        The Effect of the Middle School Students' Smartphone Dependence on the Grid Via the Parent-Child Conversation Time and the Self-Directed Learning Time

        Purpose: This study examined and understood the relationship between the parent-child conversation time, self-directed learning time, and grid in the middle school students' smartphone dependence, and verified the mediating effect of the parent-child conversation time and the self-directed learning time in the relationship between the smartphone dependence and the grid. Method: By using the data from the 2018 Korean Children and Youth Panel Survey, the relationship between the variables was analyzed through the multiple regression analysis targeting 2378 first-year middle school stu-dents. Results: First, the smartphone dependence had a negative effect on the parent-child conversation time and grid, and the parent-child conversation time had a positive effect on the grid. Furthermore, it turned out that the smartphone dependence partially mediates the conversation time of parents and children and affects the grid of the middle school students. Second, the smartphone dependence had a negative effect on the self-directed learn-ing time and grid, and the self-directed learning time had a positive effect on the grid. Furthermore, it turned out that the smartphone dependence partially mediates the self-directed learning time and affects the grid of the middle school students. Conclusion: As the parents and children spend more time on conversation, their children's smartphone de-pendence decreases, and as the grid is high, positive communication between the parents and children at home increases the children's grid, which may have a positive effect on their academic achievement and life satisfaction. In order to increase the grid, the factors such as the self-directed learning must be considered together.

        The Relationship between Child Values and Happiness of Early Childhood Parents: Actor Effect and Partner Effect

        Purpose: This study examined the relationship between child value and happiness among parents of infants and toddlers in the 6th and 7th waves of the Korean Child Panel Survey. Method: We conducted an analysis of self and other interdependence model(APIM) to test the self-effect and partner-effect of parents of infants and toddlers. Results: The results of the self-effect and partner-effect tests of mothers' and fathers' perceived parental child value on happiness showed that mothers' and fathers' perceived child value had a significant positive effect on their own happiness. In addition, the interaction effect of mothers' and fathers' perceived child value on happiness was significant only for the negative effect of fathers' perceived child value on mothers' happiness. We also found significant differences in the self-effect and partner-effect of parental values on happiness, with mothers' happiness being influenced more by their own parental values than by their fathers' parental values. Conclusion: The significance of this study is that it verified the effect of parents' child value on their own happiness, which has been lacking in the literature. Therefore, this study provides implications for the establishment of government childcare policies to improve the happiness of parents of infants and toddlers and for parent education in early childhood education institutions, and provides a basis for future research and programs to improve the happiness of parents of infants and toddlers.

        Analyzing the Effects of Smartphone Addiction, Parental Attachment, Peer Attachment on Impulsivity in School-Disengaged Adolescents

        Purpose: This study examined the effects of smartphone addiction, parental attachment, and peer attachment on impulsivity among dropout adolescents, using 318 adolescents who participated in the fifth year of the Panel Survey of School Disengaged Adolescents. Method: To investigate the impact of smartphone addiction on impulsivity among school dropouts, we conducted inter-variable correlation analysis, three-step mediated regression analysis, and Sobel test. Results: First, the correlations between impulsivity, smartphone addiction, parental attachment, and peer attachment of dropout adolescents were analyzed, and the results showed that parental attachment and peer attachment were negatively related to impulsivity and smartphone addiction were positively related to impulsivity. Second, the mediating effects of parental attachment and peer attachment on the effects of smartphone addiction on impulsivity of dropout adolescents were analyzed, and the results showed that both parental attachment and peer attachment had mediating effects on reducing impulsivity of dropout adolescents. Conclusion: This study is significant in that it confirms the influence of parental attachment and peer attachment on smartphone addiction and impulsivity among dropout adolescents. Therefore, based on the findings of this study, various educational interventions are needed to reduce the impulsivity of dropout adolescents through various pathways of adolescent impulsivity, and at the same time, programs that promote healthy parent-child relationships and peer relationships should be actively implemented as a preventive measure.

        유아교사가 인식하는 조직공정성, 긍정심리자본이 유아교사의 역할수행에 미치는 영향

        본 연구는 유아교사가 인식하는 조직공정성과 긍정심리자본이 유아교사의 역할수행에 미치는 영향을 알아보는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 경상남도 C시에 소재하고 있는 유아교육기관에 근무 중인 유아교사 321명을 임의 표집방식으로 선정하였고, 예비조사와 본 조사를 거쳐 최종 완성된 설문지를 배부하여 자료를 수집하였다. 자료 분석은 상관분석과 다중회귀분석을 사용하였다. 연구결과, 첫째, 유아교사는 조직공정성과 긍정심리자본, 역할수행을 보통 수준 이상으로 높게 인식하고 있었다. 둘째, 유아교사의 역할수행과 조직공정성 및 긍정심리자본은 모두 정적으로 유의한 관련성이 타났다. 셋째, 교사의 역할수행에는 긍정심리자본, 조직공정성의 순으로 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구결과는 교사의 역할수행을 증진시킴에 있어 긍정적 심리 특성인 긍정심리자본과 조직공정성의 중요성을 입증하였는데 의의가 있다. 또한 유아교육 현장에서 유아교사의 긍정심리의 중요성과 당위성을 인식시켜줌으로써 최근 유아교사의 교직 만족도 및 행복 연구에 의미있는 시사점을 제공할 수 있을 것이다. The purpose of this study is to find out the effect of organizational fairness and positive psychological capital recognized by infant teachers on the role performance of infant teachers. For this purpose, 321 infant teachers working at an infant education institution in C-si, Gyeongsangnam-do were selected as random selection methods and the data were collected by distributing the final completed questionnaire after preliminary investigation and main investigation. Correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis were used for data analysis. As a result of the study, firstly, the infant teacher recognized Organizational Justice, positive psysiological capital, and Role performance above normal levels. Second, the role-perception of infant teachers, Organizational justice, and positive psysiological capital were all statistically significant related. Third, the teacher s role performance was shown to affect the order of positive psychological capital, Organizational justice. The results of this study are significant in demonstrating the importance of positive psychological capital and Organizational justice, which are positive psychological characteristics in promoting teacher role performance. And by recognizing the importance and place of positive psychology of infant teachers in the field of infant education, we can provide meaningful implications for the recent teaching satisfaction and happiness reserach of infant teachers.
