Dorsal root ganglion(DRG) block by the local anesthetics and steroids which has done classically in low back pain(LBP) patients with radiculopathy has high incidence of recurrence rate and side effects of steroids. Recently a new technique of pulsed radiofrequency thermocoagulation(P-RFTC) was introduced and substituted for it because of the benefits such as relatively low recurrence rate, low risk of nerve injury and comfort during the procedure. We experienced 15 patients who had LBP with radiculopathy and no or little response to epidural steroid injection. When we performed DR ganglionotomy by P- RFTC under the C-arm guide in these patients, we tried to approach the exact DR ganglion using tow cannulas - the one for obtaining patient's subjective symptoms and injection of contrast dye, the other for making a RF lesioning after identifying the impedance of sensory and motor stimulation. In conclusion, DR ganglionotomy by P- RFTC using two cannulas in LBP patients is an easy and safe procedure with satisfactory results.

There are several bearing system at large steam-turbines in thermal power plant. The bearing system is one of the most important parts of rotating machinery. The steam turbine vibrations mainly depend on the bearing oil the shaft alignment condition. This paper describes on the steam turbine abnormal vibration due to the oil whip in terms of the shaft alignment in the thermal power plant.
Vessel Tank로 유입되는 폐열회수 처리에 관한 연구

When a Combined cycle power plant was started, Steam turbine wasted pure water too much during prewarming of turbine. Wasted pure water gathered in vessel tank and evaporated immediately, then emitted atmosphere. We investigate method to recover the heat in vessel tank. We installed a heat exchanger in vessel tank. In this study, the designing and manufacturing procedures of the heat exchanger was presented. Also, the performance results was showed briefly.

From 2014 to 2016, water quality of Youngrang Lake was surveyed, according to the location and depth. Following observations were recorded. Distribution of dissolved oxygen in the water depth was investigated at the middle section and the downstream 1st, 3rd, 5th, when investigating the bottom lm interval anoxic layer. The organic matter and nutrient concentration distribution was COD upstream 2.8 mg/L, middle section 4.2 mg/L downstream 4.1 mg/L, which was more than two times higher in the bottom layer. The TP concentrations showed a similar trend as the COD, being 0.047 mg/L at upstream, 0.051 mg/L in the middle, and 0.059 mg/L downstream. Difference in salinity was observed at every survey period; the lowest salinity recorded 28.5% during the second survey, and highest was 32.1% in the fourth survey. Korean trophic state index (TSIko) showed eutrophic conditions in the middle section and downstream, whereas mesotrophic state was maintained elsewhere during the entire period. In order to evaluate the cause of water pollution of the Youngrang lake, regression analysis determined the relationship between salinity and DO, COD, TN,TP, Chl-a; the results indicated R2 from 0.63 to 0.95. Youngrang lake water quality had a close relationship with salinity due to inflow of seawater. As a result,in order to improve the quality of Youngrang lake, efficient incorporation of the amount of water through the seawater influent is considered the key.
