using a database from Naet al. (1992). Three different parameterizations were employed: those of Liss and Merlivat (1986), Wanninkhof(1992), and Wanninkhofand McGillis (1999). The strong non-linear dependence of k on wind speed in all parameterizations leads us to examine the effect of time resolution, in which the binned wind speeds are averaged, on the estimation ofk. Two time resolutions of 12 hours (short-term) and one month (long-term) were chosen. The mean wind speeds were fed into the given parameterizations, resulting in six different transfer velocities of $CO_2$ ranging from 12 to 32 cm/h. In addition to the threefold difference depending on the choice of parameterization, the long-term average of wind speed results in a value ofk up to 20% higher than the short-term (12 hours) average of wind speed due to the non-Rayleigh wind distribution in the East (Japan) Sea. While it is not known which parameterization is more reliable, this study proposes that the time-averaged wind speed should not be used in areas where non-Ralyleigh wind distribution prevails such as the East (Japan) Sea. The net annual $CO_2$ flux was estimated using the value of k described above and the monthly ${\Delta}fCO_2$ of Oh et al. (1999); this ranges from 0.034 to 0.11 Gt-C/yr.
