트램은 도시재생효과와 더불어 친환경성, 중량 전철 대비 낮은 건설비, 저상시스템을 적용한 교통약자에 대한 배려 등 다양한 장점으로 다수의 해외도시에서 운행되고 있다. 대전시, 울산시, 위례신도시 등 국내에서도 트램 도입을 위해 많은 검토가 이루어지고 있다. 트램은 도로 교통과 동일 평면상에서 운행되므로 자동차와의 충돌, 보행자와의 접촉 등 안전사고에 자주 노출된다. 그러나 국내에서는 트램에 대한 운영 경험이 없기 때문에 사고 발생 시 대처방안과 사고복구에 대한 우려가 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서 트램 사고유형별 복구매뉴얼 및 복구장치 조사 · 분석을 통하여 트램 실증노선에서 발생이 예상되는 다양한 사고유형별 대응 조치 및 사복복구절차 매뉴얼을 개발하고 사고복구에 필요한 제작 가이드라인을 제시하는 기초자료로 활용하고자 한다.

Polycrystalline cubic boron nitride (PcBN) samples were fabricated via high pressure high temperature (HPHT) sintering process using nanocrystalline TiN particle coated cBN powder. cBN powder was coated with TiN nanoparticles prior to sintering for the purpose of improving microstructural homogeneity. The effect of using coated cBN powders on the mechanical properties of the sintered compacts was investigated. Nano-sized TiN coated cBN powders resulted in a significant improvement in the homogeneity of the binder phase in bulk sintered compacts which would not have been obtainable by ordinary mechanical mixing technique. By using coated powders, TiN phase was found to be continuously distributed within the cBN network. Better distribution of TiN resulted in a complete reaction of TiN with cBN at the interface resulting in stronger bonding and higher interfacial strength. Compacts prepared using coated cBN powder exhibited improved mechanical properties and lower values of flank wear and surface roughness.

Number of dairy cow patients diagnosed and treated at Hyup Dong Large Animal Clinic during the year, October 1, 1966, through September 30, 1967, were amounted to 1,119 cases and the result of analysis of disease incidence during one year period were as follow: 1. In the etiologic diagnostic categories, diseases cause by infection with lower organism were most productive and 43.3% of all diagnosis involved in this category. 2. In the topographic diagnostic categories, 37.3% of all diagnosis involved the urogenital system and were observed most productive. 3. As a result of each topographic diagnostic categories were subdivided into disease entities, 21.4% of all diagnosis involved the mastitis and this were observed most productive in the miscellaneous disease entities. Next productive disease were indigestion (11.9%), endometritis(11.5%), miscellaneousl ovarian disease(11.1%) and retained placenta(81.1%) chronologicaly.
데이터 무결성을 보장하는 플래시 저장장치에서 잦은 쓰기 참조 흡수가 플래시 변환계층에 미치는 영향

플래시 저장장치는 컴퓨팅 시스템에서 휴대용 저장매체로 각광 받고 있다. 플래시 저장장치의 착탈성을 고려해 보면, 데이터의 무결성이 중요한 이슈로 부각된다. 본 연구는 데이터 무결성을 보장하려는 파일시스템 동작이 플래시 변환 계층(FTL) 기법들의 성능에 미치는 영향에 주목한다. 본 연구에서는 파일시스템이 데이터 무결성을 보장하기 위해서 발생시킨 잦은 쓰기 참조가 플래시 저장장치에 미치는 영향에 대해서 살펴본다. 또한, 비휘발성 램을 이용한 잦은 쓰기 참조의 흡수가 플래시 저장장치 내의 FTL 성능에 미치는 영향을 살펴본다. 실제 시스템 환경에서 실시된 성능 평가 결과는 잦은 쓰기 참조가 포함된 워크로드들에서 FTL 성능이 기존 연구에서 제시된 결과와 상이할 수 있음을 보여준다. 이와 더불어, 비휘발성 램을 이용하여 잦은 쓰기 참조를 흡수함으로써 FTL 기법들이 플래시 저장장치의 성능에 미치는 영향이 완화됨을 실험결과를 통해서 알 수 있다. Flash storages are prevalent as portable storage in computing systems. When we consider the detachability of Flash storage devices, data integrity becomes an important issue. To assure extreme data integrity, file systems synchronously write all file data to storage accompanying hot write references. In this study, we concentrate on the effect of hot write references on Flash storage, and we consider the effect of absorbing the hot write references via nonvolatile write cache on the performance of the FTL schemes in Flash storage. In so doing, we quantify the performance of typical FTL schemes for workloads that contain hot write references through a wide range of experiments on a real system environment. Through the results, we conclude that the impact of the underlying FTL schemes on the performance of Flash storage is dramatically reduced by absorbing the hot write references via nonvolatile write cache.

Sensory devices have been developed to help people with disabled or weakened sensory functions. Such devices play a role in collecting and transferring data for the five senses (vision, sound, smell, taste, and tactility) and also stimulating nerves. To provide brain or prosthesis devices with more sophisticated senses, hyper sensory devices with a high resolution comparable to or even better than the human system based on individual neuron cells are essential. As for data collecting components, technologies for sensors with higher resolution and sensitivity, and the conversion of algorithms from physical sensing data to human neuron signals, are needed. Converted data can be transferred to neurons that are responsible for human senses through communication with high security, and neural interfaces with high resolution. When communication deals with human data, security is the most important consideration, and intra-body communication is expected to be a candidate with high priority. To generate sophisticated human senses by modulating neurons, neural interfaces should modulate individual neurons, and therefore a high resolution compared to human neurons (~ several tens of um) with a large area covering neuron cells for human senses (~ several tens of mm) should be developed. The technological challenges for developing sensory devices with human and even beyond-human capabilities have been tackled by various research groups, the details of which are described in this paper.

As a principal design of advanced CANDU fuel bundle, CANDU-KF39, CANDU-KF40 and CANDU-KF43 fuel bundles were proposed and evaluated with respect to the operating conditions of the CANDU-6 reactor of Wolsung Unit-1. From the results, the advanced fuel bundles show to be improved economical and technical benefits compared with the current 37-element bundle. Especially, it was appeared that the KF-39 fuel bundle has more benefits of the safety, technical and economical aspects of Wolsung Unit-1 rather than those of the KF-40 and KF-43 fuel bundles.
