데이터 글러브를 이용한 손 제스처 기반 3차원 게임 구현

데이터 글러브(Data Glove)는 손 제스처를 정의하여 시스템을 제어하는 입력장치로 가상현실기술 및 교육, 의료, 산업분야에서 많이 사용되고 있다. 이는 가상현실 속에 존재하는 사물을 현실에서 제어하게 함으로써 사용자에게 마치 현실 세계의 사물을 제어하는 느낌을 주는 장점을 가지고 있다. 이에 본 논문에서는 이러한 데이터 글러브의 장점을 이용하여 3차원 게임에 적용시키는 방법을 제안한다. 먼저 데이터 글러브로 제스처를 정의하고, 트래커(Tracker)와 연동하여 시스템을 구현한다. 구현된 시스템을 실험하기 위해서 OpenGL로 인형 뽑기 게임을 구현하고 사용자가 데이터 글러브를 착용 후 정의된 제스처를 통해 게임을 제어하도록 한다. 본 논문에서 제안한 방법은 사용자들에게 좀 더 높은 몰입감을 제공하며, 향후 게임 산업 발전에도 많은 영향을 줄 것으로 기대한다.

Typical serous cystadenoma of pancreas is formed by many microcysts, of which diameter are less than 2cm. Recently, rare variants are also reported as macrocystic, unicystic, or multicentric. Macrocystic serous cystadenoma is diffcult to differentiate from pseudocyst, mucinous cystadenoma and other cystic mass having macrocysts. As these lesions have different symptoms, methods of treatment, and prognoses, it is important to diagnose and treat correctly. We report 2 cases which diagnosed as macrocystic serous cystadenoma with stressing scarcity value and clinical importance.

<P>The structure and function of the Antarctic marine diatom <I>Chaetoceros neogracile</I> antifreeze protein (Cn-AFP), as well as its expression levels and characteristics of the ice-binding site, were analyzed in the present study. <I>In silico</I> analysis revealed that the <I>Cn-AFP</I> promoter contains both light- and temperature-responsive elements. Northern and Western blot analyses demonstrated that both Cn-AFP transcript and protein expression were strongly and rapidly stimulated by freezing, as well as temperature and high light stress. Immunogold labeling revealed that Cn-AFP is preferentially localized to the intracellular space near the chloroplast membrane. Recombinant Cn-AFP had clear antifreeze activity. Probabilistic Models to Predict the Growth Initiation Time for Pseudomonas spp. in Processed Meats Formulated with NaCl and NaNO2

This study developed probabilistic models to determine the initiation time of growth of Pseudomonas spp. in combinations with NaNO2 and NaCl concentrations during storage at different temperatures. The combination of 8 NaCl concentrations (0, 0.25, 0.5, 0.75, 1, 1.25, 1.5, and 1.75%) and 9 NaNO2 concentrations (0, 15, 30, 45, 60, 75, 90, 105, and 120 ppm) were prepared in a nutrient broth. The medium was placed in the wells of 96-well microtiter plates, followed by inoculation of a five-strain mixture of Pseudomonas in each well. All microtiter plates were incubated at 4, 7, 10, 12, and 15oC for 528, 504, 504, 360 and 144 h, respectively. Growth (growth initiation; GI) or no growth was then determined by turbidity every 24 h. These growth response data were analyzed by a logistic regression to produce growth/no growth interface of Pseudomonas spp. and to calculate GI time. NaCl and NaNO2 were significantly effective (p<0.05) on inhibiting Pseudomonas spp. growth when stored at 4-12oC. The developed model showed that at lower NaCl concentration, higher NaNO2 level was required to inhibit Pseudomonas growth at 4-12oC. However, at 15oC, there was no significant effect of NaCl and NaNO2. The model overestimated GI times by 58.2±17.5 to 79.4±11%. These results indicate that the probabilistic models developed in this study should be useful in calculating the GI times of Pseudomonas spp. in combination with NaCl and NaNO2 concentrations, considering the over-prediction percentage.

심리적 통제전략과 안녕감 간의 관계

본 연구는 중년ㆍ노년성인들의 심리적 적응에 영향을 미치는 대처기제를 확인하고 통제전략과 주관적 안녕감 간의 관계를 알아보기 위해 실시되었다. 청년(n=373), 중년(n=193), 노년(n=100)성인들을 대상으로 통제전략 척도, 심리ㆍ사회적 스트레스, 주관적 안녕감을 측정하여 연령집단별로 비교하였다. 연구결과, 일차적 통제 전략인 '노력과 기술투자'는 연령이 증가함에 따라 감소하였으며, 이차적 통제 전략인 '소망 낮추기'는 연령이 증가함에 따라 유의미하게 많이 사용하였다. 또한 청년과 중년성인에 비해 노년성인들은 이차적 통제 전략인 '하향비교와 자기보호귀인'을 유의미하게 많이 사용하였다. 통제전략과 주관적 안녕감과의 관계를 살펴본 결과, 청년성인의 경우, 일차적 통제 전략인 '목표추구의 지속성'과 '노력과 기술투자'가 주관적 안녕감과 유의미한 수준에서 정적 관계를 보여 주었다. 또한 중년성인과 노년성인의 경우, 일차적 통제 전략인 '목표추구의 지속성'과 이차적 통제 전략인 '하향비교와 자기보호귀인' 둘 다 주관적 안녕감에 유의미하게 정적 관계를 갖는 것으로 나타났다. 이와 관련한 본 연구의 의의와 제한점 및 후속연구에 대한 시사점이 논의되었다. This study examined the relationship of control strategies and subjective well-being that explained psychological adjustment on middle and older adulthood. Present study compared young adulthood(n=373), middle adulthood(n=193) and older adulthood(n=100) on the Control Strategy Scale, GHO-12, and the Subjective Well-being scale. The result reveal that primary control strategy(Investment effort & time) significantly decreased with age. In contrast, secondary control strategy(lowering aspiration) increased with age. Old age group showed significantly more use for secondary control strategy(downward comparison & self-protective attribution) than young and middle age group. In addition, primary control strategy(persistence goal striving and investment effort & time) had strong positive relation to subjective well-being in young adulthood as compared with middle and old age group. In middle age and old age, both primary control strategy(persistence in goal striving) and compensative secondary control strategy(downward comparison & self-protective attribution) had positive relation to subjective well-being. Finally, the implication and limitations of this study were discussed with suggestions for the further studies.

암호화폐 관련 범죄에 대한 형사법적 고찰

최근 암호화폐 관련 범죄가 급격히 증가하고 있는데, 범행수법은 날로 다양화되고, 피해규모 또한 막대해지는 실정이다. 형법 규정 제정 당시 암호화폐를 이용한 범죄를 염두에 두지 않았으므로 현행 형법을 암호화폐 관련 범죄에 직접 적용하는 데는 죄형 법정주의 원칙상 한계가 존재한다. 이는 결국 암호화폐 범죄에 대한 심각한 처벌의 공백이 발생할 수밖에 없다. 암호화폐는 ‘재산적 가치가 있는 정보’에 해당하고, 이는 형사적 보호벅익의 관점에서 ‘재산상 이익’으로 보아야 하며, 궁극적으로는 ‘재산’으로 규정하여 형사법 안으로 포섭해야 한다. 암호화폐 관련 범죄는 ‘시스템 침해범죄’, ‘암호화폐 목적범죄’, ‘암호화폐 이용범죄’로 유형화하여 각 범죄 유형별로 범죄 구성 요건 및 가벌성에 대한 특별법을 규정하는 것이 필요하다. 특히 시스템 침해범죄와 관련하여 고객의 예치금과 사업자의 고유재산을 분리 보관의무 위반에 대하여 형벌로 규정하여 해킹 피해에 대한 고객 보호의무에 보다 충실할 필요가 있다. 암호화폐 목적범죄와 관련하여 암호화폐 거래소로 하여금 거래내역의 투명성을 확보할 의무를 규정하는 것이 요구된다. 또한 수사기관이 법원의 허가를 얻어 금융정보분석원으로부터 해당 거래내역을 신속히 취득할 수 있도록 하는 방법도 고려해 볼 필요가 있다. 암호화폐 이용범죄에 대하여는 특히 다크코인의 발행, 거래, 취득 등에 대한 형사처벌 규정이 신속히 입법될 필요성이 있다. 암호화폐 관련 범죄를 보다 효과적으로 예방하기 위해서는 범죄자들이 암호화폐 관련 범죄를 통하여 불법적인 수익을 실현하는 결과를 막는 것이 필요하다. 이를 위해 현행 형법상 몰수의 대상을 ‘물건’에서 ‘재산’으로 개정하는 것이 바람직하다. 나아가 암호화폐의 압수ㆍ수색에 있어서도 사본압수의 예외적 허용, 디지털 영장 집행의 예외적 허용, 암호화폐 거래소의 협력의무의 도입 등이 고려되어야 한다. 형사법은 규정 내용이 명확해야 하며, 필연적으로 권리의 보호와 권리의 제한이라는 양면을 가지므로 각각의 연관된 법률에 임기응변식으로 관련 규제를 추가하는 것보다 암호화폐 관련 범죄에 대한 특별법 제정이 시급하다고 할 것이다. Crpytocurrency-related crime has been increasing rapidly in recent years and types of the illicit activities has become more and more various, which results in ever growing scales of damage. Nevertheless, under the existing Criminal Law, which has no clear provisions regulating crypto crime, no measure can be directly applied to the illicit activities in accordance with the principle of legality. Consequently, criminal sanctions are not effectively provided no matter how serious the crime is. This essay defines cryptocurrency as ‘information with property value’ which will be considered as ‘pecuniary advantage’ from the concept of benefit and protection of the criminal law. Alternately, this essay suggests that cryptocurrency should be defined as ‘property’ so Criminal Law regulates the crypto crime. This essay categorizes types of crypto crime - ‘system hack’, ‘cryptocurrency target crime’, and ‘cryptocurrency usage crime’ - to enact special act which will properly regulate the elements of crime and culpability of each type of crime. In respect of system hack, the law should oblige the cryptocurrency exchange to separate its proper properties and customers’ deposits to protect customers’ portion from hacking. In respect of cryptocurrnecy target crime, the cryptocurrency exchange should be mandated to guarantee the transparency of transactional information. For expedite proceedings the investigative agency will be allowed to aquire the transactional information from the Korean Financial Intelligence Unit under the permission of the court. In respect of cryptocurrency usage crime, criminalization of production, transaction, and acquisition of the Dark coin is desperately needed. More effective way to prevent the crypto crime is to block the illegal gain from the crime to be realized. To do so, subject of confiscation is to be revised from ‘goods’ to ‘property’. Furthermore, legislators should consider the exceptional permissions for seizure of copied evidence and execution of digital seizure and search warrants, and codification of duty to cooperate of cryptocurrency exchange. Criminal code must be clear and plain because it inherently has both attributes of protection of rights and restriction of rights. In this regard, it is imperative to enact the special act on cryptocurrency-based crime not to regulate the crime with stopgap measures by adding provisions to any other related laws.

Imaging Findings of Metaplastic Breast Carcinoma with Chondroid Differentiation: A Case Reports

Metaplastic carcinoma of the breast is a heterogeneous group of neoplasms with mixed epithelial and mesenchymal differentiation. Metaplastic carcinoma of the breast is a rare and aggressive malignancy, with high recurrence and metastasis. Metaplastic carcinoma with chondroid differentiation is an uncommon subtype that tends to have a relatively good prognosis than that of other subtypes. We report the imaging features of three cases of pathologically proven metaplastic carcinoma with chondroid differentiation as follows: a high-density mass with amorphous or coarse heterogeneous calcifications on mammography; a microlobulated or partially indistinct, complex cystic, and solid mass on sonography; and a relatively circumscribed or partially indistinct, irregular mass with heterogeneous T2 high-signal intensity and heterogeneous or rim enhancement with initial fast enhancement and delayed washout on MRI.

Effects of Transcutaneous Electrical Stimulation on Physiological Symptoms and Psychological Satisfaction in Women With Stress Urinary Incontinence: A Preliminary Study

Background: Stress urinary incontinence (SUI) is an involuntary leakage of urine from the urethra when intra-abdominal pressure increases, such as from sneezing, coughing, or physical exertion. It is caused by insufficient strength of the pelvic floor and sphincter muscles, resulting from vaginal delivery, obesity, hard physical work, or aging. The pelvic floor electrical stimulator is a conservative treatment generally used to relieve the symptoms of urinary incontinence. it recommended to applied before surgery is performed. Objects: The purpose of this study was to determine if the transcutaneous electrical stimulation (TCES) would be effective for the physiological symptoms and psychological satisfaction of women with SUI for an 8-weeks intervention. Methods: Easy-K is a specially designed user-friendly TCES. Five female who were diagnosed with SUI by a gynecologist but who did not require surgical intervention were included in this study. Intervention was implemented over an 8-week period. Outcome measures included vaginal ultrasonography, Levator ani muscle (LAM) contraction strength, incontinence quality of life (I-QOL), and female sexual function index (FSFI) questionnaires. Results: The bladder neck position significantly decreased across assessment time. Funneling index and urethral width significantly decreased after 8 weeks of intervention (p<.05). The bladder necksymphyseal distance and posterior rhabdosphincter thickness statistically increased and the anterior rhabdosphincter thickness showed a tendency to increase. All participants demonstrated a significant increase in the LAM contraction score across three assessment times (p<.05). Although the total score of the I-QOL did not show significant improvement, it steadily increased and among I-QOL subscales, only the “avoidance” subscale showed statistical improvements (p<.05). The total score of the FSFI statistically improved and the “desire” score significantly changed (p<.05). Conclusion: The TCES is recommended for women who want to apply conservative treatments before surgery and who have suffered from SUI in aspects of sexual function and quality of life.

Temozolomide Salvage Chemotherapy for Recurrent Anaplastic Oligodendroglioma and Oligo-Astrocytoma

Objective : To evaluate the efficacy of temozolomide (TMZ) chemotherapy for recurrent anaplastic oligodendroglioma (AO) and anaplastic oligoastrocytoma (AOA). Methods : A multi-center retrospective trial enrolled seventy-two patients with histologically proven AO/AOA who underwent TMZ chemotherapy for their recurrent tumors from 2006 to 2010. TMZ was administered orally (150 to 200 $mg/m^2/day$) for 5 days per 28 days until unacceptable toxicity occurred or tumor progression was observed. Results : TMZ chemotherapy cycles administered was median 5.3 (range, 1-41). The objective response rate was 24% including 8 cases (11%) of complete response and another 23 patients (32%) were remained as stable disease. Severe side effects (${\geq}$grade 3) occurred only in 9 patients (13%). Progression-free survival (PFS) of all patients was a median 8.0 months (95% confidence interval, 6.0-10.0). The time to recurrence of a year or after was a favorable prognostic factor for PFS (p<0.05). Overall survival (OS) was apparently differed by the patient's histology, as AOA patients survived a median OS of 18.0 months while AO patients did not reach median OS at median follow-up of 11.5 months (range 2.7-65 months). Good performance status of Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group 0 and 1 showed prolonged OS (p<0.01). Conclusion : For recurrent AO/AOA after surgery followed by radiation therapy, TMZ could be recommended as a salvage therapy at the estimated efficacy equal to procarbazine, lomustine, and vincristine (PCV) chemotherapy at first relapse. For patients previously treated with PCV, TMZ is a favorable therapeutic option as 2nd line salvage chemotherapy with an acceptable toxicity rate.
