농촌 고교생의 체질량 지수(BMI)와 영양섭취상태와의 관계

This study was carried out to evaluate high-school students' nutrient intakes according to the status of body mass index, and to analyze the physical health status. The volunteers were 560 high school students in 8 provinces, but 511 students were analyzed. It was used questionnaire method as an instrument tool. The questions were composed with socio-demographic characteristics, physical health condition by CMI, and the evaluation of food consumption by 24 hours recall method. Anthrophometric measurement of height and weight was used the data of health chart of each school-class. The family situation of the subjects was mostly nuclear family(73%), agricultural work(53%), and normal living situation(75%). The students of the BMI range of 18-23 were 71%, but those of the overweight(over 23) were 15%. The individual characteristics were different in BMI. Female and third grade students were more of BMI scores. The overall nutrient intakes of students were low compared with Korean RDA of adolescent, especially iron, calcium, vitamin A, and riboflavin. The mean adequacy ratio(MAR) of nutrient intakes was 0.45±0.23 only. The energy nutrients, ash, and vitamin A intakes were significantly different according to the different BMI groups, But the other mineral and vitamin intakes were not different according to BMI. By the correlation of individual characters with BMI, height was negatively and weight and school grade were positively correlated, but sleeping time and study accomplishment were not correlated. By the correlation of nutrient intakes with BMI, there were negative correlation with the intakes of energy, carbohydrates, potassium, and thiamin. According to this results, We concluded that Korean high-school students living in rural were lower intake of nutrients(iron, vitamin A, and riboflavin) and unbalanced nutrient intakes(MAR of 0.45±0.23). The state of lower intakes of energy nutrients and vitamin A intakes in higher BMI group mean the students spend their effort to reduce BMI for avoiding obesity. But they need to balanced diet, and good nutrient intakes. These situations would be necessary for students to ameliorate quality of living in rural.

In this paper, established process of AAO template produce and analysed and observed being growth CNT(Carbon nanotube) after processing of CVD with FE-SEM and Raman spectrum. AAO template analysed four kinds of substrate about Al/Si, Al/SiO₂/Si, Al/Ni/Ti/Si, Al sheet, and then make CNT grow using CVD. The Size of manufactured pore adjusted approximately from 30 ㎚ to 70 ㎚ and length adjusted from 300 ㎚ to 1 ㎛. Diameter of CNT was 40 ㎚ and length grow about 1 ㎛.
일 강우 자료를 적용한 SATEEC ver. 1.8 모형의 토양유실량 산정 적용성 평가

Because of steep topography and intensive agricultural practices at highland areas, accelerated soil erosion is expected to occur during summer monsoon period from July to September. Thus, turbid water inflow are causing degradations in water quality and ecosystem of the receiving waterbodies. The USLE-based Sediment Assessment Tool for Effective Erosion Control (SATEEC) system was developed and enhanced for soil erosion and sediment yield estimation at a watershed scale. However SATEEC ver. 1.6 couldn`t be used to simulate sediment yield at temporal scale. Thus, the SATEEC 1.8 was utilized to demonstrate its time-variant soil erosion estimation capability by comparing its predicted values with those from the SWAT model. The R2 value was 0.54 and the Nash-Sutcliffe coefficient value was 0.44 when comparing the SATEEC ver 1.8 estimated valeus with the SWAT. It was found that the SATEEC ver.1.8 system can be used to simulate time-variant soil erosion values.

In this paper, deep trench etching of silicon was investigated as a function of source power (300~600 W), DC bias voltage (0~-100 V), O2 addition (0~29%). As increasing the RF source power from 300 W to 700 W, the etch rate was increased from 3.52 ㎛/min to 7.07 ㎛/min. The addition of O₂ gas improved the etch rate and the selectivity. The highest etch rate is achieved at the O₂ gas addition of 12%. The selectivity to PR was 65.75 with O₂ gas addition of 24%. At DC bias voltage of -40 V and C₄F? gas flow rate of 30 seem, We were able to achieve etch rate as high as 5.25 ㎛/min with good etch profile.

The effect of oriental medicines an the growth of oral bacteria(B. pumilus JU4, B. coagulans JU6, B. subtilis var globigii JU7 and B. subtilis var. globigii JU9) which were isolated from teeth, gums and tongues of patients was investigated. lt was shown that the water extracts of Glycyrrhiza glabra L. var. glandulifera Regel et Zucc., Schizandrae Fructus and Coptidis Rhizoma have the strong antimicrobial activity against every test organism. Especially, the water extract of Schizandrae Fructus has the most antimicrobial activity against all test bacteria of which MIC were the same as 0.25%. The growth of oral bacteria B. pumilus JU4 was inhibited by addition of the water extracts of Glycyrrhizae Radix, Schizandrae Fructus and Coptidis Rhizoma in the concentration of 0.9%, 0.2% and 0.1% respectively. It was tested that specific growth rates of B. pumilus JU4 in each concentration of the water extracts of Glycyrrhizae Radix, Schizandrae Fructus and Coptidis Rhizoma. From the results, the test showed that mean of specific growth rates of B. pumilus JU4 decreased 102%, 186% and 210% in 3% concentration of the water extracts of Glycyrrhizae Radix, Schizandrae Fructus and Coptidis Rhizoma more than those in control respectively.

Primary biliary cirrhosis (PBC) is a chronic inflammatory disease characterized by fibrous obliteration of intrahepatic bile ductules. Although the etiopathogenesis of PBC remains unclear, several studies suggest that a disordered immune response may be involved. This disease is commonly associated with various autoimmune diseases, such as Sjogren`s syndrome, scleroderma, rheumatoid arthritis, Hashimoto`s thyroiditis, polymyositis, and pernicious anemia. More than 80% of cases with PBC are accompanied by at least one autoimmune disorder, and 40% by two or more. Sjogren`s syndrome, defined by dry eyes and xerostomia, may be found in 69 to 81% of PBC patients. However, concurrent coexistence of PBC and systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) has been rarely described in the literature. We report a 46-year-old female with PBC and Sjogren`s syndrome who also satisfied a classification criteria of SLE.
구강으로부터 세균의 분리동정 및 이들 균의 성장에 대한 각종 화학물질의 영향

Oral bacteria were isolated and identified from teeth, gums and tongues of patients who were visited at Dentistry of Yeungnam University Medical Center and the effect of chemical substances an the growth of these bacteria was investigated. In result, each isolates was identified as Bacillus pumilus, Bacillus coagulans and Bacillus subtilis var. globigii. It was showed that the MIC of sodium chloride against all the tested strains was M. These oral bacteria were sensitive to antibiotics such as ampicillin, kanamycin and penicillin, however, these organisms have a strong tolerance to the ripampicin. It was confirmed that the growth of oral bacteria was not restrained by use of 1.0% of sodium propionate and sorbic acid.
중 , 고등학생의 식생활행동과 신체상태 및 학업성취도와의 관계 연구

The purpose of this study was to determine the influences on physical status and study achievement by the dietary behavior of the youth in Korea. The survey was carried from June to July, 1995 by way of questionnaire to 397 students. The students' study achievement records and physical status were analyzed by the factor of dietary behavior. The results were as follows: 1. The average physical status of male students was lean, but females were standard. 76% of mothers of the subjects were working in specialty farming. The monthly income of their family was 1000∼1500 thousand Won and students' pocket money was 20∼40 thousand Won per month. 2. The aspects of meal behavior included the general idea that the meal was thought to relieve hunger, and preference of taste was spiciness The most important factor of the meals for the students was taste. Their bad meal habits were quick eating and irregularity of meals. 3. There was a significant difference in the comparison of the study achieving records with the frequency of supper. However, there was no one meaningful difference between study achievement records and the attendance rate to school, health status, and living conditions. However, there was a significant difference between their study records and eating with family. The students, who had the breakfast and/or supper with family, remarked better study records than other groups. 4. Also, there was a significant difference of study records with physical status. The overweight or obese students had a lower degree of study score (P<0.1). Adolescence is considered a period of setting up dietary behavior, so it is necessary to educate good nutrition and dietary habits for students to keep in healthy physical condition and with high study achievements.
